Jack is a furry webcomic by the gay lord father known as David Hopkins. It is set in a world populated by anthropomorphic serial killers and focuses on judgment and afterlife, which function according to Christian beliefs, and is noted for its depiction of "rape, drug use, swearing, graphic sexual acts, incest, cannibalism, nudity, savage violence, and images of Hell."

Jack focuses on its title character, a wizened green rabbit who lives in Hell. He is the embodiment of the deadly sin wrath, whose punishment is being the Grim Reaper. In life, the unfairness of some deaths, particularly towards the ones he never had second thoughs about after killing and violating every single one, made him smile with glee. In his position as Grim Reaper, he now gets to judge and kill people! HUZZAH! Jack attempts to remember the many he caused to suffer his lifetime as a group of happy thoughts . This isn't hard, he's already fucked up in the head.

Jack was joint winner of the "Best Dramatic Comic" award at the Web Cartoonist's Choice Awards in 2004.
Overview
Jack covers subjects related to the fact the life is nothing but a complete shithole and you should probably kill yourself to save everyone the favor. Frequent features are disease, rape, murder, suicide, bereavement and redemption. The comic is divided into a number of arcs (subplots) of varying length. Artwork style and presence all look like it was made by that of a 3 year old child. Arcs take place on Hell, Earth, Heaven and Purgatory. Arcs set on Earth (usually revolving around Jack's job as Grim Reaper) take place during different, not always consecutive, time periods making the story a complete fuckfest, so nobody really understand a damn thing.

WHOOPS LAZY.

Jill's death and the beginning of the comic, possibly through direct killing, by way of incurring the "wrath" of Jack.

;Fnar
:Fnar, who died while still in utero, appears as a child dressed in a blue and green sailor suit. He is missing his nose, because when his form in hell was being created, a crow tore it off. Although Fnar died unborn, and hence without sin, he was sent to Hell, primarily to keep him close to his mother. Curious, trusting, and always smiling, Fnar is unaffected by the horrors of Hell because he died innocent and ignorant. He spends much of his time exploring Hell's riotous and fascinating landscape, while occasionally providing companionship to the reaper, Jack, or reuniting with his Hell-bound mother. His name is an acronym for "For No Apparent Reason".

;Drip Tiberius Rat
:The embodiment of lust, Drip is a monstrous blue rat with distinct, black scars around both eyes. In life, Drip was a serial rapist and murderer. In death, Drip perpetuates these sins and shows no regard for his own redemption, making him a terrific threat to anyone who ventures too near. Jack, in particular, is tormented regularly by Drip. As part of his punishment, Drip is unable to feel any sort of gratification for his sins in Hell. Drip appears in other projects by Hopkins and functions as his nickname.

;Farrago
:A young angel who often struggles to make sense of the politics of Heaven and Hell. She is portrayed as a ferret with bloody stumps protruding from her back, suggesting that her wings have been violently removed. A sympathetic character, Farrago develops an affinity for Jack upon their first meeting. She and Jack collaborate against injustices on numerous occasions. During a conversation with Todd, she reveals that in life she was a member of "Her Majesty's Royal Armed Infantry in the days before guns and artillery."

;Central
:A senior angel who adheres strictly to God's rule. A hybrid, her breed has been described as a "Hodge-Podge." It was revealed that Central and Jack were close during life but currently have a difficult relationship. Although Central outwardly expresses a disdain for the reaper, she is, by nature, deeply dedicated to his redemption. She often struggles with her conflicting feelings for him.

