The '''YouTube Furry War''' is a term used to refer to a sharp increase of [[anti-furry]] [[troll|trolling]] against furries inside or outside of the [[furry fandom]], which began around summer 2007 and is still ongoing. From popular opinion, this was suggested to be the catalyst for the YouTube Furry War.]]
Although many theories still circulate as to how the Furry War had begun, it is widely rumored however to have been started by [[Soki Twopaw]] who, fed up with the outweighing number of negative and defamatory comments on his videos, promoted the idea of a furry uprising against trolls.

This eventually turned into ''Ultimatum Declaratum'', a video created by Soki to express his disdain and solution about the trolls. Initially, many furries were in favor of the rebellion.

However, this also drew the attention of many trolls who all immediately lampooned such an idea. As a result, many anti-fur YouTube users (not all were necessarily trolls) started to massively spam furry-related videos whether their authors were involved in the conflict or not.

This continued for a number of months, until a group calling themselves the FCTC (or the Fried Chicken Trolling Crew) appeared soon after the start of the war with the specific purpose of posting inflammatory comments and hacking furry-related YouTube accounts.

The most notable of these was in late 2007, where a failed [[wikipedia:phishing|phishing]] attempt was circulated through e-mails and falsified YouTube pages - this was soon halted after allegedly being reported by [[Wolfee Darkfang]]; no perpetrators have been caught.

Administrators on the Silentwulf site were able to lock-down the site, and track down those responsible. Little information exists on what transpired.

A video series, titled ''YouTube Furry War'', was started by [[Alexander Grey]] to specifically counter comments left by trolls in a calm and logical manner; by means to contrast to the usually angry and loathing videos left by enraged furs. A group known as the New Furry Movement (N.F.M) was established counter trolling activities directed against furries on youtube and other sites. However controversial incidences involving the group combined with internal strife ultimately proved to be the NFM's Demise.

''Exterminatus Now'' has many references to the [[Sonic the Hedgehog]] series. The setting is the same Mobius referred to in the English-speaking video games. Lothar resembles [[Knuckles the Echidna]], although only in that he is the same species while Eastwood bears a passing resemblance to [[Miles "Tails" Prower]] - much to the artist's irritation. Chao like Blasphemy were created in [[Wikipedia:Sonic Adventure|Sonic Adventure]] - and, in one comic, Lothar tells how he was turned down from appearing in the Sonic games in preference to [[Shadow the Hedgehog|Shadow]].

==Second Furry War==

Conflict got big and the Furry War number 2 started with the AFO or the Anti Furry Orgo coming out of it

In recent news on the Youtube Furry War the AntiFurryOrgo has been eliminated by two anti trolls named MrDisambiguation and elementemblem412. They turned the trolls against the AFO and the trolls were able to suspend him. elementemblem412 said "the trolls finally realized how much the fail the AFO is, but we are not done yet more and more troll groups are popping up" these two are really making a big tip in the Youtube Furry War. Right now they are focusing on the Deth2FurfagsCoalition or the D2FC. MrDisambigation is a furry that is taking joy of taking care of the trolls and makes many videos about what he thinks about trolls. elementemblem412 is said to not be a furry but a furry supporter who believes strongly for furry rights and doesn't like "all this hate in our world today" and is also taking joy in doing this.

They are currently still working on removing as many troll and troll groups as possible. Also a strange fact about these two is that they are both big fans of metal and are both teenagers. No matter what they may or may not do they are fighting for our rights as furries. It may only be on the internet where they do this but that is only the beginning and maybe we can live in a world without so many trolls making lies and hateful things about us.

A recently discovered quote by elementemblem412 has been said to two troll groups the Deth2FurfagCoalition or the D2FC and the Anti Furfag Alliance of Awesome. "you will all fall like the FCTC". Looks like the Youtube Furry War has spiced up from this comment and hopefully he and MrDisambiguation can accomplish that.

A new war has started and out of this the AFO or Anti Furry Orgo came out

In recent news on the Youtube Furry War the AntiFurryOrgo has been eliminated by two anti trolls named MrDisambiguation and elementemblem412. They turned the trolls against the AFO and the trolls were able to suspend him. elementemblem412 said "the trolls finally realized how much the fail the AFO is, but we are not done yet more and more troll groups are popping up" these two are really making a big tip in the Youtube Furry War. Right now they are focusing on the Deth2FurfagsCoalition or the D2FC. MrDisambigation is a furry that is taking joy of taking care of the trolls and makes many videos about what he thinks about trolls. elementemblem412 is said to not be a furry but a furry supporter who believes strongly for furry rights and doesn't like "all this hate in our world today" and is also taking joy in doing this.

