Sammy The Femboy Puppy, also known as Sammy The Puppy,
Sammy The Foxxo, and AKASammyThePuppy, is a furry
content creator, streamer, community builder, avatar customizer, and software
developer. He is primarily associated with VRChat, furry community
projects, livestreaming, avatar customization, and software development. He
is the founder of the Mello Zone Furry Community.

Sammy's primary fursona is a fox/puppy hybrid with orange, cream, brown,
white, and gold coloring. The character is used across VRChat, social
media, livestreams, artwork, and other creator projects.

Character
Sammy The Femboy Puppy is a fox/puppy hybrid character and the primary
fursona associated with Sammy. The character combines visual traits
associated with both foxes and puppies.

Design
The character's primary coloration consists of orange, cream, brown, white,
and gold. Gold was incorporated into the design as a significant personal
symbol. Sammy describes the gold as representing the idea of "shining
through regardless the battle".

Artwork depicting Sammy has been created by CMG.

VRChat avatar
Sammy's primary VRChat representation is based on the Masculine Canine
avatar by Julia Winterpaw. Sammy subsequently made significant personal
changes to the avatar, including incorporating gold into its design to
reflect the character's symbolism.

The avatar is used for VRChat social activity, livestreaming, virtual
photography, videos, and other creative projects.

Physical representation
Sammy does not currently have a full fursuit. A BarkCharm Puppy Hood is
used as a physical accessory associated with the character.

Biography
Before the furry fandom
Sammy describes his childhood and adolescence as having involved difficult
environments, periods of placement, and struggles with mental health. He
entered another placement in February 2023.

His later creator biography describes this period as an important part of
the personal history that preceded his involvement in the furry fandom and
community building.

Introduction to the furry fandom
In May 2023, Sammy was introduced to the furry fandom by a friend. At
the time, he was unfamiliar with fursonas, VRChat, and much of the
broader furry community.

Sammy considers December 23, 2023, the beginning of his active furry
participation. Following his release from placement, he initially became
involved through Kik and later BARQ, where he began meeting other
members of the fandom.

As his involvement increased, Sammy became interested in VRChat and
began using it as a major social and creative platform.

VRChat and avatar development
VRChat introduced Sammy to virtual worlds, avatar-based social interaction,
and a broader range of furry communities. His interest eventually expanded
from using avatars to learning how they were made.

He began working with Unity, textures, materials, shaders, expressions,
toggles, menus, and animation controllers. Avatar customization subsequently
became one of his major creative interests.

Furry Refuge
In August 2024, Sammy became a moderator and station manager with [[Furry
Refuge]], where he worked on the organization's radio operation, networking
chats, member engagement, and community growth.

His involvement eventually ended during a difficult personal period. Sammy
has described the experience as influential in how he subsequently
approached community building, particularly his interest in creating
communities with clear expectations, accountability, accessibility, and
multiple ways for members to participate.

Community building
Sammy's community-building work developed through several projects before
the establishment of Mello Zone. These included Cennunos Pack Furries and
Pups and The Furry Nexium, as well as other shorter-lived community
experiments.

These projects involved experimentation with different community names,
platforms, moderation systems, onboarding processes, events, and structures.
The experience eventually contributed to the development of the Mello Zone
Furry Community.

Mello Zone Furry Community
Sammy founded the Mello Zone Furry Community in January 2026.

Mello Zone is an online furry community operating across Discord,
VRChat, Telegram, and the web. The community focuses on social
connection, creator activity, events, community resources, and providing
multiple ways for members to participate.

Sammy has been responsible for much of the community's technical and
organizational infrastructure, including its website, onboarding systems,
documentation, moderation infrastructure, public resources, and community
publishing.

The project developed from Sammy's earlier experiences participating in and
helping manage online communities. Rather than relying on a single
platform, Mello Zone uses multiple services for different forms of social
interaction and community activity.

Content creation
Sammy creates content across Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. His
content primarily focuses on VRChat, gaming, furry culture, community
activity, and creator projects.

His VRChat content includes social and comedic videos, virtual photography,
gaming, livestreams, and community-related material. He also produces
short-form content and livestream recordings for social media platforms.

Livestreaming
Sammy regularly livestreams VRChat and gaming content. Livestreaming also
serves as a way of bringing members of his online communities together
around shared activities.

Music
Sammy has experimented with original music, remixes, and instrumental
projects as part of his broader creator work. Documented releases include
We Were Forever (Psy Sammy Ride Remix), Remember When (Instrumental),
and Standing Through Fire (Instrumental).

Avatar customization
Sammy works with Unity and VRChat avatars, including textures,
materials, shaders, clothing, expressions, menus, and animation
controllers.

His portfolio contains both personal avatar projects and work performed for
other users. Personal avatar projects have included the Marshmello Masculine
Canine and Marshmello Mini Canine. Other documented avatar projects include
Twilight The Novabeast, Ottie the Otter, Protofloof/Protodragon, and Cooper
the Pup.

Avatar customization became one of the ways Sammy combines character
identity, visual design, and technical development.

Software development
Sammy develops software under the GitHub username foulfoxhacks. His
projects have included tools and integrations for Unity, Discord,
livestreaming, creator workflows, and website diagnostics.

UnityCord Presence
UnityCord Presence is a Unity editor integration that reports
Unity and VRChat Creator Companion project activity through Discord Rich
Presence.

The project can display information about active Unity projects and
development sessions and is designed around VRChat Creator Companion and
Unity workflows.

TikCord Presence
TikCord Presence is a Discord Rich Presence integration for TikTok
LIVE. It displays livestream information through Discord and can update or
clear the presence based on the status of the broadcast.

