Fuzzlemuzzle: Personal Exclusion

It may take me a day or three to respond, and I am unlikely to respond to what I perceive as rhetorical questions. '''Please assume I have a reason for the edits I make, and be courteous in what you write here.'''

The best place for most discussion is the talk page of the particular article or category concerned, rather than here.

==Personal Exclusion==
Hello, when the name shredwolf is entered into the search engine, it redirects to my real name. I am asking that this page be taken down completely since I did not authorize any real life info to be associated with a fandom name. Thank you for your time.

==Fuskies==
You appear to be the Category Lead, so do you think there are enough fuskies/fox-husky hybrids to warrant their own category? [[Tylan Fusky|1]] [[Akwawo Owawka|2]] [[Rivet|3]] [[Kalypso|4]] [[Idylwild|5]]--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 19:07, 13 June 2013 (EDT)
:Good query! I'm seeing (from a [[Special:MultiCategorySearch]] for articles in both Fox-hybrid characters and Dog-hybrid characters) a number that are that mixture without using the name Fusky, so Category:Fusky characters is too specific, but we're probably at a point to create [[:Category:Dog-Fox characters]] on pattern with [[:Category:Cat-Fox characters]]. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 01:49, 14 June 2013 (EDT)

== Categorization of redirects ==

Categorizing the redirect instead of its target article seems appropriate when the redirect is for a fundamentally different thing than the target; in this case, it wouldn't make much sense for "[[Lapism]]" to appear in [[:Category:Anthologies]], but ''[[The First Book of Lapism]]'' should. This also applies to, say, a character who is not a person's main fursona and who has a different species. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 18:33, 13 November 2013 (EST)
:Thanks for the catch! I had in my head that The Book of Lapism was an in-world object not a publication, and didn't check through. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 13:00, 14 November 2013 (EST)

== suggestion about content tags ==

When adding content tags ([http://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=The_Fursuit_Database&diff=prev&oldid=419163 such as <nowiki>{{unref}} and {{copyedit}}</nowiki>]) please add them above the infobox (or above [http://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=Rocky_Mountain_Fur_Con_2011&diff=prev&oldid=410885 template such as <nowiki>{{Rocky Mountain Fur Con}}</nowiki>]) to avoid having a bunch of whitepace to left of infobox (or template). --[[User:EarthFurst|EarthFurst]] 06:18, 6 December 2013 (EST)

== Personal exclusion? ==

Hey, i'm trying to clean up a lot of loose personal info i've left on different wikis, and years after writing the article for my shitty character, I don't necessarily want to look back on that (or a revision history to be available). Could you blank and protect the "Lord Blake" article? [[User:Yobutt5|Yobutt5]] 02:54, 14 January 2014 (EST)

== Deletion of Record Labels category? ==
I own a furry record label and it is moderately successful, and it seemed silly to me that the record labels category would be deleted before I even had the chance to put my label in that category. Do I own the only furry record label? surely not. Thank you for your time.--[[User:Richardlindsey|Richard Lindsey]] 16:29, 19 January 2014 (EST)

== Personal Exclusion per WikiFur Policy ==

Hello Sine,

I would like to formally request personal exclusion to the page for 'Fritter', my online character. I am removing myself more and more from public eyes, and am concerned with personal details left for events that are in excess of 3 years old at this time. I can provide all reasonable proofs of identity, if you would so kindly note me via FA (for privacy, I do not wish to disclose any e-mail addresses here).

As you already know, this is the policy with which I am referring to:
http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/WikiFur:Personal_exclusion

With this request, I would prefer the entire page be left blank and locked at this time.

Best regards,
Fritter <small>—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.172.58.27 ([[User talk:71.172.58.27|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/71.172.58.27|contribs]]) 03:30, 19 February 2014</small>

== Rename page to Holydrake ==

This is Wolfganghm, my friend wanted me to change the title of a page to Holydrake, how do I change titles? <small>—The preceding unsigned comment was added by [[User:Wolfganghm|Wolfganghm]] ([[User talk:Wolfganghm|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/Wolfganghm|contribs]]) 00:57, 11 July 2014 .</small>

Regarding the [[Furry Fiesta]] page. You tagged it as unreferenced. It has two references and also has links to the con's website. What aspects of the article do you require further references? Thanks. --[[User:FuzzWolf|FuzzWolf]] ([[User talk:FuzzWolf|talk]]) 23:04, 11 November 2014 (EST)
