Once there, his life is saved by Dr. Ken Donnoura, who performs an experimental heart surgery by injecting him with [[Wikipedia:Nanite|nanites]]. Sgt. Kratt is accidentally sent into the future by [[Miki]] and [[Rokko]], after they mistake his helicopter for one carrying Delta Force operatives. After his helicopter crashes into a skyscraper in downtown [[Yukoutoki Major]], the sergeant is accidentally shot by the [[Andorozon]] [[Tsuneko]] in a friendly fire incident. He is saved only when [[Dr. Ken Donnoura]] tries an experimental surgery on his heart using nanites, which turn him into a humanimal. When he awakens from his two month stasis session, he finds the [[Evil Cat Sisters]] (ECS) are ransacking [[Sei Ryu Labs]].

Born in May of 1983, Katrina has been in the [[furry fandom]] since 1999, though not really active in the community until late 2003. She is a founder of [[Bluegrass Furs]], which started in early 2004. She is also an artist, with accounts on [[Fur Affinity]] and [[deviantArt]]. She is also a member of [[Derby City Furs]].

==Character==
Darktiger77 is a [[female]] [[Wikipedia:Sumatran Tiger|Sumatran tigress]], standing at 5 foot 8 inches, in [[anthro]] form. Her color is black color where the typical orange is, and charcoal gray stripes, hence the name. Her stripes resemble tribal tattoo designs instead of the typical tiger stripes. She is usually found wearing a tank top and jeans, a very down to earth kitty, she is very open minded, and it is rather hard to get on her bad side.

She is usually in anthro form, though will on occasion be in [[feral]] form. In feral form, her facial characteristics take on a more [[animal]]-like form, seeming to lose all their [[human]] similarities. Usually in this form, she is hunting something, or in a not so pleasant mood.

Her markings still remain the same in both forms, and she also retains her piercings, two in each ear.

==Fursuit==
Darktiger's [[fursuit]] premiered at [[Anthrocon 2007]]. The suit was created by [[Silent Ravyn]]. All stripes on the suit are hand-sewn. There are 61 stripe pieces in the whole suit that were all sewn in, and if done in one sitting would have taken 4 straight days of sewing to complete. The head is built on a balaclava base with moving jaw and 3D eyes. Darktiger's first convention was [[Anthrocon 2007]] where she premiered her fursuit. Since then she has attended [[Mephit Furmeet 2007]] and is planning to attend [[Midwest Furfest]] and [[Rocket City Furmeet]].
==Real world==
Katrina graduated from [http://www.jefferson.k12.ky.us/Schools/High/Butler/ Butler Traditional High School] in 2001, while in high school she was involved in the band playing [[Wikipedia:Trumpet|trumpet]] and [[Wikipedia:Clarinet|clarinet]], was in All-State and Quad-State choirs her senior year, and even won a scholarship when she helped the bowling team win regionals (which was the highest competition at the time). She was also involved with [[Wikipedia:Winter guard|winterguard]] and was a member of the senior prom committee. She is also kept busy by her son, born in December 2002.

Katrina currently works for the [[Wikipedia:Geek Squad|Geek Squad]] since August 2006 at Geek Squad City in Brooks, KY. She helps tame unruly computer behavior as a CIA, short for Counter Intelligence Agent.

Katrina enjoys making things with her hands. She has made jewelery, including necklaces and earrings. She has made floral arrangements, and also made flowers and centerpieces for a wedding in June 2006. She has also made a few [[tail]]s one for her own character and one for Onyx's character. She also draws abstract tribal tattoo designs and has been doing that for about 5 years now. She also does a bit of digital art including her name graphics that she makes which can take her many hours to create, also she loves to take photos and would like to be a professional photographer at some point.

=A bit about myself=
Well, what can I actually say. Well yeah, I've born in the year of the dragon, 1989. This makes me what? Yes, 18 years old, wooho. Anyhow, I live in Norway in a state called Telemark (and no, there aren't many telemarketers here).
My real Life name is Christer Jensen, and I've been part of the fandom for now good 10 years.
I started whe nI was 8, and I was more looking at anthro-animals and loved playing anthro-games. I wasn't any active at all in the furdom, due I had no idea it was anything.

Soon I started to search out on the net and well yeah, I started to find more and more about the fandom and in the end, *shrug* I am here. Mostly I stood on the side-line watching and such, but not long ago I was like *shrug* Why the hell not? and joined in to the mainstream :D.