PearConnect Song Requests
PearConnect Song Requests is a locally operated song-request
application for Pear Desktop. It provides desktop and command-line
interfaces and supports requests originating from Twitch, YouTube chat,
and TikTok through TikFinity.

SEO-INDEX VariScripts
SEO-INDEX VariScripts is a website diagnostics toolkit developed by
Sammy. The project focuses on search-engine indexing configuration,
metadata, structured data, internal links, and related website diagnostics.
Its scoring is intended as a diagnostic system rather than a search-engine
ranking or indexing guarantee.

Creator philosophy
Sammy's creator work combines content creation, software development,
avatar customization, and community building rather than treating them as
separate areas of his work.

His public creator biography describes this approach as a continuing
process of experimentation, learning, rebuilding, and trying new ideas.
The phrase "greatness is never a finished product" is used as part of his
creator philosophy, alongside the idea that healing and personal growth
are ongoing processes.

Sammy has also described community membership as being more important than
raw member counts, emphasizing participation without requiring constant
activity and encouraging members to interact without feeling pressured to
remain continuously active.

fandom.

Furry characters
Character and fursona documentation, including character history, design,
species, artwork, avatars, and creator relationships.

Documenting online furry communities, community projects, events,
organizations, and the people who build them.

VRChat
I am particularly interested in documenting the intersection between
VRChat and the furry fandom, including avatars, creators, communities,
worlds, and virtual events.

Furry technology
I am interested in documenting software, websites, tools, and other
technology created for or used by the furry community.

My WikiFur work
I use this account to:

* improve and expand furry-related articles;
* document my own public projects and character;

* correct outdated information when reliable sources are available;
* contribute to pages relating to VRChat, furry technology, and online communities.

I try to distinguish between personal knowledge, first-party
information, and independent sources when editing.

Disclosure
I am the subject of the article Sammy The Femboy Puppy and have a direct

I believe documentation matters because communities have a habit of
forgetting their own history.

People, projects, characters, friendships, communities, and creative work
can disappear surprisingly quickly when nobody writes any of it down.

I'm interested in helping preserve that history while also contributing to
the community that is still creating it.

Furry people and creators
Documenting furry creators, community organizers, developers, artists,
streamers, and other people who have made meaningful contributions to the
fandom.

Furry characters
Character and fursona documentation, including character history, design,
species, artwork, avatars, and creator relationships.

Furry communities
Documenting online furry communities, community projects, events,
organizations, and the people who build them.

VRChat
I am particularly interested in documenting the intersection between
VRChat and the furry fandom, including avatars, creators, communities,
worlds, and virtual events.

Furry technology
I am interested in documenting software, websites, tools, and other
technology created for or used by the furry community.

My WikiFur work
I use this account to:

* improve and expand furry-related articles;
* document my own public projects and character;
* add references and external sources;
* help organize information about furry communities and creators;
* correct outdated information when reliable sources are available;
* contribute to pages relating to VRChat, furry technology, and online
communities.

I try to distinguish between personal knowledge, first-party
information, and independent sources when editing.

Disclosure
I am the subject of the article Sammy The Femboy Puppy and have a direct
connection to several of the projects described there, including Mello Zone
and my own creator and software projects.

Information about my own character, biography, projects, and experiences may
therefore come from my own published material. When editing articles about
myself or projects I am directly involved with, I try to provide sources and
make that relationship clear rather than presenting personal claims as
independent reporting.

I do not expect WikiFur to treat my own statements as independent sources.

Things I'm working on
My WikiFur to-do list changes over time. Current areas of interest include:

* expanding the Sammy The Femboy Puppy article;
* documenting the history and development of Mello Zone;

Feel free to leave suggestions on my talk page.

Personal note
I believe documentation matters because communities have a habit of
forgetting their own history.

People, projects, characters, friendships, communities, and creative work
can disappear surprisingly quickly when nobody writes any of it down.

I'm interested in helping preserve that history while also contributing to
the community that is still creating it.

Greatness is never a finished product.

Furry Con Archives (FCA) is a community-operated digital preservation project and historical archive focused on documenting the history of furry conventions and My Little Pony fandom conventions. The project collects, digitizes, catalogs, and makes convention publications and related cultural material available for historical and research purposes.

Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, Furry Con Archives maintains an online archive containing con books, program guides, convention schedules, newsletters, zines, flyers, and other fandom ephemera. In addition to operating its own collections, FCA has developed relationships with convention organizers, event services, fandom historians, and other archival projects.

The project describes its purpose as preserving material that might otherwise disappear as longtime members of the fandom downsize their collections, leave the fandom, or dispose of publications originally intended to be temporary.

History and scope
Furry Con Archives began operations in November 2025 as a project primarily concerned with preserving publications from the furry fandom. Its collecting scope later expanded to include material originating from brony and pegasister communities and My Little Pony convention circuits.

The archive approaches convention publications as historical artifacts rather than solely as souvenirs. Materials may document convention themes, guests of honor, artists, dealers, performers, staff structures, community organizations, programming, charity activities, and changes in fandom culture over time.

FCA has described this work as a form of fandom archaeology, with its online archive serving as a centralized point through which older and otherwise difficult-to-locate fandom publications can be discovered.

Mission and preservation philosophy
Furry Con Archives was created around the idea that convention publications that were originally inexpensive or disposable can acquire historical importance as the communities which produced them change.

The project's mission emphasizes digitizing conbooks, zines, schedules, flyers, and similar ephemera before the physical copies are lost, damaged, discarded, or confined to private collections. FCA makes the resulting digital collection available to the public without requiring a subscription or paid membership.

