Recent attempts to vandalise this page (by a former rival station) are reverted. In the interests of full disclosure, I am ex-staff of FurFusion Radio, the project started after she left AFR. In the interests of this wiki, I feel this article is wiki-worthy, and should be kept in the tone and manner of fact. If any fact stated is in dispute, sources should be cited. -- Kashi Commodore.

After the departure of the former head of the Furcadia branch, she was promoted to CEO of the Furcadia Branch in July 2008. She began a process of heavy recruitment and the station rose in popularity as a result. The station became more well known amongst the [[Furcadia]] community and was soon seen as a serious alternative to the then-popular WFMA Radio. By the summer of 2009 however, the station was once again in a lull. Delectable responded by hiring DJ's with more unique styles and tastes and by concentrating on competitions and give-aways on the broadcasts. It was at this time she would meet up with future key figures at her next project. The stations popularity boomed as a result of her leadership and she became very well respected for her managerial skills.

Notably, during a 'Slave Auction' event where all the DJ's were 'sold' as part of a fund raising effort for the station, the sale price of Delectable rose to $400, more than all of the other staff combined.

In June 2010, she left AllFurRadio rather suddenly after an inter managerial dispute which had been unknown to most of the stations listeners and sponsors. Upon announcing her resignation, the entire Furcadia Branch staff decided to also leave, effectively stopping operations in the Furcadia Branch. A final broadcast was made on June 11th 2010 where she announced her intent to go on with other projects elsewhere, much to the delight of her fans and supporters. AllFurRadio continued to operate in the SecondLife community separately.

After leaving AllFurRadio, she began discussions with other DJ's, operators and technically capable people about the possibility of setting up a new station. After teaming up with another former AllFurRadio CEO, [[Wren Mikita]] they agreed to commence work on a new project [[FurFusion Radio]]. Delectable was keen to invite the former members of the Furcadia Branch, many of whom rejoined her at the new station. It was decided she would be titled 'Radio and Broadcasting Manager' and oversee the on-air scheduling, staff management and promotions of the new group.

The station went live on October 29th, though Delectable was absent from the initial starting line-up of DJ's. She has since then resumed her shows on the new station.

== Overview ==

Furcadia is free to all users. To join Furcadia, the [http://cms.furcadia.com/help/download Furcadia Client] can be downloaded and installed. This client connects to the Furcadia server, allows for character creation, and provides a graphical environment where a [[furre]] (Furcadia character) can explore [[Dream (Furcadia)|dreams]] (player-made areas) and interact with others.

Joining Furcadia involves creating a character by selecting a name, entering a contact e-mail address to activate an account, selecting a [[species]], choosing colors, and writing a personal description that is visible to other furres.

The following species can be selected during the character creation process: [[Rodent]], [[Equine]], [[Feline]], [[Canine]], [[Musteline]], [[Rabbit|Lapine]], [[Squirrel (species)|Squirrel]], [[Bovine]] (also known as [[Minotaur]]s), [[Ursine]], and [[Bugge]]. It is also common to use one of these base species to create another; for example, choosing the coloring on a squirrel to make it look like a [[Skunk (species)|skunk]].

In addition to the basic species, furres can purchase optional add-ons for their character using real-world money. These add-ons are known as "Digos". These include Portrait spaces (for one [[port]] each), [[wing]]s (Classic Wings, Tricolor Wings, Butterfly Wings, [[Bat]] Wings, and Prime Wings), mythicals, including the ([[Dragon]], [[Phoenix]], [[Gryphon]], Kitterwing, Unicorn, Kirin, and "ferian" (non-biped) species). Some of these avatars include abilities, such as flight and fire-breathing effects for example. Furcadia also offers Furlings (child furres), Nobles (regal male and female versions of the 'default' species) and Seasonal avatars (only available during certain times of year). All purchases help support the operation costs and development of Furcadia.

I disagree. Furcadia was released several days before The Realm, and so does meet that milestone. However, I haven't reversed the edit as the term 'MMO Game' is disputed and I am unaware if another game may have beaten them both. The rewording therefore is possibly better as it is.

