She is a fursuiter and an artist. She is a fiancée to Ravell, a wolf therian, and the pair of them decided to foray into the furry community for the first time in early 2005. As of October 2006 alternately goes by the name Tolga.

Korrok's fursuit is a Mightyena from Pokémon, not to be confused with Lacy's Mightyena. To date, Korrok's Mightyena has appeared at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2006, Eurofurence 2006, as well as so-called guerilla fursuiting around Glasgow city center. Further planned appearances are Midwest Furfest 2006 and Furry Weekend Atlanta 2007.

Korrok's fursona is a one-eyed lime green spotted hyena, while she also has a jackal succubus character named Tagora.

Korrok began drawing in January 2004 and considers herself an "improving artist". She now takes a variety of commissions and has worked for many clients to date. Her artistic influences in the furry fandom include Huskie, Nimrais, Kyoht, Shinigami Girl, Kaji, Starfinder, Ailah, Keihound, and many more, resulting in her eclectic gallery of both realistic and toony work. Outside the furry fandom, she adores the work of Adam Warren in particular, but also Dungeons and Dragons illustrators Sam Wood, Wayne Reynolds and Todd Lockwood. Korrok's media of choice is the Prismacolor pencil.

Korrok actively supports animal rights and will be happiest when hunting and vivisection become illegal worldwide. She is passionate about all animal welfare.
The purpose of Furbid Horrors is the mockery of auctions listed on FurBid, the online furry auction house. Most commonly featured are poorly made or overpriced fursuits or furry art, although the administration has an openly admitted overt dislike of plushophilia and thus features most auctions for modified, yiffable plushies.

Furbid Horrors began as an aside started by Korrok in the LiveJournal community Furry LJ Drama (which was eventually suspended). After several features, Kelpie Dingo - owner of Furry LJ Drama at the time - set up the separate community. It remained under the moderation of Kelpie Dingo, Padfoot, and Korrok until Korrok's suspension from LiveJournal in February 2006. She was replaced by her fiancé Ravell, and thus still has control over the community. In March of 2006 Banrai was added as a moderator. During 2006 Padfoot dropped out of the community and Kelpie Dingo was removed as moderator after parting ways with Korrok and Ravell.

Auctions are featured along with a short piece of humourous commentary. Although several of its members have been featured, there are also people who have become extremely offended at their inclusion. The Administaur of FurBid-SF has publicly expressed her disapproval of the community on its forums.

BigBadMod (often shortened to BBM) was an account that acted as the maintainer of _Horrors groups on LiveJournal (the exception being copycat community Furbid_Horrors which operates independantly). It was created shortly after the founding of VCL_Horrors by Iatro, Thrack and IndigoFox, who later gave secondary access to Exodite Dragon, Jade Sparrow and Skwerl.

Because of the sporadic periods of Internet access possessed by the various account users, the BBM account rarely appeared to play an active role in moderation of the communities it controlled. IndigoFox appears to have abandoned his use of the journal in early 2005, while Thrack, Jade and Skwerl used the journal sporadically, often not logging in for weeks at a time. Iatro performed basic maintenance, such as controlling flamewars, while Exodite Dragon was most vocal in the account, posting to communities and running the e-mail account.

Consequently moderation was choppy, inconsistent, and often abusive in its tone towards members of each _Horrors community. Eventually, Sian Silverhair was able to correctly identify Exodite Dragon as one of the faces behind BBM, who had secretly despised both the account and each _Horrors journal since early 2006. Prompted by these circumstances Exodite Dragon obliterated everything remotely related to BBM from the Internet on September 7, 2006 without the approval of any other mods.
Note: Padfoot and Footpad are two different persons.

Padfoot was born on the 11th of April 1983. She has been a part of the therianthrope community since around 2003. She joined the furry fandom in 2005, through a love of fursuiting. She lives in a village near Glasgow, Scotland, where she lives with her non-furry fiance.

Padfoot, the therianthrope
Padfoot believes herself to be a maned wolf and an eastern dragon therianthrope. She discovered these theriotypes after several years of feeling-out, meditation and "soul searching".

Here is a section of her website, Forest Edge, which discussed the hows and whys of her therianthropy:

"Why do I believe that I am a therianthrope?

