Abby-fennec: /* Harassment and bullying */ new section

Hey, I'm '''V. CA''', welcome to my talk page. This is the best place to contact me about WikiFur stuff, although you can also contact me on [https://www.furaffinity.net/user/vca/ Fur Affinity] - response times from any medium other than WikiFur may be much slower! Don't ask me for personal exclusion because you'll need to contact a [[WikiFur:Colleagues|curator]] for that!

==Welcome==

== Farble ==

A [http://thefarbledesigner.wixsite.com/farble/single-post/2015/10/06/What-is-a-Farble farble] appears to be a closed species, as well as a [https://www.facebook.com/groups/Farble/ Facebook community]. How should this be clarified in the article? Should it also get its own article? --[[User:V. CA|V. CA]] ([[User talk:V. CA|talk]]) 18:06, 14 November 2016 (EST)

:Due to the high number of novel new species people create, they usually don't get their own articles unless they become especially well-known and wide-spread. (For example, [[sergal]]s and [[chakat]]s.) Until then, any description of the species would usually only be added to the article about their creator. So in the case of the [[COMMONER]] article, I would add something after "farble" like "(a mythological closed species created by <nowiki>[whoever]</nowiki>)". That oughta do it.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] ([[User talk:Higgs Raccoon|talk]]) 18:16, 14 November 2016 (EST)

== Use preview ==

When making multiple edits to an article, please use the "Show preview" button to view intermediate changes, and try to limit use of the "Save page" button to when you are finished making all of your changes. Frequent use of "Save page" during editing tends to clutter the article's edit history and the site's change log.

--[[User:Equivamp|Equivamp]] - [[User talk:Equivamp|talk]] 11:40, 28 November 2016 (EST)
:Noted. I usually do that, not sure why I suddenly stopped today. --[[User:V. CA|V. CA]] ([[User talk:V. CA|talk]]) 11:46, 28 November 2016 (EST)

== Paddington ==

Since you already wrote the section on [[History of Fur Affinity]], Dragoneer posted [https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7964514/ another journal] about the Paddington DMCA, maybe you could use this to expand the section a little more. --[[User:V. :WikiFur catalogues all furries great and small. Anyway, you made an account here and have been editing, which is reason enough.--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] ([[User talk:Higgs Raccoon|talk]]) 11:02, 17 January 2017 (EST)

:Yes, probably. Thanks for the heads-up. (Actually, I think the ban period on their account has passed, so they don't need to keep changing IPs. I just wish they'd stop wasting everyone's time by ignoring the directions given to them.)--[[User:Higgs Raccoon|Higgs Raccoon]] ([[User talk:Higgs Raccoon|talk]]) 16:16, 1 February 2017 (EST)

==Meisarrg==

I know it's not technically following procedure, but I would have left [[Meisarrg]] as it was edited for now. [[Talk:Meisarrg]] shows he actually had properly requested exclusion (after I contacted them to help them) and GR confirmed it, it just slipped past I guess and wasn't removed. --[[User:FrostTheFox|FrostTheFox]] ([[User talk:FrostTheFox|talk]]) 21:48, 1 November 2017 (EDT)
:You're right, I'm sorry, I see it's excluded now. I'd usually check for things like that but in this case didn't bother knowing the history of how many times this page has needed to be reverted already. --[[User:V. CA|V. CA]] ([[User talk:V. CA|talk]]) 12:24, 2 November 2017 (EDT)

== Hello, Request and Thanks==
Hey, thank you very much for your welcome, I was wondering if you could help me out with the Wiki Furry Central page, we have created an event called Argentina FurFiesta and they listed in 2019 TBA (which is correct) but under the name "Furry Fiesta" and with the link to our page broken.

Thank you very much for your help :3! --[[User:Policho|Policho]] ([[User_talk:Policho|talk]]) 14:02, 18 October 2018 (GMT-3)
: Heya, I'm not V.CA but I went ahead and fixed this for you :) --[[User:FrostTheFox|FrostTheFox]] ([[User_talk:FrostTheFox|talk]]) 16:57, 18 October 2018 (EDT)

== Revision deletion ==

The [[Saph]] article needs revisions deleted, as somebody has added their dox. I couldn't work out how to do it myself. [[User:V. CA|V. CA]] ([[User talk:V. CA|talk]]) 04:06, 29 March 2019 (EDT)
:Thanks for letting me know - and yeah, [[Special:ListGroupRights#bureaucrat|Hiding specific revisions (deleterevision) requires bureaucrat status]]. Deleting the whole article is an option, but only in an emergency. I've hidden the offending revisions. Some information might be seen as relevant, but it's hard to imagine that the justification for holding an address and phone number outweighed the potential for harassment, and when accompanied by suggestions to do so . . . --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 15:48, 29 March 2019 (EDT)

== Redirects ==
Thank you for showing me how to use redirects, but I do not think I have the proper syntax. I am trying to re-direct [[T.E.C.]] to [[The Energetic Convention (T.E.C.)]]. Am I doing something wrong? -[[User:Meeran|Meeran]] ([[User talk:Meeran|talk]]) 19:36, 21 October 2020 (EDT)

== Thank you! ==
Thank you for the warm welcome! I am mostly here to add in a page for the event I run, [[FANG! (nightclub)|Fang]], and as of right now I am waiting to be added to autoconfirmed users so that I can properly show images on the page :)
Otherwise I've been contributing what I feel I am capable of! Still learning the ropes, but liking what I see so far. I definitely feel there is a lack of activity, but that's to be expected form a volunteer-based website! Hoping I can dedicate some time here to help provide information to the fandom <3 -[[User:Sursiq|Sursiq]] ([[User talk:Sursiq|talk]]) 13:18, 04 June 2025 (CDT)

== Fusty The Skunk‎ ==

Hey V. CA;

Is the latest added info on [[Fusty The Skunk‎]] erroneous?. Editor indicates it is not, but if you are aware that the data is not quite there, just give me a heads up, cheers. - [[User:Spirou|Spirou]] ([[User talk:Spirou|talk]]) 23:23, 8 October 2025 (EDT)
: It just seemed like a very implausible claim on a page that has a history of vandalism, I've never heard of a college teaching "Furryology" as a class, nor could I find any references to a "Rexington Area College" existing (closest I could find was Lexington College). I did a more thorough search and found [https://x.com/RexingtonArea this account] which I presume is some kind of fictional/roleplay college rather than a real establishment. [[User:V. CA|V. CA]] ([[User talk:V. CA|talk]]) 06:32, 9 October 2025 (EDT)
::Thanks for the research and heads up. Unless the editor can provide hard references, your reversal takes precedence. - [[User:Spirou|Spirou]] ([[User talk:Spirou|talk]]) 17:55, 9 October 2025 (EDT)

== I need some help to new pages ==

Hello, V. CA. I recently created all the fursuiters on this page. These include: [[Rex the Third]], [[Flynn Lynxley]], [[Zed the Woof]], [[CaffeineMutt]], and [[VexGatito]]. Could you make some higher-quality edits to make them more comfortable?

