== Apologies ==

With college starting up within the next few weeks, i've been neglecting my duties to the DYK section. I've already missed an update and I apologize for that. Unfortunately, until i'm able to figure out how my computer situation will work out at college and what my schedule will be in general, i'm going to be kind of busy. So I might not be around for a month or two and won't be able to keep up with my duties. :( [[User:Silver seren|Silver]][[User talk:Silver seren|seren]][[Special:Contributions/Silver seren|C]] 00:58, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
:Hey, it's no problem. I've been incredibly busy at work this whole month myself. Whenever you can give your time, it is appreciated - but don't kill yourself over not being able to. :-) --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 01:01, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

== Please delete my article. ==

Hey there. I was wondering if you could delete the page http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Fidge for me. I've lost interest in keeping up with wikipedia and stuff and I would like my own page removed. Thanks alot. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by [[User:Fidge|Fidge]] ([[User talk:Fidge|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/Fidge|contribs]]) .
:It's not your page, it's our page about you - even if you started it. However, we do have an [[WikiFur:Personal exclusion|exclusion policy]], which I have applied to that page. Please contact myself or another administrator if you would like to revert this exclusion. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 18:12, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

== Vandalism targeted at Anthrochat-related articles ==

Seems that some members from Anthrochat have taken to vandalising particular articles. I've reverted [[Anthrochat]] and [[Furrycoffeeshop]] a few times already today. Is it possible to get those pages protected somehow? Thanks. :) [[User:CodeCat|CodeCat]] 19:39, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
:We do not normally protect pages unless vandalism becomes unmanageable, or a "time-out" is needed between editors. However, the two anonymous users concerned have been blocked for inserting inaccurate information before, and they have now been blocked for a longer period for the same reason. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 19:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
:: Allright, seems fair, thanks. I'm just not sure it will help much, because I know the people behind those IPs. They'll probably just come back in 2 weeks and do it again... :/ [[User:CodeCat|CodeCat]] 20:21, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

[[Image:AClogo-new.jpg|right|300px|Anthrochat]]
'''Anthrochat''' is an [[IRC]] network which was founded by [[Simba (person)|Simba]] in March 2004. As of March 2008 it has seven servers (five in the USA, one in the UK and one in Germany) and an average of about 430-450 connected users.

== History ==

''Portions of this section will probably be merged into a separate page detailing the FurNet/Anthrochat split.''

Simba founded Anthrochat in response to the differences of opinion between himself and the administration of [[FurNet (IRC)|FurNet]]. In late 2003/early 2004, [[troll]]s, usually congregating in the channel #safurs, were dealt with by forcible disconnect. This quickly degenerated into a series of challenges to IRCop authority and subsequent network-wide bans of large swaths of users that were found objectionable by FurNet administration.

Simba, an IRCop of FurNet at the time, disagreed with this form of administration and argued for the right to freedom of speech on IRC. FurNet's administrators did not agree, Simba was removed from duty as an IRCop. FurNet administration published the FurNet Code of Conduct<ref>[http://www.furnet.org/documentation/code-conduct-users.html FurNet Code Of Conduct]</ref> ("''My freedom starts where your liberty stops''").

Simba put out a call for volunteers to create a new, uncensored IRC network which became known as Anthrochat. Anthrochat's Mission Statement<ref>[http://www.cimeris.com/~simba/anthrochat/mission.txt Anthrochat Mission Statement]</ref> is essentially to be an unmoderated, uncensored medium where the IRCops' sole responsibility is to ensure the physical integrity of the network. Censorship, social mores, and personal tastes are relegated to the channel operators of individual channels, and no network-wide enforced decency standards or code of conduct exists. FurNet continues to enforce common decency standards, which some consider subjective to the views of the IRCops online making them at the time. To this day, feelings about the whole split are somewhat sore, and users typically identify with one network or the other, though some connect to both simultaneously.

