TheKarelia constructed her own fursuit, depicting her fursona. She also takes [[commission]]s for fursuits under the label '''TheKareliaFursuits'''.

In the beginning Karelia Fursuits was first and mostly targeting Japanese Anime people, who had discovered the furry fandom and wanted a fursuit done quickly, without paying much thought to quality.
Thus, suits only lasting a very limited amount of time became an accepted standard, and it quickly became "known", that these costumes were to be handed with the utmost care, and repairs was needed after a rough use.

Thanks to her, there are still people believing this a common meter, as to judge every fursuit ever made.
Later on '''TheKareliaFursuits''' branched out to local furries as well. Having way higher standards for quality, an avalanche of drama was released, when the products fell apart or ripped seams after only a half years of use.

=Fursuit business=
Despite what people think, '''TheKareliaFursuits''' is not the only, nor the first, danish fursuit maker. '''AlphaDogs''' was founded partly to grab a portion of '''TheKareliaFursuits''' market shares, and partly to force TheKareliaFursuits to heighten its standards. To their surprise, this didn't happen. Consequently '''TheKareliaFursuits''' was pressed out of the danish fursuit market, followed by accusations of "stealing" their market concept.

'''TheKareliaFursuits''' builds its business on trusty fans, ready to fight fiercely to protect their icon; a lot like Apple fans used to do towards the i-products. Several examples shows, that even justified critique is met with personal attacks from both the maker and her friends. Therefore no real information is shared, and the true quality standard is unknown. Though those who dare say anything, is, more than often, unhappy costumers not wanting to buy from her again. With prices ranging from $1100, this can be an expensive acquaintance. Rumours goes, that the sewing technique is still inadequate. This has however been impossible to verify.

TheKarlia is, by her own choice, no longer part of the active danish furry community. For reference, Denmark is (despite its small size) split in 3 parts; the three major islands: Jutland, Funen and Sealand. Being only active in the Sealand part, she still chose to demonize all danish furries, including those who never heard of her and her merits. At that time, both current and future members, claiming she was she only true furry.

=Before ordering=
New customers should be aware, that '''TheKareliaFursuits''' has a history of utilizing highly shady business methods. These includes, but are not confined to:
* Pressing the customers to provide 100% positive feedback: If you are unhappy with your product, any critique can quickly be interpretated as a personal insult, resulting in the wrath of TheKarelia, or one of her many henchmen.
* Design changes without asking: Customers has had their design changed for various reasons. Often it is grounded in "artistic freedom" claims, or the "your fursona looks much better this way"-explanation. If this premise suits you, it's fine. Though with the recent refusal to show W.I.P. (work in progress) footage, you won't know any changes before it is too late!
* Repairs only guarantied for 3 months. And you are only eligible to complain about any flaws within a 14 days time window! Other companies provide free repairs between 1 and 2 years. Top customer service is hold by '''AlphaDogs''' where you will be guaranteed '''free''' lifetime repair service, no matter how the suit broke.