== Questions ==

Hello there, V. CA. I have a question. Could you create a few images? Such as: [[Michael Saroglou]], [[Zeph]], [[DeluxeCanine]], [[Yuko]], [[VexGatito]], [[Flynn Lynxley]], [[Graphite Artz]] and others.

== Q&A ==

Hello again, V. CA. I created [[Aldin1996]], [[FoxTomas]], [[Yaps Fox]], [[Zed the Woof]], [[Ratcha]] and [[Guard Mutt]]. Can you helping to fixed?

== Questions again ==

Hello V. CA. I created a [[SuitedWolf]], [[FoxTomas]], [[Aldin1996]], [[Zed the Woof]], [[CaffeineMutt]] and [[Flynn Lynxley]]. We wanted the page to be surprising and inspiring. Something like this? : I managed to follow it through to the [https://www.youtube.com/@RexTheSkunkOfficial/videos YouTube channel] which has existed since Feb 20 2021, has multiple videos of Rex Mathison in fursuit and otherwise seems authentic. The [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0i2K-oKa88& most recent upload] to the channel is Apr 4 2026, nearly a year after his supposed death. [[User:V. CA|V. CA]] ([[User talk:V. == [[Casualties: Unknown]] ==

For some reason a week after the article was uploaded it seemed to not get indexed by google. When I was looking for some technical explanations I thought it was the colon since there seems to be a [[W:WP:NC-COLON|similar article on Wikipedia]] that talks a little bit about it. I'm guessing then it's more of something that will resolve on its own in a few weeks? '''[[User:Xalsier|Xalsier]]''' [[User talk:Xalsier|talk]] 02:13, 28 June 2026 (EDT)
: Other articles like [[Vivisector: Beast Inside]] and [[Brutal: Paws of Fury]] seem to be indexed in Google just fine, so it's hopefully something that would end up resolving itself. I am a little intrigued how [[Gunsaw]] is already indexed while [[Casualties: Unknown]] isn't, but that could just be down to random chance of which pages Google decided to crawl. [[User:V. CA|V. ** English WikiFur vandalism has now been dealt with, thanks. Unfortunately I'm unable to deal with it anywhere else as I'm only an administrator of the English WikiFur, and you'll most likely need to contact GreenReaper for anywhere else. [[User:V. CA|V. Okay. I became aware of that limitation. I'm sorry. I'm new to the furry fandom, so I didn't know exactly how I should act in this type of situation. I am Brazilian, but I also use the English (EN Wikifur) and Filipino (TL Wikifur) Wikifur.
And I'm only 14 years old. I don't know if it's age that influences thoughts, but I must say that this vandalism situation made me nervous.
Mr. GreenReaper managed to resolve the vandalism problem at "TL Wikifur" this afternoon.
Sometimes I get restless when a complicated problem arises. It feels like the weather is colder and my hands tremble a little. But the important thing is that the vandal disappeared, right?
Thank you for your help.

(I'm not sure if the translation is completely accurate. I don't speak English very well. Sometimes I use the keyboard translator).

Abby-fennec: /* IcelandFurs socials and drama */

== IcelandFurs socials and drama ==
You are only writing this to make me give you the social i own under the name Icelandfurs because you think you own the rights to it. You cant claim the rights to ut when you were never given the rights to it. ADHD gives memory loss and the time people have spammed me and wanted me to Respond right away and on impossible unless if u dont they block me then yeah it can resolve in impulsive response and misunderstanding as well as memory loss whule under pressure. This is just flat out bullying and harassment and to be honest doesn't belong to wikifur as bullying and drama isn't allowed here hence why my screenshot got removed. {{unsigned|Abby-fennec}}

: I most definitely have ADHD as well and it might make me time-blind and recall things incorrectly that are not relevant to the current moment (I would not call it memory loss, just loss of irrelevant memory that needs reminders, that is why I keep a diary most days), but misremembering things to fit your narrative does not make you correct. It is this time-blindness and your consistent drama that has pushed me to feel the need for this kind of factual timeline because you keep saying things that aren't true. I will not unblock you because I tire of your gaslighting and drama. You call everything that reflects negatively on you a personal attack, even if people are being neutral and stating facts. This timeline is a reaction to your drama, to counter your ''memory loss'' since you do not even want to admit that you are wrong when reminded of the truth.
:You bring up old drama and then complain about it being brought up. You harass people and then complain about people retaliating, you pass things to people and then call them thieves, you delete conversations so you can call people liars. I am tired of the inconsistencies so I am making a very factual timeline about things relevant to IcelandFurs history. The only reason why this bothers you is because it is public and it is true, and you really hate to be contradicted. I have ignored your drama for many years, and this is where it has gotten me, making a timeline to prevent this from continuing. I am not bringing up personal things, this is mostly public stuff.
: You trademarked the group's name in hope of bullying us out of a name and community because you got yourself banned from the group after so many years of drama and second chances. Trademark makes this whole drama of yours into a legal issue, and legal things require factual timelines. [[User:MyraMidnight|MyraMidnight]] ([[User talk:MyraMidnight|talk]]) 09:24, 12 May 2026 (EDT)

::I am digenised with ADHD with autism and memory loss is a huge part of it. I didnt trademark Icelandfurs to gaslight everyone but to use it for collaboration offers i have been offered by three individual companies that i will not name so you cant target them for working with me. Boe signed the trademark under his company but decided to leave the company name out of it to avoid attacks on his company by you guys. Also ADHD/Autism is different and not the same for everyone and i know that as i work with a person with ADHD too and she is not the same as me and even if some traits are similar then they are not the same to everyone. Some ADHD/Autistic people have CPTSD and i have that witch triggers these memory losses and i dont have to explain everything to you and nor do you have the rights to say i dont have that condition when i do. Also from 2013 to 2020 Harry was mostly in control of everything i did and said and you know that, you even showed up at my parents place when sadly i was at Harry's place and he had pushed me through the edge at the time. I am not gonna argue with you anymore and it looks you are making Icelandfurs worse for some people with this obsession of your about what i am doing with my life and in the fandom. I recommend you focus on your family and friends. Nobody is gonna win anything by keep doing this and you are just making Icelandfurs look worse [[User:Abby-fennec|Abby Fennec]] ([[User talk:Abby-fennec|talk]]) 09:40, 12 May 2026 (EDT)

::: You do not even realize how much you are projecting yourself onto me. I do not follow you and rarely know what you are doing until you contact me directly or someone tells me "oh my, Abby is causing drama again". Half of that paragraph of yours is the general excuses and irrelevant explanations to excuse what you've done. Anything but admitting when you are wrong, am I right? == I am under attack online and need my wikifur page removed promptly. It's being used as ammo against me. ==
Hello. I am Charem, the one who https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Charem is written about.

This page is both severely outdated and severely unprofessional. Also, I'm currently under attack on other websites and this page and what's on it is being used as ammo against me further.

I made an edit removing most of the information and asking for page closure to immediately remove this legitimate problem, but a staff member reverted the page back to how it was before and insisted I contact a creator. So here I am.

I would appreciate my page simply being blanked/closed for the time being, until I can update it more thoroughly. I really hope this request can be responded-to quickly. Thank you.

If my identity needs to be proven, please contact me at any of my known contacts and I can verify this request.

