DeVandalizer: revert edit (please provide a citation or reference for such remarks)

[[Image:Mik Genocide.jpg|thumb|Mik Genocide]]
'''Mik Genocide''' (aka '''SmackHead-Mik''') is an antagonistic psychopathic [[Hyena]]. He is the frontman for a hardcore band called [[Arc Of Vomit]], and can often be found in IRC. Mik is a SEVERE candy addict, his daily candy budget being 8 to 15 dollars a day spent on candy.(usually twix and wild berry skittles as those are his favorites) This habit is only rivaled by his downfall as a habitual chain smoker.

Thanks for your assistance with the recent vandalism. May I ask your point of origin? -- [[User:Siege|Siege]]([[User talk:Siege|talk]]) 05:48, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
* My point of origin is the midwestern united states. No problem helping out with the recent flood of vandalism (wonder where it's comming from, seems to be coordinated somehow). I hate seeing a great resource become the target of such meaningless and rather stupid attacks. Still trying to figure out the quirks of this particular wiki - I hope all of my reverts were correct (esp. what appeared to be subtle vandalism).

::Well, hopefully, you have. With the particular flood rate, it's probably a handful of people with access to some web proxies. -- [[User:Siege|Siege]]([[User talk:Siege|talk]]) 05:57, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
:::Thanks for the warm welcome :) . I hope to be here for some time. [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 06:00, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

==Vandalism and previously reverted nice comment==
Sorry about not signing in when I left my other comment earlier (the nice one posted before it was edited by the vandal) [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 05:56, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

:Thanks and welcome aboard. I assumed the [[User talk:Frizzy|unsigned message]] you left was from a vandal because the IP address [http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=199.77.129.53 199.77.129.53] was also used to vandalize the article [http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=WikiFur&action=history WikiFur]. --[[User:Frizzy|Frizzy]] 06:26, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
::Sorry about that, I use a proxy of sorts myself (tor) as I have a great need for privacy (yeah, well I guess I am just a bit paranoid). Thanks for the welcome to WikiFUR. I am glad I could help out -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 06:29, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

:::Ahh, Tor. Yes, we had quite a bit of fun from that - 1500 edits in 30 minutes as I recall. It's a good thing the Wikia server admins and helpstaff were on the ball. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 07:36, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
::::Well now that I have an account here I don't need to use it so much anymore. :) I can't really control the actions of other tor users, it's a pitty such a great resource is ruined by inconsiderate people. At least tor maintains a blacklist of all exit nodes in use so abuse can be quickly black-holed. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 07:44, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for helping with the latest round of vandalism. It looks like some twit from pol.co.uk was obtaining new addresses via DHCP to evade bans. So I banned the /16s involved, which should help deal with the issue. --[[User:Dmuth|Giza]] 21:04, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
:No Problem.. Hopefully it won't become a massive coordinated flood-- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 21:06, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
::It appears to have been the work of one user. And I'm about to send a complaint off to his ISP, since what he did almost certainly violates their AUP. --[[User:Dmuth|Giza]] 21:07, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
:::I might check with GreenReaper before firing off a complaint... in my experience it tends to encourage them. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 21:08, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
::::Oh, we've discussed this exact scenario before. --[[User:Dmuth|Giza]] 21:11, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
:::::All 'righty then :) -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 21:13, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

:::::: Following up on this, I heard back from the perp's ISP today. They have "taken action" as per their AUP. They can't tell me what was done due to the usual data privacy laws, but I see that as an encouraging sign. --[[User:Dmuth|Giza]] 18:48, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

== Person exclusion without current article ==

Within the last few minutes I've had the misfortune of encountering a situation with which I've had no prior experience -- an unregistered user has removed a single name from the [[:Category:People/People to add]] page. I had reverted the change once and the same IP has made the change again. I've now left a message on their [[User talk:69.231.20.143|talk page]] about removing information without reason and a link to our personal information policy. I then reverted the change again. I think that the specificity of these edits might indicate that this IP is of the person concerned and I would greatly appreciate advice on how to procede if they should decide to edit the page again without providing more information to us. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 19:19, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

:In this specific case, I don't think there's a real problem with removing names on the People to add list. It actually saves time over us having to go through the process of excluding an article later (unless someone makes it via another link). There's not much "information" in just a name. :-)

