Awesomelink234: Wow... a LOT has changed since I edited this page 5 months ago, huh?

Hey there! I'm awesomelink234, but you can call me BladeFox7 or Bladette, or my chosen name Amy! (yeah, I made this account before I made my sona and named him). My main sona is a red fox named Bladette, and she has a black tuft of hair/mohawk-like thing as part of her hair. She also has eyelashes and a flower in her hair. She wears a pink shirt with a red heart on it, and a pink skirt. Despite her name, she doesn't really use a sword, instead being a big fan of hugs and cuddles. She's a genderswapped version of my formerly main sona (and now my second sona) Blade, who has a red T-shirt and blue shorts, and IS a skilled swordsman, as his name would imply. I also game a lot, and like Nintendo stuff, especially ''Zelda'', ''Pokémon'', ''Smash'', and ''Animal Crossing''. I also like JRPG series like ''Persona'', ''Final Fantasy'', and ''Kingdom Hearts''. I also am a fan of ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' (and have watched the first 5 parts twice from start to finish), but you probably won't see me talk about it as much as I did back in 2019. My favorite video game characters are Fox McCloud (hell, ''Star Fox'' is one of the reasons I became a furry), Krystal (my furry waifu/crush, she's just so elegant and beatiful) and Link. Looking up ''Zootopia'' stuff after I saw it for the first time introduced me to this fandom, as well as all the stuff back then making fun of it (Funny how that works, huh? Memes making fun of furries introduced me to them and now I am one). July of last year is when I truly considered myself a furry for the first time after browsing r/furry_irl on Reddit, but I didn't truly do any furry stuff until late February/early March of 2021, when I read up about things like fursonas (or fursonae?) and furry conventions. It's honestly been a mixed bag since then. I came out as trans in mid-June of 2022, and I go by She/Her now.

A little neat thing I thought I'd do is see what "level" of furry I am based off TV Tropes' "[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/SlidingScale/FurryFandom Sliding Scale]" of the fandom, in the form of a checklist from level 3:
*Loves to roleplay: Yes, but I have my limits.
*Has a fursona: Yes. See above. I have multiple.
*Commissions art and stories: No. I've never asked anyone to do a commission, but could be neat and to get some nice art of my sonas. (Speaking of that, I do have now two pieces of art of them, which will eventually be on this page)
*Attends cons: Yep! My first con was Midwest FurFest 2022!
*Haunts the websites: Definitely. My big thing is Twitter, but I also use Telegram on occasion.
*Has a fursuit: No. Too expensive, even for a partial (which is the only way I'd ever suit). Seems like it'd get stuffy in there too after a while.
*Generally passionate about the furry world: I... guess you could say I am. I just like the concept of anthro characters and I think they're cute.
*May or may not have an anthropomorphism fetish: Yeah, I'll pass on this one.

All-in-all, going off that, I'm definitely not a level 4 (which covers otherkin/therian stuff), and I'd say I'm very close to a level 3! It really doesn't matter, considering at its core, being a furry is just liking the concept of anthropomorphic animals, and the other stuff (like having a fursona or fursuit, or going to cons) is just superficial.

Looking up ''Zootopia'' stuff after I saw it for the first time introduced me to this fandom, as well as all the stuff back then making fun of it (Funny how that works, huh? Memes making fun of furries introduced me to them and now I am one). July of last year is when I truly considered myself a furry for the first time after browsing r/furry_irl on reddit, but I didn't truly do any furry stuff until late February/early March of this year, when I read up about things like fursonas (or fursonae?) and furry conventions. It's honestly been a mixed bag since then.

A little neat thing I thought I'd do is see what "level" of furry I am based off TV Tropes' "[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/SlidingScale/FurryFandom Sliding Scale]" of the fandom, in the form of a checklist from level 3:
*Loves to roleplay: No. GOD no. I will never furry RP, so don't ask me to RP.
*Has a fursona: Yes. See above.
*Commissions art and stories: No. I've never asked anyone to do a commission, but could be neat and to get some nice art of my sona. (Speaking of that, I do have now two pieces of art of him, which will eventually be on this page)
*Attends cons: Never been to one, though I'd like to one day, particularly my local/closest one, Midwest FurFest.
*Has a fursuit: No. Too expensive, even for a partial (which is the only way I'd ever suit). Seems like it'd get stuffy in there too after a while.
*Generally passionate about the furry world: I... guess you could say I am. I just like the concept of anthro characters and I think they're cute.
*May or may not have an anthropomorphism fetish: Well, uh... I prefer to distance myself from... that part of the fandom if possible. I'd like to not make us look like sex-crazed weirdos to outsiders, and CSI portraying us like that (which I will forever hate and refuse to watch that episode) doesn't help matters either.

All-in-all, going off that, I'm definitely not a level 4 (which covers otherkin/therian stuff), and not a level 3. So I'd say I'm maybe a level 2.6-ish? It really doesn't matter, considering at its core, being a furry is just liking the concept of anthropomorphic animals, and the other stuff (like having a fursona or fursuit, or going to cons) is just superficial.

Hey there! I'm awesomelink234, but you can call me BladeFox7 or Blade for short (yeah, I made this account before I made my sona and named him). My sona is a red fox named Blade, and he has a black tuft of hair/mohawk-like thing as part of his hair. He wears a red T-shirt and blue shorts. He is also a skilled swordsman, hence the name. I have never drawn him with a sword yet, though. I also game a lot, and like Nintendo stuff, especially ''Zelda'', ''Pokémon'', ''Smash'', and ''Animal Crossing''. I also like JRPG series like ''Persona'', ''Final Fantasy'', and ''Kingdom Hearts''. I also am a fan of ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' (and have watched the first 5 parts twice from start to finish), but you probably won't see me talk about it as much as I did back in 2019.
