'''2 Sense''' was an internet [[radio]] show hosted by [[2|2 the Ranting Gryphon]], which was broadcast on the [[Rant Radio]] web station. Running for two years, the show revolved around the week's news, 2's politics, and the [[furry fandom]].

The show had a different co-host each week. The cast included [[Adric]], [[Jakebe]], [[Prismo]], [[Dax (2 Sense)|Dax]] and [[Riku]]. The last co-host was primarily [[Aubrin]]; however, past co-hosts and guests did take the role from time to time. Jakebe was in fact the longest running co-host and the only co-host during the first 35 episodes of the show.

''2 Sense'' broadcasts were originally an hour in length, but increased to an hour and 50 minutes and streamed live at around 1am Saturday mornings; they were rebroadcast later in the week (and available for download on 2's website).

Despite the success of the show, in 2005, 2 announced that, due to its taking away from his personal time and the fact that the formula had become somewhat predictable, he would end the series. 2 planned to return to his recorded rants as well as larger projects.

The show contained a number of segments which changed over time. The ones contained in the penultimate show, #86, were as follows:
*Feedback - Comments on the previous show and its contents by listeners.
*Gore News - A collection of headlines and articles featuring odd, unusual or generally ignorant ways people have died, gotten mangled, or sometimes miraculously [survived injury in the previous week.
*This Week In History - Detailing [[anniversaries of events]] having taken place the week before.
*News From The Future - A [[Wikipedia:parody|parody]] of a US national news program several years in the future, usually with a strong political bent, written and presented by [[Dr. Samuel Conway]], chairman of [[Anthrocon]].
*World News - Stories from around the world, discussed by 2 and his co-host for the week.
*DVD reviews - A comedic review written and performed by [[Spazfox]].
*Garr's Travel Stories - A collection of interesting tales of travel and adventure as told by Garr.
*Listener Mail - E-mails and audio-mails from listeners on a variety of subjects.
*5 Things Specialist Swartz Isn't Allowed To Do In The Military - 5 things from a list of 213 strange things that you are not allowed to do in the military, as compiled by Specialist Swartz while serving.
*Pengie Penny - A short segment usually devoted to video game music in which the current cohost, Aubrin the Penguin, would say whatever he felt like. This gradually evolved from 3 minute rants to short little sentence-length nuggets of wisdom.
*Weekly Assignment - A short segment in which 2 would ask a question for readers to answer... ranging from "What illegal thing do you want for Christmas?" to "How has this show affected your life?" and then read off the best answers on the air.
*Chat game - A short game just for the people listening live. 2 would read a sentence with a blank in it, such as "To make my horse go, all I have to do is BLANK him." and then read off the best answers emailed in during the show.
*Furry 15 Minutes - Never actually lasting 15 minutes, this small segment would include some details on one furr that 2 had met and interviewed during the week;his/her occupation, hobbies, feelings on the furry fandom and advice.

Past segments used on the show but cancelled were:
*Furry News - News about the [[furry fandom]] as well as any extremely funny news articles involving animals. This ended when people realised there wasn't enough news coming out of the fandom for it to require a weekly segment.
*Dumb Laws - 2 read out all of the Dumb Laws from each state in USA. (it only ended because they ran out of states).
*Weekly Trippy Goo - The weekly trippy goo segment was a 3 minute long segment by Maligno in which he said whatever came to mind, usually an outlandish theoretical dilemma that he would ponder over and eventually develop an even stranger yet oddly logical solution to. It ended when Maligno was committed to a mental hospital. No-one has since heard from him.
* Garr's Word Of The Week - One word of particular interest presented each week by the sultry voice of Garr, in which 2 and his co-host were challenged to use during the rest of the show. This segment was eventually replaced by Garr's Travel Stories.

He was the first, and longest running, co-host, and the only one up until episode 34 of 2 Sense.
Jakebe (real name Dave/David) is an active member of the [[furry fandom]] and frequents several furry conventions. His [[avatar (virtual reality)|avatar]] was previously a raven, however, later it was changed to a bunny in spite of 2's relentless mockery.

Jakebe is now working on artwork related to the [[furry fandom]] and has been largely involved with the furry [[comic]] ''[[Boomer Express]]''.

====Aubrin (The Pengi)====
Aubrin was the co-host who became the standard co-host after Jakebe left. He co-hosted about 30 shows in total, just short of the amount Jakebe co-hosted. However, he co-hosted more of the two hour live shows whereas Jakebe co-hosted more of the original one hour shows.

