Character
Felinaeus or Feli is a a black, lop-eared rabbit. He is in his early thirties with greying fur on the underside of his muzzle. He wears glasses, sometimes wears a wide-brimmed hat, and generally a brown vest.
He seems to have a penchant for things of a Steampunk nature.

History
Feli has been in the fandom since about 1990, finding his way onto FurryMUCK around 1992 and has had a character there ever since. For a time, Feli was involved in Furry Space RP on the muck, but has since relaxed his RPing due to real-life time constraints.

Feli, as the name indicates, started off as a black and white housecat, and went briefly through various other species before settling on his current phenotype of a rabbit in or around 1999. The full name of Felinaeus has been shortened to Feli for ease of use, and is now the more common name used.

Fandom Involvement
Local Communities
Feli was a part of the now mostly defunct Ottawa, Ontario Furries group (OttFur), until he relocated in 2005 with his mate, MAnlantrio, to Montreal, Quebec. Since his move he has become a steadfast member within the Monfur community.

Conventions
From 2002 to 2007 Feli was on the staff for C-ACE, having been a co-chairman in 2004.

In 2007 and 2008, he was on the staff for a local Montreal Sci-Fi convention, Con*Cept, as the Art Show director, but stepped down as official staff in 2009 to persue another project, however he resumed the role as Art Show director in 2010.

Having started work on it in 2008, Feli was elected Chairman for the furry convention, What The Fur, being held annually in Montreal. The first event was on June 4-6 2010, the second instalment was the 3-5 of June 2011.

Feli has worked closely with other conventions such as Furnal Equinox, lending his time and expertise as a volunteer and security.

In 2010, Feli also joined the security staff for FurFright, and in 2011 became the Dead Dog Director.

Art and Writing
Feli has tried his hand at art and writing several times, though they are few and far apart.
Some of his works he keeps on his Fur Affinity page, though not many.

Radio
From 2001 until 2008, Feli ran an online radio station called DarkBunny Radio. He was the sole DJ for the station. As of April 2010, DarkBunny Radio is back on the air and broadcasting random music. There are currently talks for a podcast-type show to begin sometime around What The Fur.

Real Life
What The Fur (WTF?) is a convention that was first held 4-6 June 2010 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Origins
WTF? Was started as a response to the lacking of a major furry convention in either Eastern Ontario or Western Quebec, following the demise of both C-ACE and Anthrofest. The local Montreal communities of both MonFur and Francofur felt that the time was right to plan and hold a convention in the city of Montreal.

The name for the convention, What The Fur, was conceived over dinner when the core staff were trying to find a name that did not contain the words Anthro, Furry, or Fur. As is obvious, that effort failed as one of the exclaimed in frustration "What The Fur?!"

At the MonFur Xmas party in December 2008 it was officially announced that the convention was a go, and that Montreal would once again have a full fledged Furry Convention.

History
What The Fur 2010 took place on June 4-6, 2010 at the Espresso Hotel (Formerly the Days Hotel), attracting 232 attendees. The guests of honour were Max Blackrabbit and gNAW, and the convention held the theme of "Pirates vs. Ninjas".

What The Fur 2011 happened from June 3 to 5, 2011, returning to the Espresso Hotel. The Guests of Honour were Kalika Tybera and Demicoeur. The theme was "Zombie Apocalypse: Night of the Furry Dead"

What The Fur 2012 was held on the first weekend of June (1st to 3rd), and returned to the Hotel Espresso once again. The Guest of Honour was Karine "Kanthara" Charlebois, and the theme was "Creatures of the Night".

What The Fur 2013 was held over May 17-19, 2013, at the Delta Centre-Ville in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The Guest of Honour was HollyAnn, and the theme was "Fairy Tales".

What The Fur 2014 was held over May 23-25, 2014, at the Sheraton Montreal Airport in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. The Guest of Honour was Ookami Kemono, and the theme was "Steampunk".

What The Fur 2015 was held over May 22-24, 2015, at the Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. The Guest of Honour was Cat-Monk Shiro, and the theme was "Time Travellin' Furries".