They are currently still working on removing as many troll and troll groups as possible. Also a strange fact about these two is that they are both big fans of metal and are both teenagers. No matter what they may or may not do they are fighting for our rights as furries. It may only be on the internet where they do this but that is only the beginning and maybe we can live in a world without so many trolls making lies and hateful things about us.

A recently discovered quote by elementemblem412 has been said to two troll groups the Deth2FurfagCoalition or the D2FC and the Anti Furfag Alliance of Awesome. "you will all fall like the FCTC". Looks like the Youtube Furry War has spiced up from this comment and hopefully he and MrDisambiguation can accomplish that.

Okay, this page is full of errors. "The Furry War" is definitely still going between a bunch of furries and persistent trolls. I'm also pretty sure that the channers' campaign against Scientology didn't begin until early 2008.

I'd change it myself, but I don't know much about this sort of thing. All I know is that the trolls are claiming to have evidence of Wolfeedarkfang being a zoophile or something.

It's definitely notable. Many trolls and furries were involved. It was these groups' main focus on YouTube for a period of time. Wolfee and associates created at least one (possibly two or more) "FurryOps" secret forums in which Wolfee, Tamias and their flamewar gang planned to send pizza deliveries to trolls' doorsteps and put child pornography on their computers, among other things. I'm pretty sure one of the trolls even faked his own death. If it doesn't belong here, it should have its own article. This is how it started: Around February or so a troll was conversing with a furry about zoophilia(I think might have been the subject), and the furry came out that they were a zoophile. The troll made a screenshot of the comment and made a YouTube video. Two other trolls picked up on it, if I remember right, and made a vids of their own. Wolfeedarkfang made a Youtube bulletin asking to flag the three users so YT would ban them. That really was the igniter of the flame war you see today. The trolls say they were suspicious to why he would defend a zoophile. Trolls say they Googled Wolfeedarkfang and found an account on a bestiality website by the name of Wolfeedarkfang, registered in 2005. Wolfee says it's a troll account, and that the trolls time hacked the webite to frame him. It had a snowball effect that lasted for I don't know how long. As you see, this has nothing to do with what happened back in late 2007. Okay, this page is full of errors. "The Furry War" is definitely still going between a bunch of furries and persistent trolls. I'm also pretty sure that the channers' campaign against Scientology didn't begin until early 2008.

I'd change it myself, but I don't know much about this sort of thing. All I know is that the trolls are claiming to have evidence of Wolfeedarkfang being a zoophile or something.

Wolfee and associates created at least one (possibly two or more) "FurryOps" secret forums in which Wolfee, Tamias and their flamewar gang planned to send pizza deliveries to trolls' doorsteps and put child pornography on their computers, among other things. I'm pretty sure one of the trolls even faked his own death. If it doesn't belong here, it should have its own article. This is how it started: Around February or so a troll was conversing with a furry about zoophilia(I think might have been the subject), and the furry came out that they were a zoophile. The troll made a screenshot of the comment and made a YouTube video. Two other trolls picked up on it, if I remember right, and made a vids of their own. Wolfeedarkfang made a Youtube bulletin asking to flag the three users so YT would ban them. That really was the igniter of the flame war you see today. The trolls say they were suspicious to why he would defend a zoophile. Trolls say they Googled Wolfeedarkfang and found an account on a bestiality website by the name of Wolfeedarkfang, registered in 2005. Wolfee says it's a troll account, and that the trolls time hacked the webite to frame him. It had a snowball effect that lasted for I don't know how long. As you see, this has nothing to do with what happened back in late 2007. Speaking of Encyclopaedia Dramatica, they have an entirely different take on "the war" and consider the Wolfee situation to be part of it. However I am highly reluctant to use Encyclopaedia Dramatica for research as I do not trust them when it comes to furry matters (or any matters) and the article is edited by trolls. If you are a user of Encyclopaedia Dramatica then you can discuss it there.

I'm still pretty sure that the war didn't end beacuse of the Scientology campaign, that didn't start until 2008. I'm removing that part, but I'll leave the rest in.