Aubrin uses a penguin as his avatar in the fandom and thus gained the nickname 'The Pengi' during his time on the show. A common gag during his stint on the show was for 2 to poke him in order to make him squeal, or some other attempt to make him sad, claiming that it made Aubrin cuter that way.

Dax was a seldom used co-host but one who found co-hosting 2 Sense came very naturally. He co-hosted only 3 shows including the final show of 2 Sense.

====Riku====
Riku co-hosted only once for show 34 when Jakebe was unavailable; however, he became well liked by the listeners. Rikku uses a bunny as his avatar and was teased on the show for it, possibly strengthening the running "Bunny" joke on the show.

At 19 years old, Rikku was the youngest person ever to co-host on 2 Sense.

====Adric====
Adric again was a one-off co-host for the show (#39). He was a little too quiet during the show he co-hosted and a little hesitant to give his opinion.

Adric has been mentioned on many occasions on 2 Sense for being able to turn gay men straight by sucking all the gayness from the surrounding area by playing [[Dance Dance Revolution]] (DDR) to the song "[[It's Raining Men]]"

Adric uses the avatar of a rat in the [[furry fandom]].

Adric is a fellow stand up comedian, who has opened for 2 in the past, is currently putting his comedy on hiatus to practice his writing skills, namely, his first novel.

====Spazfox====
Spazfox sent in the longest running segment that was not done by either 2 or a co-host during the run of '' 2 Sense''. Spazfox was the creator of the 'Spazfox's DVD of the Week' segment, in which he reviewed DVDs in a very unique manner.

====Garr====
Garr is a British fur who once sent in an audio letter which happened to make 2 go weak at the knees, after which he immediately demanded that Garr perform a segment on the show. Garr's voice is accepted amongst the 2 Sense listeners as being so sexy it will even turn a straight man on (and many have sent in letters to the show confirming this). Garr started with the "Word Of The Week" segment but then changed his segment to "Garr's Travels" where he discussed his various strange-yet-true adventures in globetrotting during his many failed attempts to go to [[Anthrocon]].

Garr also read the popular poem ''[[The Raven]]'' as a segment, but at over 10 minutes, it was too long to include on the show.

Now that "2 Sense" has ended, Garr is cohosting the radio show [[FBC|VLF]] on the [[FBC]] with fellow British fur [[Sphelx]].

====Malingno====
Maligno is a 15 year old who sent in the Weekly Trippy Goo segment. He was committed to a mental hospital by his parents and contact since has not been possible. His segment however was a unique outlook on the world and many viewed it as quite strange (but in a good way). However, no one is quite sure exactly how he comes up with his segments, as Malingno was described on the show as a fairly intelligent and stable fur who did not do drugs (the most obvious speculation given by the 2 Sense crew and listeners upon listening to his first segment).

Maligno was in fact the youngest person ever to be involved in 2 Sense.

====Jessie T. Wolf====
[[Jessie T. Wolf]] is a fur artist from Toronto Canada, who appeared on two of the shows as a guest and did a commissioned picture for 2 Gryphon, as well as giving one away as a prize on one of the shows.

She is very tiny and cute according to 2 Gryphon and was extremely shy when on the show.

===Rant Radio===

2 Sense was rebroadcast on Rant Radio for aproximately the last 40 episodes. It became one of the most popular shows on Rant Radio becoming so popular that the show required its own separate IRC room as the number of listeners tuning in solely for 2 Sense outstripped that of any show previously played on Rant Radio. This actually caused bandwidth issues during the first few shows when unpresidented numbers of listeners flocked to Rant Radio during the first few live episodes.

===2 Sense 2.0===

[[2 Sense 2.0]] started on November 12th, 2006. This new show features [[Nik the Fox]] as the new co-host, as well as familiar characters. [[Spazfox]] and [[Garr]] make their return, as well as the esteemed [[Uncle Kage]]. [[Spazfox]] does the DVD of the Week segment like he did in the last season. [[Garr]] has stopped his travel tales and is now the 2 Sense International Correspondent. [[Uncle Kage]] does the "News from the Future," a parody segment in which fictional is news is reported from roughly 50 years in the future. Some of the other new segments in the show include Furry Baptisms, and Furry Birthdays. Both of these segments are heavily influenced by the [[Furry Army of Doom]] forums. Another aspect about this new show is the [[2 Sense Research Team]]. This team consists of 10 members of the FAOD: Tyrel_Roo, Sergent Sai, Cassandra Rising, TakaiX, Don Helder Camara, [[Zyph]], Ion Seal, Ark, [[Sidepocket]], and Armonkyi.

