It seems like this wiki is low key dying. There doesn't seem to be much activity on it. A good amount of pages seem to be going out of date. And just recently, on December 16th, I saw a huge amount of spam users created in the recent changes section. If this wiki is dying, it is truly a shame because it was this very one that helped me discover my first furmeet.

Dunked0n:

Most conventions have a freebie table, where fliers and ads can be placed by people attending the convention. Among things you might find on a freebie table:

* Fliers for other conventions
* Fliers for room parties.
* Fliers for dealers in the dealers room.
* Fliers for websites that are related to the fandom
* Stickers

Sometimes conventions also have Scratching Posts which may serve similar functions.

Whelpday is a Furspeech term for "Birthday." Alt.lifestyle.furry currently runs the furry tradition called the The Whelpday Care Package, where as, any furs with birthdays during a particular time period will receive whelpday wishes from the denizens of The Homestead. One of the best known Whelpday wishers is, of course, the Whelpday Mousette.

Variations
Hatchday or hatchling day is the Featheries and Scalies term.

Foaling day is the furry equine fan term.

Another variant of this term being used frequently is Borkday. A more direct version that is a portmanteau of "Bork" (a mutation of "Bark"), and "Birthday"

WikiFur:IRC

2021-11-21T11:24:57Z

Dunked0n: /* Mac */ fixed error

WikiFur's IRC channel (chat room) serves as a place for general furry chit-chat (though you may find more people on Anthrochat or FurNet), as well as a method of quickly notifying curators of vandalism in progress, or a convenient way to ask questions.

If you ask a question, please wait for someone to answer (may be hours; if no one is around, you can also leave a message at the help desk ).