The project also encourages convention organizers and private collectors to preserve original physical material where possible and to provide digital or physical copies to archival projects rather than disposing of them.

Collections and discovery
The archive contains material from conventions in the United States and internationally, including both active and defunct events.

Users can browse material by convention and document type or search using document metadata and OCR-derived text. The archive's search system is designed to make text contained inside scanned convention material searchable rather than limiting discovery to document titles.

Major public collections include:

* Documents - digitized conbooks, program books, newsletters, flyers, zines, and related publications.
* Convention directory - material grouped according to the convention with which it is associated.
* Schedules - archived convention programming schedules and event information.
* The Vault - archival material and records that do not fit within the primary document collections.
* Archive Journal - articles and editorial material relating to convention history, preservation, archival work, and additions to the collection.

Documents can generally be viewed through the archive and downloaded as PDF files.

Technical infrastructure
During a major redevelopment in 2026, Furry Con Archives began separating its public website, archival data services, and administrative systems.

The public-facing website uses an Astro-based frontend while archive metadata is provided through a separate FCA application programming interface. This separation allows the public site to present convention records, documents, schedules, metadata, and search tools without combining the archive's staff administration functions with its public interface.

The public site also generates structured metadata for convention and document records, XML sitemaps, crawler information, social-media metadata, and other machine-readable resources intended to improve discovery of archived material.

Staff administration is handled separately from the public archive. FCA has also developed a centralized identity and authentication system using authentik, allowing administrative services to use common authentication rather than maintaining separate staff credentials for each application.

The infrastructure includes dedicated pages covering privacy, security, preservation practices, rights and permissions, staff information, and archival policies.

Preservation and redundancy
FCA uses multiple layers of preservation rather than treating the main website as the only surviving copy of its collection.

Archived files have been mirrored to the Internet Archive, where FCA maintains an additional public collection.

This approach is intended to provide redundancy if the primary FCA infrastructure becomes unavailable and to reduce dependence upon a single server or organization for preservation.

The project has also stated that, should FCA eventually become unable to continue operating, its archival database and preserved material are intended to be transferred or released so another community archivist or historical organization can continue maintaining the collection.

Organization and staff
Furry Con Archives is operated by a small staff supported by volunteer archivists and community contributors.

As of 2026, its principal staff structure includes:

* Tabitha - chair and lead administrator; involved in archival acquisition, preservation, digitization, historical research, and project administration.
* Ash - secretary.
* Rabbitasaur - consultant.
* Community archivists and volunteers - assist with locating, submitting, scanning, organizing, identifying, and documenting historical material.

FCA staff coordinate archival operations, technical development, preservation work, submissions, convention relationships, and policy decisions.

Formal meeting records began being maintained in 2026 as the project developed a more structured administrative process.

Convention and archival associations
Furry Con Archives maintains several different forms of relationship with convention organizations and fandom projects. These range from technical integrations and community partnerships to archival collaboration by individual FCA staff members.

Consurf
FCA has worked with the convention networking service Consurf to connect convention listings with historical material.

The integration allows users viewing supported events through Consurf to locate historical convention publications preserved by Furry Con Archives.

This relationship represents one of FCA's efforts to place archival material alongside modern convention-discovery infrastructure rather than requiring users to locate historical records separately.

FURCAMP
Furry Con Archives has been listed among the community partners of FURCAMP, a furry convention in Brazil.

FURCAMP publications are also represented within FCA's archival collections.

Anthrocon historical preservation
FCA personnel have also contributed to convention-specific historical preservation efforts outside the main Furry Con Archives website.

The official Anthrocon Historical Archive credits Tabitha of Furry Con Archives for locating electronic ephemera and source providers and for regenerating and optimizing digital versions of historical conbooks. Tabitha is additionally listed among the archive's content reviewers.

This work constitutes an archival association through FCA personnel rather than an indication that Anthrocon itself is operated by, owned by, or formally affiliated with Furry Con Archives.

Anthro Irish Convention
Anthro Irish Convention has been listed by Furry Con Archives among organizations identified on the archive's public website as friends of the project.

Such listings are distinct from ownership or administrative relationships and are used by FCA to recognize convention and community organizations with which the archive has developed cooperative relationships.

Community archival network
Beyond individual partnerships, FCA has increasingly positioned its infrastructure as a common preservation resource for convention organizers, historians, collectors, and other fandom archivists.

Rather than attempting to replace convention-owned historical archives, FCA can act as an additional preservation and discovery layer. Convention organizations can maintain their own historical collections while contributing copies or metadata to FCA, allowing material to be discoverable through multiple archival systems.

This model also permits convention-specific projects, individual historians, and community archives to remain organizationally independent while sharing preservation resources and references.

The approach is intended to reduce fragmentation of historical material and the risk that records from discontinued conventions become inaccessible when an event's original website disappears.

Rights, copyright, and preservation policy
Because convention publications frequently contain work by many artists, photographers, writers, designers, convention organizations, and other copyright holders, FCA maintains policies covering copyright and permissions.

The archive does not claim that the age or historical value of a document automatically places it in the public domain. Documents may therefore be identified according to their known license or copyright status, including Creative Commons licenses, explicit archival permission, traditional copyright, or cases in which no specific license is known.

FCA's rights policy provides mechanisms for copyright holders, artists, conventions, and other affected parties to contact the archive concerning attribution, licensing, or removal of material.

The archive characterizes itself primarily as a historical preservation project rather than as the original publisher of the works contained within archived convention publications.

