JohnOfE (real name David Wright; for the character Norbert Foster Beaver from the Nickelodeon animated television series Angry Beavers, and keeps an archive of thousands of screen-caps from the show.

JohnOfE has constructed models of Norbert with Fimo polymer clay, built a a life-sized plush with a strategically-placed hole (serving as John's primary outlet of sexual release), in addition to having the character tattooed onto his left arm.

Beaver Soup
JohnOfE has also written fan-fiction about Norbert and Angry Beavers, notably Beaver Soup. Beaver Soups premise is modeled after Who Framed Roger Rabbit? in that cartoon characters exist alongside real-life humans and animals. The story details how JohnOfE imagines a meeting between himself and Norbert Beaver would occur, and is filled with with graphic descriptions of kidnapping, rape, and mutilation.

Other characters
JohnOfE has had similar obsessions with Brian Griffin from Family Guy, and The Dog from Footrot Flats. He spends time drawing them, and as with Norbert, has built Fimo and/or plush models and toys.

JohnOfE also sports a tattoo of The Dog on his right upper-arm, and Brian Griffin on his stomach.

JohnOfE's obsession with The Dog (being a feral dog), and an admitted tendency towards thoughts of bestiality, gave JohnOfE the fear that he might cross the line from thoughts to acts. As a result, around mid-2010, he sought the help of a psychiatrist and underwent voluntary chemical castration through doses of cyproterone.

Non-anthro

2016-07-08T19:17:40Z

96.233.112.108: /* Media */

Non-anthro, full non-anthropomorphic, also known as non-morphic, is a furry term used to describe a fictitious character or fursona that do not share almost any human characteristics traits associated with full furry/anthro beings. Less commonly, it is used to describe just a regular, feral, non-sapient animal.

Biology and sapience
Non-anthros will most commonly behave and look like the common feral animal they are associated with in nature (hexapeds, octopeds, pedes, pentapeds, Quadrupeds, winged, etc). The human ability of grasping is not normally not possible, limited, or possible due to their normal animal appendage or organ abilities (pincers, prehensile tails, tongues), or are limited to their real life learned behaviors (otters, raccoons, apes).

The main trait that separates them from their real wild selfs is the ability for intelligent, human-like reasoning, normally via speech expressed with their vocal apparatus, or internalized thoughts.

In short, real live feral beings are in general sentient, i.e. aware, responsive/conscious of sense impressions and finely sensitive in perception or feeling, while most "non-anthros" are "sapient", i.e. having or possessing the ability to think and to reason.

Media
Examples of non-anthro characters with anthropomorphic in mainstream media can be found in movies like The Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Bambi, The Fox and the Hound, The Land Before Time series, and Balto.

There are also non-anthro characters like the Runner from Alien 3.

In the furry fandom, some examples include Randy and Cindy from the webcomic Faux Paws, and the characters from TallyHO.