Anthrochat presently runs a version of the [[WikiPedia:UnrealIRCD|UnrealIRCD]] server using [[Wikipedia:Anope|Anope]] services. The change in codebase from what Furnet was using was received so positively, particularly because of the vhost feature that allows users to request customized hostmasks, that Furnet itself has mimiced Anthrochat's lead by instituting the same IRC daemon and services package.

From the network's founding in 2004 until the end of 2006, Anthrochat's userbase remained at an average of approximately 250-300 connected users. Usage increased over the course of 2007, and in January 2008 there were an average of approximately 384 users connected.

== Criticism ==

Anthrochat has also been criticised for its lack of rules. A frequent complaint is that the network's laissez-faire attitude allows malicious users to abuse IRC features to harass new users, who do not know how to deal with these problems. The inaction on the part of the administrators is perceived as irresponsible by some Anthrochat regulars, who do not wish to see the network descend into anarchy. A perception held by some users is that the network has become a haven for internet trolls.

As an example, #atrium, the entry channel for the web-based client, is routinely patrolled by users who verbally attack and scold newbies that have just joined. Although the channel is also populated by users who try to help the new players adjust to the sudden violent outbursts, it still causes many prospective members to leave the network immediately. Simba nonetheless maintains a no-ban policy on the channel. More recently, trolls have begun to hijack the nicknames of new users when they quit. Following this, when those users reconnect, they are disconnected from the network repeatedly by the nickserv 'ghost' command. Administrators have been unwilling to combat this, and have generally suggested to the affected users that they should just choose another nickname.

'''#furrycoffeeshop''' is one of the largest channels in [[Anthrochat]].

== History ==
<nowiki>#</nowiki>furrycoffeeshop was founded by [[TempDog]] on January 23rd, 2005, as a relaxing place for furs to chat.

== Channel rules ==
# Feel free to say and do what you like, but your freedom ends where the rights of others start. If others ask you to stop, it is your responsibility to do so without further provocation or "get backs".
# Do not act so as to disrupt the channel with your behavior. Examples include but are not limited to flaming, baiting, trolling, disregard for rules or requests made by channel staff, and/or overly asinine antics.
# No spreading of logs without permission from the parties involved regardless of your intentions. The only exception to this is when an operator/admin asks you for proof of a reported rule-breaking.
# No explicit sexual discussion or roleplay ("RP") within the channel. Please take all such content as well as other adult topics to #Fluff, the adult "sister-channel" to #Furrycoffeeshop.
# No harassment of other users within the channel for any reason. If you choose to cause problems with them in channel (or PM to attempt circumvention of this rule), you will be banned (operator discretion).
# Any incitation or encouragement of "drama" will treated as violation of channel behavior policy; those choosing to behave in this manner will be kicked and/or banned at operator discretion.
# Do not advertise or otherwise mention other channels, unless they are other channels owned by TempDog.

{{Eurofurence}}
'''Eurofurence''' is the biggest European furry convention and (as of 2006) the longest standing one still active. It was founded in 1995, and Eurofurence 13 at Suhl, Thüringen, Germany saw 600 attendees.

It is typically held in summer and located in various places of Germany, but it has seen other countries as well, notably Sweden, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. The twelfth Eurofurence was held at the same place as the eleventh one, and the fourteenth one will be held at the same place where thirteenth one.

Eurofurence and the [[Mephit Mini Con]] share some lighting equipment and art panels for economy's sake, but are not officially related.

==Staff history==
* [[Eurofurence 1]] was first organized in 1995 by [[Tes-Tui-H'ar]] and [[unci]], both of whom are no longer involved with operating the con.
* In 1997, [[Cheetah (musician)|Sven "Cheetah" Tegethoff]], took over as [[convention chairman]] of [[Eurofurence 3]] and would chair nearly every Eurofurence since then.
* [[Eurofurence 4]] was organized and financed by [[Samarindus]], who found a location for the 1998 convention in the [[wikipedia:Netherlands|Netherlands]] with the help of [[Naros]].
* Later in 1998, [[Eurofurence e.V.]] was registered as a social organization in [[wikipedia:Germany|Germany]] to operate the convention annually from [[Eurofurence 5]] in 1999 to the present day.