Submissions and physical preservation
Furry Con Archives accepts both digital material and physical publications from community members and convention organizers.

Requested material includes:

* convention books and program guides;
* newsletters and zines;
* convention schedules;
* flyers and promotional material;
* maps and informational handouts;
* historical digital publications;
* discontinued or difficult-to-find convention material; and
* other physical or digital ephemera connected to fandom conventions.

Collectors who do not wish to permanently donate an original item may arrange for material to be temporarily provided for digitization and returned after scanning.

The archive particularly encourages organizers with unused convention stock and longtime fandom members reducing physical collections to contact preservation projects before discarding historical publications.

Funding and governance
Furry Con Archives is community-supported and does not place its primary archive behind advertising, subscriptions, or a paywall.

Operating expenses are supported through voluntary donations and recurring community contributions.

FCA has chosen to operate as an independent community project rather than as a registered nonprofit organization. Its staff have cited reduced administrative overhead and the ability to concentrate resources on preservation and technical operations as reasons for this structure.

Operational responsibilities are divided among project leadership, administrative staff, consultants, technical contributors, archivists, and volunteers.

The archive's continuity policy provides for preserved material and archival records to remain available to the community if the current organization can no longer maintain the service.

Statistics
By 2026, Furry Con Archives had grown from a small collection into an archive containing hundreds of digitized documents representing more than one hundred furry and pony conventions.

The exact number of documents and conventions changes as new material is submitted, recovered, processed, and indexed, and current statistics are published through the archive itself.

History
Founding and early development
Mello Zone Furry Community began in January 2026 as an online moderated furry community centered on social interaction and creative participation.

During 2026, the community developed a public website intended to provide a stable source for community rules, resources, events, support information, and verified links. Its public timeline also records the development of moderation documentation, reporting and appeal procedures, and connections between its website, Discord presence, and VRChat group.

Rather than operating solely as a Discord server, Mello Zone developed a multi-platform structure in which different services are assigned different functions.

Community model
Mello Zone describes itself as an 18+ SFW furry community. Its published rules distinguish its age requirement from its shared-content standard: membership in the adult community is restricted to people aged 18 or older, while common community spaces remain safe for work.

The community's public material identifies furries, creators, gamers, VRChat users, pups, newcomers to the fandom, and other adults interested in furry social spaces among its intended participants.

Activities advertised by the community include general conversation, gaming, artwork and media sharing, voice chats, creator activity, and virtual gatherings.

Mello Zone publishes rules covering consent, privacy, creative ownership, harassment, reporting, moderation, and appeals.

Platforms
Discord
Discord functions as Mello Zone's principal member and onboarding hub. The official platform directory describes it as the primary location for member roles, everyday conversation, announcements, support, and event access.

Community activity advertised for the Discord server includes introductions, general conversation, artwork and media sharing, gaming discussions, voice participation, and community announcements.

Mello Zone also maintains public listings on Discord community directories. Discord Me lists Mello Zone in its furry and gaming categories, while DISBOARD includes the community in furry-fandom-related listings.

VRChat
Mello Zone maintains an official VRChat group under the identifier MELLO.5355. The group is used for virtual social gatherings, world visits, avatar meetups, photographs, and announced community events.

The community's event documentation describes VRChat socials as including world hops, avatar meetups, group photo sessions, and desktop-accessible social gatherings.

Current event dates are treated as changing information. The Mello Zone website directs participants to current community announcements for event schedules, hosts, platform information, and access details.

Telegram
Mello Zone maintains an official Telegram presence as an additional communication route outside Discord.

Its public platform registry distinguishes several Telegram functions, including a main community conversation, a waiting area, social and chat directories, and rules and announcement channels.

Other platforms
The community's official platform directory also identifies public presences on additional social and gaming platforms.

These services are presented as supplementary destinations rather than replacements for the principal Discord, VRChat, Telegram, and website infrastructure.

Website and publishing
The Mello Zone website serves both as a public community directory and as a publishing platform.

Public sections include community standards, joining information, event documentation, a help center, safety and reporting routes, creator material, an official platform directory, community projects, and furry-fandom articles.

The website can be accessed independently of membership in the community's Discord or other private social spaces.

Community standards and support
Mello Zone publishes its community standards publicly rather than restricting them to its member platforms.

The website also maintains public reporting, support, and appeal routes intended for issues that require review outside ordinary social conversation.

Events
Mello Zone documents several recurring event formats rather than presenting a permanently fixed schedule. These include gaming and watch sessions, VRChat socials, creator sessions, and lower-pressure social gatherings.

The website identifies official community announcements as the current source for confirmed event dates and participation details.

Hey! I'm Sammy The Femboy Puppy. Around the internet you may also find me as AKASammyThePuppy, Sammy The Puppy, or Sammy The Foxxo.

I'm a furry creator, VRChat user, streamer, developer, avatar tinkerer, and community organizer.

That draft is being prepared for possible restoration to WikiFur's main article namespace.

Furry and creator activity
I became involved with the furry fandom in 2023. My furry activity now includes VRChat, livestreaming, avatar customization, creator content, community projects, and software development.

I spend time working with VRChat avatars and Unity, including texturing, materials, character-reference adaptation, avatar setup, clothing, expression systems, menus, and troubleshooting.

My longer creator and development portfolio is maintained on my own website:

Furry Refuge is an online furry social and gaming community that operates chat services, game servers, Furry Refuge Radio, a Mastodon-based social network, VRChat destinations, web services, and Android applications.

The community describes its purpose as providing an inclusive online space where members can socialize, play games, share creative work, and participate in community-operated projects.

