Ahumeniy's first contact with the Spanish furry community was in 2003 at FurryManía. After a few months, he stopped involvement.

At the end of 2005, Ahumeniy returned to the Internet and got involved in the FurryLatino community, quickly becoming part of the technical staff. Alexei J. Humeniy, or Ahumeniy, is a mid-level technical accountant and an independent programmer. He was born on August 1, 1986 in the city of Antofagasta, Chile, where he still lives with his father and sisters.

Ahumeniy's first contact with the Spanish furry community was in 2003 at FurryManía. After a few months, he stopped involvement.

At the end of 2005, Ahumeniy returned to the Internet and got involved in the FurryLatino community, quickly becoming part of the technical staff. Ahumeniy stopped his public furry activity since Nov 2006 only returning for a breif period while being part of the Furry Chile's staff and some talks to the press; However, he is still making some artworks for some furry friends.

Other projects
Ahumeniy was once working on an entirely Spanish virtual gallery based on Microsoft .NET technology, which he called GAIA.NET; this project was cancelled in July 2005. He later released GDN: GAIA.NET's database engine.

At the end of 2005, Ahumeniy made CatValley Asesorías Computacionales — also known as CatValley A.C. or simply CVAC — with a friend.

On May 30 2006, Ahumeniy bought the catvalley.cl domain.

On Jul 2006, Ahumeniy renamed GDN as AhMeBa (Ahumeniy's Meta Base); Later, on Nov 2006, Ahumeniy will release AhMeBa as an open-source project. However, AHumeniy is still the mayor contributor to the project

Until 2009, Ahumeniy was making software for some local companies, while he is still developing his Rincón de AHumeniy site and making improvements on the AhMeBa library.

On 2009, Ahumeniy gets involved on a local software company and currently works as a system engineer. Ahumeniy sold part of his rights above the AhMeBa library among other projects. AhMeBa returned to his origins and became again a content management system (CMS) branded AhMeBa Platform.

It is questionable whether Furry Chile is still a small community. It's small compared to other international communities, but with around 100 members it isn't too small right now and it certainly is the biggest chilean furry community. Ahumeniy 20:51, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Furry Latino (Alek Fuchs)

2008-08-07T02:54:37Z

Ahumeniy: /* History */ Update: June 2008 deface

Furry Latino is a website specifically made for spanish-speaking furries. It combined the news elements of Dutchfurs and FurAffinity, an art portal, forums, a chat room, a section for poetry, a video seccion (phpmotion) and an oekaki board. FurryLatino also had an separate area for adult material.

* Address: http://furrylatino.com/ and http://furrylatino.org
*Founder: Alek Fuchs
*Administrators: Alek Fuchs.
*Moderators: Dawkz, Denryuu, Zetar02
*Ran from/to: 2003 - Present

The website was 99% in Spanish, with a few English loanwords, specifically fandom ones, such as "furry," "fursona," and "yiff". Furry Latino had over 270 members, of which at least 10 were on at any given time. It also had over 70 personal galleries from Latin artists. It was run by Alek Fuchs, of Mexico, from November 2003 until March 2005, followed by Ahumeniy until April 10 of that same year, when Miguel Estrugo took over, in a planned takeover helped along by Fuchs. Following the "coup," all of Ahumeniy's information was erased from the website's database.

In February, 2008 the website opened it's doors again using a very similar interface and management that we saw in on FL 2.0

History
FurryLatino's roots can be found on the FurriesLatinos Yahoo! group, which was created on October 2003. That group includes a variety of Spanish- and English-speaking furries. Two months later, a more ambitious (technically speaking) project was born. FLA version 1.0, Initially, FLA - an abbreviation for Furry Latino America - (shortly called just as "Furry Latino") started on Metropoliglobal with one of its founder's accounts. Soon after, the website moved to its own domain, furrylatino.com, due to its growth in popularity.

*In December 2004, the website changed its hosting and its domain to furrylatino.org and changed its core code from PHP-Nuke to Xoops Being this the 2.0 FL's version.

