Werewolf: the Apocalypse (or W:tA) was a roleplaying game published by White Wolf studios from 1992 to 2004. In it, players play members of the Garou, a race of wolves who, despite being almost wiped out from generations of internal struggles, have become aware that the apocalypse is approaching.

The roleplaying game could be called the "lifestyler's RPG," in that its major themes include striking a balance between one's human and animal sides, struggling to find friends and live despite a heavy secret, and searching to find a group you could call family. Of course, lifestylers don't have to deal with fending off the end of the world too often, but a game purely about introspection wouldn't sell very well.

System
WtA uses the Storyteller system, a d10 dicepool system. Characters are rated from 1-5 in nine stats (three each in Physical, Mental, and Social groups), spent various amounts of points among three types of abilities (Talents, Skills, and Knowledges), and could buy extra special abilities, stats, or skills with 'freebies.'

The Player's Guide added a virtually-required expansion to character creation in which characters could also take "merits" (advantages) and "flaws" (disadvantages) with their freebie points.

Resolution was by rolling dice equal to a stat plus a skill, and getting a 'success' for every die that showed up higher than a target number (6 for average rolls, but ranging as high as 9 or as low as 3). Die rolls of 1 were worse than normal failures and rolls of 10 were better than normal successes. The results aren't all black and white: you can have a minor, normal, or superhuman success. This gives more freedom to the storyteller, and only she can decide the results for your character. Some rolls, like gift activation, are precisely documented but their exact effects varied between different editions of the system (and indeed, individual groups).

W:tA, in addition to the standard stats of the Storyteller system, added two new stats specific to the Garou: Rage and Gnosis. Rage was the connection to Luna's anger, while Gnosis was the connection to Gaia. This gave the game the occasional nickname of "Werewolf Wizards & Warriors," since Rage and Gnosis were heavily tied to combat and mystical actions respectively, and characters who had a high score in one usually didn't bother to attain a high score in the other.

Abilities
In W:tA, all werewolves share some common powers. These include shapeshifting, regeneration, the Delirium, and the ability to learn special abilities (known as gifts).

Shapeshifting takes five forms: Pure human (homid), near human (glabro), mixture (crinos, or wolf-man), near wolf (hispo, or dire wolf), and pure wolf (lupus). Shapeshifting normally takes time, but Rage can force an instant change from one form to another.

The Delirium is a special form of horror; humans who see werewolves are panicked, and lose some or all their memory of seeing the werewolves afterwards. However, the potency of the Delirium is based on the human's willpower; a strongwilled human will be affected less than a weakwilled human.

Character groups
Character groups in Werewolf: the Apocalypse

The Apocalypse
Most werewolves believe that the Apocalypse is game over: the Wyrm wins, the Garou lose, Gaia is killed, and eventually all of existence ceases to be. If the Garou can defeat the Wyrm, the Apocalypse will be stopped. The Children of Gaia, Get of Fenris, Red Talons, Shadow Lords, and Silver Fangs hold this belief. However, this belief is not universal.

Some factions believe that the Apocalypse is natural, and automatic -- the natural result of the actions of the Triat. After the final battle, the winners will get to decide who wins. The final battle, then, will be the chance for the nature of reality to be decided... and those Garou do not want the Wyrm to win. Most of these are members of the more mystic tribes, such as the Silent Striders, the Stargazers, and the Uktena.

Finally, others think that, while Gaia is doomed to die, there will be a chance to escape; they plan to use the Apocalypse to fight past the Wyrm and flee to a land out of reach of Wyrm, Gaia, and other Garou. Most of these pessimists are Bone Gnawers.

Spinoffs
GURPS Werewolf: the Apocalypse
GURPS Werewolf: the Apocalypse (ISBN 1-55-634276-4, shown) was an adaptation of the Werewolf game to the GURPS system. Although it had promise, the adaptation showed some critical misunderstandings of the Storyteller system (such as treating Rage and Gnosis as just special pools of 'fatigue points'). The book sold only lukewarmly, and a predicted companion was canceled after Steve Jackson Games and White Wolf had a falling out.

Werewolf: the Wild West
Werewolf: the Wild West (ISBN 1-56-504340-5) was a roleplaying game cast in Deadland's mold. Although the setting was well-received (replacing the untouchable Wyrm as the main enemy with a single exceptionally powerful but ultimately defeatable Bane), much text was copied and pasted directly out of the second edition of the original Werewolf roleplaying game. This caused the book to seem cheaper than it actually was, and ended its run prematurely. Several supplements were produced for Wild West, including a series of crossovers with Deadlands.