Grains, fruits, and carrots make good treats if you'd like to reward her. Unless you're really close to her, [[Wikipedia:Physical punishment|physical punishments]] aren't a good idea.. "Bad horse" works well though.

If you need any help, you can always google for information on icelandic horses. It should all apply to her as well, except a few little things special to her.

She's used to human contact, but isn't as snuggly as canids, so hug in moderation. Grains, fruits, and carrots make good treats if you'd like to reward her. Unless you're really close to her, physical punishments aren't a good idea.. "Bad horse" works well though. :)

If you need any help, you can always google for information on icelandic horses. It should all apply to her as well, except a few little things special to her.

* She's sensitive to strong swearing and loudness, both can spook her badly and bring back memories. She is being 'bomb proofed' slowly though, so this will hopefully be less and less true in the future.

While attempting to steal Vincent's cache of goods, as well as his red wagon and blue cooler, RJ accidentally wakes Vincent, who after realizing what RJ is doing, attempts to scare him into giving his stuff back. RJ, in a panic, knocks the wagon of food into the street, it looks ok, and RJ and Vincent laugh about it, when it is run over by a truck and is destroyed. The furious Vincent gives RJ an ultimatum: replace everything within a week, or get eaten. RJ finds the new [[suburbs|suburban]] development El Rancho Camelot Estates in western [[Indiana]] where he can steal all the replacement items he needs. There, a community of [[foraging|foragers]] led by the practical [[turtle]], Verne ([[Garry Shandling]]), awakens from hibernation. Seeing this, and realizing that they might be in danger, Verne tries to return everything they've stolen as a bargain to the humans to spare their lives — leading to an action set-piece involving himself and RJ, a chasing, "play"-spouting dog, a wagon piled high with goods and goodies, and a canister of [[barbecue]] [[propane]], and a backyard [[slide]] that launches the wagon, Verne and RJ into the sky. The sequence ends with the two animals falling, unhurt, to earth, while the errant, ad hoc rocket crashes in a stylized, [[mushroom-cloud]] fireball. When RJ and Verne are rocketed back over the hedge, RJ and the other animals get mad at Verne. While trying to warn the others of RJ's plan to use them, Verne turns on RJ, and claims that him is making his friends do whatever he likes because they're "too stupid and naiive to know any better". Verne then tries to take back what he said, but the damage has already been done, and circumstances get worse as Verne tries to come up with a less hurtful description, and says ignorant. But no one is more hearbroken then Hammy, as Verne's hand was unintentionally pointing at ''him'' during his outburst. Hammy tearfully says "I'm not stupid", and takes the comment seriously with him being very hyperactive and somewhat childlike. Angry and hurt, Verne's friends leave him, and the turtle is all alone. Verne is then by himself, as he wonders what is truly best for his family and whether he belongs in it any more. But Verne isn't the only one with problems.

During his time with the foragers, RJ can't resist but having a growing affection for all of them. They're so kind, soft, and even give him a spot for himself so he wouldn't need to sleep on a tree. He slowly realizes that he shouldn't be using them for his own selfish needs, but should he blurt them out his secret and break their hearts?

RJ then goes to Verne, cools down and cheers him up. With RJ's help, Verne apologizes to his reluctant friends, and they welcome him back. Now, RJ stages the biggest heist yet, from the supplies of the big "welcome to the neighborhood" party Gladys plans for the following day. With Stella disguised as a cat, in order to distract the haughty guard-cat Tiger, the others raid her kitchen. They're almost in the clear when RJ. spies a can of Spuddies — Vincent's favorite food, and the last item on the list — and in trying to retrieve it, like at the beginning, keeps the rest of the crew in the house long enough for Gladys to spot them. The Verminator's traps catch all of the animals — all except RJ, who escapes with the wagon of Vincent's replacement goods. As the caged others are driven away, RJ meets Vincent in the woods, where the bear congratulates RJ on successfully "conning the suckers" and getting what he needed. He paints himself and RJ as two of a kind. Realizing the path to which his unchecked drifting will lead, RJ turns on Vincent, who didn't deserve all the food, and uses the piled-high wagon to crash into the Verminator's van, launching a rescue attempt. The enraged Vincent goes after RJ, determined to kill him. While being chased by the bear, the young porcupines direct the Verminator's van into the home of Gladys Sharp, much to her dislike. Vincent is donked by a hammer, pricked by Penny, and is finally sent flying with a balloon - a scene which is a parody to the ending of [[Alien (film)]]. All of the animals pull out of the van as the verminator regains consciousness.