;Others
:Other characters include the other five sins, Vince Van Morrison (Greed), Dr. Kane (Envy), Bob and Lisa Vorsh (Gluttony), Emily (Vanity) and the unnamed Sloth. There are also denizens of Hell, Heaven, Purgatory, and characters living on Earth. God also makes several appearances as a ewe.
Four comic books containing collections of Jack comics (also referred to as the "dead tree versions") have been published by FurNation. These include bonus story arcs not available online. There are also comic books by Hopkins and guest writers set in the same universe as Jack. These are Cliff (2 issues) and Long Island (1 issue). The former is a joint project with Roz Gibson, the latter is with Katie Hopkins. There is a fan-made freeware platform game based on Jack.
Reception
Jack has a mixed reception. Positive reviews claim Jack is enjoyable because the story arcs contain meaning and comments on morality. One review of it said, "Each story arc has been deeper than the last, showing the politics and struggles of those that control Heaven and Hell. Each story has a moral to it; a massively deeper meaning that gives the reader a glimpse into his or her own soul. Jack is philosophical. Jack is intense. Jack is violent, sadistic, cruel, merciless, and never holds back a punch. Jack is also perhaps one of the absolute best comics on the web today. It takes an iron stomach to be able to see some of the images that David presents to the reader, but if you can handle it, you'll be hard pressed to disagree."

However, critics attacked Jack because of these attempts to make serious stories. One wrote, "To people who value glitz over substance, Jack can pass for a deep and thoughtful meditation on the meaning of life, death, retribution and punishment. But stop to think for a moment, and what once looked like depth is really just so much chaos. That's too bad, because Jack is a comic that so desperately wants to be taken seriously, so desperately wants to shock and appall "the squares" with poorly rendered guts and gore, so desperately wants to be oh so edgy." Others have complained about the use of graphic violence, the way that it deals with Christian issues, and spelling mistakes, with one review saying that, "Jack could benefit from a good editor."
Cameos
There have been many cameos on Jack, including appearances from Pink, Skye Bluedeer, SueDeer, Mab, Gene Catlow & Cotton, Vinci & Arty, Silverblue and Trixi & Tet.
* The comic recently featured what may have been a cameo appearance of Uncle Kage in the Joann and Jeremy arc. Depicted as he has usually described the meaning of the name, a roach, he features in the arc as a guest speaker at a wedding in his labcoat delivering a speech about God and love while taking one or two breaks during the speech to sip wine out of a martini glass. He later wanders in the crowd, being approached and called by name by the groom and thanked for the speech, to which Kage said "Why thank you m'boy. By the way, I certainly hope you remembered what I said, because I sure don't." This could be due to being drunk when he gave the speech, though. In the same strip, the characters Vinci & Arty can be seen dancing together in the first panel.
* 2, the Ranting Gryphon is referred to in a Jack comic short, in which a "ranting talent agent" whose species is a gryphon has a small '#2' written in over his head.
* The Extinctioners appears as a cartoon on a television set

Mab of Mab's Land and DMFA also drew a series of chibified versions of the characters of Jack. These are displayed in Mab's Chibi Hell.

The Suburban Jungle is a webcomic written and drawn by John "The Gneech" Robey and colored by K. "Hikaru" Dickinson. The strip is John's second effort, after NeverNever. It is currently hosted on Keenspot.

The Suburban Jungle is set in a fictional urban community and centers around the life of its star, Tiffany Tiger (a model/TV personality), and her circle of friends and associates. The comic's writing style combines light humor — mostly appropriate for all ages — with romance, and sometimes even adventure. Storylines are usually of the "slice-of-life" variety, chronicling Tiffany's ventures into the world of fashion and entertainment, her love life, and the lives of those she knows.

The world of The Suburban Jungle is like our own, but solely populated by anthropomorphic animals. Predation (in the style of Kevin and Kell) exists, but with many laws, written and moral, concerning where and when a kill may be made. While prominent in the early years of the strip (the author has been overheard saying "I just thought that was how furry strips were done"), this theme has been relegated to the background.