== Guests of Honour ==
Since Eurofurence 5, back in 1999, Eurofurence has had a guest of honour almost every year (possibly except for Eurofurence 6 & 9). The following list provides an overview of guests so far:

* Eurofurence 5 (1999) — [[Lisanne Norman]], author of the ''[[Sholan Alliance]]'' series of books
* Eurofurence 7 (2001) — Lisanne Norman; [[Chairo|Lee "Chairo" Strom]], fursuiter, puppeteer, and member of the [[Further Confusion]] organising team since 1998; [[Mark Merlino]], co-founder of [[ConFurence]], the original furry convention
* Eurofurence 8 (2002) — [[Uncle Kage|Dr. Samuel "Uncle Kage" Conway]], Chairman of [[Anthrocon]], the world’s largest furry convention
* Eurofurence 10 (2004) — [[Timothy Albee]], Creator of ''[[Kaze: Ghost Warrior]]''
* Eurofurence 11 (2005) — [[Heather Alexander]], Celtic Folk/World Rock Musician
* Eurofurence 12 (2006) — [[Dark Natasha]], furry artist
* Eurofurence 13 (2007) - [[Lance Ikegawa]], costume designer; Steve Gallacci was scheduled to appear, but a last minute emergency forced him to cancel.
* Eurofurence 14 (2008) - [[Watts Martin]], science fiction writer in the early days of the furry fandom, and [[Steve Gallacci]], creator and publisher of ''Albedo Anthropomorphics''

== Quotes ==
“Anthrocon may be the biggest fur convention in the world, but Eurofurence is the best.” — [[Uncle Kage]], EF-X (2004), EF 13 (2007)

“EF kicks ass! In Fact there is not enough ass in the entire US for this con to kick!” — [[Uncle Kage]], EF-XII (2006)

==Organization==
[[Image:Eurofurence.png|right|Eurofurence e.V.]]
Since 1999, Eurofurence has been organized by [[Eurofurence e.V.]], a registered social organisation based in Germany. However, it is not limited to any specific location, and has many international members among its staff and members.

Two dedicated charity events — ''The Internet is for porn'' and the ''Erotic fursuit dance'' — were organised during the con. To attend these events, a ticket had to be bought for €4, which would go to the NFWS. CodeCat: /* Event main article vs specific event pages */

== List length ==
Something that's not necessarily an issue NOW, but we should think about before it becomes an issue, is what criteria are we going to have for listing stuff on this page? Do we only want large events that attract people from multiple states? Do we want to list smaller events? Do we want to list every single event including some Random Fur's furmeet that 8 people go to? Opinions welcome. --[[User:Dmuth|Dmuth]] 06:26, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)

:I am tempted to include as many things as possible, including those on a smaller scale (perhaps not quite ''that'' small, but certainly including those below 100 participants). However, we might not necessarily ''show'' them all at once, merely the closest ones. I'm sure the box on the front page could be tweaked to show only the closest 15 or something, and then have a link to show the entire list.

:I '''do''' think that this is not a place for weekly or even monthly events. It's for one-off or yearly events, or ''maybe'' semi-yearly (if there are such things). --{{UT|GreenReaper}} 06:42, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)

::Limited engagements notwithstanding, the list is starting to lengthen quite a bit. Should there be a secondary page which shows a sort of yearly events calendar, and if so, how will anyone know to update it if schedules change? -- [[User:Siege|Siege]] 11:30, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)

:::That might be useful. It could be setup to have - for example - a monthly overview per page with a date bar along the top or down one side. On the other hand, many of the event pages are also some of our best and longest pages, so it is useful to have links to them on the front page, and an immediately-readable list for people who may just have stumbled across the site. It is also good for search engine optimization to have such pages immediately accessible from the front page.

