MiniFurr (formerly MiniFurr Pohoda Březová and occasionally SaunaPurr, full name MiniFurr Sauna Polnička) is a Czech autumn furry convention organized by Aslan.

MiniFurr is a relaxacon, focusing on informal social activities rather than structured programming. Typical activities include grilling, drinking beer, liquor tasting, short hikes in the surrounding countryside, sauna sessions, and socializing by the fireplace. Earlier editions also featured a shooting range.

Food is provided on at least two of the main convention days, with free tea and coffee, and a wide selection of beer and cider. At other times, attendees are generally expected to bring their own food and drinks, although since the move to Polnička locally sourced meat and sausages have been readily available. In many later editions one of the main meals has been a whole roasted piglet served with side dishes and condiments. A local shop and several restaurants are located in the village.

The main cottage has capacity for 31 guests, with additional off-site accommodation available in a nearby pension in the village.

GreyLion Aslan also hosts other events at the same location, including SF Únor ("SciFi February") held in late February and Dementcon; one edition in May or June and another in mid-October. Although originally aimed at science fiction fans, these events now also attract many furs.

History
Minifurr was first held from 12 to 14 October 2007 and was co-organized with Tamu at Březová nad Svitavou, the same venue as ČeSFuR 1 (2005) and 2 (2006).

The first MiniFurr edition included organized activities such as Dance Dance Revolution and a raffle. While specific activities vary from year to year and are largely self-organized by attendees, the raffle has remained a recurring feature, including fun and silly prizes from the attendees in addition to organizer-provided ones.

In 2008 there was a single furry-oriented Minifurr-like event called SaunaPurr that already happened in Polnička. Since then, furs who liked the place started attending Dementcon, the Scifi event held there also since 2008.

In 2013, the convention moved to Polnička in the central Czech Highlands, with minimal changes to its overall format. As of 2026, the event continues to be held annually in late September under the name MiniFurr Sauna Polnička.

Despite the Wikipedia:COVID-19_pandemic, the convention took place in 2020 but was limited to select invited attendees to ensure safety. Due to continued popularity and limited venue capacity, MiniFurr has remained invite-only since then. Preference is generally given to long-term attendees, who may suggest new participants if space allows. As a result, international attendance outside Czechia and Slovakia has become very limited.

The anniversary edition MiniFurr XX is scheduled to take place from 24 to 28 September 2026.

Why are these using the little-known IOC country codes instead of ISO 3166-1 alpha-3? (It just took me half an hour to find the correct one for Denmark!) - unci

Updating
Suggestion to update this with the full sprites from flag-sprites.com? flag-sprites.com seems to be the origin for some of the flag sprites in this but unfortunately the site is no longer up. Thankfully the sprites themselves seem to be archived here. I have also cropped out the white borders for easier implementation available here. It covers most flags that are used today, so we can retire the usage of the following files:
* - Indonesia Flag
* - Guernesy Flag - GGY
* - Romania Flag - ROU
* - Saudi Arabia Flag - SAU
* - Jersey Flag - JEY
* - Malta Flag - MLT
* - San Marino Flag - SMR
* - Slovekia Flag - SVK
* - Gibraltar Flag - GIB
(Guernesy to Gibraltar were all used in a few data recording sections)
And use the flagdiv template instead. It would be good future-proofing for any future countries if we had all the flags available. --Pheodore (talk) 00:17, 19 January 2026 (EST)
:There shouldn't™️ be any problem with just adding them all at the bottom. Well... there might be if it goes over 4096 pixels, so are we sure we really need all of them? Perhaps the top 100? The 85 in :Category:Geography? Not sure if horizontal expansion will work so well. Initially they were not all added over bandwidth concerns, however this is less of an issue for all concerned now. The current spacing is however important as otherwise the templates display multiple flags if they happen to flow onto two or three lines. --GreenReaper(talk) 11:51, 23 January 2026 (EST)
::I think horizontal expansion can work if we define the length and width of the flag, which is 16x11 in the sprite sheet.
.f {
background-image: url(//en.wikifur.com/w/images/Flags-grid.png);
background-repeat: no-repeat; //No-repeat so it doesn't tile the flag just in case.
width: 16px;
height: 11px;
display: inline-block; //Aligns it with the text.
}
::That way we can write the rest as:
/* Row 1 */
.and { background-position: -16px 0px; }
.are { background-position: -32px 0px; }
.atg { background-position: -64px 0px; }
.aia { background-position: -80px 0px; }
.alb { background-position: -96px 0px; }
.arm { background-position: -112px 0px; }
.arg { background-position: -160px 0px; }
.asm { background-position: -172px 0px; }
.aut { background-position: -172px 0px; }
.aus { background-position: -192px 0px; }
.abw { background-position: -208px 0px; }
.ala { background-position: -224px 0px; }
/* Row 2 */
.aze { background-position: 0px -11px; }
.bih { background-position: -16px -11px; }
.brb { background-position: -32px -11px; }
.bgd { background-position: -48px -11px; }
.bel { background-position: -64px -11px; }
.bfa { background-position: -80px -11px; }
.bgr { background-position: -96px -11px; }
.bhr { background-position: -112px -11px; }
.bdi { background-position: -128px -11px; }
.ben { background-position: -144px -11px; }
.bmu { background-position: -160px -11px; }
.bru { background-position: -176px -11px; }
.bol { background-position: -192px -11px; }
.bra { background-position: -208px -11px; }
.bhs { background-position: -224px -11px; }
.btn { background-position: -240px -11px; }
::So on so forth. Since we've defined the parameters of what the css should call (with the x and y), there theoretically shouldn't be any issue with the spacing thing now since it won't show the other flags (and spaces) and just the specific dimensions we defined. We don't have to put in every country I guess... we can prioritize adding the remaining European, Central and South American and Asian countries, who're more likely to have furry events. (Although I still think there's merit in adding most countries in the spritesheet just for future-proofing! You never know, what if a country from the SWANA or African region gets a furcon next year? That way we'll have our bases covered and the only time someone will have to revisit this again is if there are any... big world events involving the existence of a country, (how morbid!)). We'll need to test out if there are any more problems but hopefully the code works out? --Pheodore (talk) 05:07, 29 January 2026 (EST)

