Real life
Ramsay Baggins (real name Philippa) first became aware of the furry fandom at the age of 14, joining the site macrophile.com before ceasing to visit soon after. When she was 16 a furry school friend and artist recommended she join Fur Affinity. She joined in September 2007 and soon after joined the Fur Affinity forums . She does not enjoy the adult part of the fandom and so stays away from that aspect.

A self confessed Star Trek fan and geek, she also enjoys making fan videos . She owns a Star Trek: The Next Generation operations uniform and is currently working on making a fanfilm. She made a partial fursuit of her fursona and is currently working on updating it. She is believed to be the only fursuiter in Ireland.

Ramsay_Baggins (known also as 'Ramsay') also enjoys writing. She writes prose, poetry, scripts and song lyrics. Known to be a very creative person, she uses these mediums as a form of emotional expression. She also plays both acoustic and electric guitar as well as having played the saxophone, hoping to take up the instrument again when she can afford it. She also enjoys singing, a lot.

She has a very mature attitude most of the time, but is also known by some for her famous brand of impatience. That said, she is a friendly, fun, bubbly character. She loves to give people help whenever she can and her friends love her for it. She is also a Christian and until recently attended a weekly Youth Club called Encounter at Strandtown Baptist Church over the course of three years. Her parents are divorced and her father has since remarried.

Fursona
Ramsay Baggins' fursona, Pips, is a tigress who shares her birthday. Her name is a shortened version of her real name and so has a more personal aspect to it. Pips has a distinctive J shaped marking on the left side of her face along with short white hair atop her head. She is atheletic and toned and usually wears a green strap top and flared blue jeans. Ramsay Baggins has mentioned that Pips has two different backstories.

BPRD backstory
This is the most well developed backstory Ramsay Baggins has created for her fursona, the first parts can be found on her Fur Affinity profile. There is also more which is still being typed up. Pips was raised in an orphanage before escaped aged 12 and being picked up by the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense at the age of 16. She is friends with Hellboy and Liz Sherman and has developed a romantic relationship with Abe Sapien. Pips has some psychic abilities, being able to block Abe Sapien's ability to look into people's minds and defeating a powerful creature which feeds off of emotional energy of the host before killing the host. She has vivid nightmare recollections of a fire where her mother was killed. The backstory is written with the characters as their film personas with hints of their comic personalities as Ramsay Baggins is an avid fan of the Hellboy and BPRD comic books as well as the films.

Star Trek: The Next Generation backstory
This story is largely undeveloped at the moment.
Pips was a civilian on a starship which Data was serving on in her early life. Her parents then decided to settle on a planet to allow her to experience a different culture as she grew up. The freighter on which they were traveling suffered fatal damage during flight and crashed on a previously unexplored Class M planet. Pips was one of the only survivors of the crash. She was 'adopted' by a family who lived in what was late 20th/early 21st century Northern Ireland. Due to Hodgkin's Law and the theory of Parallel Planet Development, the planet she had landed on was incredibly similar to Earth of that period. The technology, politics and even celebrities were the same. Her 'adoptive' family kept her out of the way of scientists and so allowed her to keep up a normal life. When Pips was 18, the Borg invaded the planet. Pips managed to avoid assimilation. The USS Enterprise D (NCC-1701-D) arrived at the planet a week later, having been ordered to investigate. They found one intelligent life form left on the planet and the away team beamed down to it's co-ordinates. After using his tricorder to to find a more accurate trace of the life form, Data came across Pips sitting on a rock in the middle of a dusty plain. Pips and Data then beamed aboard the Enterprise while the away team continued their investigations. Pips was then enrolled into Starfleet as an expert on late 20th/early 21st century Terran technology and life and allocated quarters on board the Enterprise.
