Exclusion of information

http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/August_Yifu

My page here contains outdated (but still sensitive) information from about 10 years ago. It's honestly very cringy as well. I would like it taken down for (or at least the ability to update it) for peace of mind. Is this acceptable? - August

I'm surprised I was able to remember my old password. Do I have to click on something or is this okay for proof of identity?

August Yifu article
We've reverted your August Yifu back to how it was, because we don't think you should feel you have to meet standards that WikiFur doesn't actually have.

First of all, as described in the policyWhat WikiFur is, pages about yourself are totally encouraged, as long as they otherwise are consistent with the content goals of WikiFur.

Number two, linking without from article space to user space without informing the reader, like from August Yifu to User:AugustYifu is discouraged, because the two spaces have quite different content goals.

You can still use your user page User:AugustYifu with pretty wide freedom if you like; other people can suggest, but if you want to write your user page in article style, it's okay.

Your article August Yifu is more of a collaborative work; other people can suggest changes, but you can also suggest your own changes.

If you're worried about any of your text being lost, it's all accessible from the history tab at the top.

I wrote a little guide for new users at User:Rat/Why_did_you_change_my_article; it's not official policy, but it explains some of this a little more. --Rat 10:12, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I just finished updating my article. Feel free to change the grammar around, you obsessive wikifurries. But please keep the information relatively similar to what I have provided. I published this update on deviantART, so some unwanted changes may occur for a while. I'll do my best to revert them, but please assist me if it becomes convenient for you to do so. -AugustYifu 05:20, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

August Yifu is the fursona of a furry named Austin (born August 4th, 1989). He currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and works for a local Wal Mart department store as a truck unloader.

He is in a relationship with fellow fur Koebi, of the fursona of the same name, and is working towards a goal of cohabiting with him in the near future.

History
August's player, Austin, has been active on the Internet since late 2002. Around 2003, he began chatting on initialized, a gaming community, where he soon became a frequent user. Up to this point, Austin had been identifying himself as Tails from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

during this same time period, another fur by the name ShadowTiger approached him, and asked him if he was also a furry. When Austin explained that he did not know what a furry was, ShadowTiger explained to him the history and concept of the furry fandom. After doing some additional research, it didn't take Austin long to identify himself as a member of said fandom.

As time went on, Austin identified himself with more of a generic fox-type character, instead of a copyrighted video game character. This character was eventually given the name August, and underwent several changes to morph into August as he is known today.

Austin found FurNet in 2006, and has been a frequent user on this server ever since. He is involved in a large number of channels on furnet, many of them having to do with sexual fetishes, which he credits FurNet for his interest on these last ones.

Austin has his own channel, #Yifu, which he uses to gather up his friends from all over the server into one place; he is in so many channels, that he frequently misses any of his friends that choose not frequent it, when they come online.

Fursona
August's fursona has gone through two distinct phases:

Original incarnation
August Yifu's first personification was an anthropomorphic folf; a cross between an anthropomorphic fox, and wolf. His skin was mainly blue and white, and his eyes were hazel colored.

Rather than having normal skin and fur, August had (and still does have) a skin comprised of living rubber. This was merely cosmetic back in these days, as August had normal organic internal organs.

August grew up twice, being a victim of age regression. At this time, August was nineteen years old chronologically, but in a three year old's body. This regression brought on unintended side effects: August now suffers from total incontinence and has developed some problems maintaining his solidity.

Depending on his mood and the temperature of his environment, August's skin can appeared to be melty in spots. The latter of these side effects disappeared completely as August grew up for the second time.

Another huge difference between this older fursona version versus his current one is that this version is of average weight (Austin's interest in weight gain appeared later on). This August is also what's known as a cuntboy, i.e. a character that's physically male in every way, save for the genital area. The more recent August is completely male, as this idea was abandoned. This decision was partially influenced by Austin's mate, Koebi.

Present incarnation
August Yifu's present-day personification is an anthropomorphic foxcoon; a cross between an anthropomorphic fox, and raccoon. His skin is mainly red and white, and he has a general toony appearance.

As with the original incarnation, his skin is comprised of living rubber. Since its implementation, the rubber has invaded and assimilated the foxcoon's entire body; August's body is now completely synthetic, albeit normal bodily functions happen in seemingly identical ways.

August is eighteen years old like his player; at least, physically. He has been a victim of age regression in the past, but has since grown up again. The regression brought on an unintended side effect: August now suffers from total incontinence, as he was not able to retrain himself, growing up the second time.

August loves to do nothing at all, most of the time; his favorite activities include eating and sleeping, explaining his severe weight issue; he weighs approximately 450 pounds as of October 2007.

Sexual fetishism
Austin is a rottenfur, and is involved in a wide variety of sexual fetishes such as rubber fetishism, vincilagnia (bondage), masochism, fat fetishism, inflation, paraphilic infantilism (including such themes as diaper fetishism, urolagnia, coprophilia, and age regression). He is also a fan of transformation, primarily of the inanimate variety such as plushification and petrification. He also has an interest in castration, penectomies, as well as other forms of genitalia manipulation.

Subsequently, many of Austin's interests show up in August. Either as a physical attribute, or in the types of roleplaying he does with other furries. For example, August is a diaperfur (as well as a babyfur on occasion), a rubberfur, and a fatfur.

Hobbies
Austin enjoys roleplaying and/or chatting on FurNet as his character, most of the time. He used to use Adobe Photoshop to create abstract desktop wallpapers, or to ink, color, and shade furry pencil drawings, but has since become very unproductive at home, especially since he started to work full time.

When he's not working, sleeping, or roleplaying on FurNet, he's playing video games. Some of his computer skills include developing web pages using (X)HTML and PHP, as well as programming in C++. These skills have not been tapped into in quite some time, however.

Some of Austin's "offline" hobbies include caring for his dog Monty, swimming, watching movies and television, and listening to music. Of course, Austin's biggest interest is his boyfriend Koebi.