:In general, there's no need to tell people they're going to be banned for removing stuff in the first instance, except in very bad situations. [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Assume good faith|Assume good faith]] - chances are, they ''are'' that person, and are just not particularly interested in having an article. Be welcoming, and then you will probably get a better response from that person (and they will have a better impression of WikiFur, so we avoid situations like [http://thefoxes.livejournal.com/26151.html this]). --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 20:50, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

::You make many excellent points. In retrospect it seems obvious that they would be that person and that I really should have assumed good faith. In the future I'll be a bit less intense. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 06:07, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

== New Featured Article ==
I wouldn't mind taking over the duty of writing the summary for featured articles for this week. I looked for something to write about but I can't really find any consensus on the featured article candidates page. What articles would you suggest? -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 05:37, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

:I would suggest that you have a look at some of the [[Special:Longpages|long pages]] and see if there are any on there that have not been featured. Longness in and of itself is not a sign of greatness, but articles should have ''some'' length to be featured, so it's a good start. Once you think you've found a good choice, try to condense the gist of it down into three or four fairly short paragraphs, with appropriate links to other articles, and [http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=WikiFur:This_week%27s_featured_article/Week_27%2C_2006&action=edit replace the redirect with it]. Have a look at [http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=WikiFur:This_week%27s_featured_article/Week_26%2C_2006&action=edit last week's] examples of formatting and linking. And good luck! --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 05:49, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

== Question ==

Sorry to bother you DeVandalizer, I recently began hearing about you and your cause, I just wanted to ask a question, if someone messes with any of the pages I made (I mean '''REALLY''' messes like what happened to Spaz Kitty), I should report the "damage" as well as their user name to you, right? if so, I'm glad there is someone who will take the fight to these vandals, thanks for your time. - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 11:26, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
:First off it's no bother.. I appreciate your taking the time to thank me for my work. However I do not really take the fight ''to'' the vandals I have to wait for them to come to me. I usually watch [[Special:Recent Changes]] for new edits and check to see if the edits are valid. Because I and the other admins check all the edits made there's no real need to report each incident to me personally (though I appreciate the offer). However, if there is a major vandalism in progress you could email greenreaper, myself, or another admin for help in reverting/steming the tide or blocking the offending user. However, one of the best features of the wiki is that everyone can contribute equally -- if you see damage you can fix go right ahead and fix it :) . To spare you from a long drawn out speech I'll say this about reverts -- Unless its patently nonsense or without any value to the article don't delete it, edit it instead or as wikipedia says [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Assume Good Faith|assume good faith]]. The best advice I can give is to use "common sense" in deciding what action to take. If you have any questions aren't sure of what to do feel free to contact one of the "admins" or another contributor for help. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 14:09, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

== Spaz Kitty ==

what i mean when I was refering to her was back on her main page, someone totally messed with her page, completely vandalized it, you can see it in the history section for her page if you go to - http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=User_talk:Spaz_Kitty&diff=66989&oldid=66918 - I hope this further explains what I mean't - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 20:44, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

== Extinctioners page ==

Did you see what happened to my page, some guy named Longcat totally messed it up - http://furry.wikia.com/index.php?title=Extinctioners&diff=68938&oldid=68733 - but thatnks to Spaz Kitty, she fixed it, she really does good work, but has that guy been banned? - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 11:55, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
:Looks like they were blocked for 1 month. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 23:03, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

== Dragon Lady pic placement ==

Hey DeVandalizer, I just wanna ask you a question about your pic placement edit on the Dragon Lady page, I noticed you moved the Dargon Lady pic towards the top of the page and left the other where it was, I was wondering if its ok to move the other pic towards the top also (jus to to make the placement even, you know), let me know what you think? - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 11:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
:Usually article text starts in the upper left corner of the article frame. This convention allows for a more consistent structure between articles which allows the reader to find what they're looking for more easily. The reason I made this edit to improve consistency with the other articles, not because you're original correction was in any way wrong it's just that it, in my opinion, more closely follows the de facto article format.
::Oh, I see, I understand, thank you for the reply, I just though I would ask before I did something that would be disapproved of, I just have this thing about order & placement but from you told me, I see where you coming from, do you want me to go an do similar things to other related character pages connected with Extinctioners? - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 11:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
:::No problem, I appreciate you asking me what I was doing rather than just undoing it. It will be good working with you to better the wiki. I really appreciate your efforts. I like your suggestion of changing the other Extinctioners character's pages to match. I'll help out later (bed time now) :) -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 11:31, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