It would indeed be very nice to have all the flags since we're missing some major ones like the flag of Slovenia. They have 2 conventions for a few years now and no flag here.--Amju (talk) 20:09, 3 February 2026 (EST)

ISO vs. IOC, Smaller Discrepancies
I also want to point out that South Africa has duplicate flags in this, the pixel flag for RSA (the IOC code) and an unpixelated flag for ZAF (the ISO code). This is lesser priority but it's an opportunity to get rid of the unpixelated flag and the RSA code. Related, I also suggest we be consistent whether we use ISO or IOC in the MediaWiki:Common.css.
For reference the following countries use ISO codes in the MediaWiki:Common.css:
* ARE - United Arab Emirates, UAE in IOC
* BGR - Bulgaria, BUL in IOC
* CHL - Chile, CHI in IOC
* HRV - Croatia, CRO in IOC
* IDN - Indonesia, INA in IOC
* LVA - Latvia, LAT in IOC
* MYS - Malaysia, MAS in IOC
* NLD - Netherlands, NED in IOC
* PHL - Philippines, PHI in IOC
* TWN - Taiwan, TPE in IOC
* VNM - Vietnam, VIE in IOC
Meanwhile the following use IOC codes:
* DEN - Denmark, DNK in ISO
* GER - Germany, DEU in ISO
* POR - Portugal, PRT in ISO
* SUI - Switzerland, CHE in IOC
There's also:
* ENG and GBR which are both used for the UK. GBR is the IOC and ISO code for the United Kingdom while ENG is the FIFA code for England.
Personally, I think we should go with using ISO codes because it covers more countries and there are less countries to convert. --Pheodore (talk) 00:17, 19 January 2026 (EST)

Pawska is a Polish furry convention organized by Volskar Furevents. It was first held from 28-30 November 2025 at Hotel Amber in Gdańsk, Poland, a venue that previously hosted Gdakon from 2014 to 2017. The convention filled the hotel's full capacity of 113 beds.

Pawska aims to recreate an old-fashioned style of furry convention, emphasizing close relationships with attendees, a cozy and social atmosphere, and a distinct vibe that larger conventions often struggle to maintain, while remaining affordable.

A smaller "zeroth edition" was held as a single-night event on 26 October 2024 at the same venue.

The second edition of Pawska is planned to take place from 26-30 November 2026 at the same venue.

MiniFurr (formerly MiniFurr Pohoda Březová and SaunaPurr, full name MiniFurr Sauna Polnička) is a Czech autumn furry convention organized by Aslan. It was first held from 12 to 14 October 2007 and was co-organized with Tamu at Březová nad Svitavou, the same venue as ČeSFuR 1 (2005) and 2 (2006).

GreyLion Aslan also hosts other events at the same location, including Vítězný Únor (held in late February) and Dementcon (one edition in May or June and another in mid-October). Although originally aimed at science fiction fans, these events now also attract many furs.

History
The first MiniFurr edition included organized activities such as Dance Dance Revolution and a raffle. While specific activities vary from year to year and are largely self-organized by attendees, the raffle has remained a recurring feature, including fun and silly prizes from the attendees in addition to organizer-provided ones.

In 2014, the convention moved to Polnička in the central Czech Highlands, with minimal changes to its overall format.

SloFluffCon (or SFC) is an international furry convention in Slovenia.

The convention was born from an idea first floated in 2020 and finally came to fruition in 2023, when the first SloFluffCon was held in the beautiful and historic Hotel Evropa, the second oldest hotel in Slovenia, located in the city of Celje. The first edition of the convention attracted attendees from all over the world, who were excited to experience everything that SFC had to offer.

SFC is designed to be an inclusive and welcoming space for furries of all kinds. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of panels and events, including Main Stage Dances, Dealers' Den, Snack Exchange, various Fursuit events, and other informative and entertaining panels. The convention staff is dedicated to providing attendees with a memorable and enjoyable experience, and encourages them to host their own events, providing them with almost everything they need.

One of the most exciting features of SFC is the convention's theme, which changes every year. This ensures that returning attendees will always experience something new and unique. SFC is a non-profit event, with all funds going towards making the next convention possible. The convention is run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the furry community and who purchase tickets just like the attendees.

Anyone can attend SFC with a full convention ticket or a day ticket, making it accessible to furries of all backgrounds and budgets. The convention provides a platform for attendees to connect, make new friends, and share their passion for the furry fandom in a safe and welcoming environment.

Overall, SloFluffCon strives to be an exciting and memorable event that furries will look forward to attending every year. The convention staff is thrilled to welcome furries from all over the world to the beautiful land of Slovenia to experience SloFluffCon.

History
2023
The first edition of SloFluffCon took place between August 19-22, 2023, at Hotel Evropa in Celje, Slovenia. The theme of the event was "Secret Agents". The convention concluded with 96 attendees, including 18 staff members, and planning for the next year's convention began soon afterward.

2024
The second SloFluffCon took place between August 24-27, 2024, again at Hotel Evropa in Celje. The venue remained the same as the first convention, but attendance increased to 168. The theme of the second convention was "Mystery at the Hotel".

2025
Due to changes in scheduling and venue availability, SloFluffCon did not take place in 2025.

2026
