The Anthro Lounge is a furry community site. Originally founded in Fur-Con 07 by DarkWolfBlade and Shaval to teach the public on an international scale about the community and the hobbies that the Furry, Scaly and Feathered community actually does. The website originally had its roots in a Starbucks coffee shop while taking a break away from the convention, starting a so called revolution with one large paw forward for the fandom. During the website developement, The Anthro Lounge became apart of GaiaOnline as a temporary base with a guild in April 2009 and started to teach people about the fandom before casting of in April 2010 into the website to become independent.

It is a safe zone for the community for LGTBS and for concerned parents that are looking for a good place to stay clear of anti-furs and other trolls and knows when to put its paw down with hard working moderators. The Administration is quite friendly and doesn't mind to talk to the members and participate in the Event Activities that keep the members energized!

This website is also a Fur Affinity and other fandom website alternative!
