90.240.55.25:

'''''Not sure what to assimilate into my article.'''''

[[Image:FuByStarling.png|right|thumb|Winged feral Fu, by Starling]]
== Family and birth ==

Fu was born to a collie father and mixed feline mother eighteen years ago. Neither of her parents or their immediate bloodlines display any unusual traits, yet Fu claims to be a bakeneko (a cat spirit of the orient) and her shapeshifting abilities certainly back this up.

All sources show no evidence that she was adopted or otherwise brought into the family from anything other than birth, and the pregnancy is well documented, so there are a few possible methods in which a bakeneko could become the child of another -

'''Constant possession'''. Fu may be holding and repressing another soul and personality - an original Fu - hostage in her body.

'''Forced pregnancy'''. By manipulation of reproductive systems, there would be no soul originally assigned to the embryo, making the body purely her properly.

'''Illusions'''. Fu may not actually be born from the genes of her parents, but created illusions surrounding her mother, perhaps eventually placing herself in the womb before birth.

In either circumstances, she planned for her abilities not to manifest until she had hit puberty, and forgot who she was for thirteen years.

== Connections ==

'''Kaasu''': Younger sister by four years. Like Fu, she appears fully feline, and nicknamed "chipmunk" for her markings - a sole white stripe running from the back of the neck to tail tip. They were introduced by Mongrel, and started seeing each other when she was sixteen. Aptly described as "away with the fairies", little else is known about her.

'''[[Mongrel]]''': An eighteen year old canine/feline hybrid. They have acknowledged each other since childhood, eventually becoming friends around the age of eleven or twelve. Referred to as "older brother" by Kaasu (though not by Fu) but a blood connection is disputed. Despite no romantic interest, he and Fu have made serious references to a child they would conceive together.

'''Captain Reeves''': Grey squirrel, pirate captain and an ex-mate of Mongrel's.