:::One possibility would be to have a box limited initially to a certain height (something like 10 to 15 entries) with max-height and overflow: none, and have an "expand" link that would increase it to full size with javascript. Or we could just not set overflow: none and use a scrollbar. This could be used for other boxes, too.

:::Note that the HTML produced for those links is quite compact, and so the load-time effect of having many hidden entries on the front page is minimal. It's also (deliberately) at the bottom of the page, so the visual length of it does not matter so much. --{{UT|GreenReaper}} 08:18, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)

== Not-exactly-furry ==

I see the Gathering of the Gargoyles and Comic-Con have been included, though it's described as not furry-specific. Would it be appropriate to include Otherkin-specific events? -- [[User:Siege|Siege]] 07:02, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)

:My opinion, since I started the list: if it's furry-related enough that it deserves an article in Wikifur, and important enough that it attracts people from outside the area, and not a weekly or monthly thing, then it should be in the list. --[[User:Rat|Rat]] 10:08, 13 Nov 2005 (UTC)

::While I agree with this, I also think we need to draw the line somewhere. I think perhaps if a convention has an explicitly furry track it would qualify, but otherwise, there are [http://www.otherkin.net/wiki/ other] [http://www.anime-wiki.org/index.php/Main_Page places] to post convention information more suited to the individual interest. --[[User:DuncanDaHusky|Duncan da Husky]] 13:17, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

:::Of the ones currently in the list, I would say that [[Duckon]] is debatable because in theory [[Midwest FurFest]] has "the furry stuff" now. [[Arisia]] is not particularly furry but it is claimed that it has a "furry presence", whatever that means . . . anyone been to either to say? --{{UT|GreenReaper}} 16:32, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

::::As a matter of fact, Duckon does have a furry track, headed up by [[Robert King]] :-) Honestly, it's not particularly well-attended by the local furries and serves primarily as an introduction to furry fandom to science fiction fans, but it is explicitly labeled a furry programming track and typically has 6-8 panels. Arisia...I dunno. Looking at their [http://2006.arisia.org/A06ProgramGuide.pdf 2006 Program Guide] (PDF), I see one and only one explicitly furry panel. Omn that basis, I'd be inclined to drop it from the list. --[[User:DuncanDaHusky|Duncan da Husky]] 17:05, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

I tweaked it to two and cut the text, and we were done . . . for now. :-) --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 21:39, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

::Hey, I liked the icons so much, I also added it to the [[list of conventions by attendance]]. What do you think of adding a link to that list in the upcoming events template? Maybe we might encourage some visitors to send in more attendance information where we have data missing.

::: I've added that along with the list of convention resources and the convention photos link.

::BTW, sorry about the columns thing, I was used to working 1600 wide, but should have been thinking about base case users. =^_^!= --[[User:Frizzy|Frizzy]] 02:08, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

== FurCon in Argentina ==

Hi there... I'm quite new around here, and I couldn't help seeing you're lacking of information on artists regarding this side of the world. I was about to add a furry convention that will be taking place from 3rd to 5th November this year in Rosario city, Argentina.

Besides the convention particular case, I wondered if this is a correct place to add with south-America furry artists and conventions. I know lot of readers from here are around here, but I guess not much of them are adding to WikiFur...

Thanks.
--[[User:AlphaWiki|Alpha]] 23:31, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

:Hello AlphaWiki and welcome to WikiFur!

:If you would like to add your convention to our website, feel free to start a new article! I personally recommend you title it [[FurCon Argentina]] or [[FurCon (Argentina)]] to avoid confusion with [[Further Confusion]] in California, which currently uses the title of "[[FurCon]]". If you need more help in learning how to edit articles, please visit the [[:Help:Contents|Help section]].