==Furcadia Development==
Kashi is one of the current members of 'Team Dragon', the main development team of Dragon's Eye Productions (the developers of Furcadia). He joined the team in early 2012 to assist with a client software update, taking the role of Systems Administrator for the company. Already well known in the community for his previous positions in the [[Beekin]] volunteer program, Kashi was well received by the player base and quickly became well known for his tongue-in-cheek humor and various publicity stunts.

When the game launched a Kickstarter appeal in late 2012, Kashi was one of the team members at the forefront of the appeal, appearing in the various videos and live stream broadcasts held during that time<ref>Furcadia - The Second Dreaming: Kickstarter Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSgu3XsL9mY</ref>. His role soon increased at the station and he quickly became a popular personality within the group. He soon rose to a technical manager position within the station, but left at the end of April 2010 after an inter-managerial dispute. He was the focus of some negative attention over the circumstances of his departure.

Since then, he went on to help establish a newly formed station, [[FurFusion Radio]], where he again fulfilled a technical and development role. His main work there involved the production and maintenance of the website and server facilities, as well as supervision of the general operations and security of the station. This role placed him back in the company of many former members of AllFurRadio. The Station launch was not a great success however, and the project was subsequently dropped due to lack of support.

His persona on the air is of a criminal 'hacker' who constantly seeks to disrupt and upset the other DJ's, and interrupt usual programming to broadcast a 'pirate' rockshow. He is usually the focus of negative attention from the other DJ's on-air. Furcadia is free to all users. To join Furcadia, the [http://www.furcadia.com/download/ Client software] can be downloaded and installed. This client connects to the Furcadia server, allows for character creation, and provides a graphical environment where a [[furre]] (Furcadia character) can explore [[Dream (Furcadia)|dreams]] (player-made areas) and interact with others.

Joining Furcadia involves creating a character by selecting a name, entering a contact e-mail address to activate an account, selecting a [[species]], choosing colors, and writing a personal description that is visible to other furres.

The following species can be selected during the character creation process: [[Rodent]], [[Equine]], [[Feline]], [[Canine]], [[Musteline]], [[Rabbit|Lapine]], [[Squirrel (species)|Squirrel]], [[Bovine]] (also known as [[Minotaur]]s), [[Ursine]], and [Bugge]]. It is also common to use one of these base species to create another; for example, choosing the coloring on a squirrel to make it look like a [[Skunk (species)|skunk]].

In addition to the basic species, furres can purchase various add-ons for their character using real-world money. These add-ons are known as "Digos". == Overview ==

Furcadia is free to all users. To join Furcadia, the [http://www.furcadia.com/download/ Client software] can be downloaded and installed. This client connects to the Furcadia server, allows for character creation, and provides a graphical environment where a [[furre]] (Furcadia character) can explore [[Dream (Furcadia)|dreams]] (player-made areas) and interact with others.

Joining Furcadia involves creating a character by selecting a name, entering a contact e-mail address to activate an account, selecting a [[species]], choosing colors, and writing a personal description that is visible to other furres.

The following species can be selected during the character creation process: [[Rodent]], [[Equine]], [[Feline]], [[Canine]], [[Musteline]], [[Rabbit|Lapine]], [[Squirrel (species)|Squirrel]], [[Bovine]] (also known as [[Minotaur]]s), [[Ursine]], and [Bugge]]. It is also common to use one of these base species to create another; for example, choosing the coloring on a squirrel to make it look like a [[Skunk (species)|skunk]].

In addition to the basic species, furres can purchase various add-ons for their character using real-world money. These add-ons are known as "Digos". These include Portrait spaces (for one [[port]] each), pixel roses, five types of [[wing]]s (Classic Wings, Tricolor Wings, Butterfly Wings, [[Bat]] Wings, and Prime Wings), various alternate species, including the ([[Dragon]], [[Phoenix]], [[Gryphon]], Kitterwing, Unicorn, Kirin and "ferian" ("unevolved", non-biped) species, including the Wolven, Tygard, Leonen, Foxen, and Catten). Some of these avatars include abilities, such as flight and fire-breathing effects for example. Furcadia also offers Furling (child furres), Nobles (improved male and female versions of the 'default' species) and Seasonal avatars (only available during certain times of year) such as Chinchilla, Flox (a foxen with a flower on its back), Bat, Penguin and the Reindeer. All purchases help support the operation costs and development of Furcadia.