== Contact ==

This might be an odd question but you wouldn't have yahoo messenger by any chance, would you? I thought it would be easier in terms of communication, instead of "chatting" on each others usertalk pages, if you do and you would like to discuss certain topics concerning Wikifur and its articles using yahoo messenger, let me know but if you prefer not to, I understand - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 13:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
:I don't really use any IM but you can reach me by e-mail using the e-mail this uesr link at my user page. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 05:14, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

== ED ==

Currently, 2 of our admins are minors. One other person was, but he's 18 now. Also, link me to where a lawsuit was threatened outside of the DMCA format. Also, how can you have a sentence as ridiculous as "Some in the community beleve that this rivalry may exist because wikipedia gives uncyclopedia its blessing and while it does not bless Encyclopedia Dramatica." and claim NPOV while keeping a straight face? I have no problem with you guys insulting ED, but when you try to keep an NPOV wiki and you keep it like that, you do no one a favor. [[User:71.112.141.236|71.112.141.236]] 11:25, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
:You're right.. It needs more fixing. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 11:40, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
::Relating to Wikipedia's blessing - since Uncyclopedia is a wikicity (or whatever it's called now) the two are owned by Jimbo anyway. So of course Uncyclopedia is where Wikipedians go to get their lulz. Also, ED is much crueler than Uncyclopedia to Wikipedia. But the sentence is still useless and should be left out in my opinion. [[User:71.112.141.236|71.112.141.236]] 11:47, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
:::I think the sentence should be rephrased to indicate this new information and not deleted as it is important to explaining the "possible" rivalry. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 11:51, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
::::When you have two humor based wikis with many contributors, there's gonna be a rivalry. That's where the rivalry comes from. [[User:71.112.141.236|71.112.141.236]] 11:54, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
:::::Then the competing viewpoints should be noted and explained. That's true NPOV. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 11:55, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
::::::Okay. Then the real reason we don't like Uncyclopedia is because they're notoriously unfunny =) (only black can balance white, not gray). [[User:71.112.141.236|71.112.141.236]] 12:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
:::::::I liked your earlier explaination better, it's more logical and doesn't really rely on personal opinion. I find uncyclopedia to be funny without being offensive, unlike encyclopedia dramatica (in my opinion). I think that putting up both viewpoints would be NPOV. -- [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]] 12:09, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

The Accidental Centaurs

2006-07-23T06:25:10Z

DeVandalizer: %formatting

[[Image:accidentalcentaurs.png|right|frame|The cast of ""Accidental Centaurs""]]'''''The Accidental Centaurs''''' is a [[webcomic]] created and drawn by John Lotshaw. It debuted on [[January 15]] [[2002]].

The strip follows the ongoing adventures of Alex and Sam, two scientists from Earth who had been working on a [[teleportation]] system. During testing, the system explodes, opening a [[wormhole]] to an [[Parallel universe (fiction)|alternate universe]]. There, they find themselves [[Shapeshifting|transformed]] into [[centaur]]s (or, more accurately, transformed into something so strange that their minds perceive them as centaurs to protect their sanity). Their arrival is noted by the W!rxn, (The "!" is pronouncoued as a click of the tongue) a race of [[Omniscience|omniscient]] beings that watch over the parallel universe, who believe them to be fulfillment of an ancient [[prophecy]]. They are given a [[finger ring|ring]] which contains Lenny, a [[Genie|djinn]] who is supposed to be their guide and protector (but usually ends up insulting them more often than not).

===Stories===
{{spoiler}}
====Book I: ''Lair of the Insectaurs''====
In Book I, Sam is [[kidnapping|kidnapped]] by a [[hive]] of half-[[human]]/half-[[insect]] creatures. She is fed [[royal jelly]] and is transformed into a [[Queen bee|queen]]. Lenny and Alex attempt to rescue her, and are drawn into a web of intrigue between the insectaurs and [[spider]]-like beings that live in the [[catacombs]] under the insectaur hive.

A print edition of Book I, annotated by John Lotshaw, was originally scheduled for publication by Moonbase Press in February [[2004]] but was finally published in April.

