AnthroExpo LLC (also known as AnEx) is a new furry convention set to take place at the Wyndham Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On March 11th, 2019, the new dates for the convention were released and are now marked for January 31st - February 2nd, 2020.

The aim of AnthroExpo is to start a new hotel convention for Oklahoma, to promote dealers and artists alike, and to bring about a renewed sense of community for furries.

Kickstarter
AnthroExpo began their Kickstarter on November 9th, 2018, with an all-or-nothing goal of $2500. It has since completed its goal, earning a total of $8401.

Founded in 1984, Wildcare's mission is to provide people a place to bring native wildlife struggling to survive, with the goal of releasing healthy individuals back to nature. Since opening, over 80,000 wild animals have passed through our doors. Over 7,000 patients representing over 140 different species are treated annually thanks to thousands of willing rescuers and dedicated supporters.

Mascots
The official mascots for AnthroExpo are Andrea the scissortail flycatcher, which is also the state bird of Oklahoma, and Exavier the prairie dog. They are featured on official artwork, including the website, and eventual merchandise.

Controversy
Furaffinity bans
Conner has had a record history of being banned from Fur Affinity multiple times, as well as attempts to evade his ban. Examples of these said accounts include ConnerHemming,Shadowconner, Cobaltlecreed, Connerhemming16, ConnerLupindo, Kumoriconner, Macrofurry, Canidane, BlacierReiwinn Farrahavon, DJBlazingFire, TheLastWerewolf, TinytheFolf, iconner, officialcvm Also an account being the mate of conner. ShaylaAyame also known as AyameHemming

He claims he was banned by Dragoneer for faving art as seen here. Basically though many of his bans were for harassment, stalking, and threats to other users on furaffnity. However it has also been known that he antagonizing artists several examples of such incidents. PawstheFox with such journals as Second Day of being a furry Foxes are Monsters New character

Recently he was banned (Suspended) again for evasion on two accounts; one of those said accounts was Eamane the new mate of conner hemming Which led to this reply on Dragoneer deviantART page.Conner Remark
On May 12 He made the Eamane account on the FA Forums to post thread he posted on the Insuendo Region Minecraft Server. Eventually it did not take very long for someone on the forums to figure it out they were the same person. Which lead to a swift ban off the furaffnity forums.

The Deadly Wolves and copyright infringement
Conner also uses The Deadly Wolves. The band members which were made up by Zach were Conner himself, Fera Hemming, Waya Hemming, Kane Smith, and Ayame Hemming. However this has been known to be not true considering many claims that he represent other people's work as his own with out ever giving credit.fact Before the band was known as The Deadly Wolves. they were known as Deadly Wolves Pack A few incidents of this included, Taking other artists artwork to using as covers or promotional material to promote his band. The actual artwork of the cover is Rough Beauty by Fluke. As well as ripping off songs from other music artists. And incident of this ended up having said songs being taken down as said on the deadly wolves band furaffnity page. Another relation to this would be TheHemmings an account which was created to be a similar band to the deadly wolves.

On April 2011 Two second life videos that were posted on youtube account called “Sit Close”, and “Whatever works for you”. from his band the deadly wolves on his main youtube account Conner Hemming Eventually it was discovered quickly from several youtube users. that the lyrics were actually two stolen tracks called “Consider This”, and “Sounds of a crowded room from the album Say Hello by the band Born without Bones. This led to his main youtube account, as well as one of his alt accounts Macrofurry being terminated from multiple third party notifications including one from GiantessKatelyn.com. On April 4, 2011 a DA journal posted by conner himself explaining it as a youtube glitch. On April 5th another journal claiming his youtube page was locked for 24 hours. On April 25th a journal entitled Macrofurry Returns showing that his Macrofurry account may be restored but so far the account name is still terminated.

Also factual is many accounts mentioning, or associating The Deadly Wolves which would include ConnerFirehawk, and Shadowconner. But sockpuppets he made of his band members. FeraHemming,WayaHemming, and KaneSmith which were also banned. Other accounts that supported the band would be Jeboaman

Weasyl forum ban
Before the image board had even started as a beta site, Conner (as StrawberryPawz) was banned from the Weasyl forums.

Furry News Network Interview
On September 7 Conner was interviewed on Furry News Network showing his opinion on the furry fandom which eventually lead to a comment made by Fayroe. this news interview eventually led to a discussion on FurCast.