Okay, this page is full of errors. "The Furry War" is definitely still going between a bunch of furries and persistent trolls. I'm also pretty sure that the channers' campaign against Scientology didn't begin until early 2008.

I'd change it myself, but I don't know much about this sort of thing. All I know is that the trolls are claiming to have evidence of Wolfeedarkfang being a zoophile or something.

It's definitely notable. Many trolls and furries were involved. It was these groups' main focus on YouTube for a period of time. Wolfee and associates created at least one (possibly two or more) "FurryOps" secret forums in which Wolfee, Tamias and their flamewar gang planned to send pizza deliveries to trolls' doorsteps and put child pornography on their computers, among other things. I'm pretty sure one of the trolls even faked his own death. If it doesn't belong here, it should have its own article. Negative press coverage of the fandom, including articles in which furry convention attendees discussed these and other sexual practices with reporters, as well as their intent to use the conventions to promote their lifestyles, caused further distress amongst those not wishing the fandom as a whole to be associated with such practices. Many originally-prominent members of the fandom left or otherwise sought to hide public knowledge of their involvement with the fandom in order to avoid possible backlash in their personal and professional lives.

It was in this pre-existing atmosphere of mutual intolerance that the debate over the furry fandom's public image was waged, and subsequently buried under rampant acts of (often mutual) demonization. Burned Fur was, if anything, a symptom of the schisms that had been raging in the fandom to that point.

Many disputes over the exact nature of Burned Fur beliefs arose. The group was often accused of wanting to impose some sort of anti-sexual vision on the rest of the fandom despite most members of the organization being gay or bisexual {{fact}}, and many of whom also were creators of furry erotica. Certain members of the group were intolerant of [[gay]]s, [[Christian Furs]], obscure fetishes, and/or [[erotic]] artwork; these were generally held up as [http://groups.google.com/group/alt.fan.furry/msg/9117856b21766d68 examples of overall Burned Fur ideology] by various of the group's opponents. In more general terms, the Burned Furs were intolerant of those people who voluntarily sought public acceptance of unusual [[fetish|kinks]] or ideologies via "grafting" them onto the fandom, especially when those persons used media exposure to further such agendas. The fandom's public image, as Burned Fur saw it, was always a paramount concern {{fact}}.

Throughout the Manifesto, Squee Rat made clear that personal fetishes and unusual lifestyle choices were not a problem if kept as a private matter, in private areas and within the law; she opposed the public flaunting of what most would consider socially-unacceptable behaviors. In particular she derided the small minority of fans who insisted that a person could not be "furry" without, for example, having an "animal spirit" or practicing [[Veganism]].

Many critics considered Burned Fur a hate group due to the Manifesto's harsh tone and the production of a number of t-shirts targeting lifestylers bearing the slogan "I don't have a lifestyle, I have a life".

In the case of the ''Disinformation'' and ''Weekly'' coverage, the focus of the articles was about the sexual fetishes to be found in the fandom, with Burned Fur being mentioned specifically as opposition to these practices. The ''Weekly'' author ended with the hope that the Phillie Phanatic (a sports mascot) would be abducted and gang-raped by fursuiters at a convention. The ''Disinformation'' author concluded his article with the statement that furry fandom "truly has something for everyone...to stare at with a peculiar mixture of horror and intrigue".

The latter author later wrote an article for the ''Greenwich Village Gazette'' attacking certain of the [[Reform Party]]'s Election 2000 candidates, including Burned Fur member [[Scott Malcomson]], who was running for Governor in Arizona. The author also attacked him for roleplaying a unicorn character on [[FurryMuck]] and drawing erotic furry art. In 2003, the author formally renounced statements {{fact}} made in this article to the effect that Burned Fur was "homophobic".

Burned Fur was often accused of threatening and making physical attacks against their opponents, including death threats and sabotaging convention events. For example, Eric Blumrich, one of the original co-founders of the Burned Furs, maintained an "A Bullet to the Back of the Head Enterprises" webpage, which proposed extermination of all plushophiles in the fandom, stating: "Our crack teams of liquor-plied sharpshooters work side-by-side with expert public relations specialists, graft-taking politicians, and a sizeable payola reserve." Burned Fur Scott Malcomson noted that Blumrich "hates, apparently, for the sheer pleasure of hating," and noted Blumrich's extremist attitude was one reason many Burned Fur members left the group.