====Book II: ''Duty Now for the Future!''====
In Book II, Sam and Alex learn more about the prophecy they are intended to fulfill. We get our first look at otherSpace centaur [[society]] and are shown the neighboring countries of Tauria (home of the centaur race) and Tyria (home of [[satyr]] like creatures). Sam and Alex get dragged into a war between the two countries and the machinations of Malevolence, an evil outcast from the W!rxn.

New characters introduced are Glo (a sprite and an advisor to the royal family of Tauria), the Magistrate (leader of the Order, a pseudo-religious order responsible for overthrowing the royal family of Tauria), Major Dorim, Zort (a former general of the Taurian army who now leads a rebellion against the Order), and Bix (a young centaur boy in the resistance who is, unbeknownst to him, the long lost surviving member of the Royal family).

In several strips, however, Lenny takes a short side trip to his home dimension (dubbed "GenieWorld" and introduced in [[The Wotch]]). The details of that trip are just now being revealed as a bonus feature running on Sundays at the Wotch website.

====Accidental Wotch====
On [[March 21]] [[2005]], ''Accidental Centaurs'' and another webcomic, ''[[The Wotch]]'' started a two week crossover. Although the storyline was lighthearted in tone, it was to have lasting repercussions in both webcomics. The story was plotted by Thomas "Thom Khatt" Revor and scripted by Revor, "The Wotch" author [[Anne Onymous]] and AC author John Lotshaw. Both comics have referenced the encounter since then, and the crossover has had lasting consequences for both of them (Sam's magical powers and Anne's newfound, if limited, knowledge of Xaos). Even though the storyline ran concurrently with "Duty Now For the Future", it actually takes place after it.

In addition, Lenny comes from GenieWorld, a dimension first introduced in ''The Wotch'', and apparently was Angelique's teacher. The ties between the two comics become more intertwined with the start of the "Sunday Specials", a storyline taking place in the GenieWorld dimension and involving characters from both comics and shown on the Wotch website on Sundays.

====You Can't Go Home Again====
Drawing from [[Alan Moore]]'s award winning [[Superman]] story, "For The Man Who Has Everything", Alex falls under the spell of a mysterious plant that is mentally granting him his every desire. It is up to Sam and Lenny to rescue him from himself.

====Bride and Prejudice====
A guest comic written by Thomas "Thom Khatt" Revor and drawn by Darin "Naga" Brown, the story was a light-hearted romp involving a miscast spell from Sam (whose powers debuted in the Accidental Wotch storyline). The story introduced several new elements, including one of the bands of the nomadic centaurs.

====The White Flash====
A short story introducing major changes into the Accidental Centaurs storyline -- including some physical ones for our heroes!

====Hello To Arms====
Another guest comic written by Thomas "Thom Khatt" Revor and Darin "Naga" Brown and drawn by Brown, it focuses on the main character of Alex Tischenko and his quest to supplement his own abilities (as Sam is learning to control her new magical powers).

===Supplemental Features===
====Encyclopedia Accidentica====
Background information on the characters, environment, and world that the Accidental Centaurs takes place in.
====One-Shots & Guest Comics====
Featuring various fillers and other comics that doesn't necessarily fit into normal continuity.

yeah, its short for Sargeant, why, is this a problem, if so, please go ahead and fix/change it to Sargeant, ok & thank you & sorry if it has been a problem - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 21:13, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

:Spaz Kitty beat me to changing it. Not a problem--renaming/moving an article's a simple thing. I just wanted to check that [[Sargeant Greystoke]] was the right full title. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 22:23, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Hey Sine, I'm nearly removing those redundant see also's from the character pages, though I'd let you know, any suggestions though? - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 10:52, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

:That looks great. Thanks for letting me know. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 19:03, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
P.S. Looks like your talk page is getting pretty large--about time to archive. Let me or one of the other admins know if you want a hand with that. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 19:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

== RVDDP2501 talk page Archiving ==

Yes Sine, I think I could use a hand with archiving my talk page, please let me know what needs to be done, thanks - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 19:52, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

:Click on the tab to edit your talk page, and put something like
<nowiki>== Archive ==</nowiki> at the top, with
<nowiki>* [[/Archive1|Archive1]]</nowiki> (or however you want to name your archive). Once you've saved that change, you can treat that archive link like any red link--clicking on it will bring up a way to create and edit a page, so copy what you want to archive from your talk page into the new archive page, and delete it from your main talk page.