Dark Ages: Werewolf
Dark Ages: Werewolf (ISBN 1-58-846284-6) was the sequel to the widely successful White Wolf game, Dark Ages: Vampire. It was never received well by the fans of the original, however; it was seen as a quick attempt to cash in on the success on its predecessor. However, it has experienced a minor comeback as it is now available in PDF format.

Werewolf: the Forsaken
Werewolf: the Forsaken was a 'reimagined' version of the original game, covered in fuller detail in W:tA and furry gamers, below.

Rage
Rage was actually two different collectible card games (or CCGs) based on Werewolf, but with totally different rules. The first version (Rage: Apocalypse) was produced by White Wolf Game Studios and had five sets. The second version (Rage: Tribal War) was produced by Five Rings Publishing Group which became a division of Wizards of the Coast.

Both versions are currently out of production, but have found new life with fan made cards that White Wolf recognizes for use in tournaments. Many furry artists have worked on the fan made sets for Rage, including artists such as Dark Natasha, Roz Gibson, and Ursula Vernon. All the fan produced sets are available online from the central Rage website, River Von. Rage has also been developed for online play on Lackey.

Rage tournaments have been held at several conventions since 2004, including Further Confusion, Anthrocon, and FurFright. More tournaments are planned. See the central Rage website for a tournament schedule or visit the Rage Forum.<!-- I really really need something to check on this, because I couldn't find any good web sources about the card game to verify my facts. --Almafeta -->
<!-- I do the art direction for Rage so am up on all the current issues. Corrected the errors, added external links to more info on Rage. Might eventually rate its own page of stuff --fenrislorsrai -->

Werewolf: the Apocalypse: Heart of Gaia
Werewolf: the Apocalypse: Heart of Gaia was a short-lived attempt at producing a Werewolf video game by ASC Games. Based on the Quake II engine, the system would have been true to the Storyteller system, while simultaneously answering some of the more common complaints from the first Storyteller games, Vampire: the Masquerade: Redemption. However, ASC closed its doors, taking with it the code to Heart of Gaia. Since this time, White Wolf has not shown interest in licensing out WtA to another company.

W:tA and furry gamers
In 2005, W:tA was nominated as the 'furriest RPG in existence' by an informal study at RPGnet. Ethan Skemp, then line editor for Werewolf, replied by saying: "God damn it." He then later went on to say that Werewolf could not be a furry roleplaying game "because werewolves don't have breasts," implying he associated "furry" with furverts.

In the sequel to Werewolf, Werewolf: the Forsaken (or WtF), most of the elements that made it appealing to the furry fandom were removed. This included changing many aspects of the game; rather than fight against corporate (and mainly human) opression, the main opponents now come from the spirit world, which is described as a Darwinistic nightmare; all werewolves are derived from human stock, to focus on the "human comes to grips with monstrous urges" aspect of werewolf lore; and the focus is now local, with a more realistic (and uncertain) pack mentality.

Further, the primary non-spirit antagonists of werewolves in the new game are the Pure Tribes; wheras the player-characters are Forsaken, a minority among werewolves, the Pure Tribes did not "betray Father Wolf" in the past, and believe themselves to be the "true" werewolves. Ironically, the mother of all werewolves has condemned the Pure Tribes, with the Pure Tribes responding by no longer venerating their creator. The Pure Tribes are depicted as merciless horrors, alternating between violating their own oaths of harmony and enacting rites of gruesome penance. The archetypical Pure Tribe werewolves described in the book have such lurid titles as "Fire-Touched Deacon" and "Elder Man-Eater."

Without actual quotes and specification of the sources involved, the "WtF is less furry than WtA on purpose" statement can be dismissed as rumour. Many players, among them furries, believe that WtF was a welcome nerf of the incredibly high-violence high-drama cineastic world of WtA. That said, the great majority of WtF playing furries seems to indeed come to the conclusion that W: the Apocalypse just was a lot more fun to play than W: the Forsaken. The same has also been said countless times by non-furries - as has the opposite. Basically, WtF is a very debatable topic, and rumor freely mingles with fact in most discussions about it.