What The Fur 2016 was held over May 20-22, 2016, at the Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. The Guest of Honour was Shinigamigirl, and the theme was "00Fur".

What The Fur 2017 will be held July 28-30, 2017, at the Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. The Guest of Honour will be ECMajor, and the theme is "What Thine Fur: Getting Medieval".

Connections
What The Fur does its best to work closely with other conventions and organisations, having formed close ties with Furnal Equinox, Condition, and until recently with FurFright, as well as several local conventions in the Montreal area. One goal of this is to foster resource sharing between conventions.

Charity
What The Fur holds an annual charity auction. All funds raised via the auction and donations are given to the EcoMuseum Zoo.

Funds Raised:
* 2010: $738.60

What The Fur 2016 was held over May 20-22, 2013, at the Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. The Guest of Honour was Shinigamigirl, and the theme was "00Fur".

* 2010: $738.60
* 2011: $2223.00

Connections
What The Fur does its best to work closely with other conventions and organisations, having formed close ties with Furnal Equinox, Condition, and until recently with FurFright, as well as several local conventions in the Montreal area. One goal of this is to foster resource sharing between conventions.

Charity

The Guest of Honour was Karine "Kanthara" Charlebois, and the theme was Creatures of the Night.

Real Life
Feli (real name Christopher Pilgrim, Born December 22, 1977)is a white male, Canadian, living in the Montreal area. He works for a large telecommunications company. Feli is polyamorous, however his main mate is MAnlantrio. In real life, with the exception of while at work, Feli is known to everyone as Feli, whether furries or not.

Feli has been called a Listener in the past, being someone approachable and always willing to lend an ear to anyone who just needs to talk.

Feli has only recently received his first partial fursuit, which was debued at Furnal Equinox in March 2010. He has since participated in several events (non-convention) in suit.

The goal was to either survive the weekend with your brain intact, or if a zombie, to convert as many people as you could. By a show of hands at the closing ceremonies, the zombies clearly won.

What The Fur 2012, the third run for What The Fur, is tentatively scheduled for June 1-3 at the Espresso Hotel in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The only reason this is tentative is due to the Formula 1 races. Should the Formula 1 committe decide to hold the races in Montreal on the first weekend of June, What The Fur will change dates to June 8-10. The theme is announced as being Creatures of the Night, and the announced Guest of Honour is to be Karine "Kanthara" Charlebois.

What The Fur 2012 has been announced as being the same time frame (either the first or the second weekend of June, depending on the Formula 1 Races) and returning to the Hotel Espresso once again. The Guest of Honour shall be Karine "Kanthara" Charlebois, and the theme shall be Creatures of the Night.

What The Fur 2011

What The Fur
What The Fur 2011, was the second incarnation of What The Fur, and was held June 3-5 at the Espresso Hotel in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The theme was Zombie Apocalypse: Night of the Furry Dead..

As of the closing ceremonies, the attendance at the convention was 221. The number of fursuiters that participated in the parade was 32, however there were approximately 10 additional suiters at the convention that did not participate.

The Charity was again be the St.Lawrence Valley Natural History Ecomuseum. The convention raised $2223 for the charity through auctions and donations.

Throughout the convention, all attendees and dealers were given the option of playing a weekend-long game of Furries vs. Zombies. The goal was to either survive the weekend with your brain intact, or if a zombie, to convert as many people as you could. By a show of hands at the closing ceremonies, the zombies clearly won.

Felinaeus:

In 2007 and 2008, he was on the staff for a local Montreal Sci-Fi convention, Con*Cept, as the Art Show director, but stepped down as official staff in 2009 to persue another project. However, Feli had stepped down and taken a volunteer role in this convention, however he resumed the role as Art Show director in 2010.

Having started work on it in 2008, Feli was elected Chairman for the furry convention, What The Fur, being held annually in Montreal. The first event was on June 4-6 2010, and the second installment will be held on the 3-5 of June 2011.

In 2010, Feli also joined the security staff for FurFright.

Real Life
Feli (real name Christopher Pilgrim, Born December 22, 1977)is a white male, Canadian, living in the Montreal area.