==Proposed 'spammer' tag for informal patrollers to use==
I've noticed a fair number of spam articles of late so I've created a template to mark them as such, since I am not an admin (nor do I wish to become one! :D). My thought is that this gives other editors a way to quickly mark a spam article / spamming user for curators to take a look at if deletion and/or blocking is needed. The template is <nowiki>{{</nowiki>[[Template:Spammer|Spammer]]<nowiki>}}</nowiki>. I'm putting this suggestion to each of the curators; I hope this is a useful tool. If not, feel free to delete it. Hello,

I am CEO of PhoxWorx Ltd. Co. the Intellectual Property owner of WereScape.
I have noticed a couple of inaccuracies posted by other users as well as a false claim to ownership by Vtwolf82.
We are now policing the article monitoring it's edit but would prefer for the entire article to be removed from WikiFur.

https://werescape.online/wikifur.html I have prepared a statement to that degree on the projects website to help with the verification process.
You can click the link at the bottom page of the website to get back to PhoxWorx main website to further establish ownership.

If you or someone else could remove [[WereScape]] that would be greatly appreciated.
If it weren't for the fact that ANYONE including anonymous website visitors to WikiFur can edit the page then we would have considered not making such a request, but this along with the fact anyone can view history of the article seeing the incorrect information is the reasoning behind this request since the only way to make sure the accuracy of the information is to just remove it entirely. {{Unsigned|Phoxman1982|17:42, 8 September 2023}}

== Page Deletion Please! ==

Hiya, sorry to bother but I made a Wikifur page for myself years and years ago as a drunken dare, I'm now a lot older, have recently had a child and am no longer active in the community - would it be possible to have the page deleted?

It's this one; https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/KriticalError

Its just I still use the online name for things like long standing personal accounts on social media sites and I don't really want people being able to find pictures or info about my child through them, or for my child when they're older to find their way into some of my more not child safe artwork etc.

The page also contains some personal info that was included out of incredible stupidity.

Thanks in advance for taking time out of your day to read this, and happy holidays!

Accidental double post, apologies!

== Blanking and protecting a page ==

Hi Equivamp, I hope you're doing well.

I'm looking to have my old wikifur page blanked and protected, please. I can provide art of the fursona in question that isn't uploaded anywhere else or send a datestamped photo of the pawpet mentioned in the article, if that's easier to verify.

This is the page-

== Page Deletion Please!: Snowdog ==

Hi there.

I made my page years ago and came to find it on google just recently. It's got a lot of personal information that i'd just like to not be there anymore, and the artwork on the page is so old I dont even have it anymore. Also the Basingstoke Furmeets is not something I run anymore so it gives false information. I'd like it all deleted please.

The page is here: https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Snowdog

Thank you so much for understanding! Snowdog

== FeralHeart Page Needs Updated ==

It has come to my attention that the page for the animal MMORPG FeralHeart is very outdated and is currently locked against edits. The staff list is incorrect, the map list is incorrect, and the history is incomplete. Therefore, the current page for this game is presenting information which misrepresents the game. And as one of the individuals currently developing the game, I am inclined to ask that either the page be unlocked so it can be updated in order to accurately reflect the game since it is in fact still online and being actively developed. Feel free to reach out to me if you need confirmation that this information is accurate.{{Unsigned|DylanCheetah}}

== Requesting page removal but not exclusion ==

Hey, I wrote an [[https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Cloudskater|a page about myself]] a while ago and while nothing there is nothing on it that's harmful, I would prefer the page be removed from the site. I don't wish for exclusion, if someone wants to write a page about me in the future, they can, but it was kind of self centred of me to do so on my own, and I recall not even knowing how to describe myself when I was writing it. I just wanted a page for the sake of it.
Sorry for any trouble this causes, and for attempting to blank the page instead of going through the right channels for this proces.

== Requesting page removal but not exclusion 2 ==

I'm so sorry, the link to my page isn't working for some reason. The page is called Cloudskater, I don't know why linking it didn't work right.

why? what makes this "Not appropriate"? is this not a picture of the person in question or is my vision failing me? for what purpose must you remove it when it is already being displayed on another page? this leads me to believe that you must have some ulterior motives -[[User:Vilaa|Vilaa]] ([[User talk:Vilaa|talk]]) 15:48, 9 July 2025 (EDT)
:It's a picture of someone making a rude gesture. Other than that it adds nothing to the article that isn't already represented by the other photos. Grow up. And as far as ulterior motives go, don't make me laugh. --[[User:Equivamp|Equivamp]] - [[User talk:Equivamp|talk]] 15:50, 9 July 2025 (EDT)
::''"It's a picture of someone making a rude gesture."'' oh great heavens! such blasphemy to express gestures, not in my funny animal wiki!
::''"it adds nothing to the article"'' I am sure you are sapient enough to connect the dots in this case.

Sry for the cross-edit/ban. Banning while editing an article at the same time is already hard enough, while half asleep (weekend freelance job) is not recommended.

No, I don't know why, nor why he/she/they became worse the more edits they created/fixed/enhanced. To be truthful, I would have missed it all, if, for some reason, they
had to "lololololololol" spike their keyboard on the "'''Summary'''" box after every edit. - [[User:Spirou|Spirou]] ([[User talk:Spirou|talk]]) 17:45, 9 July 2025 (EDT)

'''IceFurCabin''' (also known as '''Ice Fur Cabin'''), is an annual [[cabin trip]] that happens in [[w:Iceland|Iceland]].

== Overview ==
'''IceFurCabin''' is an event that takes place at summer cabins during the autumn/winter. Mini furry con event hosted by [[Abby-Fennec]], [[Boe Bat]], [[Thomas Lux]], [[Ledronic]] and [[Quellix]]. Formar staff of the cabin were Redward, Harry, Kodi and SolviThor.

=== Mascot ===
IceFurCabins mascot is Fenrir, known as the "Fenris Wolf" from Norse mythology, and the logo has a drawing of him by [[Thomas Lux]]

=== Charity ===

IceFurCabin has usually donated bottles to the ''[[W:Bandalag íslenskra skáta|Bandalag íslenskra skáta]]'' ('''''BIS''''', the '''''Icelandic Boy and Girl Scout Association''''')

==History==
The initial cabin trip was in 2013, when a few members of [[IcelandFurs]] decided to rent a cabin together to host an event locally after they had attended a furry convention outside the country. It began with only six people and has grown over the years.

Kodi collie came up with the name '''IceFurCabin''' during the first meet on may 2013 during a bar meet at Ölstofan in Reykjavík with [[Iceman|Icy]], [[Myra Midnight]], Redward, Lemonjacket, SolviThor, Harr, [[Abby-Fennec|Abby]] and [[Boe Bat|Boe]]. The name is however not associated [[IceFurs]] as IceFurs was created by Wwrexy [https://www.furaffinity.net/user/icefurz/ Wwrexy FurAffinity page made June 3, 2013], [https://www.facebook.com/Icefurz/ Facebook page by Wwrexy made July 3, 2013]

The number of people that could attend was restricted to the size of the cabins, which set the limit at 8 in most cases and [[Harr]] was controlling in who could attend. [[Abby-Fennec|Abby]], [[Boe Bat]] and [[Harr]] were regulars of the event that also participated in hosting and planning activities. Those who attended the cabin trip usually split the cost evenly between themselves to make it affordable for everyone, which includes dinners, Drinks, snacks and activities but Abby covered the renting cost for the cabins as he manage to get them for cheap through his job.