Some comparisons have been made to (Vampire: the Requiem), as the new Werewolf has a much more local focus and is geared towards personal tragedy and noble sacrifice. Ethan Skemp would later go on record as saying that it was the appeal of WtA to the furry fandom that fueled the changes in WtF. Reactions among the fans of Werewolf have been mixed; it should be noted that many non-furry Werewolf fans prefer Werewolf: The Forsaken, or consider the game equal to its predecesor.

Ironically, though the game's setting is less friendly to furry fandom, its spirit world is technically much more anthropomorphic than the previous edition; everything has a spirit, even locations, domestic appliances, and concepts like "greed" and "friendship."

Rage is a trading card game originally published by White Wolf in 1995 based on the roleplaying game, Werewolf: The Apocalypse. The game is based around packs of werewolves battling each other and various evil monsters while trying to save the world.

Rage had five sets of cards: Limited/Unlimited, Umbra, Wyrm, War of the Amazon, and Legacy of the Tribes. The game was discontinued after Legacy and the license sold to Five Rings Publishing Group (FRPG).

FRPG produced a new version of the game with the same card backs and set in the same world, but with completely different mechanics. It was incompatible with the first version of the game. The second version of the game had seven card sets. The first six were numbered and released once a month. They were known as Phase 1 through 6. The final set, Equinox, combined together three of the smaller numbered sets (7-9) into one larger set.

FRPG was bought out by Wizards of the Coast (the makers of Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon), who were in turn bought out by Hasbro. Hasbro discontinued many of the games it had acquired in the take over, including Rage. The license for the game lapsed back to White Wolf.

Azrael Productions, who produced an online magazine, acquired permission from White Wolf to provide tournament support for both versions of Rage. However, Azrael was unable to acquire the license to bring Rage back into print. While under Azrael's care, there were two notable developments. The first version of Rage came to be called "Rage: Apocalypse" and the second version "Rage: Tribal War" so people would not be confused as to which version people were talking about.

Azrael Productions also assembled a group of dedicated fans to start designing new cards for the game. They started playtesting these cards before Azrael eventually abandoned the project. Azrael gave up rights to the partially tested cards, leaving the path clear for the playtesters to produce fan-made sets of cards.

The first set of these fan made cards, Intermezzo, was released in 2003. A total of six fan made sets for Rage: Apocalypse (Intermezzo, Periphery, Gauntlet, and Coda. They are collectively known as the New England Block) and two for Tribal War (Web of Deceit and Christmas Present '04) have been released since then. The cards are hosted on the official Rage site, River Von, but are considered legitimate by White Wolf and are allowed in regular tournaments and for use in online play. They are not hosted on the main White Wolf server due to copyright issues with the artwork. Many well know furry artists have worked on the fan made sets for Rage.

While Rage is currently out of print, it was available online for play with the Gatling Engine. They had a licensing agreement with White Wolf allowing them to develop online versions of White Wolf's CCG properties (Rage, Vampire: the Eternal Struggle, and Arcadia: the Wyld Hunt).

Due to complex legal issues, only Rage: Apocalypse is available for online play. Hasbro retained some partial rights to Rage: Tribal War and has been unwilling to license it to CCG Workshop.

The GatlingEngine eventually ceased development in 2009 and Rage was then ported over to the online player Lackey.

A major rules overhaul for Rage's rules was released in March 2006. The update clarified many card interactions and converted rulings about individual cards to global rulings. There was an additional update that errated the 18 most broken cards in the game and introduced new rules for past Lives that returned them to play.

November 2006 saw the release of the first set in the Ahadi block, War Council. This set introduced updates to the frenzy rules, Moot and Board Meeting rules, changed when the first combat hand was drawn, and allowed some Prey and Allies access to additional Gifts. War Council also introduced a new Wyrm faction to the game, the Unbound. Additional Gaia and Wyrm factions will be introduced throughout the Ahadi block.

September 2007 saw the release of Rainmakers, the second set in the Ahadi block. This introduces the Ajaba (werehyenas) and expands the Pentex Exec and Mokole factions. It also offers a fistful of cards usable by all groups. The Revised Rules book was also released at this time. While it largely reorganizes the old rules book into an easier to use format, it introduces a new timing system for playing cards.

