Azeryth: Updating with current info! Saving to be safe

'''Azeryth''' (æz-ER-ith) or "'''Aze'''" (æz) also known as '''Opiri''' (legal name '''Jacqueline Smith'''; born October 12th, 1993) is an artist, event organizer, Twitch streamer and internet personality from OKC, Oklahoma.

== '''Character Appearance''' ==
Azeryth’s color scheme is soft black/white with a short brown bob hairstyle with a signature stripe of blonde in her front bangs. Other features include a beauty mark positioned beneath her left eye (right side to viewer), silver eyeshadow and lipstick. She resembles an arctic hare in some ways, with the tips of her ears being black. Her ears are generally depicted in the upright position but shift sometimes with her emotions. Her overarching style leans more on the gothic side with a few exceptions.

== '''Art''' ==
Azeryth works under the artist name "Opiri" and has been creating character designs (otherwise known to the community as "adoptables" or "adopts") for over 6 years using various free/paid bases (lineart packs or single pngs). As of 2022 made a decision to try offering commissions in the form of small YCHs ("Your Character Here") for a price range from $10 - $20. As of August 2022 there are plans of Opiri starting an online shop to sell physical merch such as hand-crafted beaded jewelry along with stickers and possibly pins however this is still very much in the planning phase from the looks of current sources.

== '''Volunteer Work''' ==
In addition to her various creative pursuits Azeryth has also been a volunteer staff member and current trustee for the non-profit organization Scissortail Fandoms Inc. (formally known as "OWO LLC." when it was in its for-profit status) which oversees operations for the OKC, OK hotel convention AnthroExpo. She first joined staff for AnthroExpo back in the summer of 2018 when the con was still in its conceptual phase as a volunteer artist. Over the course of a year Azeryth changed titles a few times to suit needs as planning went on. Some of those official titles included the following but are not limited to: Artist, Social Media Manager, Director of Public Relations, Director of Sales & Marketing and so on. In March of 2022, Azeryth was elected as a trustee of Sci-fI (shortening of "Scissortail Fandoms Inc.") as its Secretary.

=== '''2020 Break''' ===
Over the course of the first 2 years leading up to AnthroExpo's first physical year a lot of pressure both socially and creatively led to a massive burnout for Azeryth. She made a decision to leave staff for a year to focus on her mental health while still maintaining her support for the convention through her other works such as her local furmeet SFE ("Something Fur Eats") and personal social media accounts. She returned in the summer of 2021 to staff for the con's first virtual event "Shipwrecked" taking the lead for their Minecraft server which hosted over 43 unique users over the weekend.

Azeryth (“Aze”) is a shapeshifter with a primary form (bunny) and a secondary form (dragoness) that she switches between at will depending on her expression<ref>https://aminoapps.com/c/furry-amino/page/item/azeryth-the-shapeshifter/lXlD_v5VtGI31kWDmjNMe5jwKpnoomaNEZG</ref>. She is an anthropomorphic character with the arcane knowledge and experience to transform into any form she has previously come in contact with via physical touch. Along with transformation, Azeryth has a multitude of various magical skills such as the ability to cast spells like “Heal”, “[element] Charge”, and Telekinesis. Her shapeshifting ability is a primary trait acquired shortly after being turned into a Vampiric being. Though her vampire side is not as prevalent in public, she has a tendency to flash her fangs when excited.

Azeryth’s color scheme is relatively monochromatic with her makeup and hair being the only exception as she tends to dye/switch up her cosmetic style quite often. She resembles an arctic hare in some ways, with the tips of her ears being black. Her ears always perky unless sad or sleepy.

Azeryth:

'''Jacqueline Smith''' ("''Jacky''") is a mixed media artist born '''October 12th, 1993''' in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (''With one(1) younger sister, Victoria born 3 years later'') where she resided for the first 11 years of her life. Her first move was to Idabel, Oklahoma when her mother was called to work as McCurtain County's ADA. Due to a number of factors, she was forced to move back in with her grandparents for a time as her grandmother's health slowly began to deteriorate due to Liver Failure. Following the passing of her grandmother in that same year her parents filed for divorce and Jacqueline decided to live with her mother and sister.

She first discovered the Furry Fandom back in 2008 while browsing through character design art on '''Deviantart''''s website. Her first fursona ''Stellaryx'' was heavily inspired by her favorite video game series of the early 00's: '''Sly Cooper and The Thievius Raccoonus''' for the PS2. Jacqueline has since had 5 main fursona changes in the past few years, ''Azeryth'' reportedly being her final and only character after selling the intellectual rights to the others.

Several years later Jacqueline found herself in Bartlesville, OK where she met her ex-mate Rasputin (''"Raz"/"Josh"/"Keelin"''). The two were together ~5 years until their separation in the summer of 2018. Shortly after with the help of his family she was able to move back to Oklahoma City and currently resides in The Village, OK where she conducts online and in-person Public Relations/Social Media work for Oklahoma City's new furry convention '''[[AnthroExpo]]''' for '''OWO LLC'''.