[[Harr]] stopped participating after 2020 as he left the group. The following years attendance more than doubled that in 2024 two cabins were rented for the event, which increased the limit to about 23 people.

The '''IceFurCabin''' was never originally part of [[IcelandFurs]] but when Quellix joined the team in 2023 we gave it a shot. IceFurCabin has always been fully paid by [[abby-Fennec]] as only few friends got invited to it. 2024 was the only cabin trip that people paid for the event and stay but in 2025 it was once again free for all to attend and you only had to help with groceries and bring your own booze.

The Icefurcabin.is website directs to Icelandfurz.org to have the link direct somewhere while the website is being worked on and icelndfurz does not exist anymore because of repeated attacks by local Furries.

'''IceFurCabin''' (also known as '''Ice Fur Cabin'''), is an annual [[cabin trip]] that happens in [[w:Iceland|Iceland]].

== Overview ==

=== Mascot ===
IceFurCabins mascot is Fenrir, known as the "Fenris Wolf" from Norse mythology, and the logo has a drawing of him by [[Thomas Lux]]

=== Charity ===

IceFurCabin has usually donated bottles to the ''[[W:Bandalag íslenskra skáta|Bandalag íslenskra skáta]]'' ('''''BIS''''', the '''''Icelandic Boy and Girl Scout Association''''')

==History==
The initial cabin trip was in 2013, when a few members of [[IcelandFurs]] decided to rent a cabin together to host an event locally after they had attended a furry convention outside the country. It began with only six people and has grown over the years.

[[Harr]] stopped participating after 2020 as he left the group. The following year attendance more than doubled as two cabins were rented for the event, which increased the limit to about 23 people.

Quellix]] and [[Thomas Lux]] joined the event organizers team in 2023.

[[Ledronic]] aka Clara joined the team in 2025.

The number of people that could attend was restricted to the size of the cabins, which set the limit at 8 in most cases. [[Abby-Fennec|Abby]], [[Boe Bat]] and [[Harr]] were regulars of the event that also participated in hosting and planning activities. Those who attended the cabin trip usually split the cost evenly between themselves to make it affordable for everyone, which included the renting fee and dinners. Drinks, snacks and activities were rarely included in the price.

Kodi collie came up with the name '''IceFurCabin''' during the first meet on may 2013 during a bar meet at Ölstofan in Reykjavík with [[Iceman|Icy]], Redward, Lemonjacket, Solvithor, Harry, Abby and Boe.

Abby-fennec:

==History==
The initial cabin trip was in 2013, when a few members of [[IcelandFurs]] decided to rent a cabin together to host an event locally after they had attended a furry convention outside the country. It began with only six people and has grown over the years.

The name is however not associated [[IceFurs]] as IceFurs was created by Wwrexy<ref>[https://www.furaffinity.net/user/icefurz/ Wwrexy FurAffinity page made June 3, 2013]</ref><ref>[https://www.facebook.com/Icefurz/ Facebook page by Wwrexy made July 3, 2013]</ref>

This cabin trip was never officially a part of Icelandfurs. It was always independent and i know that as i started it myself with Iceman, redward, Boe, Solvithor and Harry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by [[User:Abby-fennec|Abby-fennec]] ([[User talk:Abby-fennec|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/Abby-fennec|contribs]]) 08:15, 12 May 2026‎.
: You mean it was never officially hosted by Icelandfurs, but it was clearly part of IcelandFurs in the beginning since it was centered around and hosted by it's members, as you yourself have stated many times on wikifur (and then edit it out again whenever you change your mind, but we have revisions).

* NOTE: [[WikiFur:Personal information|Removal of personal information]] is normally not the same as exclusion, and it can be done without needing curator assistance.

Why am i not allowed to delete my own private event page when i kep being harassed by other fur? I already have reported said person for personally attacking me and the local private information protection is looking into my case. I have further proof that the person who runs the local community page is harassing me putting my name and slandering it on her website for local furries and then deleting it when i reported it to the same agents for private protection. I have proof if you want me to mail you. - {{unsigned|Abby-fennec‎}}

::Dark-stardragon keeps naming me here and on her Icelandfurs website, and I keep removing it from her. Also, she kept editing my personal page and the IceFurCabin page. The event has always been private until on year when a friend wanted to open it up and from there it got closed as i got Banned from the community because people dont like my rules and kept attacking me and she still keeps on naming my event as part or used to be part of her icelandfurs when Icelandfurs is just her group and it has pushed me out of the fandom as i have had my phone number and other private info leaked by her group and she yet keps harassing me online. ::: It is very difficult to give [[Abby-Fennec]] personal credit for their contributions to the community without mentioning them (they accused us of not giving credit). They harass members and even their relatives outside of the group and blames us for any consequences. The constant gaslighting and drama gets tiring, almost a decade of it. == Convention template strikes ==

Hello! So I just wanted to clarify something up, I've been adding strikes on years where the convention was either postponed or cancelled in the convention templates. This is from me patterning what GreenReaper did for [https://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=Template:FurryPinas&diff=586463&oldid=516907 FurryPinas 2020] in the [[Template:FurryPinas|FurryPinas]] template, which I noticed back when I was first editing the Filipino pages. I noticed that you've been removing them in some of the templates I've updated and I just wanted to clarify whether or not strike-throughs should be used to indicate cancelled/postponed events? There isn't anything in the furry book of style about this so I'm a bit confused ehe --[[User:Pheodore|Pheodore]] ([[User talk:Pheodore|talk]]) 14:16, 4 February 2026 (EST)

:Hallo back. Before 2025, all convention articles were using hundreds of different convention edit layouts, so from 2025 onwards, starting with [[Anthrocon]] and the (WIP) [[WikiFur:Furry conventions unified template project|WikiFur's furry conventions unified template project]], we started to unify the con layout look ('''strikethroughs''' were only used only in a handful of con articles and were/are distracting [not a clean edit, more of an old typewriter look], so they are not used in new articles or when formatting old ones).

:The hope is to finish all convention edits by summer, then move the convention unified template to the [[Help:Furry Book of Style|Furry Book of Style]] page to help on future entries. Just FYI. - [[User:Spirou|Spirou]] ([[User talk:Spirou|talk]]) 14:51, 4 February 2026 (EST)

:: Alright understood! Will retroactively go through all I edited to be more in line. Related question, italicizing the entries in the convention template to denote upcoming events that have yet to occur (i.e. remaining 2026 events and upcoming 2027 events), I assume that practice also outdated?

:: Also suggestion to provide a link to your template in the [[Help:Furry_Book_of_Style#Articles_about_conventions_and_events]] or [[Template:New_Convention]], I know you said the plan is to move after the convention edits but speaking from experience as a new editor who started last year, I was using the template found there as a guide because I didn't know there was a more updated one to follow. ;;w;; --[[User:Pheodore|Pheodore]] ([[User talk:Pheodore|talk]]) 06:57, 6 February 2026 (EST)

Also, apologies for not signing in using my original account to request this, but my account is so old it no longer appears to be functional on Wikifur's site. I'm willing to verify whatever information is necessary to have it removed.