:We also recommend you include links to websites with supporting information to help interested parties find what they need. The rest of the community will make sure your convention information is added to relevant lists and charts.

:Thanks! --[[User:Frizzy|Frizzy]] 00:04, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

== Free Furry Comic Day ==

I'm unsure of the appropriateness of this, mostly because it simply doesn't have many people involved yet (sum total: [[Sheryl Schopfer]]), and so I have removed this link. If we have a link, it should be a link to an article about the topic, not a direct external link. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 04:39, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
:I see Upcoming Events as a way of highlighting some of the articles on our site, just like Did You Know, and Featured Article. You wouldn't make the Featured Article an article on some other website. --[[User:Rat|Rat]] 04:47, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

== Event main article vs specific event pages ==

I noticed that a lot of the events in the list link to the article about the event globally, as a whole. However a lot of these events have articles about that specific event in addition to a main article. For example, there are [[Eurofurence]] and [[Anthrocon]] articles, but there are also specific articles for [[Eurofurence 14]] and [[Anthrocon 2008]]. To me personally it would make more sense if the list would link to these specific articles rather than the main articles. That way, people could instantly find out more about that specific event rather than being linked to the main page first where they have to look for the proper link. So the question is mainly: is someone who sees the links in the list going to want to see the specific page or the main page of an event first? I'd say the former. [[User:CodeCat|CodeCat]] 20:31, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

:It's a good point. So do we replace the links entirely? Just replace the last bit, so we have [[Eurofurence]] [[Eurofurence 14|14]]? Something else? Our articles about the convention series tend to be more complete; I worry that people may think that's all we have to offer (though the list at the right of such convention pages goes some way towards alleviating that). There is also an SEO consideration, though that is minor compared to making sure users get where they need to go.
:Perhaps we are thinking about this the wrong way, and should ensure that the most current convention is always linked prominently in the lede of the main article instead? --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 08:30, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
:Articles on future conventions are usually quite minimal and don't show our best work. They usually aren't the most helpful to the reader either. --[[User:Rat|Rat]] 10:06, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
:Maybe so, but the article on EF 14 will still tell me more about EF 14 than the main EF article. GreenReaper's idea doesn't seem bad though. Link the name of the event to the main article, and the year/number to that specific event. --[[User:CodeCat|CodeCat]] 12:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

'''''Ozy and Millie''''' is a [[funny animal]] comic strip drawn by [[D.C. Simpson]]. Launched in 1998, it currently appears on the [http://www.ozyandmillie.org Ozy and Millie web site] five times a week (with some irregularity).

In 2002, ''Ozy and Millie'' (vol. 4, ''Authentic Banana Dye'') won the [[Ursa Major Award]] for ''Best Anthropomorphic Other Literary Work'', as well as ''Best Anthropomorphic Comic'' from the [http://www.ccawards.com/ Web Cartoonist's Choice Awards] that same year. It was also nominated for ''Best Anthropomorphic Comic Strip'' in 2005, and won the same award in 2006.

== History ==
D.C. Simpson notes on the web site's [http://www.ozyandmillie.org/history/ history page] that early versions of the strip's characters first started appearing at the beginning of 1997. The characters continued in ''Tales of Planet Q'' later that year, eventually becoming Ozy and Millie on 1 January, 1998 (''Planet Q'' was published that same month in ''[[Hunca Munca!]] #5''). The characters were redesigned over April-May 2000. Versions are available in [http://ozyandmillie.furpost.ru/ Russian], [http://www.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de/~tinki/ German] and [http://www.glasswings.com.au/comics/ozyandmillie.fr/ French], along with a few examples in [http://www.ozyandmillie.org/latin/ Latin] and [http://www.ozyandmillie.org/klingon/ Klingon].

