Dustin is a fur based on Neopets and Anthros.

History and backstory of Character
He began life as a normal human boy growing up in the happy streets of Adelaide, Australia. He enjoyed his art classes and often wrote stories that went on for pages without end. One day he had just finished maths class with one of the worst teachers in the school and was talking to himself in his head.

He started walking across the road on his way home, thinking of how horrible his life was and how he wanted a truck to just run him over. Strangely enough, his prayers had been granted and he was hit by a passing pickup and then taken to hospital. An accident caused him to die for a few moments while he lay in bed, because he wasn’t connected to any machine it was never detected. This for some strange reason drew the attention of Ice, Captain of the Arcangel and sole survivor of a species that was eliminated thousands of years ago. He went against his better judgment and saved him.

Several hours latter, Dustin, known as Luke then, was released from the hospital, only for the military to have different intentions and go after Ice. In that time, in order for easy tracking and rescue, Ice released several wolves into the hospital and sent them after Luke, each one with the ability to transform him into what ever his mind thought was appropriate. When he escaped from the hospital he was picked up some short time latter by Ice who accidentally hit him with an energy weapon causing him to transform forcefully.

He was taken to the Arcangel and nursed back to health and was released back to the earth community with a holographic disguise. Only to be discovered by his English teacher and reported to the military and he had no other choice but to return to the Arcangel, taking his friends with him and losing his left arm in the process. Soon after he was informed of his unique abilities when the Arcangel was under siege and he was left to rescue the whole ship. His uniqueness forces him to remain hidden in the back allies and side streets of the Arcangel, and his abilities are forcefully suppressed his proper name replaced with Dustin Varun to protect him.

Dustin now travels across dimensions getting in contact with friends. altho he spends most of his time on the ArcAngel using the net. and drawing his web comic 'Angels'.