Sets/rules changes currently in production, as of August 2010:
*Something Old, Something New (Tribal War)- Limbo, project likely abandoned
*Battlefields update- Open beta testing. See write up here
*Ahadi block (Apocalypse)- This is a block with multiple sets. War Council, Rainmakers, Rainfall, and Sahel are now available. Information on becoming an Alpha or Beta tester is available through the forum on the central Rage site, River Von. The block is currently designed to hold 8 sets. The other sets in pre-production are tentatively titled Hellcats, Curse of Set, We Are Legion, and Gaia's Army. These are working titles. They may change. Hellcats is currently slated for a fall 2010 release
*Sea Dogs (Apocalypse)- Sometime after the Ahadi block is finished. This will be a bridge set between the two large blocks and deal with underwater horrors and pirates.
*Beast Courts (Apocalypse)- This is a block with multiple sets. It deals with the Far East.
*Rite of Passage (apocalypse)- tentative. Another bridge set that focuses on low renown characters and things they can use.
ThunderCats (or CosmoCats in some countries) was an American science fiction TV series which debuted in 1985. It featured anthopomorphic animals who greatly resemble humans. In 1986, a TV movie titled ThunderCats-HO! was released, after which came the second season, which aired from 1986 to 1987, the third season, which aired from 1987 to 1988, the fourth season, which aired from 1988 to 1989, and finally, the fifth season, which aired from 1989 to 1990. In 1985, a comic series based on ThunderCats was released. On June 5, 2007, it was announced that Warner Brothers is making a CGI-animated feature film based on ThunderCats. It is planned to be released in the summer of 2010. The series was created by Ted Wolf. There was also a ThunderCats video game.

Story
The series focuses on the ThunderCats, six humanoids who are based on felines and come from the planet Thundera. Their home planet was destroyed, so they fled to a planet called Third Earth. Their arch-nemesis is an undead mummy called Mumm-Ra.

Comics
ThunderCats was a succesful TV series, and as a result, spawned a comic book series by Marvel Comics, which was published from December 1985 to 1988. In 1988, a new ThunderCats comic series was published by Marvel UK. In 2002, another ThunderCats comic series was published by DC Comics. There was also a crossover between ThunderCats and Battle of the Planets.

Books
Random House produced around a dozen Thundercats books between 1985 and 1987 intended for very young readers that might not be old enough to read the comics. Most of these were original stories set in the Thundercats universe. Almost all of these were illustrated books intended for beginners readers. There was also a coloring book: Mumm Ra Meets His Match, a Story to Color. Two choose your own adventure books for young adults were produced by Random House in 1985: Find Your Fantasy #3: Thundercats and the Ghost Warrior and Find Your Fantasy #4: Thundercats and the Snowmen of Hook Mountain.

Video game
Elite Systems developed a video game based on ThunderCats. It was released for the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, and Commodore 64. In this game, the player would control Lion-O, who has to defeat Mumm-Ra's evil forces and rescue the other ThunderCats.

The ThunderCats
Lion-O - Lion-O is the Lord of the ThunderCats. He is based on the lion, and wields the Sword of Omens.

Jaga the Wise - Jaga is based on the jaguar. He was an elder warrior, who was once regarded as the greatest of all ThunderCats. He escorted the ThunderCats to safety.

Tygra - Tygra is based on the tiger. He wields a whip-like bolas in combat. He is the architect and scientist of the ThunderCats.

Panthro - Panthro is the second noblest and the second eldest after Jaga. He is based on the panther. He is the strongest warrior in combat, and is a martial artist. He helps Tygra build the vehicles they use on Third Earth.

Cheetara - Cheetara is a female warrior. She is based on the cheetah, and can move at superhuman speeds. Her weapon is a staff that can grow or shrink. She has a sixth sense.

WilyKat and WilyKit - WilyKat and WilyKit are brother and sister. They are based on the wildcat, and are called the ThunderKittens.

Ben-Gali - Ben-Gali is one the new ThunderCats. He is supposed to be based on a Bengal tiger, but he looks more like white tiger. Like Tygra, he is fast and agile, and Tygra calls him "brother". It is unclear if he and Tygra are related, or if "brother" is just an endearment. He wields a weapon called the Hammer of Thundera.

Pumyra - Like Cheetara, Pumyra is a female Thunderean. She is based on the puma, and is one of the new ThunderCats. Like the ThunderKittens, she is agile. In combat, she wields a whipcord.

