hey im new to the fandom and i want to check out next years convention be cause its the closest to me and i have som question.(the reason i dont go now is beacuse i dont have the money to get there not to mention its on a school night so i cant make it anyway)

In a nutshell, to attend FWA or any other furry convention, you will need to register and pay the registration fee (and if you're under 18, pay close attention to the parts about minor attendees). And there is no requirement to have a fursuit, and many furry fans (probably a majority) don't have one. I've been to more than 20 conventions myself and have never owned or worn a fursuit. == History ==

Khajiit originate from the province of ''Elsweyr'', and vary greatly in appearance depending on which phases of the moons ''Masser'' and ''Secunda'' are present at birth.

All breeds of Khajiit are typically very quick and agile, and some of them are also quite intelligent as well - this makes them naturally suited to the arts of thievery. They have a weakness for everything sweet (notably the [[w:Drug|drug]] known as ''skooma'', which is distilled from a substance called ''moon-sugar''), and are especially more prone to become drug-addicts compared to other races. Originaly in arena they looked just like an average man yet in dagger fall they took a more "cat like" apperance with some fur and a tail. Then in morrowind they turned full anthro but with permenantly bent legs. In oblivion they kept the anthro look but removed the bent legs, then finaly in Skyrim they took the khajiit's apperance as less lion-y and more like a house cat.

==Regarding Tora's Page and My Activity==
Hello. It is my sincere opinion, stated in different fora, that exposing incidents such as this publicly are in the best interest of the fandom. First, Tora poses a significant threat to minors because of his legal past, and having engaged in two recent sexual conversations thinking them to be minors. One of these conversations was the fictitious baiting, but the other (which the newly posted Dragoneer log details) was not. This makes it very probably a serious crime. This fact alone makes the posting of the new information completely valid.

The new Dragoneer log also shows willful deception on Tora's part on such a serious issue, which is alarming.

By having such information about such an individual on Wikifur, which is widely known as a repository of information for the furry fandom, it furthers the chance that convention administrators and other elements of the community can make wise choices about Tora's participation, especially where minors are concerned.

Exposing such incidents in-depth and showing genuine community concern (which has been clearly expressed,) is much better for the public perception of furry than ommitting them or trying to cover them up. When (probably not if, given its growing size) there is a serious child abuse case regarding the fandom, the first question to be asked will be, "Did this community and its leaders respond fully to convicted or admitted sex criminals?"

::I'm no expert on images, and when I work with them often have to refer to other articles that have them to remember what the parameters are on the image template (there are some examples in [[Help:Editing]]). The answer to your question is basically whatever looks good. You can upload the image in whatever size you have it (as long as it's not too huge), then use the size parameter in the image template (e.g. '200px') to resize it in the articles you use it in. 150-300 pixels wide is usually a good size for most avatar/conbadge type images, depending on the aspect ratio and other factors. A little bit ago I was trying to handle a situation where a new user had uploaded an image with a "generic" filename, in this case Example.jpg, for which there was an existing file by the same name, and he apparently had simply replaced the existing image with the new one. What I would like to have done, but couldn't figure out how, was to "fork" both the new and old versions, i.e. to rename the image per the new version, then revert the redirect to point to the old one (which I was also going to rename to something more meaningful than Example.jpg). As far as I was able to determine, the only way to do this was to save one of the versions of the image and re-create it as a new image. Do you know of a better way to do this? Incidentally, it turned out the old version was being referenced by [[User:Ratty913|only one user page]], and the overwritten version of the image was uploaded more recently and by a different user, and therefore was probably not the one intended by the userpage author, so it is now effectively a deleted image, though in actuality it still lives on in the version history of the [[:File:MorinWolf.jpg|renamed image]]. --[[User:Mwalimu|mwalimu]] 16:52, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