== Main Characters ==
As in [[Wikipedia:Charles Schulz|Charles Schulz]]'s [[Wikipedia:Peanuts|Peanuts]], the main focus of of Ozy and Millie is among a group of children. Unlike Peanuts, however, the few adult characters are usually visible to the reader.

A complete list of characters (with pictures) is given on [http://www.ozyandmillie.org/cast.html the O&M site's "cast" page].

=== Ozy ===

[[Image:ozy.gif|right|Ozy]]
Ozy, ten years old, lives in the small American town of North Harbordale, together with his friend Millie. He is an [[Arctic fox|arctic fox]]. He was originally supposed to be a [[Wolf (species)|wolf]] according to the D.C. Simpson, until a fan showed him a [http://web.archive.org/web/20060830082827/www.ozyandmillie.org/images/ArcticFoxPups.jpg photo of arctic fox kits] that, he said, were "absolute ringers" for Ozy. Ozy did retain his whisker marks however.

Ozy's full name, Ozymandias Justin Llewellyn, is a reference to the poem ''Ozymandias'' by [[Wikipedia:Percy Bysshe Shelley|Percy Bysshe Shelley]]:

:''My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:''
:''Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!''

Ozy is easily recognised by his large top hat, which he got from his father Llewellyn when he adopted Ozy. Apart from the hat he wears only a vest, but no pants, which occasionally makes him the target of some of Millie's practical jokes. He's generally adept at letting Millie's pranks pass by without much effect, but he does occasionally have to suffer bullying at the hands of the school jock, Jeremy, whose favourite pastime involves stuffing Ozy into rubbish bins. Apart from that, Ozy suffers from annual baldness, usually through either some freak accident or because of Millie. Although it is caused by a curse, which has passed on through Ozy's adoptive father's heritage largely unnoticed, it does affect Ozy rather badly since he is the first Llewellyn with any hair to lose at all.

Ozy is also quiet and serene, and under guidance of his father, Ozy practices the art of [[Wikipedia:Zen|Zen]] - or more a humorous version of it. The fundamentals of his view is explained as: ''It has been said that, while knowledge is acquired by learning... Wisdom is acquired by unlearning.''

=== Millie ===

[[Image:millie.gif|right|Millie]]
:''I act weird because I figure, hey, I'm gonna be an outcast anyway, so I might as well do it with style.'' – Millie

Ozy spends most of his time with his best friend Millie, a ten year old [[Red fox|red fox]] girl. Millicent Mehitabel Mudd, as her full name goes, is usually seen wearing her set of blue denim overalls. Unlike Ozy's zenlike calmness, Millie's trademark is chaos, both in the destruction she leaves behind and the clever ways she devises to get out of doing work.

She's a real rebel, and is opposed to any form of authority, which regularly leads to confrontations with both her teacher, Ms. Sorkowitz, and her mother, Ms. Mudd. Her destructive and rebellious habits not only get herself into trouble, but quite often Ozy too when she drags him along into yet another of her grand schemes of world domination - or, failing that, uses him to hide the trail of destruction. And although she might be havoc incarnate at times, she also has a strong sense of justice, and has a hard time facing the inexplicable wrongs of life and the world she sees. However, her rebellion against the establishment is mostly limited to annoying her mother, playing jokes on Ozy and disrupting the peace at school. None of which matters any less to her, as long as she has fun doing it.

Millie says aloud what others think, and does what others, for fear of reaction from the people around them, wouldn't dare. She has her introspective and thoughtful moments, and like Ozy she thinks about great (and sometimes not so great) philosophical questions. What makes her unique is how she goes about finding the answers.

=== Llewellyn ===

[[Image:llewellyn.gif|right|Llewellyn]]
:''Whatever does not kill me makes me stranger.'' – Llewellyn

Ozy's adoptive father, known only as Llewellyn, is a red [[Dragon|dragon]] whose manner can only be described as strange. When he's not running for U.S. president or involved in some kind of secret conspiracy, he's the one to give Ozy the support he needs with often some clever but seemingly useless advice. In the meantime, he runs his house as a separate nation, Greater Llewellynlland.