Lynx-O - Lynx-O is one of the new ThunderCats. He is based on the lynx, and is blind. Like Cheetara, he has a sixth sense, although that is different. In spite of being blind, he is a formidable fighter. In combat, he wields a Sonic Reflector.

Claudus - Claudus is the previous Lord of the ThunderCats and Lion-O's father, Claudus ruled Thundera before its destruction. He lost his sight during a war he fought against the mutants of Plun-Darr. In the episode "Return to Thundera," Lion-O is transported back in time to Thundera the day before it was destroyed. He later rescued his father from past versions of Slithe and Vultureman, who were attempting to recover plans for a War-Bot that Claudus' Spies had gotten their hands on; he then proceeded to give these plans to Lion-O, who used them in the present to destroy the mutants' War-Bot. Believed to have died on Thundera while assisting the royal flagship in taking off, he was later found to have been captured by the Shadowmaster. Through a sequence of nightmares, Lion-O eventually learns of his father's imprisonment in the Shadow Realm and is able to rescue him.

Jaguara - Jaguara is an immortal sorceress. She is ancient and powerful. Like Jaga, she is based on a jaguar.
Rage (game)

While Rage is currently out of print, it can be played online using a program called the gatlingEngine, produced by CCG Workshop. They have a licensing agreement with White Wolf allowing them to develop online versions of White Wolf's CCG properties (Rage, Vampire: the Eternal Struggle, and Arcadia: the Wyld Hunt).

Due to complex legal issues, only Rage: Apocalypse is available for online play. Hasbro retained some partial rights to Rage: Tribal War and has been unwilling to license it to CCG Workshop.

Sets/rules changes currently in production, as of December 2008:
*Something Old, Something New (Tribal War)- Limbo, project likely abandoned
*Battlefields update- Open beta testing. See write up here
*Ahadi block (Apocalypse)- This is a block with multiple sets. War Council is now available. Information on becoming an Alpha tester is available through central Rage site, River Von. The block is currently designed to hold 6 sets. The other sets in pre-production are tentatively titled Hellcats, Curse of Set, We Are Legion, and Gaia's Army. These are working titles. They may change.

Obsession, Deceit, and Really Dark Chocolate is a mystery novel by Kyra Davis that involves furries. Mystery writer Sophie Katz teams up with her ex-boyfriend P.I. Anatoly Darinsky to investigate the death of the husband of her old teacher. The husband seems to have been killed for having a juicy secret about one of two political hopefuls running for congress- that one of them is secretly a furry!

This book is fairly typical in depicting furries in a negative light and focusing on the sexual aspect. It's clear that the author is not familiar with the furry fandom at all. One of the characters in the book makes reference to the infamous Vanity Fair article, which seems to have been the author's main source of research. All furries are depicted as fursuit wearing sexual deviants. Plushophilia is also explained. It is remarkable for one bizarre assertion, that those that wear fursuits for sexual purposes cannot also be plushophiles.

Not many books deal with the fandom itself to such a large degree. The furries are integral to the plot, even if largely depicted in a negative light.
The Incredible Journey is a novel by Sheila Burnford.

The three main characters of The Incredible Journey are Luath, a Labrador; Tao, a Siamese cat; and Bodger, an old Bull Terrier dog who are accidentally left behind by their family while on vacation. Instinct lets them journey 250 miles across the Canadian wilderness. Together, the three house pets face starvation, exposure, and wild animals to make their way home to the family they love.

Publication data
First published in May 1961, by Hodder and Stoughton, it was first printed in a Coronet edition in 1963. New illustrations, by Masaru Shimizu, were included from at least 1976 (the copyright date for them is 1972).

The most current editions are a hardcover by Delacorte Books for Young Readers. ISBN 0385322798, a mass market paperback by Laurel Leaf ISBN 0440226708 , and a chapter book by Dell Yearling ISBN 0440413249 <ref>Burnford, Sheila. The Incredible Journey.

Film Adaptation
This has been made into two very different films. The 1963 film, The Incredible Journey, stays close to the plot of the original book and the animals do not talk. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey changed the names and breeds of the animals while keeping the same basic plot. It also gave the animals dialog. In the original book, they do not speak. This was followed up by Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco which used the characters from the first Homeward Bound, but had little to do with the original book.

