Eli Sin:

Flagging for both NPOV and disputed content. Several statements are made that could be potentially controversial, but no source material is offered. WikiFur has a standard of verifiability that must be upheld, particularly when making broad, potentially damaging claims. --CodyDenton 02:08, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Umm, how can I get this article blanked out? Only thing people seem to do with it is slander me on it. --Eli_Sin

e621 is a mature image board replacement for Sidechan, founded in February 2007. A general audience image board, e961, once complimented this site. As of June 2011, the site hosts over 125 thousand active images ranging from non-sexual images to extreme fetishes and boasts more than 39 thousand users. In August 2010, the website ended its operations briefly due to David Ross, aka Insane Kangaroo, with alleged connections to Dragoneer, fact lodging accusations of child pornography and copyright infringement with the principle hosting company. The site returned to normal operation under a new owner on September 8, 2010. E621 is currently running on the Ouroboros branch of Danbooru and ruby on rails.

Policies and content
e621 makes use of a DNP list, and takedown requests are honoured when following the guidelines of the Takedown page (http://e621.net/static/takedown). Images that are removed are also blacklisted to prevent posting.

Registration requests for inclusion on the site by artists and users might or might not be moderated by e621's staff, depending on the amount of spammers or trolls they are being hit with.

Uploading of photographic child pornography or bestiality media is not permitted, and uploading of images from paysites is discouraged, with the exception of a few images (usually for publicity purposes).

Additionally, any post could be deleted without notice if they fail to meet a standard of quality as determined by the moderators (poorly drawn or badly compressed art), though this is uncommon.

Site status
The site was closed down on September 17th, 2007, citing on its front-page that claims had been made against the site for hosting child pornographyfact and only the Oekaki board and the IRC channel remained active.

e621 became active again on November 26th, 2007, under the banner e621 2.0. It was forced offline for a few days over Christmas 2007 during the same DDoS attack that struck Fur Affinity and Fchan.

On August 30, 2010, the website's main page was replaced with a small note saying that e621 would be permanently shut down due to "numerous threats to our host, false claims of illegal content, harassment and a few things that are much worse." This time, only the IRC channel remained active.

On August 31, 2010, it was announced that the site will simply be resuming with a new admin, Varka, after a short downtime.fact Announced changes to the site include an updated takedown policy to amend some of the issues leading to the threats issued in previous days.fact

As of September 1, 2010 a site by the same name has appeared in the guise of Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5, as confusing as this is, both are different only due to the WWW prefix. That, or the old one was obsolved by Adobe, while the new one is using the WWW prefix.

Anonymous of Jacksonville says e621 simply has a messed up DNS record for the base domain, but the WWW subdomain is still correctly configured. Either the record's TTL hasn't yet expired (in the case of hacking or hostile takeover, this is a good thing) or someone somewhere has made a silly mistake. (When the site is typed in with, and without WWW it goes to Varka's page, the site itself depending how you reach it will send you to either by a 50/50 chance, it's easier to just put in WWW with it.)

On September 8, 2010 the website was passed from Arcturus to Varka. Varka has implemented a newer, more artist-friendly takedown policy. There will also be more artist involvement that includes obtaining prints from Inkbunny and going to the artist's chosen website for commissions.

Mascot controversy
Early in 2010, the owners of e621 were looking for a mascot to adorn the site. After asking the site's users to come up with their own ideas, a poll was opened to decide on which character should be selected. However, a few weeks afterwards the poll was closed prematurely as it came to light that one of the contestants had been rigging the contest by signing up many alts through proxies to vote his mascot up. In response to this, the administrators announced that they would select a mascot among themselves. After deliberation, they selected a five character mascot team from the leaders of the poll, featuring characters by Mellis, Chizi, Keishinkae, Darkdoomer and Manafox.

e961
In July 2009, a work-safe counterpart, e961, was brought online. Unfortunately, in November 2009 it was aliased to the original site due to traffic issues caused by the popularity of e621. However, users who want to view only safe for work content can use the "rating:safe" tag to exclude all mature content from e621, except banner adverts which will still include adult content. Images can also be filtered by placing ratings (i.e. rating:explicit) on the tag blacklist.

SOPA
On 18 January 2012, e621 joined many other sites in protesting SOPA, by taking down it's page and replacing it with the page that stated for others to congressmen, being entirely generated by user content, e621 was a high risk target under the SOPA legislation, and took the site down with others for the protest.

Eli Sin (Elizabeth Sin) is a 14 year old Dryeena, a race of genderless hyena-dragons. She is the mascot of furryplay and the retired fursona of Aurali.
Character's History
Eli was born a bit different from most of her species, she was born with translucent wings. according to the religion of her species, this is a sign she was destined to save the planet.

Around ten, her tribe took her and began to train her as the high priestess of this religion, as well as different kinds of weapons training, martial arts, and lore.

Around fourteen, She was kidnapped by an assassin who didn't have the heart to kill a child, and taken to the capital city of the empire in which this story takes place. From there she loses her faith, becomes a fallen priestess and begins to sell her skills in return for enough money to survive off of.

