Started in 2001, it was supposed to consist of 12 or 13 volumes; however it stopped after the eight volume, published in late 2002, due to K-9 moving at the other side of the country from the rest of the creative team.

The comic follows characters Marty, Arthur, Douglas, Paulie, Taye and Ken and their daily lives. The first four issues focus on Marty and his way out of the closet and towards his first love, while later issues develop the other characters.Circles is published by Rabbit Valley and is available through their website.

In 2012, the creators announced that Circles would finally be completed under the novel form by Domanski and French. K-9, who will provide the cover and some illustrations, stated in 2014 that the project is progressing well, with most of the writing complete.

According to one of the creators, Circles will continue on. Episode 9 is currently in production. Below is a update posted by k-9.

"I wanted to share a sneak peek of how things are coming along with Circles.

I figured this is a good image to share that gives away no plot lines.

Working 100% digital this time. Trying to keep the feel of the comics, and putting in more time and detail I was unable to before. Trying to keep it familiar while moving forward visually.

The book is trucking along slowly. I have most of the pages thumbnailed and many of them already sketched out and different levels of inked etc etc.

More updates to come as things progress but for now things are truckin ahead.
Cruelty is a comic created, written, and drawn by Rukis. The story is a gay-themed drama following the story of Marcus, a gay fennec, and his best friend Reis, a heterosexual wolfdog who discovers that he felt in love with Marcus.

At 44 pages, Rukis considered this a "practice comic". However, it sold out within the first day of the Anthrocon 2010, and Rukis went on to create a sequel, Unconditional. Set years later, it depicts the everyday life of Reis and Marcus, now in couple. Unconditional debuted as a webcomic in 2011 and finished the following year, concluding the story of Reis and Marcus. However a printed edition was released, featuring an exclusive epilogue.

She also released a three-page short comic commission entitled Partners, taking place after the events of Unconditionnal.
History
History of Fur Affinity
Fur Affinity was launched on 16 January 2005 as an alternative to SheezyArt, with the forum going live on that date and the main site being transferred a few days later from FurPawz. Since then, it has suffered a few outages, most notably a month-long downtime over July 2008, but always managed to recover. In 2011, Fur Affinity announced a major revamp in connection to FA: United 4.

Fur Affinity: United!
FA: United
In August 2007, Fur Affinity held its own furry convention, Fur Affinity: United! (or FA:U) in Newark, New Jersey. The convention was a success, drawing 310 attendees and 25 fursuiters in the parade, and was followed by another in 2008, drawing 381 attendees. In February 2009, Dragoneer announced FA: United 3 "Games United" for 28-30 May 2010. No event was scheduled for 2009 due to the economic downturn.

Features and rules
Fur Affinity's features for users include the ability to allow users to track new updates from particular artists; highlight favorites; and upload a wide variety of art (images, music and stories). The site attempts to promote community through its comments system and individual journals.

While works of all ratings are accepted (other than photographic nudes, images whose intent are to slander or discredit others, and minors in sexual situations), art rated as mature or adult is not shown to visitors, or to users who have not specified it as a preference (which requires giving a date of birth indicating an age over 18). Keywords and tags can be added to works, though a feature that allowed blocking based on tags was disabled due to performance issues.

Fur Affinity's search engine was "temporarily disabled" in mid-2006 due to it taking up too many resources. A faux search feature was implemented for April Fool's Day 2007, much to the chagrin of some users. Search was reimplemented on 5 February 2009; it was initially labelled "That Thing You Want" and randomly included rickrolls.

Privacy features were added in May 2012 with users being able to block guests from seeing their content with messages such as "[username] has elected to make their content available to registered users only" and being able to hide their adult, mature+adult or all favorites from public view.
Mascots
Fender is the Fur Affinity mascot. He was primarily created by artist K-9, based upon a character concept by Preyfar. He is half fox and half ferret, commonly referring to himself as a 'ferrox'.
On April Fool's Day 2007, Fender was depicted in the site's banner as a busty female dragon, still wearing the trademark blue tie. This dragon was made a separate character from Fender and an official mascot of the site in May 2007, and named Rednef, or "Fender" spelled backwards.

Fender was displayed as a three-toed sloth for April Fools' Day 2008. So far this sloth form has yet to become an official character.

Criticisms
Unreferenced-section
FurAffinity is largely criticized in the fandom for a variety of reasons, ranging from what users see as general incompetence among the entire staff to the absence of what many consider "modern" features that a website such as FurAffinity should have.