History
Current Furry Refuge websites identify the community as established in 2019.

The community's public Discord presence predates that date. Discord's server directory lists a Furry Refuge server associated with the official furryrefuge.com website as having been created on December 13, 2016.

Over time, Furry Refuge developed beyond chat services into a collection of independently hosted community services, including game servers, online radio, VRChat spaces, a federated social network, websites, and mobile applications.

Community
Furry Refuge operates multiple social destinations rather than relying on a single chat platform.

Its public chat directory lists official or community-associated destinations on Discord, Telegram, Facebook, Reddit, Steam, Twitter/X, Matrix, Mastodon, Second Life, VRChat, and Bluesky.

The Discord server associated with the official Furry Refuge website describes the community as a place for furries to socialize, play games, and participate in community projects. Discord's public directory also identifies its Minecraft and Unturned servers and Furry Refuge Radio.

Community rules and age-separated areas
Furry Refuge maintains both general-audience and adult community spaces.

Its published rules require NSFW discussion and imagery to remain within designated adult chatrooms. Access to those areas is restricted to users aged 18 or older, while the community's SFW chatrooms are intended to remain family-friendly.

Furry Refuge's child-safety policy describes its services as having two access tiers: general or family-friendly areas that do not require age verification, and adult-content areas that require users to verify that they are at least 18 years old.

Game servers
Gaming has remained one of Furry Refuge's principal community activities.

Minecraft
Furry Refuge operates a public Minecraft server at mc.furryrefuge.com. The server supports Java and Bedrock-related access and uses a persistent world that the community states has been maintained across multiple Minecraft releases.

The Minecraft service includes land-claiming and gameplay extensions and provides an interactive world map and server-status information.

Furry Refuge also operates a separate CreateMC modpack server.

Other games
The community hosts additional gaming services, including a Killing Floor server and a web-based arcade.

VRChat
Furry Refuge maintains a community presence in VRChat consisting of an official group and a Furry Refuge world.

The group is used for event notifications and social gatherings. The community's VRChat world includes social and entertainment features and provides access to the Furry Refuge Radio stream.

Furry Refuge Social
Furry Refuge Social is a federated social-network service operated by Furry Refuge.

The service is based on Mastodon and ActivityPub, allowing its users to interact with accounts on other compatible Fediverse services.

Furry Refuge also publishes an Android application for the service. Google Play identifies the developer as Furry Refuge, Inc. and reports more than 1,000 downloads as of August 2026.

Furry Refuge Radio
Furry Refuge Radio is an internet radio service operated as part of the Furry Refuge community.

The main Furry Refuge website describes the station as a 24-hour service and provides access to its live stream, song-request tools, and radio schedule.

The station is available through radio.furryrefuge.com and is also promoted through Furry Refuge's Android-app ecosystem.

Other services
Furry Refuge operates a number of additional web services and community projects.

These include a community member-profile directory, rules and support sites, mascot and character-reference pages, a community shop, event information, news publishing, game documentation, and other service-specific subdomains.

The community uses Miss Moth as one of its principal mascots. Furry Refuge describes Miss Moth as an open character that community members may depict in artwork.

Mello Zone Furry Community, commonly shortened to Mello Zone, is an online furry social community founded in January 2026 by Sammy The Femboy Puppy.

The community describes itself as an 18+ community whose shared public spaces remain safe for work. Its principal public and social destinations include Discord, VRChat, Telegram, and the Mello Zone website.

The public website functions as the community's persistent information hub for standards, joining information, events, official links, support routes, creator material, community projects, and furry-fandom publishing.

History
Founding and early development
Mello Zone Furry Community began in January 2026 as an online moderated furry community centered on social interaction and creative participation.

During 2026, the community developed a public website intended to provide a stable source for community rules, resources, events, support information, and verified links. Its public timeline also records the development of additional moderation documentation, reporting and appeal procedures, and connections between its website, Discord presence, and VRChat group.

Mello Zone also maintains public listings on several Discord server directories. It is listed by Discord Me in its furry and gaming categories and by DISBOARD under furry-fandom-related tags.

The community's official platform directory also identifies public presences on Facebook, TikTok, Steam, and BARQ.

Projects
Mello Zone maintains a public project registry that distinguishes between projects that are live, being planned, or still conceptual.

As of August 2026, concepts documented in the registry included a proposed VRChat digital headquarters, experimental community tooling under the name Mello Labs, and a planned creator network.

The registry identifies these projects by development status rather than presenting planned or conceptual work as already launched.

Founder
Mello Zone Furry Community was founded by Sammy The Femboy Puppy, also known as AKASammyThePuppy and Sammy The Foxxo.

Sammy has been involved in the development of the community's website, public documentation, online infrastructure, and cross-platform presence.

His furry involvement, creator work, VRChat activity, and software projects are documented separately in the userspace draft Sammy The Femboy Puppy.

Public listings
Mello Zone has listings on several public Discord community directories.

Discord Me lists Mello Zone as a furry and gaming community and describes its advertised activities as including creator activity, gaming, artwork, and VRChat-related social interaction.

DISBOARD lists the community under tags including community, furry, fandom, and furry-fandom.

DiscordBotList also maintains a public server listing for Mello Zone Furry Community.

Regarding article Personal Exclusion (article removal) from Wikifur
* Please consult the Wikifur's page about "article exclusion" first.
* The request must be made by the article's user ONLY, with some exceptions (next of kin, lawyer/barrister, etc...).
* The exclusion will delete the ability for others to edit it any further, plus a protection layer is added by Wikifur's curators so is no longer searchable on such sites such as Google.
* NOTE: Removal of personal information is normally not the same as exclusion, and it can be done without needing curator assistance.
* The request can be made in a myriad of ways (Email, Bluesky, or Fur Affinity's DM), but the best way is to send me a DM via BlueSky at "SpirouWikifur” (Requests via Twitter [X] is no longer possible as the account is no longer operational).