Typically, it all goes back to childhood. I believe my therianthropy to be a mental condition, that I developed early on. There were always animals in my life, especially dogs. My mother has told me tales of our first dog, Bonnie (a German Shepard) , who used to follow me around everywhere as my bodyguard. She would only let my mum and (sometimes) dad come near me. She wouldn't let me do anything dangerous, like go onto the balcony or up/down the stairs. She mothered me, in her own way.

My whole family have always had dogs as companion animals. I remember running around the park with them, and I remember sleeping in with their pups. I used to like crawling around and yapping. Good times. My family thought it was cute.

As I grew older, I still felt a closeness to dogs, and their wild counterparts. At school, I used to play the dog in house, or used to reinact what I saw on a nature documentary the previous night.

I assume that all of this imprinted itself on my mind, and has formed an important part of my personality - not just my therianthropy. Thanks to my childhood companions, and the upbringing from my parents, I also have a great deal of respect for life, which is why I am a vegetarian and pro-animal rights.

I did experience what I now know were phantom limbs and m-shifts during my childhood, but as I grew older I started ignoring them. None of my friends or family experienced what I was going through, so I decided that it wasn't normal and my imagination was running riot.

And so to my 18th/19th year when it all kicked off again...

March 2002. My shifts came back with a vengeance. And I started having what are called dream shifts. The annoying thing was that I couldn't get a good look at myself in my dreams. I don't hold much faith in dreams, but since they are brain-burps there is always something worth investigating. I did consider the option that I was mentally ill. (I am, see the previous section). But, being an animal person (in a "I love animals: real and mythical sense), I looked up stories on werewolf lore. I found nothing of interest until I reached werewolf.com, in November 2004. Please feel free to laugh.

At this point, I started experiencing different phantom limbs and m-shifts . Joy. Something else to confuse me.

The folk at werewolf.com kept mentioning the word 'therianthropy'. I asked what it was, and was pointed in the direction of some forums and resources. (Listed in my links section). I read up on the concept of therianthropy, and like an utter newb I jumped straight into the community. I was accepted pretty readily.

But what was/were my theriotype(s)?

I used several methods to try and figure out what I was. I kept diaries, and took notes of my shifts and made drawings (tones of drawings!) to try and piece together what my theriotype was.

Surprisingly, my dragon theriotype was the first one I figured out. Mostly based on my experiences of phantom limbs, I pieced together my appearance. Mental shifts were more different to pin-point, as they were so close to my human mindset. Although it was easy to put two and two together, it didn't make believing and accepting it any easier! If you don't believe me, try and find information on people who think they are dragons. Better yet, go join a forum. They make your head hurt. Luckily, I had Luwana and Shen Tirag, who both identify with dragon, to discuss what I was feeling. Having realistic, down-to-earth folk to talk to made it so much easier.

Discovering my maned wolf theriotype was a bitch. In hindsight, I can say it was because I did not know enough about the canid family.

I couldn't find my species. I had drawings, but none of them matched up with the canids I knew of. I wondered about the idea of being a non-species specific therianthrope. I posted about it at TO. I'm proud to say that my topic spawned the creation of the term 'cladotherian' by Mokele, and ashamed to say that it started a bandwagon trend for people who couldn't be arsed working out who and what they are.

But months later, I knew this wasn't right. I knew I was one canine, not the whole family. Note, that I believe that cladotherianthropy is a valid experience.

And so my quest began again. This time was different. By this point in my life I had formed good friendships with several therians, both on-line and off. With their help, I began whittling down the list of potential theriotypes. My main clues where phantom limbs - huge ears that didn't flop and long limbs. A friend's knowledge of the animal kingdom threw up a few species that I did not know of, including the maned wolf.

I'll let you in on a secret. I really hoped my theriotype would be an African wild dog. Those guys are so cute.

So, I started looking up information on the three potential species - African wild dog, Ethiopian wolf and maned wolf, if I remember correctly. I still remember the first time I saw a picture of a maned wolf. I thought it was ugly. It's body was out of proportion, and it just looked like a gangly fox. That put me off, since I had discounted foxes early on.

But there was something familiar about the critter. And it did match my phantom limbs. I read up on them, and they just seemed so right. Their habitats, diet and behavior just seemed so 'comfortable' like an old pair of slippers. Not very scientific, but that's how it was. I was so happy that day. And when I saw the maned wolf in real-life, I was on the brink of tears. I just watched them sleep, and think "That's me."