I hope that's clear; let me know if you want me to explain further. -- [[User:Sine|Sine]] 02:49, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

== Article Name changing ==

Hey Sine, RVDDP2501 here, I have a question, you remember when you talked to me about that Sgt. Greystoke page name situation, how did you go about changing it cause I have another page which [[Aelius]] make but he made a mistake with the character's sirname so I was wondering how would I go about fixing this cause I certainly don't want to make you fix it, that would not be fair, so let me know what to do when you have a chance, thanks - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 00:19, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Anthrocon 2006

{{Anthrocon}}

'''Anthrocon 2006''' took place from June 15 to 18, 2006. For the first time in its ten year history, [[Anthrocon]] was not held in July, but rather June 15 through June 18. This was one of a few changes that were brought about by the change of venue. to the [[wikipedia:David L. Lawrence Convention Center|David L. Lawrence Convention Center]] in [[wikipedia:Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania|Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania]].

* '''Theme''': Making History
* '''Attendance''': 2,489

[[Image:KageTalksToReportersAC2006.jpg|right|thumb|275px|[[:Category:Media coverage|Media coverage]] of the event was quite positive]]
After the [[Adams Mark]] was scheduled for demolition, Anthrocon was forced to seek new accomodations on very short notice. While the Wyndham Philadelphia locale was adequate during the [[Anthrocon 2005|2005]] convention, it was determined even before July 2005 that a new location would be required. As Philadelphia was showing no signs of providing an affordable venue that was acceptable to the demands and budget of a large-scale convention on terms that the convention directors could accept, the decision was made to switch to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The new facility, which features a separate hotel and convention space, appeared to alleviate any issues which had come up in the past conventions as well as provided enough space for a substantial [[Dealers Room]], [[Artists Alley]], and other 'permanent' programming space.

==Guests of Honor==
Anthrocon's [[Guest of honor|Guests of Honor]] for 2006 were:

==Interesting facts==
* A lone brick - all that remained from old Adams Mark hotel - was sold at the [[charity auction]] for $200.
* $5,845 was raised for the [http://www.wildanimal.org/ Western Pennsylvania National Wild Animal Orphanage]
* Pre-registered attendance counts topped at 2,489 people. This is a record over that of [[Anthrocon 2004]]. It also caused the "death" of one of the registration badge printers, specifically the printer which was responsible for the six-hour waits in the registration line at [[Anthrocon 2003]].
* The total of all on site registrations and one day passes over the entire 10-year history of Anthrocon was approximately 15,000.
* 191 fursuiters attended the [[fursuit parade]]
* [[2 the Ranting Gryphon]] was a notable appearance.

== Media coverage ==
Anthrocon 2006 was covered in the local media, beginning in February with a news brief item [[Fur Ball In the Works]] in the ''Pittsburgh City Paper''.

In June:
* [['Furries' Descend On Golden Triangle]] from ThePittsburghChannel.com
* [[Furries Descend On Pittsburgh]] broadcast and article from KDKA.
* [[It's a furry weekend]] in the ''Pittsburgh Tribune-Review''.
* [[All about 'furry fandom' at confab]] in the ''Pittsburgh Post-Gazette''.

Chakat (species)

DeVandalizer: +chakat image

[[Image:Chakat.png|thumb|right|50%|Chakat by [[User:DeVandalizer|DeVandalizer]]]]
'''Chakats''' are a [[felines|felinoid]] [[Taur]] [[:Category:Species|species]] once described as "Everybody's favourite over-perfected cat". They are the creations of [[Bernard Doove]].

Chakats have the lower body of any of the big cats, a humanoid torso, and anthro-feline faces. They have prehensile tails, are all functional [[hermaphrodite]]s, and all have feminine breasts. They have a fur coat, which varies in style, colour, markings, et cetera from individual to individual. The forepaws of their lower body are a hybrid of paw and hand, and function as a stronger, although clumsier pair of hands. Some also possess psionic empathic abilities.

In the [[Chakona Space]] universe, chakats were [[genetic engineering|designed]] as first-landing colonizers: in space, their extra arms allow them extra maneuverability, and when their colony ships land, they can act as their own heavy equipment. In addition, being herm allow their race to expand quicker than a normal colony.

Chakats have a complex mating system, including (in ascending order):
* ''companions'' - somewhere between best friend and lover
* ''denmates'' - those one formally brings into the family
* ''lifemates'' - those one wants to live with, grow old with, and die with

Additionally, a ''mateship of the heart'' denotes an unconsummated mateship, an unusual trait in the highly-physical chakat society.