One known case of a Burned Fur actually threatening an opponent of the movement with harm was the maintainer of the Burned Fur homepage, who in 1998 stated he would "put his head through a wall" if he ever met [[Xydexx]] at a convention. Another Burned Fur member, [[GothTiger]] chimed in and stated he would "like nothing better in the world than to watch mister too-many-consonants get what's coming to him." The Burned Fur who threatened Xydexx formally apologized in May 2004 and stated he'd wished he'd never gotten involved with them.

When Burned Furs weren't making blanket threats against groups of people or members of the opposition, they would even threaten their fellow Burned Furs. One such occurrence took place in September 2001 on the [[Yerf]] newsgroups, when Burned Fur founding member [[Hangdog]] threatened Eric Blumrich on the Yerf newsgroups and was summarily banned: "[http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Talk:Eric_Blumrich The next time I see you I will kill you with my bare hands]."

As soon as Burned Fur launched, it was subjected to harsh criticism. The most extreme example of this occurred on alt.fan.furry in February 1999 with [[Furry_Jihad]]'s statement "You know about the Six Shallow Graves - how it's said that all of fandom's problems could be solved if we found the right people to fill those 6 graves? Seems to me we need about 26 now, so we could fill them with all of the Burned Furs." Only one of Burned Fur's detractors posted comments which could be considered supportive of the statement. Most forum regulars, including Burned Fur Scott Malcomson, considered it an "obvious troll."

Some of the opposition joined a group called [[Freezing Furs]], which considered Burned Fur a hate group. Other opposition groups included [[Nonaligned Furs]] and [[Furry Peace]], which were formed on the basis of inclusion and non-alignment in the factional conflicts. Aside from producing websites and link buttons meant to indicate solidarity amongst members, none of these groups are known for having done anything specific to advance any particular agenda.

Burned Fur eventually became a liability and public relations nightmare for anyone involved with them. For example, many fans stopped attending [[ConFurence]] after [[Darrel Exline]] took over specifically due to rumors that it was a Burned Fur con—a rumor which was bolstered by remarks from Burned Fur members [[Hangdog]] and [[Mitch Marmel]]. Other fans decided not to patronize artists who had joined Burned Fur, as they understandably didn't want to see their money going to people who wanted to make them feel unwelcome in furry fandom.

Toward the end, Burned Fur was losing members as fast as they were gaining them. Most former Burned Fur members have distanced themselves as far as possible from the group to avoid the stigma it continues to carry even today, and many understandably do not want even their names to be associated with having been members. By about 2001, the Burned Furs had faded into history, many of them having [[Leave The Fandom|left furry fandom]] altogether, and the countergroups formed to oppose them became defunct by default.

'''''Badly Drawn Kitties''''', also known as '''BDK''', is an online [[furry]] [[web comic]] created by Mat Sherer, which, as the title suggests, features [[cat]]s and is, in theory, badly drawn; however, the artist himself admits it is not as badly drawn as it once was.

Originally the entire subject of the site, it has now become a monthly strip within its own subdirectory when BDK (the site) switched to a resource [[Blog]], created on October 2005.

== Premise ==

The comic stars a couple of [[anthropomorphic]] [[cat]]s named Lucy and Lydia, who share an apartment in the fictional country of New Talia, a small island nation off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. An adult-themed comic, sex plays a major role in many strips, whether it is actually occurring, implied, or the subject of a joke. There is nudity in the comic, but due to the simplistic art it is not very graphic. Recently, the comic has focused less on sex, but it is still an important part of the comic.

The comic has had various release schedules in its run, but is currently updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Keenspace permitting.

==The New Talian Idol Incident==

''New Talian Idol'' is a parody of ''[[Wikipedia:American Idol|American Idol]]'' and is the closest thing to an epic story to appear in BDK; of all plot lines and story arcs in BDK, this was the biggest and affected the most people.

===New Talian Idol===

In late 2002/early 2003, ''Sonica Magazine'' signed a deal with ''New Reality Studios'' to produce a home-grown version of ''American Idol''. On January 21, 2003, Desi gives the assignment of hosting ''New Talian Idol'' to venom-tongued critic Lucy, who utterly despises ''American Idol'', thinking she'd be the perfect [[Wikipedia:Simon Cowell|Simon Cowell]]-esque host.

