'''Flynn''' is a [[furry artist]] [[Wikipedia:intersex|intersex]] [[female|woman]].

== Biography ==

Outside of furry, Flynn is a long-time player and content contributor of the [[Wikipedia:Dungeons and Dragons|Dungeons and Dragons]] roleplaying game, as well as an RPG designer herself. She also worked for [[Wikipedia:Nintendo of America|Nintendo of America]], and is an activist for intersex awareness. Flynn is mated to [[Jalen]].

== Fandom involvement ==

Flynn is moderately popular in the [[furry fandom]]. She's attended many [[conventions]], the Rocky Mountain FurCon in particular, which she goes to nearly every year. She knows hundreds of members of the [[furry]] community, and supports obscure/under-appreciated yet talented furry artists. Flynn actively wants to improve the furry community, but is well-known for her divisive opinions, and has spawned more than one heated debate. Considered a troll by some, and a positive influence by others, her effect on the future of the furry fandom remains unclear.

Her experiences as an [[artist]] mostly involve designing avatars and accessories for [[Second Life]]. She also draws on occasion.

==== Fursona ====

Her [[fursona]] is a [[Wikipedia:Norse|Norse]] [[Wikipedia:lindworm|lindwurm]], a humanoid saurian [[mammal]] with the head and tail of a [[serpent]], as well as [[goat]] horns and large, distinctive earfrills. Although not a [[dragoness]], she is often mistaken for one. She is also a [[hermaphrodite]].

User talk:Equivamp

2011-05-01T22:50:42Z

Flynn:

Hello Equivamp,
Please be aware that if things need shifting around, it should be done using the "Move" tab rather than by cutting and pasting. The problem with just cutting and pasting the old content into a new page is that the article's old edit history is lost, and we prefer to retain that.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] 08:21, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

==Redirects==
Regarding your recommendations on [[Warrior Cats]] and [[Fangirl]], I've put those redirects in place. As a side note, you don't need to put it up for a vote. If you feel such redirects are warranted, by all means go ahead and put them in. Be Bold! --[[GingerM]] ([[User_talk:GingerM|Leave me a message]]) 02:25, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
:I wouldn't know how....

==[[:File:Kung_fu_panda_promotional_poster.jpg]]==
Hello Equivamp,

This is in regards to [[:File:Kung_fu_panda_promotional_poster.jpg]]. It has not been tagged with a copyright status. This can be a complicated area, so I can try to help if you need any. The Wikipedia [[Wikipedia:WP:IUP|Image use policy]] may give some background, but it isn't policy here.

To deal with this image, there are a few choices:

* If you are the copyright holder, release it under a free license, for example:
** [[Wikipedia:Public domain|Public domain]] <nowiki>{{PDImage}}</nowiki>
** [[Wikipedia:Creative Commons|Creative Commons]] Attribution-ShareAlike <nowiki>{{Cc-by-sa-2.5}}</nowiki>
** [[Wikipedia:GFDL|GFDL]] <nowiki>{{GFDL}}</nowiki>
* If you are asserting that this image is usable under fair use, add an appropriate fair use tag. A very basic summary is that fair use is used for commentary, criticism and review on the image when no free image could be used instead. Some fair use tags are:
** Logos: <nowiki>{{logo}}</nowiki>
** Covers: <nowiki>{{Cover}}</nowiki>
** Comic panels: <nowiki>{{Comic-panel}}</nowiki>
* If the image is already under a free license, provide information on the license, and tag the image if you can.
* If you would like the image to be deleted, ask any [[WikiFur:Administrators|administrator]]

To see a list of current copyright tags available on WikiFur, see [[:Category:Image copyright tags]]
If the copyright status is not resolved, the image may be deleted.

Unless you have a question for me specifically, you should respond on the page for the image. --[[GingerM]] ([[User_talk:GingerM|Leave me a message]]) 20:02, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

== Friend of Wolfee ==

I am a friend of Wolfee and if you need any help I am available too
:Well, they were questions involving the [[YouTube Furry War]]. If you have any information on that, I'd love to ask you some questions.

== Categories ==

Hi Equivamp,

I made those changes to Categories to follow our policy in what categories we put on: more precise rather than broad. [[Help:Categories]] has more details. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 23:14, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
:I saw that, but undid it and made similar changes. Don't know why I was in hybrid groups, so I removed myself from those instead(I'm not a hybrid) [[User:Equivamp|Equivamp]] 14:47, 29 April 2011 (EDT)

Outside of furry, Flynn has designed or contributed to several 3rd party expansions of the Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game. She also worked for Nintendo of America.

Her [[fursona]] is a [[Norse]] [[lindwurm]], a humanoid saurian mammal with the head and tail of a serpent, as well as goat horns and large, distinctive earfrills. Although not a [[dragoness]], she is often mistaken for one.