Other criticisms include alleged favoritism between popular artists/high-profile fandom figures and the site administration, Cronyism among site staff, and the administration's general disregard of the userbase, failing to make important announcements (such as downtime or entering "read only mode").

The communication problems eventually lead to a disgruntled user creating a parody Twitter account called FurAffinityPR.
Faux Pas (pronounced /ˈfɒkspɔːz/ - "fox paws") is a comic strip created by Robert and Margaret Carspecken of R&M Creative Endeavors. The name is a play on the French phrase faux pas (/ˌfoʊ ˈpɑː/), a social blunder (literally, false step), reflecting the demeanor of the strip's characters. The story focuses on the daily life of two Red Foxes named Randy and Cindy and their friends, living all together in a farm.

rating-g-button2
Faux Pas originally appeared in newspaper spot illustrations and one-panel gags in Boulder, Colorado in the late 1970's. The strips and various incarnations of the characters have appeared in newspapers, newsletters, fanzines, comic books, APAs, and art shows since then, but it wasn't until 2001 that they were organized into a coherent series, redrawn by the artists, although utilizing scripts that had been written in the 1980's.

A book based on the comic was published in October 2003 by Plan Nine Publishing, and while it sold well while it was in print, the book's run was plagued by printing and production problems and was frequently out of stock. The Carspeckens' contract with Plan Nine ended in September 2005, and the book is now out of print, with limited quantities remaining sold by the Carspeckens at various conventions.

Faux Pas won the 2004 and 2005 Ursa Major Award for "Best Anthropomorphic Comic Strip".

Plot summary
The comic takes place at the fictional Green Mountain Studio Animals, a run-down farm in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Randy and the majority of his friends there are semi-retired animal actors. Although the humans in the series are rarely seen, the animals know that it is to their owners that they owe their existence. The animal characters are anthropomorphic in the sense of having human language and intelligence, but are non-bipedal, effectively similar in anatomy to "normal" animals. Despite this, they often do things outside of normal animal anatomy, such as holding things with their paws, in a manner similar to the All Dogs Go to Heaven films and cartoons.

Randy started his life in a pet shop, mistaken for a dog with an odd odor. He soon ended up living at GMSA alongside the other animals who were regularly auditioned for a variety of public appearances, such as photos, movies, and television. In spite of being raised in captivity, he found himself in a series of odd predicaments arising from the confusion over his species. He learned to rely on the friendship of some of other animals, including Myrtle DeHen, the ditzy secretary hen. But when GMSA was sold to new owners, Randy found himself sharing the place with dozens of cats (one hundred and forty-four), led by Kira Cat, who took him for a big-time cat-toy, even though he was sometimes helped out by the other animal residents.

Then Cindy entered the picture. As a wild-born vixen, she met Randy (while he was on a walk one day with Myrtle in tow), and was soon taken for the tamest ride of her life, finding how Randy lives being raised by humans. Cindy was attracted to Randy, but it turned be a rather odd, funny relationship. Having grown up in the wild where she learned to rely on her natural instincts, Cindy would find it a crazy challenge to get acquainted and develop friendships with the fellow animal residents at GMSA (who until then she would have regarded as meals), all to please Randy. For his part, Randy makes a deal with the cats, led by Kira, to leave Cindy alone, unaware that Cindy is quite capable of dealing with them on her own.

Cindy finds the relationship quite rewarding as opportunities arise from time to time for Randy to share with her some of the things that happen at GMSA. In return, Cindy teaches Randy and some of the others how to use their instincts to help them survive in the wilderness. As confusing as it may be living wild and domesticated, there's never a dull moment with either of these foxes. One question that remains unanswered is whether they'll ever mate and have fox-kits. For her part, Cindy has stated that she considers him worth waiting for, even if it takes years. In the meantime, she has found a vent of sorts for her maternal urges by coaching the young bunnies in the art of survival (albeit with highly limited success). Randy remains hesitant, although he has stated that he always figured he'd have a family someday, "like The Jetsons." However, the matter may be brought to the forefront by the appearance of Cindy's sneaky and seductive cousin Dusk, who becomes the series' primary antagonist. Cruel and manipulative, she is willing to stoop to virtually any means to get what she wants-which, according to Cindy, is usually whatever she (Cindy) has at the moment.

