King Elliott Ingonyama the First is the reigning monarch of the Isle of Naboombu (sometimes spelled Naboomboo). Crowned on the 1st of August, 2006, he succeeded King Leonidas (Naboombu's first monarch). When not in Naboombu, King Elliott can often be found in Central Florida, on ancestral lands given to King Leonidas.

While governing Naboombu is a full time job, King Elliott still finds time to support his chosen cause, defending the rights of anthropomorphic animals. As part of this effort, he often hosts functions for other anthropomorphic nobility both on his own lands and at other events where they congregate (see Elliott's Live Events).

Merge with Simba (person)
I'm tempted to suggest we keep this one separate, because it's a character who is also the mascot of a gathering. I'm not sure how separate Simba the fursona is from Ingonyama the First, of course. --GreenReaper(talk) 17:55, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

From fursonal experience, King Elliott is kept very separate from Simba, in fact it took me some time to divine who was behind Elliott at one of their live events. I was told it is not the same furson as Elliott is the figure-head (and it may not be Scott who is Elliott's 'friend' that time) . Just what I've heard. ErrorWolf 02:50, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

We are a completely separate lion from Simba. While Simba may rule over his pride, he has no kingdom.

Merge?
Further thoughts on merging this? Perhaps this and Simba should both be incorporated into an article about and at Scott Garron. -- Sine 17:36, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

We are not Scott Garron, nor are we Simba.

ElliottIngonyama:

So, after doing some research, it looks like only one event has actually been held so far, with a second one planned. I think, at this point, it is a little misleading to use phrases in the article like "four major events", when it would seem that only one event has been held. --Douglas Muth 14:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

We have already hosted 2 of our quarterly events, with 60 attendees at the first and 130 at the second and already have 97 registered guests at our third event (just about a month out). At our previous two quarterly events, 50% of the guests registered the week of the event, so we expect quite a few more guests for this one. We have also already hosted one of our non-quarterly events (Elliott's Impromptu Pizza Party in the Zoo) at AnthroCon 2007, providing pizza for several hundred guests. Please feel free to read the Florida Furs archive, the JacksonvilleFurs Yahoo Group, or Carolina Furs Yahoo Group for Verification. The description "one of the four quarterly major Elliott's Live Events" differentiates between the quarterly events and the others that Elliott's Live Events runs. The quarterly events are always standalone events while the other are hosted at other events.