==School, edjucation and whatnot!==
KIxt has gone 12 years at school all together, this year, 07-08 he decided to take a year off to take himself a job or two and work a lot.

His first school he was on was Langesund Barneskole. There he went until 7th grade and jumped from 7th Grade to 8th and then he started at Rugtvedt Ungdomskole and went there a year.

After that, he quit a week before the year was over and went to Stridsklev Ungdomskole there he finished off and went out in 10th grade.

Now his best years started, well his best TWO years. IT was on Sove Vidregaaendeskole. A school or college kind off place up in a place called Ulefoss. There he gained a lot of friends and was one of the "popular" kids.

He went at Sove for two years, to 12th and there he quit, one because he dumped both years, it wa shis best time but also his worst time as well.

While French is his mother tongue, he learned English at school and doesn't have too much trouble expressing himself in this language on Internet. He has been drawing since childhood but has only seriously worked on improving his art since 2005. His interests aren't limited to [[anthropomorphic]] arts and he is fond of other types of illustration, photography, and calligraphy. His favourite media are inks and watercolours, but he also work with [[Wikipedia:Prismacolor|Prismacolor]] markers and pencils, and can use digital ways as well to colour his works (previously Photoshop 7 under Windows, The Gimp under Linux nowadays).

When not in Naboombu, King Elliott can often be found in Central Florida, on ancestral lands given to King Leonidas.

While governing Naboombu is a full time job, King Elliott still finds time to support his chosen cause, defending the rights of [[anthropomorphic]] animals. Originally, werewolves were highly respected members of the community and regarded by the Christian Church as "Dogs of God", before becoming popularized as the bloodthirsty monsters known today.

In recent times, a [[Wikipedia:Subculture|subculture]] has developed that has adopted the word ''therianthropy'' to describe a sense of intense [[furry spirituality|spiritual]] or psychological identification with a non-human animal. Members of this subculture typically refer to themselves as ''therianthropes'' or ''therians''. The word ''[[were]]'' was also common at one point, in reference to shapeshifting creatures of legend such as [[Werewolf|werewolves]], [[were]][[tiger]]s and the like, but is less common these days. One reason for the waning use of the term "were" is its growing use in the furry community to mean a more "bestial" style furry. This can be the cause of quite a few more misunderstandings between the therian and furry communities.

The [[Usenet]] group [[alt.horror.werewolves]] was founded in 1992, and in its earliest days the members discussed fictional [[shapeshifting|shapeshifters]]. Some posters began to publicly claim that they considered themselves to be partially non-human animal. A number of these people were only joking, but enough people were serious about it that it became a trend. Others who professed the same beliefs soon joined the group. The earliest therians called themselves ''lycanthropes'', but as that word more accurately describes wolf-people, ''therianthropes'' was chosen as a more inclusive term.

Those within this subculture who identify with a spiritual understanding of this phenomenon may believe that they have the spirit or soul, in whole or in part, of a non-human animal, and their beliefs often overlap to some extent with aspects of [[Wikipedia:Shamanism|shamanism]] or [[animal totem|totemism]]. Very recently an arc in the comic strip [[Jack]] was put up which featured a cockroach in a labcoat (or what looked like one) delivering a small speech at a wedding, even having a drink of wine from a martini glass and being called Kage by name by the groom and the bride. I am not sure however, if this would be placed in this article or in the Jack comic article.

The arc in question which features what might be a cameo starts on [http://www.pholph.com/index.php?Strip=854 this strip] and so far goes up to [http://www.pholph.com/index.php?Strip=858 this one]. Look, there was a dispute over 5 characters; Akina, Foxstar, Kronis, Miki, Rokko, and SGT Kratt. Akina has yet to appear in a comic, but she is a cannon character. Foxstar has appeared in several pictures with Phenix. Kronis can be considered a fan character because he appeared in a fan comic in Issue 14 and 15. Miki and Rokko are two flying squirrels that appear on pate 17 of Issue 15. SGT Kratt was a character made in a fan comic known as Codename Werewolf which appeared on the internet within 1 week of the printing of Issue 15. It did not make the cut for the Third annual or the next Extinctioners issue due to two reasons; 1. It was not made in time for the annual. 2. Shawntae Howard already had several storylines that needed to be closed, so it was not feasable to have it put in the next Extinctioners Issue. {{unsigned|Hyenafur}}