On March 17, 2003, Lucy arrives on the set of ''New Talian Idol'', and meets the two people that she and Desi are working with. '''Buck''' is the producer and is so vain that he thinks every girl secretly wants to make out with him, constantly joking with lines like "Sorry, but I'm already married." '''Jack''' is Lucy's co-host, and is attracted to Lucy, but he has a nasty habit of saying things that he thinks are compliments, but are actually insulting.

:At this point, the comic drones on about some other stuff, primarily flashbacks from Lucy to delay the continuation of ''New Talian Idol''.

On May 19, 2003, Lucy returns to the set for taping of ''New Talian Idol'', were she is confronted with Buck and Jack again; sadly her annoyance over the whole deal is quite pronounced, making her seem like the perfect "Simon Cowell". She goes to Lydia for help and gets a makeover, trying to act nicer. When it seems that Jack is coming on to her, she tells him she's a lesbian, but he seems unphased; worse, it draws even more unwanted attention from Buck. This leads to her changing her story and saying she has a boyfriend, and uses Dirk to try and throw Buck and Jack off; but Dirk acts a little too cozy with Lucy and Lydia accuses him of philandering. All this fails, and Buck simply uses it to promote Lucy as a lesbian caricature on the show.

During the show, Lucy realizes that the only way out of this is to simply daydream and ignore the show completely. Buck mentions to Desi that Lucy doesn't seem as volatile as she described, but Desi says that the next act will bring out the worst in her. The next song is the most horrible thing in the world, [[Wikipedia:My Heart Will Go On|that dreaded Céline Dion song from Titanic]].

:After a brief repose to celebrate Canada Day and Independence Day, we return to ''New Talian Idol'' where...

Lucy goes totally off the deep end. She berates the whole show for taking people who may have real talent and squandering it on useless pop tunes; she blasts Jack for constantly eying her and Buck for his egotistical delusions, then storms off to her dressing room promising a hairspray enema to the first person she sees. That person happens to be Desi, who orders Lucy to go back out there, saying that it's just another assignment and is part of her job at Sonica, ignorant of the can of hairspray Lucy is now shaking. When Desi tells her to do the show or she's fired, Lucy leaves, giving Desi the payback she deserves.

As a result, Lucy loses her job, and reluctantly goes to Zig Zag looking for another job; thankfully getting one that doesn't involve what she is or isn't wearing. Dirk and Lydia break-up over the incident where he and Lucy pretended to be lovers. Meanwhile Sonica is left footing the bill over ''New Talian Idol'', and is forced to pay damages to ''New Reality Studios'' for breaching their contract.

===Aftermath===

April 27, 2004, Lucy receives a notice in the mail that she is being sued 1.5 million New Talian Dollars—roughly 900,000 USD according to Lola—because she walked out on ''New Talian Idol'', and Sonica was left to foot the damages. It turns out Sonica was bought by a company called Ranntech, and its owner, Vincent Rann is looking to make as much money off it as possible. When Lucy mentions it to Zig Zag, she gets her lawyer to look into it; apparently Zig Zag had a run in with Rann and would love to tie his legal knickers in a knot. The meeting with the lawyer goes well, and Lucy counter sues Sonica on grounds of wrongful dismissal.

Knowing that Lucy is in the right and would likely win the suit, Mr. Rann's lawyer comes up with a solution: if they both drop their lawsuits, Sonica hires Lucy back as an editor; that way she's working for Rann and making him money, or if she steps out of line he can fire her legitimately. Meanwhile, Desi gets punished for causing the whole fiasco.

In the end, Lucy gets the job she wanted, but she is now in the sights of Vincent Rann, who is waiting for a chance to trip her up. Desi despises working under Lucy, but eventually gets a new job, hosting the new ''New Talian Idol''; Lucy thinks this is fitting punishment, not realizing there are people who like the Idol concept. Also, Lucy finds out that Jezzebel works in Sonica's mail room; soon after, they start dating.

==Recent Changes==

* Lucy and Lydia became—or filed to become—New Talian citizens on November 3, 2004, in response to the reelection of George W. Bush as president of the United States; up to that point they were still American citizens. It's an obvious spoof of liberals and Democrats who threatened to move to Canada if Bush was reelected.

* Fisk was killed in Iraq. Sheila received a $3 million insurance payoff; she gave half to Lucy and is planning to move to New Talia.