*In December, 2005, FurryLatino lost its .org domain and moved to furrylatino.net.

*In March, 2006, FurryLatino switched to its 3.0 version based in Joomla and Alek Fuchs transferred leadership to Ahumeniy.

*April 10, 2006: Miguel Estrugo, named administrator by Alek Fuchs, took leadership of FurryLatino by changing Ahumeniy's password; Ahumeniy then deleted his own account.

*April 15, 2006: Miguel Estrugo was named Furmaster ("Furry+Webmaster") by Alek Fuchs after he gave his approval to the takeover.

*May 23, 2006: The front page of the site was replaced by Alek Fuchs with a graphic thanking everyone for their support of the site for almost three years. The graphic was accompanied by the text: "El Zorro Rojo les agradece haber sido participes de este portal hispanoparlante dedicado al Furry Art; Temporalmente permanecera cerrado mientras redefino las cosas..." (translation: "The Red Fox thanks you for your participation in this Spanish-speaking portal dedicated to furry art; it will remain temporarily closed while I redefine some things".)

*May 28, 2006: After some drama, FurryLatino goes online again

*July 21, 2006: The website is now offline.

*April 16, 2007: The domains furrylatino dot org and com points again to a FLA related index; And an "Alpha Counter" is visible.

*February 20, 2008: The Website is operative once again.

*June 20, 2008: The Website was defaced and couldn't be recovered due the lack of a backup from the hosting provider. Staff is working for a new version so there is now a page with a "shoutbox".

FlyCat Home

2008-08-07T02:42:22Z

Ahumeniy:

FlyCat Home (http://fchome.catvalley.cl) was Ahumeniy's website. It is part of A.C.'s website: http://www.catvalley.cl .

This website, along with other Ahumeniy's CV websites, was made 100% spanish spoken and there are not short-time plans to an english version.

History
Site's first version appeared on 2003 and was very simple. It lacks on all those characteristics that actual version has and was hard to update. That website was online until it disappeared without a clue.

In 2004 another version appeared, now hosted by Ahumeniy itself, but after a virus attack, the site disappeared. That website was the first in which Project was published, but with the attack, part of the original ending was lost.

In August 2005, after GAIA.NET's disappear, Ahumeniy took the core code that was being developed for GAIA's next version and published it as GDN -now known with the codename AhMeBa. The website's current version was developed as the new engine's test site.

FC Home Now
FlyCat Home was though to be the main informative source about the Trilogy and all related. But it was finally used as Ahumeniy's personal website.

FlyCat Home's current website was developed using ASP.NET technology, that was not very popular in it's time, and it needed a special server to run. Because of that, Ahumeniy mounted his own server.

The website has both blog and Fotolog characteristics -in fact, it had RSS syndication features, but the RSS engine was lost-. Also, it has a friend gallery in which the visitors can put their images -and also some gifts for Ahumeniy-. It also has a shoutboard in which visitors can post comments about the site and chat.

On Oct 10 2006, Ahumeniy published a message with the title "DEPRECIADO" ("deprecated") sealing the closure of the website. However, the site is still online and there are not plans to be permanently shut down.

Ahumeniy made on Dec 2006 a website called "Rincón de Ahumeniy" (Ahumeniy's Corner), based on the new AhMeBa 2.0 data engine, which is now Ahumeniy's own web/photo log.

FC Home was shut down on August 2007. Many of the last articles found there were moved to the "Rincón de Ahumeniy" website.

GAIA.NET

2008-08-07T02:41:07Z

Ahumeniy: Updare links

GAIA.NET -or GAIA dot NET- is an acronym for GAlería de Imágenes en ASP .NET -"Image Gallery made in ASP .NET"-. It was a virtual art gallery developed to be the first natively spanish-spoken on his kind.

All the website's code was written by Ahumeniy as a project for Furry Latino's Community.

Because of this, GAIA.NET was a furry-oriented web gallery.