Deleting my own private event page
Why am i not allowed to delete my own private event page when i kep being harassed by other fur? I already have reported said person for personally attacking me and the local private information protection is looking into my case. I have further proof that the person who runs the local community page is harassing me putting my name and slandering it on her website for local furries and then deleting it when i reported it to the same agents for private protection. I have proof if you want me to mail you. - Abby-fennec‎

:Because that is an actual (public known) furmeet event in the furry fandom (even if it is private [historical data]). If users are attacking you here, they will be banned. - Spirou (talk) 01:37, 2 December 2025 (EST)

::Dark-stardragon keeps naming me here and on her Icelandfurs website, and I keep removing it from her. Also, she kept editing my personal page and the IceFurCabin page. The event has always been private until on year when a friend wanted to open it up and from there it got closed as i got Banned from the community because people dont like my rules and kept attacking me and she still keeps on naming my event as part or used to be part of her icelandfurs when Icelandfurs is just her group and it has pushed me out of the fandom as i have had my phone number and other private info leaked by her group and she yet keps harassing me online. It has gotten to the point that people show up at my apartment and call me to threaten me. Send you on Twitter or X some screenshots I also did on Bluesky - Abby-Fennec (talk)

::: It is very difficult to give Abby-Fennec personal credit for their contributions to the community without mentioning them (they accused us of not giving credit). They keep pushing us towards having to post a disclaimer, since they are keeping many of the group's social accounts hostage (even the furaffinity) and posts drama to them every time they have a falling out with the community, impersonating IcelandFurs. They harass members and even their relatives outside of the group and blames us for any consequences. The constant gaslighting and drama gets tiring, almost a decade of it. Their attempts at drama is not discussed or mentioned in the group. Dark-stardragon (talk) 03:33, 2 December 2025 (EST)

::I have my private rights and you have no right to post about me. IceFurCabin was event made by me and run by me. Do i have to put a Gag order on you. Also i made my own group named IcelandFurz and i have not talked to any members other than friends. I have left the fandom now of my own will, and you are not getting the accounts, as it has personal DMs between other people and me. == Convention template strikes ==

Hello! So I just wanted to clarify something up, I've been adding strikes on years where the convention was either postponed or cancelled in the convention templates. This is from me patterning what GreenReaper did for FurryPinas 2020 in the FurryPinas template, which I noticed back when I was first editing the Filipino pages. I noticed that you've been removing them in some of the templates I've updated and I just wanted to clarify whether or not strike-throughs should be used to indicate cancelled/postponed events? There isn't anything in the furry book of style about this so I'm a bit confused ehe --Pheodore (talk) 14:16, 4 February 2026 (EST)

:Hallo back. Before 2025, all convention articles were using hundreds of different convention edit layouts, so from 2025 onwards, starting with Anthrocon and the (WIP) WikiFur's furry conventions unified template project, we started to unify the con layout look (strikethroughs were only used only in a handful of con articles and were/are distracting [not a clean edit, more of an old typewriter look], so they are not used in new articles or when formatting old ones).

:The hope is to finish all convention edits by summer, then move the convention unified template to the Furry Book of Style page to help on future entries. Just FYI. - Spirou (talk) 14:51, 4 February 2026 (EST)

:: Alright understood! Will retroactively go through all I edited to be more in line. Related question, italicizing the entries in the convention template to denote upcoming events that have yet to occur (i.e. remaining 2026 events and upcoming 2027 events), I assume that practice also outdated?

:: Also suggestion to provide a link to your template in the Help:Furry_Book_of_Style#Articles_about_conventions_and_events or Template:New_Convention, I know you said the plan is to move after the convention edits but speaking from experience as a new editor who started last year, I was using the template found there as a guide because I didn't know there was a more updated one to follow. ;;w;; --Pheodore (talk) 06:57, 6 February 2026 (EST)

::::All is cool. Editing is a complex task when most approved edits have yet to be implemented in the Furry Book of Style; real life and work don't help either when working on and editing the site. - Spirou (talk) 18:55, 6 February 2026 (EST)

He don't even have a secondary skunk when its belongs to my Big brother in real life that he wants it taken down is because, he paid his copyright seal on his own money he worked for. So, can you please take that description as secondary as "skunk" as taken down if you would. Thank you.

Best regards, FustyTheSkunk.

User page deletion
I would like to have my page deleted from Wikifur as I have moved on from the fandom and have already had one RL acquaintance discover my fursona work and begin asking very, very awkward questions. I requested this via the forum back in December but did not receive a response of any sort, after attempting to edit it and remove my information myself.

The page is here: https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Scian_Rosenthorne

Also, apologies for not signing in using my original account to request this, but my account is so old it no longer appears to be functional on Wikifur's site. I'm willing to verify whatever information is necessary to have it removed.

Thanks!

Title of Ursa Major Awards graphic story
Hello Spirou!
Regarding the titles of the entries in the 2025 Ursa Major Awards graphic story category, the title of the entry "Incomplete Control" (which I am the creator of) was incorrectly listing the title of the previous year's comic book collection on Amazon, rather than the current online comic series itself which is what was up for nomination. The official Ursa Major Awards site clearly states "Incomplete Control" as the entry and links to the comic's main site on Comicfury rather than on Amazon, hence why I changed the title back to simply just "Incomplete Control" for the sake of consistency. I hope that there will be no further issues where this is

:Hallo and thanks for the reply/explanation!. Removal of valid data (connected to the comic, but not the intended comic) without explanation is always suspect, so thank you again for clarifying the issue, being the author in question.