Thanks!

== Title of Ursa Major Awards graphic story ==

Hello Spirou!
Regarding the titles of the entries in the 2025 Ursa Major Awards graphic story category, the title of the entry "Incomplete Control" (which I am the creator of) was incorrectly listing the title of the previous year's comic book collection on Amazon, rather than the current online comic series itself which is what was up for nomination. The official Ursa Major Awards site clearly states "Incomplete Control" as the entry and links to the comic's main site on Comicfury rather than on Amazon, hence why I changed the title back to simply just "Incomplete Control" for the sake of consistency. I hope that there will be no further issues where this is

:Hallo and thanks for the reply/explanation!. Removal of valid data (connected to the comic, but not the intended comic) without explanation is always suspect, so thank you again for clarifying the issue, being the author in question.

:The removal left editors without a way to connect the award to the webcomic until a proper new article could be generated.

:So again, Thanks for the help and cheers!. - [[User:Spirou|Spirou]] ([[User talk:Spirou|talk]]) 20:39, 4 April 2026 (EDT)

== Right category for event page ==
Hello Spirou! I helped create the [[Growl (party)|Growl]] page and noticed the category was changed from "local event" to "furmeet," which isn't quite accurate. Growl is a party held on a roughly bimonthly basis — not a furmeet. I originally categorized it as a local event because "rave" falls under conventions same with Room party, and Growl is not in a convention neither associate with one. I'd love to find the right category together — do you have a suggestion for how it should be classified? Thanks for your work on the wiki! [[User:Mochee|Mochee]]

== Can you please revert the vandal ==

Harassment from X is now on my profile and talk page, There are a couple of people on X who were harassing me calling me all sorts because I associated with another furry they didn't like, I'm no longer on X because I left a comment about banning a music concert because it was used to promote hate and I got mass reported. These two people think I'm a registered mod here and they have all sorts of random untrue beliefs, I know anyone can revert stuff but I would prefer if you looked at it and did so if it's against the rules thanks. I don't engage with these people and I'm sorry it's come here for some reason as all I'm just doing is working on my sites, projects, and personal improvement learning etc. I can't do anything about the group on X as I'm not allowed on there with alts or business accounts I assume.

For the [[Transform Into A Furry: Two-Dimensional Beast Design Creation Collection]] art book, you uploaded a cover a while back. I was wondering where you found the image- for a lot of the sources I was only able to find a picture of the book tilted at a 30 degree angle. I ask because I'm trying to find a website with the cover image that the Goodreads Librarians would accept since they're a bit discerning about their sources, and right now they just have a no image placeholder for the book. You cant claim the rights to ut when you were never given the rights to it. ADHD gives memory loss and the time people have spammed me and wanted me to Respond right away and on impossible unless if u dont they block me then yeah it can resolve in impulsive response and misunderstanding as well as memory loss whule under pressure. '''IceFurCabin''' (also known as '''Ice Fur Cabin'''), is an annual [[cabin trip]] that happens in [[w:Iceland|Iceland]].

== Overview ==

=== Mascot ===
IceFurCabins mascot is Fenrir, known as the "Fenris Wolf" from Norse mythology, and the logo has a drawing of him by [[Thomas Lux]]

=== Charity ===
IceFurCabin has usually donated bottles to the ''[[W:Bandalag íslenskra skáta|Bandalag íslenskra skáta]]'' ('''''BIS''''', the '''''Icelandic Boy and Girl Scout Association''''')

==History==
The initial cabin trip was in 2013, when a few members of [[IcelandFurs]] decided to rent a cabin together to host an event locally after they had attended a furry convention outside the country. It began with only six people and has grown over the years.

Kodi collie came up with the name IceFurCabin during the first meet on may 2013 during a bar meet at Ölstofan in Reykjavík with Icey, Redward, Lemonjacket, Solvithor, Harry, Abby and Boe.

[[Harr]] stopped participating after 2020 as he left the group. The following year attendance more than doubled as two cabins were rented for the event, which increased the limit to about 23 people.

[[Quellix]] and [[Thomas Lux]] joined the event organizers team in 2023.

IceFurCabin has never been part of Icelandfurs even if some of the organisers of the event have worked with Icelandfurs. Also Icefurcabin.is directs to Icelandfurz.org to have the link direct somewhere while the website is being worked on and its not related to any icelandfurs not Icelandfurz.

IcelandFurz

Abby-fennec: /* Overview */

{{copyedit}}
{{unref}}
{{update}}
'''IcelandFurz''' was a [[social group]] for the Icelandic regional [[furry community]].

== Overview ==

'''IcelandFurz''' was established by few local furries in 2025. IcelandFurz uses the letter '''Z''' from [[W:Icelandic language|old Icelandic]], as the letter 'z' was used primarily to represent an [[W:Affricate|affricate sound]] (\([ts]\)) that developed from older consonant clusters like ts, ds, or ðs. However, this pronunciation had faded by the 20th century.

IcelandFurz is like an old Icelandic [[W:Viking Age|Viking]]-themed group.

Group doesnt exist anymore and got shut down end of april 2026

==History==
The group was initially centered around the [[cabin trip]] [[IceFurCabin]], which has been a annual event in Iceland for many years. The website ''IceFurCabin.is'' was even in the air for a short while. The IceFurCabin event had detached itself from the [[IcelandFurs]] community in 2025 as the primary hosts left the group. After the event had been held that year, the ''IceFurCabin.is'' website was taken down and replaced with ''IcelandFurz.org'', as the '''IcelandFurz''' was established as a new Icelandic furry group<ref>[[:File:Icefurcabin-website.PNG|Screenshot]] of [https://www.icelandfurz.org/ IcelandFurz.org] that shows '''IcelandFurz''' announcing themselves to be a new local furry group</ref> for Icelandic furries.

As of April 2026, the website is no longer used for the furry group, and instead functions as a charity website that links to animal rescues in Iceland.

=== Controversy ===

==== IcelandFurs socials ====

Abby had most of the original IcelandFurs' [[W:List_of_most_popular_social_platforms|social account]]s since they handled public relations for IcelandFurs between 2013 - 2019. Instead of handing those accounts over to the people still in charge of IcelandFurs in the many years since they left management, they decided to recycle these accounts by changing the display names to ''IceFurCabin''<ref name="icefurcabin_on_icelandfurs_account">[https://icelandfurs.is/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/fenrir-killing-icelandfurs.png Screenshot of IceFurCabin on IcelandFurs account] taken in June 2025</ref>, and then later it to '''IcelandFurz'''.<ref>[https://bsky.app/profile/icelandfurs.bsky.social Icelandfurs on BlueSky] that is actually '''IcelandFurz'''</ref><ref>[http://instagram.com/icelandfurs Icelandfurs on Instagram] that is actually '''IcelandFurz'''</ref><ref>[http://twitter.com/icelandfurs Icelandfurs on Twitter/X] that is actually '''IcelandFurz'''</ref><ref>[https://www.facebook.com/Icelandfurs Icelandfurs on Facebook] that is actually '''IcelandFurz'''</ref><ref>[https://www.furaffinity.net/user/icelandfurs/ Icelandfurs on FurAffinity] that is actually '''IcelandFurz'''</ref>.