Ok... Well, my problem with this situation is that the pages being added are in regards to characters who are mainly those of fan fictions and should not be included. Also pages added that do concern canon character contain almost no relevent information as well as pictures with no licences. those are my problms with what is happening - [[User:RVDDP2501|RVDDP2501]] 02:36, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

I also want to say make something clear; the reason some of those are vague is because they've only briefly appeared in 1 issue and have yet to make another appearance. Plus, because of my comic, I know certain details that I have sworn never to reveal until they are published, and ironically, it concerns two squirrels. I also must say that no one outside of Shawntae Howard and Ken Singshow has ever taken Codename Werewolf seriously, and have continually called it just some piece of fan crap that has nothing cannon about it. On the contrary, I recieved cudoes from both comic artists on how I kept all the Andorozon characters in character. And had it not been for certain circumstances, it may well have been put in an Extinctioners Issue.

I have one other thing to say; if you're going to eliminate any fan characters, eliminate SGT Kratt, because Foxstar has more cannon cred than him, since he has been in many, many more pics with Phenix and Xenif than anyone else. {{unsigned|Hyenafur}}

:I don't read Extinctioners and I don't fully understand its layout. If it makes it into an issue, is it considered canon? Or is it like Star Wars Tales, which offers some non-canonical stories? Just remember that until its published it can only be considered fanfiction. Well-written fanfiction if you nailed character characterizations right. But ultimately fanfiction. On a seperate note, is this Foxstar considered canon? Just because he's been in a billion pictures doesn't cover legitimacy unless he is acknowledged by Shawn or Ken to be legit. Reading the article leaves that question very vague, so we'll let it slide until conclusive evidence may be found.

As for uploading pictures with no license, there are license options available in the upload menu. Please take time to familiarize yourself with them before you upload anything. Creating character stubs. Unless there's going to be more character information forthcoming, it's not a good idea to clutter the wiki with stubs. Not every character needs an article, especially if they're of minor importance. This isn't Star Wars where apparently the guy fondling himself in the back of the cantina is named Warf Mugato of Klendar IX, who flies the good ship Lollypop, blah blah blah, longer character history than Luke Skywalker.

Finally, my stance on fanfiction here. If it's a recurring character of a wellknown license, I suppose it's ok. I don't need all details though. All these articles could have been nicely summed up in a long article about Codename Werewolf. I appreciate all the incredible detail that went into creating your pocket universe, don't get me wrong. Also, let's avoid creating articles about Mary Sue's unless you're going to put background info about yourself in with it. I guess that's all I have to say about this. Ciao. I must point out that you're arguement is flawed as soon as you made the statement about you don't read the comic. Since you have no experience I don't believe you have the right to make the calls. I've read all the comics and own them all. Look, Codename Werewolf is nothing like the whole Cantina example and it's definately not like Star Wars Tales. The whole story was written so it would be considered cannon rather than a collection of short stories. I wrote the comic so it would fit in perfectly with the storyline of the Extinctioners without a hitch.

Foxstar is considered cannon even though he has yet to appear in a comic. To date, I am one of the few non-published Extinctioners fan comic artists only because of extrenuating circumstances. I also should point out that Commander Kitsune is also considered a canon character, because he is one of the commanders of the Solar Strike Force.

I didn't take a character and create a background. I created a character and storyline that I felt would be highly appealing to people, with the intent of trying to get published in an Extinctioners comic. There is a difference between the cantina example and what I did. The comic is recognized by Shawntae Howard and Ken Singshow, but it cannot be published at this point because of other issues. Sorry in advance if this is not formated correctly I am not very familiar with text coding and what not. I was asked to weigh in on this, as I don't totally understand what the conflict is, but as far as I'm concerned the only person who should really be editing the page is RVDDP2501, he is the one that initally contacted me about making it, he's directly asked me what characters should and should be listed and I've given him permission to use images in accordance to the article and I have to say he's done an outstanding job with it. I personally know I could not myself create all that he's done and it's my info.

While I truly do appreciate people making fan characters, I do not believe it is relavent directly in the article since it is an article about the comic and it's characters directly (besides, there are tons of fan characters and it wouldn't be right or fair to feature some and not feature others, otherwise, the editing and addition of an characters could go on forever.) I try never to begrudge anyone creating fanfics, it'd be like the creator of Star Trek telling people they couldn't create their own Federation stories. As updates to information is needed usually RVDDP2501 contacts me to see what should be added and what should be. I haven't looked over the revisions (as of the time of me typing this), but I know prior to me hearing about this, what was in the article seemed accurate and I was satisfied with it (I even use it myself to remind me about certain things on certain characters).