It follows the adventures of Robbie Trent and his pet wolf in the 1870s, when flocks of passenger pigeon's still darkened the skies and wolves still roamed the American Midwest. Wolf is a tame wolf pup that was taken out of his den as a pup and raised by humans.

Wolf and Robbie have many adventures in the woods near their Wisconsin home which is across the fence from Swedish naturalist Thure Kumlien, a contemporary of Henry David Thoreau and John Muir. The book is thus filled with notes on the natural history of Wisconsin during the 1870s. There is a section of footnotes at the back that provides additional information about the facts presented in the book as part of the story.

Sets/rules changes currently in production, as of Sept. 2007:
Information on becoming an Alpha tester is available through central Rage site, River Von. The block is currently designed to hold 6 sets. The other sets in pre-production are tentatively titled Hellcats, Curse of Set, We Are Legion, and Gaia's Army. These are working titles. They may change.

A total of four fan made sets for Rage: Apocalypse (Intermezzo, Periphery, Gauntlet, and Coda.

Sets/rules changes currently in production, as of July 2007:
*Something Old, Something New (Tribal War)- Limbo, project likely abandoned
*Battlefields update- closed Alpha testing on the gatling engine. This will return an entire banned card type to play when it is released. release date unclear, probably winter 2007. It will go into open Beta testing before final release.
*Rainmakers (Apocalypse)- part of the Ahadi block. Introduces the Ajaba (werehyenas) and focuses on the Mokole (weredragons) and Pentex Execs. Set in Eastern Africa, particularly the area around the Sudan. Currently in open Beta testing. Expected release in August 2007.

The Wolf's Hour by Robert McCammon follows werewolf Robert Gallatin, a spy for the Allies during World War II. Set right before D-Day, Robert is on a race against time to unravel a Nazi plot before it can doom the Normandy invasion.

Chapters alternate between the hero's fight against the Nazis and flashbacks to growing up in Russia just after the Revolution. He became a werewolf shortly after his parents were killed in the Revolution, so most of the flashbacks deal with him coming to terms with his new abilities and trying to avoid becoming a complete monster.

Transformations are relatively rare in the book as werewolves in this setting age at the same rate as wolves while transformed. While he does make use of heightened senses and often thinks in a more instictive way, he generally find other ways to deal with problems than changing forms.

The Wolf's Hour was nominated for the 1989 Bram Stoker Award.
The true first edition of this book is a paperback by Pocket Books of New York in 1989. The first hardcover edition was in Britian by Grafton in 1989. That was limited to only 2,000 copies and is the only hardcover edition in English. Hardcover editions in French under the title "L'Heure du loup" were printed in 1990 by Presses de la Citè and were mass produced.
All of the humans in the story have a daemon, a sort of animal companion that represents part of their soul. Injuring a daemon will cause pain in its human. There is a deep seated taboo against touching or injuring another person's daemon, though daemons may fight each other. Children's daemon's may change shape freely, adults daemons have a fixed form. Daemons generally have powers similar to their form but may talk in human speech.
The other major point of furry interest is the pansernjorne, or armored bears. This is a race of polar bears with opposable thumbs allowing them to work metal.

The first 6 were numbered and released once a month. They were known as Phase 1 through 6. The final set, Equinox, combined together three of the smaller numbered sets (7-9) into one larger set.

FRPG was bought out by Wizards of the Coast (the makers of Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon), who were in turn bought out by Hasbro.

A total of four fan made sets for Rage: Apocalypse (Intermezzo, Periphery, Gauntlet, and Coda.

A major rules overhaul for Rage's rules was released in March 2006. The update clarified many card interactions and converted rulings about individual cards to global rulings. There was an additional update that errated the 18 most broken cards in the game and introduced new rules for past Lives that returned them to play.

Sets/rules changes currently in production, as of September 2006:
*Something Old, Something New (Tribal War)- Limbo, project likely abandoned
*Battlefields update- closed Alpha testing on the gatling engine. This will return an entire banned card type to play when it is released. release date unclear, probably winter 2006/2007. It will go into open Beta testing before final release.
*Ahadi block (Apocalypse)- This is a block with multiple sets. The first set, War Council, is currently in open Beta testing. Additional info on Beta testing on linked page. The other sets in the block are currently in closed Alpha testing. Information on becoming an Alpha tester is available through central Rage site, River Von. The second set in the block is tentatively titled Rainmakers.