'''IcelandFurz''' also created a Facebook page under the username ''IcelandFurs'' to promote their own group with paid advertisement campaigns, making it seem like Abby was still in charge of the original IcelandFurs<ref>[[:File:Icelandfurs-facebook-abby-hide-email.PNG|Screenshot of IcelandFurs on Facebook]] that is actually '''IcelandFurz''', taken on 4. December 2025</ref> group, when they were actually [[W:Block_(Internet)|banned]] from the group in June 2025<ref>[[:File:Messageforabby.jpg|Ban message for Abby on Telegram]] from [[IcelandFurs]] as uploaded by [[Abby-Fennec]], taken in June 2025</ref><ref>[https://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=Abby-Fennec&oldid=604454 Abby-Fennec's wikifur page (revision from 21. June 2025, edit made by Abby-Fennec)] that mentions how their drama has split up [[IcelandFurs]] a few times</ref>.

Abby later tried to make peace with the original IcelandFurs group by reaching out to [[Myra Midnight]] (as the representative of the original IcelandFurs group) on 6. December 2025 by offering to give them access to their old socials if only Abby was allowed handle public relations for them. Abby used to handle all the marketing for the IcelandFurs group when they were still part of the management team and still wanted to keep all their older stickers and personal merch that advertised IcelandFurs to stay directed to themselves since their fursona is on the relevant items.

==== Trademark ====

'''IcelandFurz''' decided to [[W:Trademark|trademark]] the word ''IcelandFurs''<ref>[https://www.hugverk.is/en/leit/trademark/V0140803 IcelandFurs trademark details] open to the public</ref> without letting word of the registration reach anyone in the original IcelandFurs group management until after the window for objections was closed and the trademark finalized in March of 2026. It was only then that '''IcelandFurz''' started to announce on their social media that the trademark existed, and believed themselves to now be the original IcelandFurs group with this registration<ref>[[:File:Icelandfurz_website_about.png|Screenshot]] of [https://www.icelandfurz.org/about IcelandFurz.org/about] where it describes how they believe themselves to be the original IcelandFurs group after they registered the word ''IcelandFurs'' as a trademark</ref>.

Abby sent an email to the original IcelandFurs again, this time offering to let them merge the two groups<ref>[[:File:Icelandfurz-email-about-merging-icelandfurs.PNG|Screenshot of email]] that Abby sent to [[Myra Midnight]] (as representative of IcelandFurs) about merging the two groups. Translation of email from Icelandic: "And I want to add that I am interested in merging the group if you want everything to be under the same name (IcelandFurs). But we would need to have respectful communication so that it isn't endless accusations and without arguments."</ref> under the impression that the original group no longer had rights to use their own name without the suggested merger. This forced the original IcelandFurs to finally publicly acknowledge what '''IcelandFurz''' was doing by adding a [https://icelandfurs.is/disclaimers/#disclaimer-english disclaimer to their own website] to prevent public misunderstanding about the connection between the two groups and the trademark.

The reality of the situation is that the trademark only covers business, and the original IcelandFurs group does not do business and have been the owners of a same name web domain for many years (since 2013), which hosts a website that explains in Icelandic what furry is to the local public. The original group is also well known within relevant circles as the hub of the Icelandic furry community. The registration did not invalidate the existing social group or strip them of their name.

Now '''IcelandFurz''' goes by IcelandFurs™<ref>[[:File:IcelandFurz-icelandfurs-tm.PNG|Screenshot]] of [https://www.icelandfurz.org/ IcelandFurz.org] that shows '''IcelandFurz''' calling themselves IcelandFurs™ </ref>, and claims that they are the original IcelandFurs.

This is getting ridiculous. == Filter Blocking My Website ==

Hello. I was trying to add my website to my [[Threyon]] article, but the spam filter blocked me. Unfortunately, I cannot post it here, either as the same problem occurs. DX Please contact me at threyon@gmail.com so I can send you the address.
--[[User:Threyon|Threyon]] 19:40, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
:Hi Threyon. I did some research on this, and it appears that Wikicities maintains a [http://www.wikicities.com/wiki/Spam_Blacklist Spam Blacklist], which I am guessing you may have run afoul of. Check the list and see if your site is listed there; if it is, leave a comment at [http://www.wikicities.com/wiki/Talk:Spam_Blacklist Talk:Spam Blacklist] to request and justify removal from the list. If your domain is not on that list, let us know (perhaps write it out like "www dot notreallyspam dot com"?) and we'll see if we can figure out what's causing the problem. --[[User:DuncanDaHusky|Duncan da Husky]] 16:46, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

== Problems with variable/value inheritance ==

I can't seem to get any pages to inherit the 'bot' state from their parent (that is, the page they were linked from). The reason could lie within the fact that the pages linked from it are given in this format: '/wiki/pagetitle' rather than this one: '/index.php?title=pagetitle', and from what I gather the 'bot mode' only works if the URL is shown in the latter format (I guess this has to do with PHP-applets and stuff, which I honestly don't have a clue how works :).

Does anyone know of a solution for this? --[[User:MKerris|MKerris]] 18:21, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

== Stub Deletion ==

Greetings. My name is ''[removed]''. I see there is an entry in your database under my name. I wish to have it deleted and blocked from further edits/additions. I am a very private individual in real life and do not wish a connection between my RL identity and that of my fandom avatars. Please help me out. Thank you.

== Page creation ==

Alright... I've looked up and down and all over this thing and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to simply make a brand new article. Specfically a character article in the "(species) Character" section. I know how to make a new article in Wikipedia, but this thing is baffling me! Help?

:There are various ways:
* Link to the article from another article, then click the red link (do it in a preview or in the sandbox if you don't want the link to last)
* Search for an article and click the red link when it doesn't come up
* Type it directly into the URL box and go to that page, then click edit
:How did you do it on Wikipedia? --{{UT|GreenReaper}} 00:09, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

::I would note a nifty feature that was in the [http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Archived_Wikia_news_box_messages Wikicities/Wikia News Box] a few weeks ago: [http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Inputbox The inputbox]. This question seems to be common enough that perhaps we could implement something similar on WikiFur and feature it on [[WikiFur:Community Central|Community Central]]? --[[User:DuncanDaHusky|Duncan da Husky]] 01:07, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

== Image copyrights ==

I was just wondering... [[:Image:KaloFoxfire.JPG]] is a image commissioned from an artist ([[Foux]]) by me, and then edited slightly (cropped). What copyright(s) would it fall under? Are there any special tags I need to add to the image? [[User:KaloFoxfire|KaloFoxfire]] 19:56, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

:It is under the artist's copyright. The cropping is a trivial modification that does not affect this. However, most commissions operate under the (often implicit) agreement that the image may be used by the commissioner to represent the character concerned, at least in non-profit ways. You should use the <nowiki>{{fursona}}</nowiki> tag on the image description page to signify this.

