Gennii Drominda orGenniiDrominda or just Gennii is student whose fursona is a blue skunk with cat-like tendencies.

An artist of modest skill, she focuses mostly on female furry art, ranging from clean to adult "yiffy" art.

Fursona information
----
Base stats
*5'7" Blue fur (typically between royal and medium blue)
*Violet eyes
*Slightly heavy-set (i.e. little love handles)
*White striping from her neck to just on the insides of her thighs, from the back of her neck to the tip of her tail.
*White hands, white feet, and white around her eyes.

Fursona backstory
Originally, she didn't associate a fursona to herself. A avid fantasy lover, mostly of Lord of the Rings and Redwall, she actually attributed a created elf character to herself, named Sailor FaerieRose (the senshi name belying her great love for the anime Sailor Moon).

Roleplaying on the internet gave her the window into the furry fandom. Due to her great love of animals, cats in particular, she took on a anime-like catgirl fursona, and kept that for a few years, until 1998.

However, after a year or two (around 1998-1999), the catgirl fursona just didn't resonate with her, so she began to broaden her thoughts. After species research, a skunkette was doodled, then fully fleshed out.

The odd fur coloration is due to her favorite color being cerulean, and wanting to stand out a little bit.

Real Life
----
Gennii is the fursona of Jennifer (who goes by Jen), who is a full time student at the Art Institute of Phoenix, located in Phoenix, Arizona, studying Media Arts and Animation as of late 2007, returning to finish her final year.

Currently works a full time job, which involves throwing papers at a scanner and staring blankly at a computer screen.

Lives with in a house with her boyfriend, Jeremiah, a friend, Alexander (or Alchaun), and Alchaun's girlfriend, Ashley. Four cats, and three turtles round out the household, two of the cats being Jen's. A male and a female, named Jing and Jaing, respectively.

Her hobbies include drawing, singing (having taken over the years a combined total of 13 years of vocal training), singing karaoke, reading manga, poking around on the internet, surfing Fur Affinity, or sleeping (an activity she can never get enough of).

Horrifically addicted to Code Red Mountain Dew, and can usually be seen with a can of it.

Is currently working on a self written, self illustrated manga-type comic book that will be entitled F.A.E. (Faeries After Ending).

Has commissioned a fursuit by ScribbleFox, and has paid half of it as of April 2008. The fursuit will be of her fursona.

She hopes to have the suit by late June of 2008, to attend Anthrocon 2008, however, she has no problem waiting until the next Further Confusion in 2009, due to it being closer to her place of living, in Arizona.

The Blue Skunk of DOOM!
Hello, all! I'm Gennii, or just Gen (or Jen, if you want to get fancy).

I'm an artist... sort of.
I like drawing females, mostly due to the fact that.. I do.

I'm trying to get the hang of this Wiki thing, because I think it's a great idea and another way for furs to connect, which is good in itself.

Thanks!

The Secret of NIMH

2008-02-12T06:00:40Z

GenniiDrominda: Extending Stub of Movie

The Secret of NIMH is a 1982 animated movie directed by Don Bluth. It was based on the novel Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, by Robert C. O'Brien.

Plot Summary
Mrs. Brisby, a field mouse, was recently widowed when her husband, Jonathan Brisby, passed away, leaving her and her three children alone. Living in a farmer's field in a concrete block, she soon finds out (from the loud Auntie Shrew) that plowing day is near, and she must move her family to a safe location before the farmer plows the field where they live; however her youngest son, Timmy, cannot go outside due to his pneumonia. The cold could kill him.

After gaining some medicine for Timmy as well as some advice from the wizened Mr.Ages, she departs from the field to visit the Great Owl to find out the best way to avoid the plow but spare the life of Timmy. The Great Owl tells her to move her house to the lee of the stone (her house currently is placed on the incorrect side) and to ask the rats, and to speak to Nicodemus.

Terrified, but determined to save her child's life, she approaches the rosebush near the farmer's house where the rats live. After gaining entry, she is nearly killed by a guard rat. In fear, she scampers around, and gets lost, eventually finding Mr. Ages, who lives there. As Mr. Ages tries to shoo her out for trespassing, she tells him what the Great Owl told her. Changing his tone, he begins to lead her to Nicodemus, only to be frightened by Justin. Justin introduces himself, and Mrs. Brisby is surprised that Justin knows her late husband very well. Justin, with Mr. Ages, begins to lead her to Nicodemus, however, they come upon a meeting of the council of rats, where Jenner is imploring that the rats should not move from the rosebush. His reasoning is that they have everything they need. Nicodemus' plan, however, is to leave, and begin anew, using their intelligence to forge a new place of thier own, and to stop stealing electricity from the humans. The council does not come to a decision regarding this matter, however, due to the recent plea of Mrs. Brisby.