Vincent lands on the animal's side of the hedge, where he begins to claw furiously to get RJ, while the verminator activates his electric wand and attempts to poke out the animals, determined to finish the job. Suddenly, the back door to Gladys' home swings open, and she emerges and clicks on the dreaded weed whacker and begins to swing furiously at the hedge, exclaiming "Show your ratty little faces! Stay in the woods where you belong?!" Trapped between Vincent and the humans, RJ and Verne quickly concoct a plan. They give a highly [[caffeine|caffeinated]] cola to the already [[adrenaline]]-rushing Hammy (notorious throughout the film for his ridiculously high levels of speed and uncontrolled energy), leading to a scene (reminiscent of others from U.S. [[TV]]'s ''[[The Twilight Zone]]'', Episode 70 of ''[[Futurama]]'' (''[[Three Hundred Big Boys]]'') and the [[DC Comics]] character [[The Flash]]) where his perceptions and motion are so sped up that the world appears to stand still, as if time has stopped. Hammy, strolling along but at super-speed with his power to travel through time itself, adjusts the trap controls (and collects one of his beloved cookies on the way). As he slows down back to normal speed (seen as the rest of the world gradually speeding up to him), RJ and Verne's plan succeeds, leading to Vincent getting trapped and set to be shipped to the [[Rocky Mountains|Rockies]], Gladys fighting with the authorities and being arrested not only for the illegal man trap she arranged, but also for assaulting a police officer, and the Verminator tiptoeing away from the scene, only to be chased by the playful dog from before. RJ, now a hero to the other animals in deed as well as in word, settles down and agrees to be a father figure to the animal community. They in turn explain that if they had been truthfully told about RJ's predicament in the beginning, they would have helped him settle his debt, "...because that’s what families do", says Verne.

After the credits, the characters return to the vending machine RJ visited during the opening scene, now fully stocked. The entire vending machine is emptied in one shot to the delight of all, but the PUSH bar cannot be moved and no food can be retrieved. Hammy comments, "Kinda anti-climactic."

She dreams of living on a farm, perhaps with a few little privileges like use of toilets and clothes, and a bed in the shelter, trained, loved, and taken care of like the rest of the family.. She would do any horsie work for her owners to repay them for the food and shelter and family, and when she was strong enough, do some extra things that most horsies can't. Nobody would make her feel shame for not being more than she is, nobody would push her to do things they wouldn't push the other horses to do, and nobody (but the playful stallions) would give her any sexual pressures. She would probably stay a virgin forever if only to avoid being labelled and hurt.

When meeting her, it's best if you can be introduced by someone she's already friends with, she might or might not talk to you at first, and probably wont talk much or at all later on. When she was a little foal she never really fit in with any of the human kids. She tried her best, but could never get any real friends.. Nobody really understood her.. A few times some kids who were having their puberty early became protective of her as if she was family, but that didn't last.

As she grew it became more apparent just how different she was. Two people in her life which she came to call step-mum and step-dad, her biological parents, always insisted that they were family, but never really where. As things became worse they dragged her around to lots of doctors trying to find a medical excuse for how she is.. the best they ever got was an ADD diagnosis which was soon enough taken back by a different doctor.

But that didn't stop them from drugging her.. for one horrible month they forced her to take prescription speed. It made her feel sick and horrible and completely disconnected from the world.. her school life got worse and after just a couple of days she refused to take any more of the horrible pills.. Then they started grinding it in to her food. They just didn't care how horrible it made her feel, it took talking to a teacher and finding out that her school work had suddenly gotten a lot worse to convince them to stop.

At home her step-parents where abusive to her, always putting her down and never supporting her. School became worse.. there was a point where she stopped getting smarter.. and everyone else did. The teachers said she must be as smart as the human kids because she didn't have any mental condition, and then said she mustn't be trying at all. But Blueberry was trying, so so hard. Her best became worthless, and she was punished for it every day. That's why its hard for her now to feel pride.

Eventually she got old enough that the government let her leave school at 15.. It was the best day ever. She then spent years leaving the house sometimes three sometimes up to ten times each year. She developed social anxiety, then eventually found furries through listening to [[2 Sense]]. Finally she started to be free. The teachers in the schools wouldn't bother to teach her things she wanted to learn because she was too dumb to deserve knowing things.. but on the internet she could teach herself!

And she did, she learnt to read and write better, learnt about computer things, made friends for the first time, and gradually got a taste of what it is to be proud of who you are. Then spiritual self discovery came, and she found out who she was, and why she is Blueberry. As things became worse they dragged her around to lots of doctors trying to find a medical excuse for how she is.. the best they ever got was an ADD diagnosis which was soon enough taken back by a different doctor.

