Beatlewolf:

wikify
cleanup
{{Musician
|name=Rey Argie Castillo
|birth=1995
|gender= Male
|place=Los Angeles, California, USA
|fursona=Wolf (primary, has several other furry and machine personas)
|genre=Rock and Roll, pop rock
|label=TigerWolf Records
|instru=Fender Squier Stratocaster, Ibanez Talman Acoustic
|aliases=Multiple, including Reymond, Rey, The Beatlewolf, the TimeWolf, Omega-steam, and Argie

Rey Argie "The Beatlewolf" Castillo (born September 21, 1995) is an anthro artist living in Los Angeles, California. He is a freelance musician, artist, voice actor, model railroader, and student. He has an avid interest in trains, video games, classic cars, rock and roll music, and Doctor Who.

Fursona
His fursona was originally a short (4'11) blue wolf, named the "Beatlewolf". This incarnation had blue-white fur markings, a large brown-black moptop on his head. It also utilized his real name, something that he didn't want strangers to know about. This incarnation was more American, influenced by the Beatles, and had a cheeky but violent streak to him, usually not caring about what others thought of him. He also belonged to a band called the New Beatles, which Argie made up with DeviantArt users Engineer825 and simulatortrain.

The first incarnation went through many art styles and changes until Argie discovered the tv show "Doctor Who" and remade the character and character history from the ground up, but playing it off as a "regeneration". The design of the character then went through many design changes, but sticking to the wolf persona, which was smoothened out to resemble the current Doctor, Matt Smith. In another role-play series with Daniel-dA, he changed the character completely into a slim, red-haired blue dragon, which takes its style from the Third, Fourth, Tenth, and Eleventh Doctors, respectively.

Artwork
His artwork and stories may be eclectic in nature, but all usually come from random ideas or music stuck in his head. He works mostly on object sketches and pose references as well as character designs and poses. His stories are listed below.

Current projects
A current project he is working on is a 5-part novel series called "Schoole Daze" (only up to Chapter 9 so far, it can be read at Sampug394's gallery.) Currently, the "Schoole Daze" project is on permanent hiatus until further notice.

Another project he is working on is various short stories involving the Peterborough, Bedford, and Juniper Railway, with his friend JoetheJ88. The series so far has spawned one backstory concerning his character of Reymond, a British Railway 0-4-4 steam locomotive.

Music
His tastes in music are eclectic in nature, and vary from artist from artist. His first exposure to rock music was to the Beatles when he was 9 years old. He then moved on as he aged, from Pink Floyd to the Who, Led Zeppelin, Steve Miller, the Ramones, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Jimi Hendrix to artists such as Benny Goodman, Eddy Cochran, Duane Eddy, The Ventures, Plain White Tees, and Green Day.

He is also an amateur musician, and plays lead vocal, bass guitar, rhythm guitar, and often plays keyboard. He has so far played 3 talent shows at his high school and is hoping to hit the charts when he's older or when he's discovered. His current equiptment is a Squier Stratocaster electric guitar played through a Fender Mustang 1 20-watt amp. His recording equiptment is a Logitech webcam and Audacity Internet Recorder. He is also currently working on songs with his songwriting partner Ben Hobbes on their independent "TigerWolf Records".

External Links
Beatlewolf
* The BeatleWolf on deviantART

* The Beatlewolf on YouTube