EDIT: Ok, I have now read the whole discussion, while techincally Hyenafur is right in adding the characters Miki, Rokko, and Kronis to the list as they have actually appeared in the comic, fan characters like Foxstar should. Yes he's appeared in a lot of pictures with a canon character (Phenix), those were still commissions, drawings paid for by a fan (a very good one with a cool character but still a fan).

Perhaps a separate page for fan created information could be added, I'm not sure how that works or anything, but I would say that the main page itself should still be about the comic and comic direct characters (and yes, if it's made it into the main comic itself, it is comic canon. Annuals, however, are under the Star Wars Tales rules (as someone mentioned), open stories by fans that happened to have been published).

Any online comic events and information (Such as my online comics Artic Blue and The Adventures of Rokki and Micro) are canon story spin-offs of the printed comic (which has had a total print run to date of 16 total issues with 3 annuals).

Kit Karamak was an original character he used in some of his less-popular Star Fox stories, which can be found on the FanFiction.Net website. Kit comissioned artist MISTEROO, an [[anthropomorphic]] art student from New England to create his avater.

He's currently a shift supervisor at [[Wikipedia:Blockbuster Video|Blockbuster Video]]. His curiosity in anthropomorphic things began in 1993 when Star Fox was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Cartoons, from [[Bucky O'Hare]] to [[Sonic]], [[Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles]], [[Garfield]] and [[Heathcliff]] piqued his interest further into all things furry. His first real connection to the furry fandom came through his writings on FanFiction when several furries took interest in his work. [[Hiromi Kitsune]] became his doorway to the furry social community and, before long, he moved from Pasadena, Maryland to Richmond, Virginia to become Hiromi's roommate.

Kit left Richmond in April of 2005 to marry his long-time Internet romance from Knoxville, Tennessee. Unfortunatly, the marriage only lasted until September of 2005 and he was forced to leave the state for financial reasons. He found an apartment with a bandmate in Rockville, Maryland (just outside of Washington, D.C.) and lived there for one year.

The band began to fall apart and he moved back to his parents house during the summer of 2006 with his eldest son, Richie. When autumn came, Richie went back to his mother for the school year and Kit moved back to Richmond with Hiromi Kitsune. He stayed there until January of 2007 when his job with Budget Car and Truck Rental dried up; the location became a franchise and he was transfered to the Richmond Airport for less hours and no ability to receive commission.

Kit went back to Pasadena, Maryland with his parents to repair his finances. He has held a relationship with [[Kara Tweak]], on and off, since the end of 2005, with a hiatus from dating during most of 2006 but resumed communication with her at the end of the year and continued dating her, on and off, during 2007. They met as roleplayers in AOL text chats in Fall of 1995. He roleplayed as an anthro fox using the screen names LairdeFox, FoxOfFire and FoxOfFyre. The character's name was Fox Krenyenko, revived and reinvented for WhiteWolf VTM roleplay in 1999. The second generation of this character was not an anthropomorph.

Kit remains a huge supporter of furry fiction writing. This includes both original ''and'' fan fiction work. He hopes to be somewhat recognized for his writing and often seeks advancement in his style and technique. He often applies what he's learned to the critique he offers to fellow writers.

He states that he refuses to judge people based on any of these issues. He does not judge people based on their political or religious views. He's not judgmental of people based on their choices of Gender or Sex. Kit has stated that he has his ''own'' opinions on many different aspects of life but keeps these views to himself unless asked otherwise.

Kit is strongly against racism. He's diplomatic by nature and is against most types of conflict, especially the squabbles and arguments between individuals. He believes in working things out and trying to be friends with everyone and has stated this repeatedly in his author's notes and on forum boards throughout the Internet.

He claims not to closely follow any one political party. However, he has stated that if he were ever to run for President, it would be for the Republican Party.