As of march, 2010. The story has not continued.

Traits
Eli is loud, slightly obnoxious and very naive. She tends to favor money over doing a well job, however in situations regarding the morale of other characters, she will stand up and fight... usually trying to con a buck out of them afterwords.

Eli tends to also be proud, straight forward as well as determined and stubborn.

Family
Eli's family consists of two other dryeena, as well as an adopted kangaroo brother.
Maltoran Sin as her mother, and Jasmine Puri as her father. Her brother has the name Jacob Sin.

Furryplay is one of the furry fandom's largest video websites; having it's roots on a dead proboards board.
* Address: http://furryplay.com
* Founder: Eli Sin
* Administrators: Eli Sin, Shattered Soul
* Ran from/to: April 19, 2007 - present

Services
The site's objective is to create a primarily user-controlled environment based on suggestions, threads, and content posted by users, as well other things a user might be able to think of. Following this, the site atmosphere is very laid back, as users can be more productive in the shaping of furryplay then most other sites.

Archive
The site contains a user driven archive, loosely based primarily off of yiffstar's archive system. It allows users to upload their works, then lets a reviewer check to see if the work is furry or not.

The archive goes under changes almost weekly, and there are plans on starting Stories and Images; while attempting to keep the focus primarily on movies.

Chat
Starting November, 2008, Furryplay launched a irc-based java chat for furryplay. The chat uses Synirc.net for running the chat on the channel #holegan.

Forum
The site allows users to post topics on a variety of topics, ranging from sexuality to requests for art. The forum is ran by a group of moderators to make sure topics are age appropriate for the sections they are in.

Eli Sin (Elizabeth Sin) is a Striped Dryeena, Half Striped Hyena, half Dree (an imaginary race of fuzzy, hermaphrodite dragons). Shi has two mates and over 30 pets. Hir character is 20 years old

Hir Pets
Out of everything shi is known for, most people recognize hir for hir massive pet collection. Unlike a lot of other owners however, Eli doesn't take in new pets as sex toys, shi takes them because, "shi loves to love, and loves to be loved," how little sense that might seem to be.
Many are not sure as to how shi is so able to gain these pets with such ease, we asked one of them earlier today. The pet (Submissive wolf: #23) replied, "im not sure how mistress does it, but once shi gets her furry paws on your soul you can't help but be hir pet."

Dree
Drees are a hermaphrodite race of dragons. Fuzzy in nature. They are an imaginary race. Social and intelligent, the magic using species live there life in a hierarchy

History
Elizabeth Sin was born a full Striped Hyena, yet through a magical traits, found hir dree hood as well. She was born November 14 1986, from hir parents Alice and Dazriel. Shi was a strange child at first, talking to inanimate objects and trying to learn to fly.

Hir school years were awkward, and they flew by for hir though, because shi had the help of her best friend Amie Flyx. Amie was the only other person to care for Eli, and after school ended, they entered the military together for the war.

After the war ended, they went there separate ways, and Eli was alone again. Soon after, however, shi found the love of her life, Joel Grigori, and mated him. There they spent countless months together, just talking about things that happened, and living life.

Yet sometime later, Eli fell in love again with a strange Dree named Synge Embyr. Synge saw Eli, and after a few weeks talking to hir, Eli mated hir as well. This however. led to some strange thing ending in a strange love triangle that left Eli torn, and made hir half dree. This is still going on today, and Elizabeth attempts to sort hir life out.

Eli Sin
Elizabeth Sin is a 20 year Striped Dryeena, Half Hyena, half Dree. She lives her life caring for her 30+ pets, and her two mates. Usually just a chatty fur, she will spend hours doing nothing but talking to anyone.

Her Pets
Out of everything she is known for, most people recognize her for her massive pet collection. Unlike a lot of other owners however, Eli doesn't take in new pets as sex toys, she takes them because, "she loves to love, and loves to be loved," how little sense that might seem to be.

Dree
Drees are a hermaphrodite race of dragons. Fuzzy in nature. They are an imaginary race. Social and intellegent, the magic using species live there life in a hierarchy

History
Elizabeth Sin was born a full Striped Hyena, yet through a magical traits, found her dree hood as well. She was born November 14 1986, from her parents Alice and Dazriel. She was a strange child at first, talking to inanimate objects and trying to learn to fly.

Her school years were awkward, and they flew by for her though, because she had the help of her best friend Amie Flyx. Amie was the only other person to care for Eli, and after school ended, they entered the military together for the war.

After the war ended, they went there separate ways, and Eli was alone again. Soon after, however, she found the love of her life, Joel Grigori, and mated him. There they spent countless months together, just talking about things that happened, and living life.

Yet sometime later, Eli fell in love again with a strange Dree named Synge Embyr. Synge saw Eli, and after a few weeks talking to hir, Eli mated hir as well. This however. led to some strange thing ending in a strange love triangle that left Eli torn, and made her half dree. This is still going on today, and Elizabeth attempts to sort her life out.
