Furry Raiders has drawn some criticism due to the similarity of their logo (often worn as armbands) to the swastika symbol of Nazi Germany. before the room block officially opened.

After being contacted by RMFC staff, Furry Raiders declined to drop their reservations at the Crowne Plaza. The convention staff subsequently announced:

On April 14, Furry Raiders announced that they had "released 25 rooms in total after discussion with @RMFC_Denver" and were going to "accommodate our guests much more efficiently than before".

On April 14 RMFC issued a correction to previous state via Facebook & Google+.

As of April 12, 2017, RMFC 2017 was canceled, as reported by TV Channel 7 News in Denver. Alleged suggestions of why this happened included a tweet by a furry raiderwho that a weapon would be brought to RMFC to deal with Deo Vacuus, who threatened to punch Nazis at the con.cn

This was reported to the hotel/police,cn which increased the security fee for the convention, well past operational budget.

Colorado Furries ban
In June of 2017, members of the Raiders were asked to leave Colorado Furries, a furry Telegram group, due to "community outcry as well as relatively recent events".clarify

AceStarr: Taryn Tiger moved page Talk:Alysa to Talk:Alex (artist): name.

I'm confused as to why Spirou would say this page doesn't have any references when it does? I've worked closely with equivamp to ensure that it is 100% referenced. Also, what misspellings? what grammar problems? it feels like Spirou did this just do it or something.

I undid two of your changes. The statement about pioneering the short-set, many-DJ format for convention dances to give more DJs a spotlight is important because there were no other furry conventions doing that at the time.

The word 'successfully' before self-employed is important, because there are different sorts of self-employment. A quick google search reveals failure rates for small businesses from 50% to 80% in the first 1-2 years, so having a successful business is an important detail.

<3 SimbaLion (talk)

:DJs and AC: Pioneered=established. It's still by you for AC, but Persuing=Pursuing and letters are normally use instead of numerals (1=one). -Successfully: If employed, it's redundant and time constrained ("did it just happen?"). "Larger": the inter-wiki link does not support this claim, reworded to a more neutral tone ("one of", still un-referenced, but no need to cn). Changed the Convention attendance list to Alphabetical (thanks for the missing years).

:Added clarify to the Furry Connection North: Where you involved?, if so, needs to be clarified, if not, the template can be removed. Clarify on the "Board of Directors" statement: Not clear if you accepted (and ref is something else needed, but not critical), and Resigned in 2009: Resigned from the board, from AC, or both? (unclear).

:Thank you for meeting halfway. If you prefer still "Pioneered", there is no qualms to reinstate; it just sounded at first that it was cross-furry fandom wise (Can change to "Simba pioneered the practice of promoting new talent by aggressively at Anthrocon by...". - Spirou (talk) 20:53, 20 October 2015 (EDT)

I know it's mainstream, but that shouldn't automatically exclude Schoolhouse Rock! from being here on WikiFur... if the criteria for inclusion means something can't be popular, then we better delete the articles we have on Sonic the Hedgehog or Mickey Mouse... :P

In all honesty, SHR! had about 30 or so episodes, most starring ANIMALS, and accompanying other characters and music. So you want to know about me, eh?

Well, first off the only name I'll give is Leona, or Ace. this username really needs to be updated. I follow the Jack Harkness rule:

I'm a gamer, a writer, and just generally a fun person to be around. I'm human so I do have my problems. I let my anger get the best of me sometimes. This page will be a disorganized mess I admit that, but it is what it is.

Anything else? ask.
