I don't know much about Wolfhome, but some of the most recent additions sounded biased enough to justify the NPOV template. If anyone more familiar with the subject can shed some light on it, it would be appreciated. --mwalimu 17:48, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

I dunno. I was there and saw exactly what went on. This, (while a little harsh and has since been toned down) is a fair representation of what has been going on.

Wolfhome is a graphical chat interface that is similar to Furcadia. Originally the programming was done by Gre7g and the artwork was all done by Goldenwolf but it has been passed to other hands now. For a time it was quite popular, with the cute wolf poses and scenery and fun interactions, but eventually the drama and infighting drove it into the ground, as well as Gre7g's lack of continued interest in the site.

After Kerfuffle took over the rights and resurrected the chat, albeit in the form of a downloadable client, Wolfhome's popularity swiftly returned and Kerfuffle was heaped with praise and congragulations. Of course, like all good things, things swiftly turned sour. Unable to explain exactly what he wanted from the admin team, including not defending decisions made by the hard working and under appreciated art staffers and overturning decisions made by the administrators, eventually forced him to take leave, while saying he would "keep an eye" on his project.

3 months later, one of the Wolfhome admins FoxGrin was demoted by the rest of the admin team for various reasons. At this point Kerfuffle returned and closed the site down. There were many accustations thrown around. Kerfuffle denied the two were related, and it was the "final straw" that forced him to close the site.
It has remained shut since early this year.

Wolfhome (the latest version being referred to as "WH3.0", a phrase coined by ex Wolfhome admin Hadey) is currently being worked on with Foxgrin in the lead of the project. Despite numerous critics, she moves ahead. The fandom is currently watching and waiting to see how events will unfold.

Wolfhome is still owned by Kerfluffle.

On a semi-related note, a group of old ex-admins have thrown in together and are creating "Wolfhome Classic". Not billed as competition to WH3.0, but rather a return to the older method of running the site. This project is currently is Alpha testing, with public Beta testing hoped for in early June. They hold rights and permissions for artwork and names.

Of course, like all good things, things swiftly turned sour. Unable to explain exactly what he wanted from the admin team, including not defending decisions made by the hard working and under appreciated Art Staffers, overturning decisions made by the administartors, and a lack of backbone eventually forced him to take leave, while saying he would "keep an eye" on his project.

3 months later, after a Wolfhome admin "FoxGrin" (also know as "Silver tongued freak", or "that vulpyne dumbass") was demoted by the rest of the admins for not upholding her duties, badmouthing the rest of the staff (while not tolerating any illwill towards Kerfuffle, who many believe were involved in more ways than one) and revelaing information from the admin forum boards. At this point Kerfuffle returned and closed the site down. There were many accustations thrown around. Kerfuffle denied the two were unrelated, and it was the "final straw" that forced him to close the site. Many think he is outright lying, since Kerfuffle always seemed in favour of anything that Foxgrin prposed.

Wolfhome (the latest version being referred to as "WH3.0", a phrase coined by ex Wolfhome admin "Hadey") is currently being worked on with Foxgrin in the lead of the project. Despite numerous critics, she moves ahead ignoring any dissent or simply editing her old posts to make it appear ideas were hers, or that she supported them. The fandom is currently watching and waiting to see how events will unfold.