:Also, to make a ''link'' to an image, put a : in front of the Image: - <nowiki>[[:Image:KaloFoxfire.JPG]]</nowiki>. --{{UT|GreenReaper}} 21:27, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

== Trouble changing an article name ==

I'm trying to change an article name, but the request keeps timing out. I'd like to change the page on [[Fat furs]] to a more technical term (Lipophilia) before explaining in further detail what that particular group of furs is all about. Perhaps you could help me by manually changing the title? Thanks!

--[[User:Rourkie|Rourkie]] 15:02, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

:I'd be happy to help with this, but I did have a question: would this be a case where perhaps an interwiki link to the Wikipedia entry on [[Wikipedia:Fat fetishism|fat fetishism]] might be a better approach? Since lipophilia isn't a uniquely furry paraphilia, I think an argument can be made that we don't need an article exclusively about it on WikiFur.----[[User:DuncanDaHusky|DuncanDaHusky]]([[User talk:DuncanDaHusky|talk]]) 15:31, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

== How to prevent someone from editing my Wikifur page ==

Someone who appears to have a vendetta against me because of a comment I made in his LJ is putting this quote on the Wikifur page I created that I've tried to remove, only for him to constantly put it back. How can I block him from editing my page? Thanks.

--[[User:Jeremy, the Duke of Otterland|Jeremy, the Duke of Otterland]]

:Firstly, please be aware that it is not "your page". It is "the page about you". The page which is "your page" is [[User:Jeremy, the Duke of Otterland]], which is typically written in the first person by you, and will generally only be edited in situations where someone is specifically causing a problem or is making a personal attack on another contributor. The page ''about'' you is written by in the third person by '''everyone'''. The plus side is that it has some appearance of impartiality, and with some cause . . . because the downside is that it reflects people's opinions of you, which may not always be to your credit.

:The best way to avoid this is to avoid deliberately pissing other people off so they don't feel the need to raise an issue about it in the first place. :-) Failing that, note your objection on the discussion page attached to the article, and others can figure out how best to present the appropriate information while retaining a [[Wikipedia:Neutral point of view|neutral]]. We can usually figure out a way that works for everyone.

:I've made an edit that makes it clear that the quote is a reference for a specific part of the article, and linked it with appropriate text. Perhaps this is a good solution for this particular problem?

:Personally, I don't feel politics is much to do with [[furry fandom]], and would prefer to keep it out of the site as much as possible. There are [[wikia:Campaigns|other places for that]].

:(sorry for delay in replying here - I had [[Talk:Starfinder|other]] [[Talk:Taurin Fox|things]] on my mind . . .) --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 04:00, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

== Untitled! comic article. ==

Hello, I'm the creator of the webcomic ''[[Untitled!]]'' and I don't particularly want it listed on this site. Is there any way I can have the article removed?
--13:10, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

:Hi there! In a few words: No, because it's a public work of interest to the furry community, but if you don't want your real name there you can replace it with a fan name.

:In more words: Our policy is that past or present public creative works that appear to relate to [[furry fandom]] should be listed, regardless or whether or not the creator is a member (past or present) of the fandom or associated communities, and regardless of the author's wishes. Looking at it (and having read it in the past), I would say it meets these criteria.

:We '''do''' have a [[WikiFur:Personal information|personal information policy]] that relates to information about yourself (such as your real name, who you are, and where you live). If you wish to be excluded under this policy, or to request that the page about you be editable only by yourself and administrators (see the policy for details) then you may request that separately. Given the anonymous nature I would request that you send an email to greenreaper AT hotmail DOT com confirming it from an account that can be identified as yours (such as your yahoo account) if you wish this.

:The policy runs into problems when it comes to identifying comics, as it seems inappropriate to list a comic without reference to its author. This has been discussed previously at [[Talk:Guardian Knights]]. However if you do not want your real name listed on this website you could replace it with a fan name that is known as yours - twapa, for example. The intention of this would be that people could find out your contributions to the fandom, but people who are not members of the fandom would not find the page by searching from your real-life name.

:I hope this answers the above. If you have further questions, feel free to reply here or to email me. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 13:34, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

:Also, I would note that if any of the information is inaccurate or incomplete, you are welcome to correct or add to it - we have no policy against comic creators making contributions to the articles about the comics, or about themselves. I ''would'' request that you do not remove accurate information other than as specified above. :-) --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 13:41, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

... Fine, whatever. Leave the article up. I don't care. *rolls eyes*.
--23:54, 17 August 2006 (UTC) 23:54, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

::OK. For what it's worth, you may find you actually do get visitors from it - our comic archives appear to be rather popular (though I don't know how many people go through to the U's :-). --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 02:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

== Furry forum links ==

Hi...I was wondering how I can get my forum hotlinked here like Yiffy.net's is please?

:Hi there! Do you mean you want a page like the one linked here: [[Yiffy.net]]? You can do this by creating a page for the name of the forum that you are on. The [[Help:Editing|editing help page]] tells you how to go about this (the third item down). You should make sure to click the edit button on the Yiffy.net page and look at how it is constructed, as this will help you make a page about your own site. Note that if you want it to be put in the [[:Category:Forums|forums category]], you must put <nowiki>[[Category:Forums]]</nowiki> at the bottom of the page you create.

I hope this helps - if you need more help, or if I've misunderstood, just ask here or on my talk page. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 07:01, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

== FuzzBall Muck related commands? ==

I noticed that some articles (specifically [[Age-locked]]) reference fairly common MUCK commands ([[@lock]], [[exit]]s), but there are no articles created for such. Would it be appropriate to copy from the original helpfiles, if an appropriate credit is given? Or would it be better to paraphrase or write something almost entirely from scratch? Just trying not to plagarize. [[User:Shira|Shira]] 04:29, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

:All text that goes on WikiFur is licensed under the [[GFDL]]. If you don't own the copyright to the text concerned, and it is not already licensed as such and has not been placed in the public domain, then unfortunately it is not legal for you to submit it. I would suggest writing it from scratch - that way, at least we're ''sure'' it's perfectly legal. :-) --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 04:36, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

:: Hmm... would that fall under the "webspace provider" clause of [[WikiFur:What WikiFur is not]]?

:: I'm not saying that this proposed article(s) is/are a bad idea, I'm just curious at what point do we draw the line between an article about MUCK commands, and something that looks like a technical reference unique to this Wiki? --[[User:Dmuth|Douglas Muth]] 04:46, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

::: Well, I did a bit of looking around, and [http://www.rdwarf.com/users/mink/muckman/index.html MINK's mirror of the FuzzballMUCK manual] says that it "may be freely copied, distributed, quoted, and archived," but I can understand why having articles for individual commands is getting into a grey area.. it's something that is furry-related, as MUCKs are quite common, but also has resources available online. Even more confusing, at least for me, is that some other slightly technical MUCK-related things (ie [[Action]]s) have pages that seem to add little that wouldn't be explained in that help file, while others lack any information at all within WikiFur. I just am unsure which is the better course of action here. [[User:Shira|Shira]] 05:12, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

:::It ''is'' a valid concern that we don't want to be a MUCK reference guide (do we? I think the ones that exist are sufficient . . .). However, the fact that they have been included in an article suggests that they are of particular interest in relation to that article. We could try linking directly to a MUCK reference, or we could build our own articles specifically for those entries. I think the latter is preferable with a focus on the encyclopediaic aspect - for example, ''why'' you might age-lock a room, the history of how that feature came about, etc. It could then link to the documentation. That seems to be the best approach. --[[User:GreenReaper|GreenReaper]]([[User talk:GreenReaper|talk]]) 06:08, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Hello!

