The Gathering of the Gargoyles is a convention for fans of Disney's Gargoyles series. While not specifically a furry convention, the strong anthropomorphic themes in the series makes this convention of interest to some furries. The gathering for 2006 will be held June 23-26 in Los Angeles.

Tails of the City

2006-03-04T06:19:23Z

Freeportaver: External links

Tails of the City is a serial story by Regan Pylman (R. S. Pylman). Originally written in weekly installments from the middle of 1997 to the middle of 1998, each episode was posted on the world-wide web, provided free to readers. A total of fifty episodes were published, receiving critical acclaim and fan affection.

The serial was a slice-of-life story, revolving primarily around the characters Michelle, Stacie, Mirrium, and David. Michelle is a Coyote who works in a ecclectic, pagan-oriented bookstore; she falls in love with Stacie, a straight puma who is studying river and stream ecology at the local university. David is also a coyote, a veteran trying to find a place in the civilian world, and bouncing from job to job. He, like Michelle, lives on Encinal street, with his roommate, Mirrium. Mirrium is a hyena with a crushed self-image, who inadvertantly becomes a hero to an old homeless woman.

As much as the series is about anything, it is about the places life takes us when we're not expecting them. It's about how creatures interact, how they puzzle, infuriate, charm, and love one another. It could be any neighborhood where neighbors interact.

Manuella Coté, more widely known as Manue or Sonitweek, is a furry artist and she exposes her art online on art communities such as Side7, VCL, deviantART and PregFur, her DeviantArt gallery more frequently updated.
She not only creates the characters but also creates stories with them, even if they remain mostly unpublished as of now. Her stories and universe are also a co-work with her friend Sybile Guérin, who draws on the same style as Manuella, except her choice is of computer-colored art, while Manuella uses mostly tradidional media - Prismacolor-branded colored pencils and markers.

Allegria Wrestling Association

2006-03-04T06:16:38Z

Freeportaver: Reverted edits by Profundityba to last version by Auditorsadly

The Allegria Wrestling Association (AWA) was a large independent wrestling federation located in Furcadia.

AWA Era
When the name change took place, the newly named AWA was out of luck: they had no wrestlers, and no new talent. They went scouting and picked up some really great wrestlers. Kurt Angle (this is a character, not a person), was among one of the best. He excelled tremendously, and was the last European Champion. The AWA continued to soar with great technical wrestling talent, and the AWA was the most dominating force in cyber wrestling. The AWA was inducted to the Cyber-Federation Wrestling's Hall of Fame. After 5 great years as the AWA, they decied since their attendance was so low, and because of wrestlers having quit the FWF, that they would close down and sell their operation. The last broadcast show, and the AWA's death, was on December 5, 2005. Furcadian Championship Wrestling (FCW), bought out all of the AWA's names and merchandise. FCW now owns all the names, merchandise, PPVs, and patches.

The Last Champions
* USA Champion: EDDIE "LATINO HEAT"
* European Champion: Kurt Angle
* AWA Tag Team Championship: Chris Highlights and George Animal
* AWA World Title: Hawk
* AWA Undisputed Title: Eric "Mean" Beane