Characters
; Animals on the farm
* Randy Fox, a red fox. He is semi-retired animal actor raised by humans who lives with all his friends in a run-down farm.
* Cindy, a red vixen from the wild who meets Randy and falls in love with him. She soon moved to the farm.
* Myrtle DeHen, a hen. She is the unbearable, soap opera-addict secretary of the farm.
* Stu Rabbit, a rabbit. He is Randy's resourceful best friend, and also a talented magician.
* Eddie Rabbit, and Stu's hot-tempered wife. They have fifty-three childrens together (including those they had during the comic).
* Kira Cat, a white and grey cat. She is the leader of the 144 cats who moved to the farm at the very beginning of the comic. Like most of them, she likes to trap Randy regularly.
* Brisbane Wallaroo, a kangaroo.
* Arthur Horse, a horse who wears glasses.
* Toast, a yellow cat. In the story, he is originally a unnamed cat obsessed with trapping Randy who unintentionally becomes Dusk's "spy" and is forced to help her in her plans to seduce Randy. However, he then becomes friend with the main characters.
* Penny Rabbit, the daughter of Stu and Eddie and the oldest of their childrens. She meets Jon around the farm and they fall in love together. She is obsessed by ponies.
* Jon, a rabbit from the wild and Penny's love interest. He moved to the farm to live with her after their meeting. However he decided decided that they would leave the farm once they would be married, before starting a family.
* April, a red vixen and Randy's sister who moves to the farm late in the comic. She has three kits: two daughters, Amber and Ember, and a son, Leaf.

;Other characters
* Dusk, a red vixen and Cindy's cousin, always in conflict with her. She is also attracted by Randy and is constantly trying to seduce him, even against his will. Living near the farm, she terrifies all the other animals.
* Cocky, a French cockatoo. He is able to speak English and be understood by humans, (albeit with a thick French accent) whom Myrtle brings in out of frustration at being unable to communicate the needs of herself and the other animals to the humans they live and work with.
* Thor the Field Mouse, a mouse living close to the farm who refers to himself in the third person. He 'demands atonement' for misdeeds against him and his family committed by the cats and Dusk (whom Thor briefly mistakes Cindy for). His name is taken from the eponymous god of the norse mythology.
* Al and Randy, two raccoons who met Randy on several occasions. Randy is obsessed with being a famous actor. They are stepbrothers.
* Birdy, a avian from the wild. She is Cindy's oldest friend.

* Brisbane Wallaroo, a kangaroo.

* Dusk, a red vixen and Cindy's cousin. She is also attracted by Randy and is constantly trying to seduce him, even against his will. Always in conflict with her cousin, she terrifies all the other animals.
Red Lantern is a four part graphic novel series created, written andco-drawn by artist Rukis. Rukis began writing the series in 2009, with the first page becoming available to the public in 2010. Red Lantern's characters are exclusively anthropomorphic, with mythical creatures such as dragons taking significant roles. Red Lantern is available in almost its entirety online at its website, www.rukiscroax.com/redlantern/, with select pages withheld to encourage the sales of the hardcopy. In the first volume, Rukis was mostly sketching and coloring the characters while Alector Fencer was colouring the backgrounds in the volume 1; however Myenia replaced Fencer in the volume 2, with both her and Rukis contributing equally to all parts.

Drawing a loose inspiration from history, Red Lantern stands out amongst anthropomorphic fiction, with the anthropomorphism representing nationality, personality, and culture and lending to flesh out the world of Red Lantern. Rukis herself describes the comic as as an "adult" comic not only for its few sex scenes (only on the printed edition), but also for its dark tone (the comic also deals with prostitution or natality). Moral ambiguity is introduced in most characters, undermining the assumptions the reader makes early in the story of good and evil, and creates very relatable, very human characters.

The first printed volume, entitled Volume 1: The Crimson Divine was published in March 2012 through Sofawolf Publications and made by Rukis and Fencer. Volume 2: Conviction, which debuted online in 2012, is projected to be published in June 2013, again through Sofawolf Publications, with Myena replacing Fencer and the collaborating style significantly altered so that both contribute equally to all parts, and each page is passed between the artists four times before completion. Rukis and Myenia are slotted as the illustrators for the remaining Volume 3 and 4.

The story of Red Lantern takes place on the fictional islands of the Shanivaar, a set of islands mimicking colonial India ruled by hyena clans but overseen by Amurescan laws. The series follows several storylines that intertwine and occassionally merge; one of the hardships of an aging slave in the Shanivaar sex trade, his replacement and fellow slaves, one of an Amurescan Admiral and his compromised fleet, one of a furious and wrathful foreign leader seeking vengeance for a horrible misdeed, and one of the political family of the second largest clan on the island.