I was alerted that a page was created without my knowledge or authorization regarding my persona, Flinthoof. I request that the entry be removed and all links in WikiFur that refer to the character name be removed / blocked. I do not wish to be associated with WikiFur or any of the ads being listed in the sidebar (mostly for pornography, sexual fetishes, and other unsavory things).

Please remove the entry as soon as possible. If I wish to have an entry, I will create one myself.

Thank you.

Since you insist on referencing old drama that I barely remembered without looking up the reference collection:

I have telegram chats from 2019 with a person asking if talking about participating in gay pride was civil rights politics in nature since it got them kicked out of [[IcelandFurs]] by [[Abby-Fennec]] in June of 2019, which later resulted in Abby resigning from leading the group and handing ownership over to [[Myra Midnight]] from the resulting drama, followed by Abby threatening going to Gay Pride in a [[murrsuit]] specifically and BDSM gear with the intent to drag down the reputation of furries and the local community (yes, I have screenshots). Pride parade was canceled in 2020 because of covid-19. So this seems to be someone calling Abby out for being a hypocrite for then wanting to participate in Gay Pride in full gear after having banned someone else for even considering it as well as for trying to twist the story to make Abby seem like the victim. ::: Just posted the question i had about the fursuit invite that the BDSM iceland had. Cant find the original event post where they pinged me in the comments while looking for furries. It is what happened and i dont have a murrsuit and i have never had a murrsuit. Sex in fursuit is not my cup of tea as i cant even fursuit for long because of over heat and you have seen my struggle with suiting for long periods of time and that is why i rarely suit during wvents and only do it for photos and i have radio in my suit to call Boe and medics during events because i have fainted during cons. :::: If you are talking about [[:File:BDSMIcelandregardingGayprideInvite2019.jpg|this screenshot]] then it only proves hypocrisy over anything else. We are not really debating if it is alright to participating in Gay Pride in a fursuit, but the fact that you banned another furry from the community for discussing participating in suit and then you later literally threaten to wear a murrsuit in BDSM gear with the stated intention to harm the furry reputation. == Gay Pride and Murrsuits ==

== Proof of hypocrisy ==

Since [[Abby-Fennec]] actually banned another furry from the local community ([[IcelandFurs]]) in 2019 for simply talking about participating in Gay Pride a month prior just makes this proof of hypocrisy, as previously [[File_talk:Another_attack_2019.jpg|discussed on another screenshot]]. [[User:Dark-stardragon|Dark-stardragon]] ([[User talk:Dark-stardragon|talk]]) 03:42, 6 May 2026 (EDT)

: I dont know who you are talking about getting banned. There was a heated argument regarding furries and gaypride at the time and i just remembered that Harry was with me during that time and my telegram was open on his computer as he controlled my telegram a lot during that time blocking every male person sending me dms even just to make friends. It all started with that bdsm invite i gotted at the time and and started talking about it also my memory isnt the best from the period but i only remember the invite from BDSM Iceland as a old coworker and good friend has been a spoke person for BDSN Iceland and from there people started spamming my socials with nasty comments.

:: After you banned the person, they came to me just to get clarification of why you banned them for simply discussing participating in gay pride. This ban happened in June, and according to your screenshot, following that ban and handing over ownership of [[IcelandFurs]] you seem to have gone to ask if you could actually participate in Gay Pride with the BDSM group since you left [[IcelandFurs]], following your threats to actually join in full suit with intention to do harm to the community reputation. If your memory isn't the best, then you try to confirm things if someone says you are wrong, instead of exploding into drama at every opposition. Of course you get negative reactions from people when you threaten stuff like that [[User:Dark-stardragon|Dark-stardragon]] ([[User talk:Dark-stardragon|talk]]) 04:04, 6 May 2026 (EDT)

:: I do seem to have gotten the timeline a bit wrong. Appologies. First you banned someone for discussing gay pride participation, next you hand over ownership of [[IcelandFurs]] to [[Myra Midnight]] and quit the group, then you ask the BDSM group to join gay pride yourself in suit (according to this screenshot), then you come back to me and threaten/troll me about joining gay pride with the stated intention to bring down the reputation of the local furry group. [[User:Dark-stardragon|Dark-stardragon]] ([[User talk:Dark-stardragon|talk]]) 04:36, 6 May 2026 (EDT)

Just talked to the person who i remember talking to at the time, They cant remember if they tagged me in the comment or not about the invite but this is what happened https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1775680772575702&id=100066896695472&rdid=50dPPvfL5UKlWYrX# and because of that the comments of the event itself got deleted https://www.facebook.com/share/1B6Nsd4ELw/ and this is what i am talking about that the harassment is going too far by the event that happened to me in March. I dont know who these people where and for them to follow me around and shouting at me Abby bitch, IcelandFurs asshole and so on isnt okay and after people being attacked and stabbed down town then i dno what would have happened had i stopped or turned around.
posted the screenshot with short info about what happened during the event https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/File:TheAttackOnBDSMIcelandIn2019.jpg and this is far from okay.

You know I have the right to use the name as i legally own the right to it and i have used the name from 2013. I never gave the rights to the name away even if i gave you permission to manage the groups but leaving the groups and such doesnt mean i leave the right to the name or uses of it. Redward handed over the account and right to the name in 2013 and that is why when i left in 2019 Kiggles called the groups IceFurs as he didnt have the right to use the icelandfurs name.

Also i advice you to be careful about what you say and read about the trademark and its laws https://www.hugverk.is/fraedsla/hugverkarettindi/vorumerki https://www.althingi.is/lagas/nuna/1991017.html

That is just a screenshot of a phonenumber that proves that indeed the hosting called you. And in regards to the comment "''Day when it was realised that the person managing the website Icelandfurs.org was transferred to the person hosting and managing the website design in 2019''". You and I were in active communication about the transfer of the domain ''IcelandFurs.org'' , I have the screenshot when you gave me the details and asked that I delete the old account when you handed the ownership of the group to me in 2019. The phone call was needed to confirm it with you in person, otherwise the transfer would not have gone through. There was no way that I would have been able just steal the domain from you. As you have experienced when you tried to steal the domain recently following the trademark registration, going behind our back's to ask the hosting directly to just hand it over.

No, that is not true and that is not how website transfers work. I gave you access to my accound for the hosting as you were hosting the site back then. I called them to try to get it back, they couldn't do it as i needed to file a report with the police as you used my account and i couldn't proof it wasnt me who didnt tranfer the site. I was at work duing that time and i couldnt do much about it back then as i didnt know what to do about it. We also werent it consists communication at that time as we stopped talking when i deleted my telegram and wasnt active.
