Duamutef or abbreviated Dua is the fursona of Jörn B., a German furry fan who currently lives in Berlin. His fursona includes a second character called Khaybat.
The name Duamutef is only one of many possible interpretations. Originally the name comes from the ancient Egypts and is only known to us in its written form in hieroglyphs. Other interpretations are Tuamutef and Tuamautef.

Duamutef is mated to Akwawo Owawka and resides with him in Arx Animalis
Fursona
Duamutef evolved from the Anubis: Dark Desire comics in which the main character who appears to be Anubis is sometimes called Dua.
Duamutef is a jackal with shortish black fur and pitch black crow wings. Disaccording to most pictures of Anubis Duamutef has no mane. His athletic body stays on plantigrade feet with five clawed toes each.
Around his eyes he has the characteristic Udjat-eye paintings. His claws are golden. On his right shoulder is a scar of a wolf bite.
Usually he wears a linen skirt and linen bandages around his wrists and ankles.
Mythological Background
Behind this name stays the Egyptian god Duamutef, who has the same appearance like Anubis, but is in fact a complete different deity.
In addition Duamutef shares many attributes with the Archangel Uriel which is one reason why he has wings. Another reason is his admiration for crows who are like jackals known as guides for the souls of deceased.
Abilities
Duamutef's feathers can change their length rapidly. They can also change their hardness to serve as blades in the case of danger. Refering to his appearance as Uriel Duamutef controls the element of earth. He can move all kind of minerals and metals with his will.
Equipment
Duamutef has a variety of helpful tools. The bandages which are wrapped around his wrists and ankles look like any ordinary bandages as they were used for mummification, but these bandages are imbued with the blessing of the goddess Neith which makes them indestructible and gives them extraordinary healing effect.
Another tool of Duamutef is his golden staff.
It can produce and canalize an unlimited amount of electric energy. The electric arcs that can be created with this staff are so hot that they can turn stone into gas.
Duamutef's third and possibly most useful tool is his golden scarab that serves as minion and decoration. He usually carries the scarab on his collar.

Khaybat
Khaybat is Duamutef's shadow, that has its own persona and abilities. Its name is derived from the Egyptian word for shadow.
Khaybat can detach completely from Duamutef and appear as an autonomous Anthro. As long as it does this Duamutef has no shadow or becomes Khaybat's shadow.

Fursona of Khaybat
Usually Khaybat looks like a female version of Duamutef. She is a bit smaller and slimmer than Duamutef.
Her favorite activity is to tease people, especially gay men. Like Duamutef she admires Akwa.
With her playful and gauche nature she easily makes people lose their poise. Nontheless she is kind hearted and would never really harm others on purpose.
Duamutef and Khaybat use to sound off against each other. Despite this speciousness they like each other very much.
Abilities of Khaybat
Khaybat is a shapeshifter. She can appear as every life-form she wants to be. Even strange hybrid forms are possible.
As long as Duamutef is Khaybat's shadow she takes over his ability to control the element of earth.