:Both of those are technically feasible, but the first would require writing a bot script and assumes they are the same person, while I'm not sure the second is a good idea in general. My opinion is that a fursuit is only a fursuit if associated with furry, otherwise, it's an animal or mascot costume. Also, whenever I try to edit a section or add a new section, the wiki tries to replace the entire text with the section. Any thoughts on why this is? The only difference between the newest version and the older one (which I used on my PC) is that this allows me to edit, as long as I do not scroll down the page, whereas the older would simply lock up my computer if I even went to an edit page. The only way I am able to edit on this laptop I often use is by typing without scrolling too much, and then clicking the "Changes" tab, where it allows me to scroll down to click save. After a few years of it being there, I suddenly found a user "Spirou" putting my Monoceros page up for deletion. When I undid his edit and asked why, he deleted it in its entirety and replaced it with a 'redirect'.

Just curious why I was singled out. Or are all http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Category:Fictional_species pages due to to be similarly deleted/redirected if any single WikiFur editor decides that a 'custom species' isn't to his or her liking? Well, I talked to him. Nothing was really accomplished, however. He accused me of attacking him when I was merely asking why he wanted the section removed, which he didn't give a clear answer to. He said he didn't want people googling his name to find out about FA, so I suggested not indexing it, which you've apparently done. However, he then said it was pointless to have the article at all if Google can't find it, to which the only solution is personal exclusion, but he didn't want that either. Then he ''did'' want it. He seemed to have changed his mind again by the ''end'' of the discussion, and said the information was inaccurate. I advised him to correct it, then threatened to blank it immediately after. All the while making passive aggressive insults and threatening to tattle on me to you for "bringing drama" and telling me I'm lucky he didn't have me banned, despite having done nothing wronf. In fact, I was more polite than usual. Also, you apparently "told him about me" but I don't know what you said. All in all, it only managed to shave a few years off my lifespan, because I still don't know what he wants or what happened. Hey Green, We've all been through this before. dan skunk is reversing edits on the page, after I removed the "see other/danskunk" and he placed it back. With me removing again. As a director of the convention and concom, speaking with others on said places. We do not wish his wikifur linked from our page article. He has mention in the article and that is enough, he has and still continues to cause problems for us, including many threatening e-mails sent to myself and other directors of the convention in the last few months. We would appreciate if he was blocked from editing our page, or our page was locked from edits, except from anyone of the directors. Scani, Myself, Blindsight, Pakesh or Arctic. At the least I'd like dan skunk to be prevented from editing our page. We don't need more issues then we already have with him and his problems.

Generally, I feel it is not appropriate policy for pages to be locked down to a whitelist of official authors who can contribute. I help run a convention, so I have a similar perspective about public perceptions and controlling impressions. We do this through our convention website, and I think that's the appropriate place for controlled messages and positive promotional text. Our event, like yours, has had a turbulent past that got us to where we are today, and while history isn't always positive or engendering of those presently organizing an event, convention, website, etc., it's an important part of the history of the event, but also, often for the regional fandom at large. If items are added which are true facts, written in a NPOV, and are referenced according to standard, even if they cast an event in a contentious or less than positive light, they're part of a total perspective an encyclopedic article deserves. I noticed the tremendous amount of edits/reverts/reedits/talk page notes that have been going on about your event, and I can't find evidence that Dan is "trolling" in any usual sense, though I certainly understand how you might wish him to not publish his edits as associated with your event. However, I think to be true to it's intended form, that's a concession we have to allow to keep Wikifur credible and in a long-term sense, truly useful. I don't believe anyone should be granted a privileged status as to what an article should say because they are elected or appointed to organize the subject matter being discussed. At the very least, I would recommend that if Dan puts up something you find untruthful, the references be questioned and researched by uninvolved parties, and consensus is reached before edits/reverts are made. Until that happens, even if you were exclusive granted access to maintain the article, it would no longer be credible, it would simply be promotional without community consensus and involvement. :Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The thumbnail was deleted because the software listed it as unused and another editor thought it was superfluous. I have noted its use on the file page. The thumbnails are used because indexed PNG thumbs are much more efficient than the full-colour ones made by default. I did a bit more digging and found that I can force a manual link as well as a thumb, so that should work nicely now.