Synopsis
Red Lantern takes place on the Shanivaar islands, where the local culture and politics of a society ruled by hyena clans lives under the laws of the Amurescan colonists. Prior to the events of Red Lantern, the Amurescans have begun to colonize the Dark Continent, home to a foreign culture of draconic natives, causing tension and war.

The Crimson Divine
Amon, who is aging and costing the Crimson Divine more than he earns, is tasked with training Dhaval, his replacement, who has been brought into his room still drugged. Dhaval begins to learn how to perform his non-sexual services such as serving drinks, finding out that his first night will be sold in an auction later in the week. Dhaval comes from a very isolated country life and does not understand the significance of these events, but fails to admit this to Amon.

Meanwhile, Luther and the Amurescan fleet are coming in with severe damage toward the island, while fighting off a Cathazra force of flying drakes. Luther finds his way to the Crimson Divine after arriving in port and meets Amon for a partial service. With the fleet in port, the Crimson Divine is filled by evening, and Isolde and Amon perform a dance to entertain the fleet, and Dhaval is captivated by Isolde's beauty. Amon stops the dance early because of back pain, and Isolde berates him about the injury caused by a client, as well as his use of the Crimson Divine's namesake drug. She then threatens the onlooking Dhaval for desiring her. Manjusha is visited by her mother Rajne, who demands that Coros, who injured Amon, be allowed to bid on Dhaval's first night. Manjusha resists because she does not want to lose her new investment before making money off of him, but ultimately loses the argument.

The next morning, a few Carvecian soldiers hire Amon for service When Dhaval searches for him for help with a customer's drinks, he walks in on Isolde nude performing oral sex on a client, and then on Amon with two clients. Dhaval, who previously did not understand what a brothel was, is terrified and escapes over the garden wall, with Amon persuing him. When they dead end at the sea, Amon explains that the island is small and isolated, that servant collars are checked at all the docks, and the only way out is to earn his freedom. Amon and Dhaval find themselves walking through a rival clan's part of town after dark to get home, and are stopped by two striped hyenas. Dhaval runs to the docks, where he gets help from Luther and his companions. They return after Amon has been raped and his cheek cut, but save him from further harm. Amon accidentally reveals that he knows Luther, but covers it by telling his companions that a female servant from the Crimson Divine had talked about him.

The next day at Dhaval's auction, Amon, who is in attendance, bids his own savings to prevent Coros from winning Dhaval's first night. Amon wins the auction, much to Manjusha's thanks and Coros' frustration, but Manjusha tells him that his money is truly spent and he must take his prize. Amon realizes that he can no longer protect Dhaval from his fate. Dhaval is elated when he returns to the Crimson Divine, but Amon quickly stops him and explains that he can now be bought at any time and that he must teach him how to work. Dhaval is horrified and Amon explains that it is the only kind of servitude in which he has a chance of earning his freedom, and since Amon cannot protect him from this life, he can at least prepare him. After, Amon is scolded by Isolde for throwing away his savings and his chance at life, implying it has happened once before, and Esha assures Amon that he did the right thing. Luther arrives to thank Amon for lying for him.

At 44 pages, Rukis considered this a "practice comic". However, it sold out within the first day of the Anthrocon 2010, and Rukis went on to create a sequel Unconditional. Set years later, it depicts the everyday life of Reis and Marcus, now in couple. However a printed edition was released, featuring an exclusive epilogue.

She also released a three-page short comic commission entitled Partners, taking place after the events of Unconditionnel.
Cruelty is a comic created, written and drawn by Rukis. The story is a gay-themed drama following the story of Marcus, a gay fennec, and his best friend Reis, a heterosexual wolfdog who discovers that he felt in love with Marcus.

At 44 pages, Rukis considered this a "practice comic". However, it sold out within the first day of the Anthrocon 2010, and Rukis went on to create a sequel Unconditional. Set years later, it depicts the everyday life of Reis and Marcus, now in couple. Unconditional debuted as a webcomio in 2011 and finished the following year, concluding the story of Reis and Marcus. However a printed edition was released, featuring an exclusive epilogue.

She also released a three-page short comic commission entitled Partners, taking place after the events of Unconditionnel.

Characters
*Marcus: a male fennec.
*Reis: a male Wolfdog.