Flynn is mated to [[Jalen]].

Flynn:

I can't say anything about if I'll be adding things regularly, but I will when I have time/ideas. As for nationstates, its neat to encounter another head of state no? I run The Union of Tinis which is part of the Furry Federation.

Hi. Thanks for the welcome. ^^; This seems to be a confusing topic in my mind as far as sorting, but what would "StarFox" groups like RPG's belong to? Certainly the one I know about so far does not use a MU*, but rather IRC and has it's own Wiki even. --[[User:Markus|Markus]] 09:48, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)

:Hmm. Not sure myself. Maybe you should make a new category for roleplaying groups, and then categorize that category page to <nowiki>[[Category:Community]]</nowiki>. You make new categories just by doing <nowiki>[[Category:Whatever]]</nowiki> and then clicking on the link to edit it like any other page. --{{UT|GreenReaper}} 14:03, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome! I've really enjoyed participating in WikiFur thus far, and I'm glad my contributions have been useful. I hope to continue to be an active participant in this community effort, and I think it's really going to be a success. ^_^ --[[User:Flynn|Flynn]] 03:34, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Anthropomorphic

2005-08-09T16:24:47Z

Flynn:

Anthropomorphic beings - whether they originate from real-world animals, mythical creatures, or even alien creations - all share several traits in common:

* Bipedal locomotion.

* Slightly altered facial structures to allow for a full range of speech and expression.

* Bodies that are very human-like in form (often including associated alterations to genitalia and secondary sexual characteristics).

* [[Digitigrade]] or [[plantigrade]] legs.

* Generally human-like eyes (with the possible exception of slitted pupils or other such minor variances).

* Fully dexterous hand-paws.

Beings that can walk on two legs but run on all fours, and still have somewhat dexterous forepaws, are referred to as [[modal]]. Non-anthro [[dragons]] and [[gryphons]] are two classic examples of modals.

Beings with a quadroped lower body and a humanoid upper body are referred to as having a [[taur]] shape. The [[chakat]] is a good example of a taur.

Dragon

2005-08-08T16:37:07Z

Flynn: /* Draconic Character */

'''Dragons''' are as wide and diverse a [[species]] as anyone could even hope to imagine, seemingly limitless in colour, markings and variations of form.

== Non-Anthro Dragons ==

Full-form, non Anthro dragons come in many shapes and sizes:

* '''Western Dragons''' are generally large, leathery-winged, quasi-reptilian or saurian beings that are typically warm-blooded, though that is not always the case. Most have scales and some lay eggs. Variations include:
** Feathered wings
** Fur coat or manes
** Un-scaled hides
* '''Eastern Dragons''' are generally long, sinuos, fur bearing dragons without wings. Often, they have horns or antlers, and are the type depicted in Chinese or Japanese traditional art.
* '''Non Traditional Dragons''' such as [[monoceros]] or Fairy Dragons

== Anthro-Dragons / Dragonoids / Daconoids / Draconids ==

Similar to their full-form cousins, but with humanoid or bipedal. They may or may not have wings, and any other feature of dragons.
* Feminine forms (be they female, [[herm]], or otherwise) usually have breasts
* Legs are often [[digitigrade]], but may be [[plantigrade]].

Dragons and humanoid dragons may be two aspects of the same race on slightly different paths or stages of evolution, as evidenced by the ability of many full-size dragons to assume a humanoid form.

== Draconic Character ==

Dragons typically share many character traits:
* Hoarding
* Drinking tea
* Arrogance
* Vanity
Though the last two items are commonly ascribed to dragons, it is in many cases innacurate.

*In ''[[In A Perfect World]]'', the comic strip drawn by [[AraKaraath]], dragons are notorious for harassing postal carriers. Common traits include a love of shiny objects, the ability to "lounge" almost anywhere, and a tendancy to take a very long view of things.

Although many dragons have what's referred to as a "breath weapon", usually fire or ice or lightning or some such, there are some who instead have psionic abilities or other mystic talents. Many dragons are highly magical or technologically advanced.

One of the most infamous draconic traits is what's referred to as the "pounce or ponder" instinct. A large majority of dragons tend to either make snap decisions, or else they'll spend hours and even days laboring over an idea, with very little middle ground between the two extremes.

Jalen

2005-08-07T06:48:41Z

Flynn:

Jalen is one of many [[dragons]] scattered about the globe...more specifically of the winged, blonde-maned, humanoid, red-scaled variety. Shi is an empath, is immune to fire, and is also a masculine/androgynous [[hermaphrodite]]. Best known for hir singular wit and open attitude toward all of furkind, shi can also be quite mischevious and playful when the mood strikes hir (which is fairly often).

Jalen is the lifemate of [[Flynn]], and is good friends with [[Cuprohastes]], [[Sorien]] and [[AraKaraath]].