Llewellyn is likely around 150-200 years old, and currently lives by himself, having only Ozy to raise and care for. The kids both like him, though they often see him as a big red friendly oddball. While his stories usually contain a lesson somewhere, the lesson is either completely irrelevant or the story completely pointless, and it's never entirely sure whether or not he's actually making it all up as he goes. He clearly has some secrets up his sleeve though, but you're more likely to see him bathing in banana pudding than chanting ancient incantations.

=== Ms. Mudd ===

[[Image:ms_mudd.gif|right|Ms. Mudd]]
Millie's mother, whose first name is unknown (except that it starts with M), is best described as an older, wiser, and perhaps more temperate Millie herself. Having been much like Millie in her past, and being an accomplished lawyer today, she knows all the tricks, rules and loopholes that come with raising Millie, much to Millie's own annoyance. And while Ms. Mudd knows how to deal with mischievious little fox girls, she's also the first to lend her support if there's anything amiss with her little sprout.

Since she is living alone with Millie, Ms. Mudd has been looking for companionship, and found it with Llewellyn. They've been dating for a while, and it seems that they get along very well together. Not to mention the effect this has on the two children, who can unsurprisingly get along better with the parent of the other most of the time.

=== Llewellyn ===

=== Ms. Mudd ===

[[Image:OzyandMillie.png|right|250px|Ozy and Millie]]

== History ==

== Main Characters ==
[[Image:OzyandMillieoutcast.png|right|Millie's secret]]
As in [[Wikipedia:Charles Schulz|Charles Schulz]]'s [[Wikipedia:Peanuts|Peanuts]], the main focus of of Ozy and Millie is among a group of children. Unlike Peanuts, however, the few adult characters are usually visible to the reader.

A complete list of characters (with pictures) is given on [http://www.ozyandmillie.org/cast.html the O&M site's "cast" page].

=== Ozy ===

=== Millie ===

=== Llewellyn ===

He clearly has some secrets up his sleeve though, but you're more likely to see him bathing in banana pudding than chanting ancient incantations.

=== Ms. Mudd ===

Not to mention the effect this has on the two children, who can unsurprisingly get along better with the parent of the other most of the time.

'''House Rules''' is a site and group that maintains a collection of coloured [[Ozy and Millie]] strips. It was founded in 2004 and is led by [[Caigan Mythfang]]. It has been officially endorsed by Ozy and Millie artist [[D.C. Simpson]].

House Rules aims to eventually provide coloured versions of as many strips as possible. Strips are mostly posted in sequence according to storyline, to make reading the archives easier and to offer a good (and coloured) alternative to the official Ozy and Millie archives. It maintains a regular update schedule, though schedules change frequently and updates are occasionally delayed. The strips are mostly coloured by fans, although the strips that were coloured by [[D.C. Simpson]] also appear in the site's strip archives.

The site is hosted on [[Lupinia]]. It was given a major overhaul by [[CodeCat]] in April 2007, and he has been the site's main webmaster from then on.

{{Eurofurence}}

'''Eurofurence''' is the biggest European furry convention and (as of 2006) the longest standing one still active. It was founded in 1995, and Eurofurence 13 at Suhl, Thüringen, Germany saw 600 attendees.

It is typically located in various places of Germany, but it has seen other countries as well, notably Sweden, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. The most recent (twelfth) Eurofurence was held at the same place as the eleventh one, over 23-27 August 2006.

Since 1999, Eurofurence has been organized by [[Eurofurence e.V.]], a registered social organisation based in Germany. However, it is not limited to any specific location, and has many international members among its staff and members.

Eurofurence and the [[Mephit Mini Con]] share some lighting equipment and art panels for economy's sake, but are not officially related.

==Staff history==

{{Eurofurence}}

==Staff history==
