Rose Besch, aka Bara-chan is an anthro/anime artist with immense popularity online.

Her unique, "chunky", large-eyed style and impressive CG graphics make her artwork easily recognizable to those familiar with it.

Barachan's anime fanartwork has been featured as loading screens on the MMORPG Ragnarok Online, on the cover of Playstation Magazine Italy and LO-FI Magazine, and even on cellphone wallpaper download websites. Besides these, her artwork can be found all over the internet, on galleries such as DeviantART and her website, "Bara-chan's cyber garden".

She is creator of a whole slew of original characters(most of which are furry), including a purple-to-pink haired echidna named "Shifuu" , a rock-playing red panda "Sharmila" , "Visha" the tiger , and many others.

Since the appearance of her artwork online, fans of her have seen her style evolve from "Sonic the Hedgehog-esque" to something truly unique(and often emulated because of it). With her anthro artworks, characters often appear to have emphasized, thick limbs, while her 'human' artworks demonstrate a masterful eye for anatomy. All her recent art boasts incredible coloring in both cg and traditional media, and smooth, thick inking.