But that didn't stop them from drugging her.. for one horrible month they forced her to take prescription speed. It made her feel sick and horrible and completely disconnected from the world.. her school life got worse and after just a couple of days she refused to take any more of the horrible pills.. Then they started grinding it in to her food. They just didn't care how horrible it made her feel, it took talking to a teacher and finding out that her school work had suddenly gotten a lot worse to convince them to stop.

At home her step-parents where abusive to her, always putting her down and never supporting her. School became worse.. there was a point where she stopped getting smarter.. and everyone else did. The teachers said she must be as smart as the human kids because she didn't have any mental condition, and then said she mustn't be trying at all. But Blueberry was trying, so so hard. Her best became worthless, and she was punished for it every day. That's why its hard for her now to feel pride.

Eventually she got old enough that the government let her leave school at 15.. It was the best day ever. She then spent years leaving the house sometimes three sometimes up to ten times each year. She developed social anxiety, then eventually found furries through listening to [[2 Sense]]. Finally she started to be free. The teachers in the schools wouldn't bother to teach her things she wanted to learn because she was too dumb to deserve knowing things.. but on the internet she could teach herself!

And she did, she learnt to read and write better, learnt about computer things, made friends for the first time, and gradually got a taste of what it is to be proud of who you are. Then spiritual self discovery came, and she found out who she was, and why she is Blueberry. Eventually she got a boyfriend/stallion, who soon left, and tore her heart to bits repeatedly.. but they're still friends.

Now Blueberry is still living in that house with the step-parents, abused and put down daily, shouted most when she's most unable to defend herself, like when she can't form speech in her head. But there is a lot of hope for the future! In a few months some of her biggest most wild dreams should be coming true!

[[Moskintia]], a wonderful dragon, has land in Canberra which she will hopefully be able to move to, along with her owner [[Lucinder]]. Moskintia isn't a Furry, is a proper dragon and understands Blueberry more than most people. He also wants to get other horses! A herd.. just like in her dreams

Blueberry's biggest longest dream is just to have a herd, family. To live with them, as one of them. She dreams of living on a farm, perhaps with a few little privileges like use of toilets and clothes, and a bed in the shelter, trained, loved, and taken care of like the rest of the family.. Treated as normal as horses treat her.

She would do any horsie work for her owners to repay them for the food and shelter and family, and when she was strong enough, do some extra things that most horsies can't. Nobody would make her feel shame for not being more than she is, nobody would push her to do things they wouldn't push the other horses to do, and nobody (but the playful stallions) would give her any sexual pressures. She would probably stay a virgin forever if only to avoid being labelled and hurt.

She would never have to hide from the squeals of electronics, never be scared by yelling abusive humans, and eventually one day, maybe be proud of herself too.

* One thing she really wants to do one day is buy a beautiful blank book with entirely blank pages, and leave it that way forever, and always have a beautiful book, which is its own art and needs not be a canvas for more.
* She carries a horse plushie in her backpack, it's head peeking out, so everyone sees a horse when they look at her.

She bonds almost instantly with people who have a real life past living and loving horses, and tends to be very obedient and affectionate to them. Two people in her life which she came to call step-mum and step-dad, her biological parents, always insisted that they were family, but never really where. As things became worse they dragged her around to lots of doctors trying to find a medical excuse for how she is.. the best they ever got was an ADD diagnosis which was soon enough taken back by a different doctor.

But that didn't stop them from drugging her.. for one horrible month they forced her to take prescription speed. It made her feel sick and horrible and completely disconnected from the world.. her school life got worse and after just a couple of days she refused to take any more of the horrible pills.. Then they started grinding it in to her food. They just didn't care how horrible it made her feel, it took talking to a teacher and finding out that her school work had suddenly gotten a lot worse to convince them to stop.

At home her step-parents where abusive to her, always putting her down and never supporting her. School became worse.. there was a point where she stopped getting smarter.. and everyone else did. The teachers said she must be as smart as the human kids because she didn't have any mental condition, and then said she mustn't be trying at all. But Blueberry was trying, so so hard. Her best became worthless, and she was punished for it every day. That's why its hard for her now to feel pride.

Blueberry's biggest longest dream is just to have a herd, family. To live with them, as one of them. She dreams of living on a farm, perhaps with a few little privileges like use of toilets and clothes, and a bed in the shelter, trained, loved, and taken care of like the rest of the family.. Treated as normal as horses treat her.