The project started on February 15th 2005 and was cancelled on July 3rd 2005. In that time, a 2.0 version was planned, but it was permanently delayed. That 2.0 version's core was used by Ahumeniy to make GDN, Industries's propietary data storage system and made Home to prove his power.

On December 2005, Ahumeniy anounced GAIA 2.0's release, but he got out of time because of his work for CatValley A.C., his own commercial software company, and his work as an accountant on an industrial company.

GAIA.NET 2.0 was defintively replaced by the GaleriaSimple Project, developed in early 2006.

Alexei J. Humeniy, or Ahumeniy, is a mid-level technical accountant and an independent programmer. He was born on August 1, 1986 in the city of Antofagasta, Chile, where he lives with his mother and sisters.

Ahumeniy's first contact with the Spanish furry community was in 2003 at FurryManía. After a few months, he stopped involvement.

At the end of 2005, Ahumeniy returned to the Internet and got involved in the FurryLatino community, quickly becoming part of the technical staff. In March 2006, Ahumeniy became FurryLatino's administrator, but by April the position was taken over by Miguel Estrugo.

FlyCat
In 1997, Ahumeniy created his first character, Antonio FlyCat, in what is now known as the Trilogy. He started writing a story called The FlyCat Project in August 2004, and finished it in January 2005.

In August 2005, Ahumeniy developed Home, a website which works natively a technology he calls GDN. Later, Ahumeniy started making The FlyCat Project's second revision. FlyCat Home was deprecated in November 2006; AHumeniy said that its engine was too old to be updated. AHumeniy is replacing FlyCat Home with his new Rincón de AHumeniy (AHumeniy's Corner).

Ahumeniy: Update current situation.

FlyCat Trilogy

2006-12-11T02:29:19Z

Ahumeniy:

The FlyCat Trilogy is a collection of histories from Ahumeniy which relates the livings of antropomorphic felines -often called just as "felines" on the histories-, specially five of them.

This collection originally was formed by 3 histories -that's why it was called a trilogy-, but on the last years there was 2 more histories added to it.

Currently, the stories that are part of the FlyCat Trilogy are:

The FlyCat Project
(Proyecto FlyCat | Released Nov 2004 | Revised Ene 2005 | 2nd revision Sep 16 2006 | download)

The history is centered on Antonio FlyCat and relates the path to his freedom. It also tell us about the foundation of the CatValley town after the felines were free.
FlyCat: The Next Generation
(FlyCat: La Nueva Generación | Still being written)

The history is now centered on Felipe FlyCat, son of Antonio. It tell us about the growing of CatValley and its transition from a town to a city.

Due personal problems, Ahumeniy delayed the release of TNG until Aug 2007.
FlyCat: Mach 3
(Not written yet)

The history is centered on Lisa FlyCat, Felipe's daughter. As the original ending of the trilogy, it tell us about the living of the last of the FlyCat. It also tell us about the problems on a full grown city.

Mach 3 will have his written version after TNG was released, there was some drafts of the first chapters, but the drafts were lost on 2005.
LISA
(Still being written)

This "altern" history is centered on Elizabeth "Lisa" Würfsheider, girlfriend -and some time later, wife- of Antonio and mother of Felipe. She was rised by an human rich bussinessmen and, because of that, she tell us about another side of the human-feline relationship. She also gives us more information about her involvement with Antonio.

Due personal problems -see TNG section-, Ahumeniy delayed the release of LISA, but it is suposed to be released right after TNG.
FlyCat: The end is Near
(FlyCat: El Fin Está Cerca | Not written yet)

This history is about Lisa FlyCat's lost son, Antonio, who discover his roots in a time where the humans have decided to put an ending to the felines on the Earth. With two of this friends, and the help of his uncle Louey -also lost-, the joung Antonio starts a fight against the plans of the humans.

There was initial drafts of the first 4 chapters, but they were lost, The history will be written after the release of Mach 3.

History Development
Many of these histories are still unwritten, however, Ahumeniy keep tracks of what will occur on each history -he also has a complete storyline that covers 200 years of history more or less-.