Chakats have three major faults. First, they are large, which means they are unwieldy in cramped areas. Second, they have increased life support requirements, including air, food, and water. Finally, they can suffer from mild [[atavism]].

Chakats are main characters in the comic ''[[Apollo 9]]''. In this variant universe, chakats naturally evolved in Australia.

[[Image:KOL_furry.gif|right|The KOL Furry Tattoo]]

The '''Furious Furry Furries of Fury''' is by far one of the largest [[furry]] clans within [[Wikipedia:Kingdom of Loathing|Kingdom of Loathing]], a tongue in cheek [[wikipedia:MMORPG|MMORPG]] which pokes fun at its more serious, commercial siblings like [[wikipedia:EverQuest|EverQuest]], and the many fandoms that populate them ([[LARP]]ers, [[Anime]] Otaku, [[D&D|AD&D]] fanboys, [[wikipedia:Trekkie|Trekkers]] - and of course, [[Furries]]).

This particular furry KoL clan (also known as '''4F''') is lead by Clan Matriarch [[Trickster]], who, along her ragtag army of furry ''Seal Clubbers'', ''Turtle Tamers'', ''Pastamancers'', ''Saucerors'', ''Disco Bandits'' and ''Accordion Thieves'', try to use their combined ''Muscle'', ''Mysticality'' and ''Moxie'' powers to fight a neverending battle to prove that furries can fight as best as any other berserker KoL clan for their fair share of ''Meat'', ''Fame'', and a bowl of ''"Rat Appendix Chow Mein"''.

Smaller than most of the more legendary KoL clans, they will fight fiercely to prove that you just can't use them as your personal doormat. No, Sir... They will [[scritch]] you silly, muss your [[hair]], clog your hot tub with [[fursuit]] hair, and post [[Doug Winger]] pictures all over your stronghold walls '''before''' you use them as your personal, proud doormat.

KoL clan items that identifies this particular horde include the ''"[[Wolf]] Mask"'', the ''"Furry Pants"'', the ''"Furry Fur" vest'', plus the deadly ''"Disturbing [[Fanfic]]"'', a requirement for all members to wear the large '''L''' tattooed on their forehead, and a zany sense of humor necessary to venture forth within the lunacy that's the Kingdom of Loathing world. Remember...

DeVandalizer: fix format, still needs some love

'''My Little Pony: End of the Dream''' is a forum-based, "play by post" [[roleplaying]] continuum based on [[My Little Pony]]. The dominant [[species]] in Ponyland is the Pony, as might be expected, but there are also other animals, peculiar [[hybrid]]s, [[dragon]]s, and undead creatures.

Unlike the conventional My Little Pony children's toys, which are pastel colored and live happy, cheery lives surrounded by equally cheery creatures, the ponies, dragons, and other creatures are dark colored and live equally dark lives. Rape, murder, kidnapping, and plots to overthrow the monarchy are commonplace.

This page highlights images that we find beautiful, shocking, impressive and informing. It is the visual equivalent to [[WikiFur:Featured articles|featured articles]] and, as such, even more subjective.
To see these pictures without having to click on every link, see [[WikiFur:Featured pictures visible]]. Be warned, however, that that page may take a while to load. To browse through all the pictures at a glance see [[WikiFur:Featured pictures thumbs]], which has smaller images, but loads faster than Feature pictures visible.

There are currently '''2''' featured pictures.

If you wish to add specific images to this page, please nominate it on [[WikiFur:Featured picture candidates]]. Images listed here should be either in the [[wikipedia:public domain|public domain]] or covered by a free license.

{{Proposed}}
WikiFur's [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view NPOV]] policy prohibits pages that seek to advance a point of view. However, For some articles which are largely unresearched or new, opinion may be the only source from which we as a community can draw.
<br>
<br>
<div style:"text-size:150%">'''Please Note:''' Articles that provide for all points of view and which conform to the wikifur NPOV policy are highly ''prefered''.</div>
<br>
==Neutralizing an article and moving the content to an opinion article==
#Excise all content that promotes or demotes a specific opinion.
#Move that content to an article under the submitting user's user: space page (format: User:username/Essay/articlename).
#Mark that new article as a personal page with the appropriate template.
#Create a new section in the originated article.
