Eric Boot (born November 20th 1991) is a furry artist/cartoonist. He lives in a town situated in Hertfordshire, England and has Asperger's Syndrome, a mild form of autism. He first joined the furry fandom quietly in November 2005 (ahead of his 14th birthday) when he joined deviantART under the username, "imnotinsane".

He has also got accounts on SheezyArt and Fur Affinity, both under the name of "RevengeBoot" (despite the fact that he left SheezyArt for good in the Spring of 2006).

Fursona
His main fursona, Jace, is a pretty mysterious character. He is definitely an anthro character, with animal and human likenesses like other fursonas, but his proper species still remains unknown, even to Eric himself. He pointed out once on deviantART that he made up his fursona very randomly, hence the reason why his species is so mysterious. Often he's said to be a sort of feline/big cat character (kind of like a cross between a tiger and another animal related) but Jace's species is still mysterious, despite Eric himself proclaiming him to be a bit of a feline/big cat character after all.

He is often recognizable by his red and blue stripes and his orange "Joe Bloggs" t-shirt (which is a shirt that Eric himself usually wears in real life). He doesn't have a tail though, Eric once said that he was trying to draw a tail on him but it "didn't really look right" so he didn't put a tail on him in the end.

Crazy Jace
Eric has another fursona. His name is "Crazy Jace". The inspiration for the characther came from how mentally confused and "crazy" he became from all the abuse he has recieved almost constantly from bullies at a secondary school for children with Special Needs he used to go to before he started getting educated at home and from flammers and spammers on the internet. He was introduced onto deviantART in Febuary 3rd 2006 and onto FurAffinity, Febuary 7th 2006. More pictures of him haven't been shown on the internet ever since the first pic featuring him has been uploaded.

Spammers
Unfortunately, he is one of the main targets of a spammer on deviantART and it made Eric so hurt, he deleted all his works off of that account and then made an all-new, more successful account in secret (by the name of "RevengeZero"). He switched accounts in November 21st 2005 (right after his 14th birthday) but unfortunately, the spammer managed to stalk him in his new account and start harassing him all over again. Even worse is the fact that he gotten even worse publicity for it, especially when he went to people's pages and then seeing the spammer harass them too, which was something that Eric didn't really expect to happen.

Thankfully, after huge support from other targets and many of his friends, the spammer now very rarely comes back onto deviantART and Eric has continued posting art on deviantART since the Spring of 2006, when he felt a lot stronger about the whole thing.

Acclaim/Future
Many people say that Eric's work has a style like that of Simpsons-creator, Matt Groening (who is one of Eric's main inspirations) and his 4-part Christmas comic mini-series (made in 2005) has become a big success among his watchers and the anticipation of Eric making another comic strip series, or any other comic for that matter, is pretty huge.

Eric has announced on deviantART in October 3rd 2006 that his other character, Crazy Jace, will make a return. He'll be appearing in some new pics (and also a pic that was completed around the time he first made an appearance but never before seen anywhere on the internet) and Eric has also announced that Crazy Jace will be the main character of a full-length comic book series. He said that "Crazy Jace won't be himself in the comic strip, he'll look more-or-less exactly the same as always but his name and what he'll be like will be different. It's only for this long, long comic series though, just think of it like a movie and Crazy Jace is starring in the main role as a different person (kinda like movie stars starring in hollywood movies). I hope everybody understands this." The first issue is planned to be completed and uploaded onto deviantART and FurAffinity, Early Spring-Mid-Spring 2007 and a promo pic, to draw up anticipation for the project, is planned to be released onto both sites before January 2007. But until then, the storyline, the other characters and basically information on the project overall is being kept underwraps.

Eric is also eagerly awaiting his first furry-con appearance, saying that he might make an appearance at Anthrocon in 2010.

Norn
Ok, so i guess the question is, why is there a norn running around on the furry edit link ... it seems to hide if I try to interact directly. Do you have more info? -- Amar Shadowpaws 14:25, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

:I think his name is Hebe. He followed me over from the Creatures Wiki. I've not had the time to catch him and release him back into the wild yet. ==Thanks for coming to lunch ==

Here are my notes from our lunch. We will start working hard to get more information out on where the features and bug fixes are going. I really appreciated your support and encouragement, not too mention chatting with you at dinner Thursday. <br> Gil| <small>talk</small>

Just wanna say thanks for the greeting, I'll be sure to ask if I need help with anything ;)

Thanks for greeting me. I had to make my own page look a little spiffier ya know? :D

infoboxes ?
I copied Wikipedia:Template:Infobox Webcomic to Template:Infobox webcomic because I thought having webcomic infoboxes (such as the one at Wikipedia:Aozora) would be nice. The template partially works (example at User:EarthFurst). I'm guessing the rest of that template doesn't work because WikiFur doesn't have Template:If ? WP has Wikipedia:Template:If. --EarthFurst 05:22, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

:According to Splarka, it's due to a problem with tables and parserfunctions on Wikia. He going to try fixing it . . . --GreenReaper(talk) 05:34, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

::Hmm, the infobox was working beautifully at TwoKinds, but doesn't seem to be working now. I've posted question to wikia's Help desk on the matter http://www.wikia.com/index.php?title=Forum:Wikia_hiccup_%3F&t=20060817035856 . I'm reverting TwoKinds until the error is resolved. I'll be re-checking User:EarthFurst to see when the infox starts working again. --EarthFurst 05:03, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Did you know?
Rod O'Riley's band Illegal Operation will be performing live as part of the furry programming track at this month's Worldcon in the Los Angeles area. Do you think it would be a reasonable use of the Did you know? box to add an entry for this to help draw attention to it? Thanks! --Frizzy 16:39, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

:Don't see why not. That whole section could do with a full update. --GreenReaper(talk) 16:56, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

::I just got some bad news that the concert event had to be cancelled due to issues out of their control, so I revised the entry. --Frizzy 05:33, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Anthrocon
I just added the next theme of AC yesterday but I shortly deleted it thinking that it's not 2007 yet and it would be better to add that theme a month before and *then*, someone else added the same thing very shortly after I deleted that off!

Grrrrrrrrr...that sort of ticked me off. Wait a minute, why am I talking about it in my own user talk? ^^; (don't know where to talk about these sort of things really apart from my own talk, sorry I'm still pretty new)