Kit likes to eat anything sweet. Kit is NOT a vegan. He is a proud [[omnivore]] and doesn't exclude certain types of food based on personal statements. Hex's fursona "Rhaen" was created in late 2004 as a [[Furcadia]] [[roleplay]] character. Hex has participated in the [[furry fandom]] going on six years after discovering [[Furcadia]] and becoming an avid player. Rarely holding one character or another for any length of time, Hex (who did not carry an official handle until his joining [[Fur Affinity]] during the tail-end of 2005) roleplayed a number of equine characters. After officially joining [[Zaush]]'s website forum in 2004 under a different handle, he lightly participated in threads, until after displaying rather contradictory political beliefs decided to leave the website. After lying dormant for about a year, Hex rejoined the resurrected Fur Affinity website, where he continues to post work by artists he has commissioned. Hex also keeps a small, infrequently-updated [[Wikipedia:Livejournal|LiveJournal]], where he posts mildly important milestones or [[Wikipedia:memes|memes]] stolen from those on his friends list.

Hex's player was born in May of 1988 in his hometown of [[Wikipedia:Fort Collins|Fort Collins]] [[Wikipedia:Colorado|Colorado]] where he currently resides. He works full-time as an [[Wikipedia:Electrical Engineering|Electrical Engineer]], but is not attending school. As such, he owns several firearms- Two [[Wikipedia:AK-47|AKMs]], two [[Wikipedia:Mosin Nagant|Mosin Nagants]], and a Yugoslav M38 rifle (he previously owned several more, but traded them in for an AKMS.

An avid music fan, his favoured genre of music is 80's rock and pop music, favourite titles being "True Faith" by [[Wikipedia:New Order|New Order]], "Appetite" by [[Wikipedia:Prefab Sprout|Prefab Sprout]] and "Burning Down the House" by [[Wikipedia:The Talking Heads|The Talking Heads]]. The prototypes for Leon had been long and constantly changing. As time passed, the character grew younger and more innocent. Upon needing to shake a stigma tied to his old name [[Wikipedia:Shinji Ikari|Shinji]], David decided to take a new name and identity upon himself. Drawing from [[Wikipedia:Stephen Sondheim|Stephen Sondheim's]] musical [[Wikipedia:Assassins (musical)|Assassins]], the name Leon was taken from historical assassin [[Wikipedia:Leon Czolgoz|Leon Czolgoz]]. Leon's role was one of the few roles designed for a Bass 2 vocalist, causing David to be drawn to it. Also, feeling this would provide much ironic foil to a character with such innocent, hopeful idealisms, the name stuck.

After losing [[Greyson]] Tiger, Leon has privately vowed to wear [[Wikipedia:Uniforms_of_the_United_States_Marine_Corps#Utility_Uniform|Marine BDUs]] and carry his [[plushie|stuffed]] [[tiger]] with him at every [[convention]] to uphold the memory of his lost friend.

Even before joining the [[furry fandom]], Taren was active in the [[DDR]]/Bemani community. After picking up DDR in May 2002, he also plays [[In The Groove]], [[beatmania IIDX]] and [[Pump it Up]] on a regular basis. He has combined his passion for DDR and furry by organizing and executing the DDR tournaments at [[Midwest Furfest]] since 2005.

While others have [[sketchbook]]s filled with drawings of [[characters]], Taren has several folders and notebooks filled with mathematical computations and equations.

Taren has been involved in organized [[Wikipedia:Bowling|bowling]] leagues since he was seven years old, including four years on his high school varsity team. In that time he has bowled two YABA-sanctioned 300 games and one 299 game. His highest sanctioned series is a 748, with a 756 unsanctioned. He is known to draw from this background while bowling with a full [[fursuit]].

Since September 2005, Taren has been involved in fursuit creation. He specializes in sewing [[tail]]s, especially long [[dragon]] tails, and fleece hats.

At [[Anthrocon 2006]], he and [[Sema JayHawk]] debuted the furry fandom's first Siamese fursuit, [[Snuggles Rotterdobe]], a combination of a Rottweiler and a Doberman. Currently, he and [[Sema JayHawk]] work together to build fursuits.

Taren was originally heavily involved with the [[otherkin]] community, specifically [[dragon]]kin. He was not involved with the group [[alt.fan.dragons]], claiming they weren't being "serious enough", a very stereotypical viewpoint held by many otherkin; instead, he was involved with the site [[Draconic]], becoming a moderator at one point. After six years, he found out about the local furry organization, Lake Area Furry Friends, and decided to join. However, he still retains his [[spirituality|spiritual]] nature, but tends not to discuss it openly.