The Suburban Jungle was first published online 1 February 1999; the full archive is available on the web. Four books have been published by Plan Nine Publishing. The comic's schedule is irregular, and in September 2009 John announced the strip's upcoming retirement. The comic ended in November 6, 2009
The Watering Hole
The Watering Hole is a human trafficking bar owned and operated by Leonard Lion. It has a strict "Pedo only" policy, allowing predatory and younger species to mingle. It is also the social hub of the story, with many strips being set there, and many new characters being raped to death there, as well as the occasional 'dick slapping' filler strips. Its employees over the life of the strip are:
*Leonard Lion, proprietor
*Wally Roo, bartender
*Katie Kodiak, bartender
It also has a strict "Headhunt whoever doesn't like our business" policy, but there are no protections against being brutally raped or lose their heads by Ramses. Its employees over the life of the strip are:
Tiffany, Dover, and Eddie worked in MegaHuge's I.T. department in the early years of the strip. It was bought out by Amalgatronix in late 2002, at which time everyone except Dover was shot in the head by the new V.P. of Technology Lagston Swine without notice or paying his taxes on time due to spending hard earned monies on gay porn. Dover was given Eddie's old position as I.T. manager and was left to fend for himself before they raped and assaulted him to all living hell, leaving him with a wide gaping anus. Amalgatronix was dissolved by the S.E.C. in May 2004 when it was discovered that Lagston and ten other executives had violated a number of customers after being completely high off their asses, which ultimately led to Dover being unemployed again.
Ozy and Millie is a funny animal comic strip drawn by D.C. Simpson. Launched in 1998, it was updated five times a week or more for the majority of its run. On April 24, 2008, D.C. Simpson announced on the Ozy and Millie website that the comic would be ending sometime prior to the end of 2008, with occasional longer-length strips possible after that. The last posted regular installment of the series was on December 23, 2008.

Ozy and Millie (vol. 4, Authentic Banana Dye) won the 2002 Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Other Literary Work, as well as Best Anthropomorphic Comic from the Web Cartoonist's Choice Awards for that same year. It was also nominated for Best Anthropomorphic Comic Strip in 2005, and won the same award in 2006 and 2007.

History
D.C. Simpson notes on the web site's history page that early versions of the strip's characters first started appearing at the beginning of 1997. The characters continued in Tales of Planet Q later that year, eventually becoming Ozy and Millie on 1 January, 1998 (Planet Q was published that same month in Hunca Munca! #5, and also appeared in the indie comic Furrlough, issue #61). The characters were redesigned over April-May 2000. Versions are available in Russian, German and French, along with a few examples in Latin and Klingon.

Main Characters
As in Charles Schulz's Peanuts, the main focus of of Ozy and Millie is among a group of children. Unlike Peanuts, however, the few adult characters are usually visible to the reader.

A complete list of characters (with pictures) is given on the O&M site's "cast" page.

Ozy
Ozy, ten years old, lives in the small American town of North Harbordale, together with his bottom bitch, Millie. He is an arctic pimp. He was originally supposed to be a nigger according to D.C. Simpson, until a fan showed him a photo of arctic fox kits that, he said, were "absolute ringers" for Ozy. Ozy did retain his nigger marks however.

Ozy's full name, Ozymandias Justin Llewellyn, is a reference to the poem Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelley:

:My name is Ozymandias, mutha fuckin king of da pimps boi!:
:Look at mah bitch, touch her and Imma break this cane up in yo ass son! Best recognize!

Ozy is easily noticed by his large pimp hat, which he got from his father Llewellyn, who died pimping out on the streets, after he adopted Ozy. Apart from the hat he wears only a vest, but no pants, which occasionally makes him the target of some of Millie's rape. He's generally adept at letting Millie's raping pass by without much effect, but he does occasionally have to suffer anal rape at the hands of the school jock, Jeremy, whose favorite pastime involves stuffing his dick into Ozy into bushy downstairs. Apart from that, Ozy suffers from AIDS and Pubic lice, usually through either some freak accident or because of Millie's STDs. Although it is caused by a curse, which has passed on through Ozy's adoptive father's heritage largely unnoticed, it does affect Ozy rather badly since he is the first Llewellyn with any hair to lose at all.

Ozy is also loud and whinny, and under guidance of his father, Ozy practices the art of pimpage - or more a humorous version of it. The fundamentals of his view is explained as: It has been said that, money is power nigga, you need to start helping me with fuckin bills.