* Lucy tries her hand in the professional wrestling circuit as a wrestler's girlfriend, whose bit is to kick guys in the crotch; her wrestling name is ''Monica Sweet''. The promoter fires her when he feels there's no place for her, prompting Lucy to kick one last guy in the crotch.

* A teaser image suggests Lola will soon return to BDK after Amber turned her into a succubus; but a cryptic message doesn't tell us if she's returning to normal, or if she's returning to the badly drawn style.

I just thought I'd leave some comments concerning the revamp I've given the BritFur FM article. The information that was previously on it was out-of-date and hadn't been kept fresh for a few months, in which time various things have happened both in the number of shows disappearing and behind the scenes. With BritFur.FM now slowly getting back on its paws, with a fresh website made and stabilisation of the shows, I felt the wiki fur article also needed to go through extensive change. The schedule is now a wiki table; easier to update instead of the impractical photo.

The list of shows and staff has been removed in favour of having that information section underneath the first paragraph detailing links, staff and responsibilities, while underneath the timetable there is now a series of tables containing information about the shows. I've kept the information brief, I justify having the information there as it is informative and give readers a summed up knowledge of what each show is about. There was also presentation value, the information is both tidy and easy to soak in.

This won't be the last of the updating, I'll probably be looking to write up a little bit of history of the station over the last year for informative reasons and to add references.

So... what do you have in mind dare I ask?

I don't particularly see what splitting is needed, though if I hazard a guess it's probably to do with giving each show its own article. I don't see it as neccessary because apart from TigerTails Radio (whom already have a large wiki article), all the other shows would have short stub articles. As BritFur.FM is an umbrella operation, I see it as sensible for the article to contain a summary of each shows it hosts.

I am with you on the matter that the ''BritFur.FM'' article '''does not''' require a split and/or disambiguations for each and every radio show, seeing that like you said, each show (in exception to TigerTails Radio) would only contain a bit of information that pertains to the description of that broadcast. On the other hand however, there are many other articles like that on the subject of authors and cartoonists such as Scott Ramsoomair (the creator of VG Cats) and Mat Sherer & Kat Smith (creators of BDK, Badly Drawn Kittens) that contains vague to little data about the individual, so I cannot see why these radio shows cannot have articles of their own that have the same amount of information likewise. This character is portrayed as a rather ragged green [[rabbit]] in rags, wielding a scythe much akin to the various incarnations of the [[Wikipedia:Death (personification)|Grim Reaper]].

The comic centers around decidedly mature themes in one form or another, most notably in the visual artistic form. It also prominently features Hell, as demonstrated by the third strip in the debut arc which allowed Fnar to meet his mother, restrained to a cave wall with the rock actually encompassing her right leg and holding her arms as if it were eating her. The mature themes of the comic are made quite plain at that time, as the woman bore a stab wound under her left ribs near the stomach and also had her throat slashed. The blood from these wounds is still dripping in the scenes, and Fnar himself looked grisly as he was "aged" by Jack in stages to the age of a preteen boy.

''Jack'''s plot bounces around quite often, but it remains true to the Hell theme for the most part. On occasion, strips are published which pertain to real world events, like the ''Angry Brian'' story arc which depicted events similar to those of the horrific [[Wikipedia:Columbine High School massacre|Columbine High School Massacre]]. Other features of the comic include the appearance of real places like the former [[Wikipedia:World Trade Center|World Trade Center]] that was destroyed in the infamous and very tragically devastating terrorist attacks of [[Wikipedia:September 11, 2001 attacks|9/11]]. It should be noted that the ''Angry Brian'' story arc sparked heavy feedback from the readers and was what earned the comic a large reader base.

Similarly, ''Jack'' features Heaven (as you might expect) as well as angels. These two forces do not fight each other much in the comic; in fact, for the most part they appear to work together without any major problems, although this may be due to the focus on Jack, the most amenable of [[Wikipedia:Seven deadly sins|Sins]]. Some arcs do take place in the mortal world, in which both sides occasionally find themselves, usually revolving around Jack's job as Grim Reaper.

In all, the comic can be morbid, but it has its tender moments and optimistic highlights. Not all the characters of the comic are doomed to Hell for eternity. They all have a chance to eventually live on Earth again in new forms as a test to see if they have "learned" from their previous life's mistakes. If so, they are admitted to heaven. The mature themes of the comic are made quite plain at that time, as the woman bore a stab wound under her left ribs near the stomach and also had her throat slashed.