Antropomorfo.com was a furry-oriented, Spanish-speaking website operated by elzorrorojo. The site hosts personal art galleries and included a bulletin board for community discussions. Admission to the site is based on the rules for artwork content and quality originally created by Yerf.

*Founder: Alek Fuchs
*Administrators: Alek Fuchs, Zorro Artico, Miguel Estrugo
*Ran from/to: July 26, 2006 - November 2006

It is said that Antropomorfo was a response from Alek Fuchs after FurryLatino was closed. The project had relative success, however, the reasons about its closure are unknown.

Unlike its predecesor, Antropomorfo was centered on archieve perfection of the graphical arts for the furry artists instead of being a medium of expresson for the furry fans.

Spectrum is an optimistic red fox with brown hair and blue eyes encircled by golden rings. Legend has it that he was born from a wish. Content with his own homosexuality and having few problems in his livelyhood, there's not much else that is known about this fox.

What is known is that his creator, David, was born on May 18th in Olympia, Washington.

Furry Fandom
David discovered the fandom by sheer luck when searching for manga on bittorrent|torrents when he accidentally downloaded Nightcat's entire art collection. After discussing the art with friends online and offline, the general consensus was that he should leave it alone and move on. Regardless, this curious fox pressed forward and explored what it was all about. He eventually came upon a furry BBS where he soul searched and read stories written by furry authors that influenced his decision to become a fox.

Years later, David formed a relationship with Shadow Grey Wolf and has continued to share his life across long distances for 2 years.

Studies
David is currently studying psychology and wishes to move onto a major university, majoring in the field with the intent to someday become a psychiatrist.

Furry Latino (Alek Fuchs)

2006-07-19T00:55:40Z

Ahumeniy: UPDATE: FurryLatino will be permanently switched-off at the end of 2006

Furry Latino is a website specially made for spanish-speaking furries. It combines elements of Dutchfurs and FurAffinity, in that it has news, an art portal, forums, a chat room, a section for prose and verse, and an oekaki board. FurryLatino also has an separate area for adult material.

* Address: http://furrylatino.net/

The website is 99% in Spanish, with a few loanwords from english being used as in english (such as "furry," "fursona," and "yiff"). Furry Latino had over 270 members, of which at least 10 were on at any given time. It also has over 70 personal galleries from Latin artists. It was run by Zorrache (Alek Fuchs) of Mexico from November 2003 until March 2005. Then it was lead by Ahumeniy until April 10 when Miguel Estrugo took leadership, erasing Ahumeniy from the database in a takeover attempt planned by Alek Fuchs.

History
*FurryLatino's roots can be found on the FurriesLatinos Yahoo! group, which was created on October 2003. That group includes a variety of Spanish- and English-speaking furries. Two months later, a more ambitious (technically speaking) project was born. Initially, FLA - an abbreviation for Furry Latino America - (shortly called just as "Furry Latino") started on Metropoliglobal with one of its founder's accounts. Soon after, the website moved to its own domain, furrylatino.com, due to its growth in popularity.

*In December 2004, the website changed its hosting and its domain to furrylatino.org and changed its core code from PHP-Nuke to Xoops.

*April 15, 2006: Miguel Estrugo was named Furmaster -- Furry+Webmaster -- by Alek Fuchs after he gave his approval to the takeover.

*May 23, 2006: The front page of the site was replaced with a graphic thanking everyone for their support of the site for almost three years. The graphic was accompanied by the text: "El Zorro Rojo les agradece haber sido participes de este portal hispanoparlante dedicado al Furry Art; Temporalmente permanecera cerrado mientras redefino las cosas..." (approximately, The Red Fox thanks you for your particpation in this Spanish-speaking portal dedicated to furry art; it will remain temporarily closed while I redefine some things)

*May 28, 2006: After some drama, FurryLatino goes online again

*July 14, 2006: FurryLatino website was definitively condemned. Website will go offline at the end of the year.