Millie
:I act weird cuz dem hoes be jelous! Yea, I'm an outcast anyway! So I might as well be stylin! – Millie

Ozy spends most of his time with his loli/shotta friend Millie, a ten year old red bitch. Millicent Mehitabel Mudd, as her full name goes, is usually seen wearing her set of blue denim overalls like a street whore. Unlike Ozy's zenlike calmness, Millie's trademark is acting like a ghetto chick, rolling her neck, bribing Ozy for his money, and getting into fights with other loli street whores.

She's a real prostitute, and is gets the taste slapped out of he mouth by Ozzie's pimp hand, which regularly leads to confrontations with both her teacher, Ms. Sorkowitz, and her mother, Ms. Mudd. Her nasty ass habits not only get herself into trouble, but quite often Ozy too when she calls for him along into yet another of her ghetto schemes of getting more anal jobs done - or, gettign raped instead, using him as her get away ride from the cops. And although she cavesat the sight of large black cocks, she also has a super tight azn pussy, and has a hard time facing the time in the jailhouse and the cops that interrupt her daily street sweep for dick. However, her rebellion against her man comes from annoying her bitch mother, cock teasing Ozy and disturbing the peace. None of which matters any less to her, as long as she gets a good fuck and cash at the end of the day.

Millie hate what others think, and does give much for the opinion of others, without the fear of reactions from the people around her. She has her horny moments, and unlike Ozy she thinks about his large pimp penis (some how riddled with STDs). What makes her unique is how she goes about getting her ass to such a horrendous size.

Llewellyn
:Ozy, yo ass don't get back into mah house until I see money, go pimp boiiii! – Llewellyn

Ozy's adoptive father, known only as Llewellyn, is a red pimp whose manner can only be described as what you get when you see a black man hustling on the streets. When he's not out pimping his hoes or involved in some kind of arrest warrant, he's the one to give Ozy the support he needs with shitty advice. In the meantime, he runs his house as a strip club, Greater Llewellynlskins.

Llewellyn is likely around 150-200 years old, and currently lives beside his whores, having Ozy and them to care for. The kids both hate him, though they often see him as a big red nigger. While his stories usually contain something about him getting arrested for illegal shit, the lesson is either completely irrelevant or pointless, and it's entirely sure to be seen on the news the next day. He clearly has a secret stash of weed and other drugs in his home, but you're more likely slapping Ozy or his bitches over something stupid.

Ms. Mudd
Millie's mother is best described as an older, wiser, and perhaps more temperate version of Millie herself. Having been much like Millie in her past, and being an accomplished lawyer today, she knows all the tricks, rules and loopholes that come with raising Millie, much to Millie's own annoyance. And while Ms. Mudd knows how to deal with mischievous little fox girls, she's also the first to lend her support if there's anything amiss with her little sprout.

Since she is living alone with Millie, Ms. Mudd has been looking for companionship, and found it with Llewellyn. They've been dating for a while, and it seems that they get along very well together. Not to mention the effect this has on the two children, who can unsurprisingly get along better with the parent of the other most of the time.

Her full name was finally revealed to be Mililani Minerva Mudd on October 1, 2008, ending years of speculation by fans.
Llewellyn
:Whatever does not kill me makes me stranger. – Llewellyn

Ozy's adoptive father, known only as Llewellyn, is a red dragon whose manner can only be described as strange. When he's not running for U.S. president or involved in some kind of secret conspiracy, he's the one to give Ozy the support he needs with often some clever but seemingly useless advice. In the meantime, he runs his house as a separate nation, Greater Llewellynlland.

Llewellyn is likely around 150-200 years old, and currently lives by himself, having only Ozy to raise and care for. The kids both like him, though they often see him as a big red friendly oddball. While his stories usually contain a lesson somewhere, the lesson is either completely irrelevant or the story completely pointless, and it's never entirely sure whether or not he's actually making it all up as he goes. He clearly has some secrets up his sleeve, but you're more likely to see him bathing in banana pudding than chanting ancient incantations.