:The removal left editors without a way to connect the award to the webcomic until a proper new article could be generated.

:So again, Thanks for the help and cheers!. - Spirou (talk) 20:39, 4 April 2026 (EDT)

Right category for event page
Hello Spirou! I helped create the Growl page and noticed the category was changed from "local event" to "furmeet," which isn't quite accurate. Growl is a party held on a roughly bimonthly basis — not a furmeet. I originally categorized it as a local event because "rave" falls under conventions same with Room party, and Growl is not in a convention neither associate with one. I'd love to find the right category together — do you have a suggestion for how it should be classified? Thanks for your work on the wiki! Mochee

Harassment from X is now on my profile and talk page, There are a couple of people on X who were harassing me calling me all sorts because I associated with another furry they didn't like, I'm no longer on X because I left a comment about banning a music concert because it was used to promote hate and I got mass reported. These two people think I'm a registered mod here and they have all sorts of random untrue beliefs, I know anyone can revert stuff but I would prefer if you looked at it and did so if it's against the rules thanks. I don't engage with these people and I'm sorry it's come here for some reason as all I'm just doing is working on my sites, projects, and personal improvement learning etc. I can't do anything about the group on X as I'm not allowed on there with alts or business accounts I assume.

For the Transform Into A Furry: Two-Dimensional Beast Design Creation Collection art book, you uploaded a cover a while back. :it is still a long, tiring, and taxing ongoing project, working on a myriad of entries at the same time. I apologize that I didn't leave a sufficient edit reason to explain my action, which led to the scolding on my talk page, which shook me enough to worry that I had a blemish on my account and avoided further contributing. Now it's been two years and being part of other wikis and collaborative efforts, mostly uploading and editing e621 posts, I've learned a lot more wiki etiquette. == Suggestion regarding privacy correction on YonKaGor's article ==

Hello Spirou,

I am writing to clear up a misunderstanding regarding my past edits on the YonKaGor article from my home IP address.

My intention was never to engage in disruptive editing. I was trying to remove the specific city of "Ottawa" from the biography because it is unconfirmed fandom speculation. YonKaGor has publicly joked about their location on official profiles (listing it as "The Seven Seas" or "Australia") precisely to keep their exact city private. The only verified, public fact is that they moved to Canada.

Major platforms like Wikitubia and the KennYon Fandom Wiki have already removed the unconfirmed city to respect the creator's privacy and ensure factual accuracy.

I apologize if my past attempts to fix this came across as improper. I want to assure you that I am fully committed to following WikiFur's guidelines and working constructively with the moderation team from now on.

Thank you for your time and for keeping the wiki secure. - 190.122.54.81

Sammy The Femboy Puppy userspace draft review
Hi Spirou,

Following your 24 August deletion note for Sammy The Femboy Puppy, I have rebuilt the article in my userspace at:

The Femboy Puppy

I substantially reduced the previous article, removed duplicated and promotional-style sections, separated the biography from my personal user page, added inline references, and kept the draft focused on furry fandom involvement, VRChat, content creation, development, Mello Zone, and creator identity.

I have also tried to follow the Furry Book of Style and have left the page in userspace rather than attempting to recreate the deleted mainspace article.

When you have time, could you review the draft and let me know what still needs to be corrected before it could be considered for restoration to mainspace?

Sammy The Femboy Puppy, also known as AKASammyThePuppy, Sammy The Puppy, and Sammy The Foxxo (real name Sammy Freyermuth; born 2006), is an American furry creator, VRChat user, streamer, avatar creator, developer, and community organizer from Butler, Pennsylvania, based in the Pittsburgh area. He has stated that he plans to use the name Sammy Belcastro. His furry identity combines fox- and puppy-oriented names and imagery.

Sammy is the founder of the Mello Zone Furry Community and publishes creator and development work through the AKASammyThePuppy and foulfoxhacks identities. His work includes VRChat content and avatar customization, livestreaming, community infrastructure, web development, search and indexing tools, Unity integrations, and streaming utilities.

He describes his broader ambition as helping build a better furry fandom: one where community means more than a member counter, creators can be credited and supported, people can return after being away, and social spaces have understandable boundaries and accountability.

Early life and entry into furry fandom
Sammy was born in 2006 in Butler, Pennsylvania. His creator biography describes a difficult childhood and periods spent moving through placements and treatment while trying to find stability. By February 2023, he had entered another placement. At the time, streaming, VRChat, software development, and community leadership were not yet major parts of his life.

In May 2023, a friend introduced Sammy to the furry fandom. He has described having little familiarity at the time with fursonas, conventions, furry creators, or the role social virtual reality had developed within the fandom.

Sammy considers December 23, 2023 the beginning of his active furry journey. He was released from placement on that date and began meeting other furries through Kik. He later discovered BARQ, expanded his social circle, and gradually became more comfortable participating in furry spaces.

The distinction between the two dates is intentional in his own account: May 2023 was his introduction to the fandom, while December 23 marks the beginning of his active participation.

VRChat and avatar work
VRChat became one of Sammy's principal creative and social platforms. He uses it for social interaction, community nights, streaming, world hopping, virtual photography, group events, and avatar work.

His interest in VRChat eventually expanded from using avatars to understanding how they are constructed. His work has included Unity setup, texturing, materials, shaders, clothing, expression systems, menus, animation controllers, toggles, reference matching, and Substance-based texture work.