Nicodemus, the leader of the rats, is a very wise, and elderly rat. Mrs. Brisby tells Nicodemus the issue with her house, and he responds by telling her about why the rats are so eager to help her. Typically, the rats would have nothing to do with a lowly field mouse, however they have a debt to repay.

Mrs. Brisby's late husband, Jonathan, was part of a lab where the rats were held, known as NIMH (National Institute of Mental Health). Within this lab, the rats and mice were given various serums and experimental drugs. Many rats, and mice died, but some took to the drugs, gaining sentience, and cognitive capacity. Many learned how to read, and write. Over time, they planned their escape. However, at the very end, they couldn't get out the final grate to the outdoors. Jonathan was small enough, and freed them. He died giving a sleeping powder to Dragon, the farmer's cat, to allow the rats to enter the house to gain access to the electricity.
Nicodemus gives Mrs. Brisby a shining inscribed pendant, and tells her the rats will help her.

Jenner, on the other hand, has other plans. He sets up, with one of his friends, a way to kill Nicodemus using Mrs. Brisby's house, making it look like an accident. His reasoning is that if Nicodemus is dead, the rest of the rats will turn to him for guidance, and they will not have to leave.

Jenner's plan goes off, and Nicodemus is killed. Justin and Jenner have a duel, and just as Jenner is seen to win, his lackey throws a knife, killing Jenner.

In the midst of all this, Mrs. Brisby's house begins to sink into the mud, her children inside. The ropes holding it up continue to break, and she is helpless, watching her home disappear into the muck.

The pendant that Nicodemus gave her, however, begins to glow, and through magical means, her house is lifted in a red haze to the place on the lee of the stone, where it will avoid the plow and they will be safe.

The movie ends with the rats leaving the farm, and Timmy recovering enough from the pneumonia that he wants to come outside.

Thanks!

The Blue Skunk
Gennii Drominda orGenniiDrominda or just Gennii is a blue skunk with cat tendencies.

She's an artist, or so she'd like to think so, mostly focusing on female furry art.

Has been involved with the furry fandom since about her freshman year, however, she's spent the majority of her life not feeling quite human, so upon discovering furries upon the internet, finally began to feel as if she belonged.

Fursona Information
----
Base stats
*5'7" Blue fur (typically between royal and medium blue, but she's not picky.)
*Violet eyes
*Slightly heavy-set (i.e. little love handles)
*White striping from her neck to just on the insides of her thighs, from the back of her neck to the tip of her tail.
*White hands, white feet, and white around her eyes.

Originally, Gennii didn't associate a fursona to herself. A avid fantasy lover, she actually attributed an created elf character to herself, named Sailor FaerieRose (the senshi name belying her great love for the anime Sailor Moon).

It wasn't until she got heavily into roleplaying on the internet that the idea of a "fursona" was shown to her. Due to her great love of cats, she took on a catgirl fursona, and kept that for a few years.

However, after a while, the catgirl just didn't seem right to her, so she began to broaden her thoughts. After research, a skunkette was doodled, then fully fleshed out.

The odd fur coloration is due to Gennii's favorite color being cerulean, and wanting to stand out a little bit.

Real Life
----
Gennii is the fursona of a blond goof named Jennifer, who is a full time student at the Art Institute of Phoenix, currently studying Media Arts and Animation. Once finished with her degree, she's hoping it leads to the opportunity to go to other countries such as Japan, or China, but she would be happy to stay in the states.

When not at school, she's typically at work, throwing papers around at a scanner and staring blankly at a computer screen.

Lives with in a house with a friend, his girlfriend, and her boyfriend, J. Four cats, and three turtles round out the household, two of the cats being hers. A male and a female, named Jing and Jaing, respectively.

Her hobbies include drawing, singing (13 years of vocal training and nowhere to go), reading manga (her collection is quite extensive, taking up two bookshelves), poking around on the internet, surfing Fur Affinity, or sleeping (an activity she can never get enough of).

Is currently working on a manga-type comic book entitled F.A.E. (Faeries After Ending)