:As for the earlier version image, I replaced it with what I consider to be the "title" screen, which is equivalent to an earlier version of the image. The warning screen might be included too, as a separate image but it seems a little superfluous - maybe just a mention in the text, if anything? I have my own article, which was self-edited to an extent to correct inaccuracies. And I suppose it might be prudent to update it given my new position. That thought has highlighted an idea..

I see a few factual inaccuracies in Furcadia related articles which I'd be happy to correct. Of course, that would be 'self-editing' in a sense and wanted to clarify what the policy is on that. I'm not a marketer or salesperson, and am happy to attempt to cite official sources where possible. But I wouldn't want to invalidate the encyclopaedic purity of the site - merely correct a few errors. I could see how I would not be regarded as impartial. I'm not sure if I can say I would be an 'official' source myself, but I'm certainly as official as you are likely to get, which has it's own pros and cons of course. I could provide examples of what 'inaccuracies' I refer to if that helps.

==Radio Projects==
He had joined [[AllFurRadio]] in September 2009, initially as a forum administrator to assist with the reworking of their website. His role soon increased at the station and he quickly became a popular personality within the group. He soon rose to a technical manager position within the station, but left in June 2010 after an inter-managerial dispute. He was the focus of some negative attention over the circumstances of his departure.

allfurradio has been put into a sleep for one year. it is still looking for qualified DJs and staff. as well as working in conjunction with its mother company allfurnetwork, which parents 2 other companies allfurmedia and allfurcon.

'''DJ Delectable''' is a [[furry]] DJ, mainly known amongst the [[Furcadia]] on-line community.

She started DJing with [[AllFurRadio]] at the beginning of March, 2008. By April 9th, 2008, she had reached the AllFurRadio peak listener record of 150 listeners. By July 2008, she was promoted from CEO of Personnel for the [[Furcadia]] branch to CEO of the Furcadia branch of AllFurRadio. She left AllFurRadio in June 2010 after an inter managerial dispute, in which many key figures at the station left.

Since then, she has joined up with former AFR figures to form a new station, [[FurFusion Radio]].

The other co-founders were Arcturis McCloud (aka DJ Paladin), Lorelei Xiao (aka DJ Kinky), and Wren Mikita (aka DJ War). These founders and co-owners have since left these roles at the network.

AFR made its first broadcasts in the game of Second Life and received most of its initial support from the furry sim cluster known as FurNation. AFR then attempted to branch out over the next year into the game known as Furcadia and to the sim clusters of Ryder and Lost Furrest in Second Life. Sadly, only the Furcadia branch still remains.

AllFurRadio is known for it's regular visits to conventions, starting with [[Anthrocon]] in 2007, and continuing 2008 and 2009. AllFurRadio usually broadcasts from Fernando's cafe to the con-goers. In Spetember 2009, the website was given a major overhaul and two dedicated Technical Staff were assigned to the station.

==Network Programming==

A number of network-wide shows are also broadcast, including the Lazy Sunday Show and a games-orientated talk show known as 'Th3 Gam3'. These shows, managed by the Second Life branch, are broadcast on both stations at the same time. The Second Life branch also run a supplementary 'Games Night' for the community, to supplement the afore-mentioned games show.

Kashi Commodore is a furry DJ and the Technical Administrator for the Furcadia Branch of AllFurRadio, as well as a member of several other Furcadia-related groups. <ref>http://www.allfurradio.com/furcadia</ref>

He joined AllFurRadio in September 2009, initally as a forum administrator to assist with the reworking of their website. His role soon increased at the station and he quickly became a popular personality within the group. His role is to develop and maintain the website and facilities, as well as assist in the training of new DJ's and staff, general administrative duties and assisting in the development of the station and brand as a whole.

His 'fursona' on the station is of a criminal 'hacker' who constantly seeks to disrupt and upset the other DJ's, and interrupt usual programming to broadcast a 'pirate' rockshow. He is usually the focus of negative attention from the other DJ's on-air. This has resulted in some memorable moments, such as an occasion where he 'sold' the other DJ's at a slave auction on-air to raise money for himself.