Sammy's public portfolio documents ten avatar projects and customizations. Examples include Twilight The Novabeast, Marshmello Masculine Canine, Dakota, Jacob Wolfblitzer Masculine Canine, Ottie the Otter, Protofloof / Protodragon, Cooper the Pup, and Nightmare Fang.

The projects range from personal avatar variants to reference-based character adaptations and work for other users. Rather than treating avatars only as finished models, Sammy's portfolio documents parts of the process between supplied character references, texture or Substance work, Unity implementation, clothing, markings, and in-world presentation.

Community involvement
By August 2024, Sammy had become a moderator and station manager with Furry Refuge. According to his biography, his work there included involvement with the radio operation, networking chats, member engagement, promotion, and efforts to expand activity.

The experience introduced him to the less visible work behind online communities: moderation, programming, communication, promotion, conflict, and responsibility. His involvement later ended during a difficult period. Sammy has described the experience less as the end of his interest in community and more as the event that pushed him to ask how he would design a community differently.

Before Mello Zone, Sammy experimented with several community concepts, including Cennunos Pack Furries and Pups and The Furry Nexium. He repeatedly changed names, onboarding, moderation systems, platforms, events, and community structure while trying to learn what encouraged people to participate and return.

He later summarized that process with the view that trial and error did not delay Mello Zone; it created it.

Mello Zone Furry Community
Sammy founded the Mello Zone Furry Community in January 2026. The project became his largest community effort and grew from earlier experiments into an 18+ furry community whose shared spaces are safe for work.

Mello Zone operates across several platforms instead of treating one Discord server as the entire project. Its current structure uses Discord as the primary everyday community hub, VRChat for shared social experiences and community nights, Telegram as an additional social route, and the public website as a persistent home for resources, standards, events, creator material, and editorial work.

Sammy describes the project's goal as building somewhere people can actually return to. In his public writing, a successful community is not defined mainly by its member count, but by whether people begin recognizing one another, form friendships, feel comfortable sharing unfinished work, can ask questions without being mocked, and can return after periods of inactivity without feeling that they failed a participation requirement.

He also treats boundaries, consent, privacy, creative ownership, moderation, and accountability as necessary parts of an inclusive community rather than contradictions of it.

Content creation and streaming
Sammy publishes furry, gaming, VRChat, and creator-oriented material under the AKASammyThePuppy identity. His streams can include VRChat, gaming, Fortnite, conversations, creator experiments, community nights, and spontaneous social experiences.

His primary livestream platform is Twitch, while YouTube hosts longer videos, music, edits, and other experiments. His primary TikTok account carries short-form furry, VRChat, gaming, and creator content, with a second TikTok account used for additional experiments.

The creator directory also identifies Instagram, Bluesky, X, Reddit, Facebook, VRChat, Steam, PlayStation, LinkedIn, GitHub, and Kick as official profiles or creator destinations.

Sammy does not describe creator work as one single lane. Streaming, avatars, development, music, and community projects frequently overlap. A VRChat gathering may become stream content; an avatar problem may become a Unity tool; and a website problem may become a reusable software project.

Software development
Sammy publishes software through the GitHub account foulfoxhacks. His development work is generally centered on problems encountered while running websites, working in Unity, streaming, or maintaining online communities.

SEO-INDEX VariScripts
SEO-INDEX VariScripts is a cross-platform technical SEO, indexing, GEO, and AEO diagnostic toolkit. The project includes crawler and indexing diagnostics, sitemap and canonical analysis, page-quality auditing, structured-data inspection, internal-link analysis, IndexNow support, and related search tooling.

UnityCord Presence
UnityCord Presence is a Discord Rich Presence integration for Unity and VRChat Creator Companion projects. It detects avatar and world projects, reports editor activity and Unity information, and maintains Discord presence state while the project is open.

TikCord Presence
TikCord Presence is a Node.js and TypeScript bridge that mirrors TikTok LIVE information into Discord Rich Presence, including live status and stream information.

PearConnect Song Requests
PearConnect Song Requests is a local stream song-request bridge connecting supported livestream chats with Pear Desktop. It combines Twitch, YouTube Live, and TikTok-related input into a shared queue.

For Sammy, these projects follow a recurring question documented on his creator site: "Why am I doing this manually?" Problems that begin as repetitive workflow annoyances often turn into websites, integrations, Unity tooling, streaming utilities, or automation projects.

Goals and community philosophy
Sammy's stated goal is ambitious but deliberately practical: help build a better fandom.

He does not describe that goal as controlling what furry fandom should become or presenting one community as a model everyone must follow. Instead, his public writing focuses on improving the parts he can directly influence: safer and clearer community spaces, creator attribution, useful public resources, accessible onboarding, better technical infrastructure, and opportunities for people to build recurring relationships.

His approach to community emphasizes several recurring principles:

* a member count is not the same thing as a community;
* welcoming spaces still require boundaries;
* creators should receive attribution and control over their work;
* people should be able to leave, return, and participate at different levels;
* social spaces should explain their standards before problems occur;
* community infrastructure should remain useful outside private chat histories; and
* projects should be treated as works in progress rather than pretending every experiment is finished.

One phrase used throughout Sammy's creator material is:

:Greatness is never a finished product.

His creator and community pages also use the phrase:

:Remember you deserve to exist. #KeepItMello

Online presence
Sammy's creator site maintains a canonical directory of accounts he considers official. The directory exists partly to distinguish his current profiles from copied, abandoned, renamed, or impersonating accounts.
