The Chronicles follow the steps of this dragon (named Darastrix Ixen Vaeri, draconic for "dragon of the dancing fire") as he goes through life as a dragon orphan, meeting and leaving various origianal characters along the way.
==List of Playable Furry Characters==
*'''Lynx''' is the primary villain of the game, but through magic halfway through the game, the main player is allowed to play in his anthro '''lynx''' body.
*'''Draggy''' is a small baby '''dragon''' that you find in an egg who is the last of his kind. If you hatch him, he will join your party since he has no other place to go.
*'''Janice''', a bunny girl, similar to a [[catgirl]], is a monster trainer on board the S.S. Zelbess and can be recruited into your party when certain conditions are met.
*'''Irenes''' is a [[mermaid]], dedicated to convincing a pirate captain to help save her city Marbule from the creatures that have taken up residence in the town. She joins the party as they go to the ship to convince the captain to help.
*'''Pip''' is a creature of unknown species, although he does resemble something found in an anime.
*'''Poshul''' is a quadraped talking dog who is the first party member to join the protagonist on his journey.

==Methods of Recruitment==
*'''Lynx''' -Recruited automatically about halfway through the game.
*'''Draggy''' -Steal the '''Big Egg''' item from the dodo in '''Fossil Valley (Another World)'''and run away before you have to fight it. Then, once you go to '''Ford Dragonia (Home world)''', go down the elevator in the central area to the incubator room and place the '''Big Egg''' in the center incubator.
*'''Janice''' -Once free to move around the '''S.S.Zelbess''', go into the arena with her and defeat three of her monsters. This is easier said than done. A good trick is wait untill late in the game, equip sprigg with the '''Forget-Me-Not-Pot''' and take her to the '''Bend of Time''' to defeat some of the most powerful mosters and copy them. Janice should be easy at this point.
*'''Irenes''' -When staying in the apartment in '''Marbule (Home World)''', you will hear crying. Choose to stay up & investigate. Later, aboard the '''S.S. Zelbess''' and after '''Nikki''' invites you aboard his ship, agree to help in the plan to restore '''Marbule''' and talk to '''Irenes'''. She will join.
*'''Pip''' -On your first visit to '''Viper Manor (Another World)''', after you are let out of Luccia's cage, walk over to the left, talk to '''Pip''', and agree to unlock the cage quietly. Later, aboard the '''S.S. Invincible''' chase him to every corner of the below decks area, and he will agree to join.
*'''Poshul''' -At the very start of the game, run into the bar, go to the back room, and check the back for the '''Heckran Bone'''. Take the bone to the open field in the back, where '''Poshul''' is running around, and use it next to him. He will notice it and join your party.