So 2005, the year I turned 22, the year I figured out my therianthropic nature. I am dracanine. I am human, I am maned wolf, I am ying lung. I am the sum of my parts, and so much more."

Padfoot, the furry
Primarily, Padfoot is an anthropomorphic maned wolf, who can be drawn as a male or female. He/she has no specific markings, although the creator generally prefer him/her to have 3/4 of his tail tip white, as an attempt to differentiate the maned wolf from the red fox. This fursonna is based on her maned wolf theriotype. As of May 2006, Padfoot tends to portray his male-side in a Doctor Who outfit, because she is such a huge Doctor/David Tennant fangirl. There is a partial fursuit of Padfoot, which was made by Ravell. The partial has put in appearances in Glasgow, but has never been seen at a convention.

Originally, Padfoot was a huge grey dog (a wolf x wolfhound) with huge black ear tufts. This particular incarnation of Padfoot was inspired by the myth of the blackshuck, a huge specteral dog that roams the leylines and church yards of the UK. As such, he is referred to as Padfoot-Blackshuck. Padfoot-Blackshuck is always male.

Vengeance-Blackshuck is a modified version of the Padfoot-Blackshuck fursonna, with more dragonic traits. These include spikes along the spine, horns and wing stumps. She is always female. Vengeance is Padfoot's favourite fursonna, and one day she wishes to have a full suit of her.

Finally, there is Cameron Whitepaw, who is a white kangaroo. He's into the heroine chic look, and likes dance music.

Padfoot, in real life
Padfoot's real name is EJ Easton. She is an artist, and works mostly on sculpture and illustration. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in June 2005 with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art: Environmental Art. Animals are the main subject of her work. Dog-Eared Studios is where she hosts most of her work. Padfoot is usually open to commissions and trades, all you need to do is ask.

Padfoot is a philosopher of sorts, and devotes lots of her time to musing over religious, spiritual and ethical issues. Her website Forest Edge is geared towards these musings.

She is a vegetarian and is interested in the animal rights movement. This stems from her love of animals and her interest in ethics.

Padfoot is not particularly liked by the Scottish furry community, but to be honest she doesn't particularly like them. Most of the ones she has encountered are perverts, junkies and thieves. That is a fact, you can ask her for specific details if you are curious. She limits her contact to a couple of trusted friends.

She considers herself to be androgynous, her gender is neither male or female, but somewhere between the two. In reality, this means nothing.

Padfoot started a british sign language course in April 2006. She loves BSL, as it is such an expressive language. She has recently started a BSL blog, which can be found on You Tube. It's not very exciting, but it provides Padfoot with some much needed practice. Her first assessment is on the 11th of July, 2006.

At the beginning of 2006, Padfoot took up running as a hobby. On the 11th of June 2006, she completed the Race for Life, a 5km road race on behalf of Cancer Research UK. Her time was 38 minutes, which she considers to be pretty good for a beginner. She is currently in training for the Great Scottish Run 10k, and is running on behalf of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. If you would like to support the cause, a link to Padfoot's fundraising page can be found below.

Padfoot suffers from depression. She never completed her diagnosis because she believed that the psychiatric workers wanted her to kill herself, back in 2005. She believes she is bi-polar (commomnly known as a manic depressive), but she is paranoid about all psychiatric workers so hasn't returned for diagnosis. Padfoot believes that people who mock mental illness are the scum of the earth.

Padfoot is a childfree, bleeding-heart liberal - and proud of it!

Padfoot, on-line
Padfoot usually loiters about on LiveJournal. Her LJ username is blackshuck. Currently the blog is friends-only, because Padfoot seems to attract every arsehole and scumbag walking on earth. However, she does run one community for therians/furries/otherkin. Padfoot is the creator and moderator of the Mental Shifters community on LiveJournal. It caters for those therians, furries and otherkin who suffer from mental illness. She is also involved in other LJ communities: furbid_horrors, valeofleven and wereagonyaunt.

Padfoot has a deviantart page, under the username wagyu. She visits there quite often.

She is a frequent visitor to two forums: http://www.ukfur.org/forums and http://forums.therianthropy.org . She rarely posts on either anymore, though does make an effort to keep up with the goings on.

Korrok - real name Sarah Thomas, born November 1984 - is a spotted hyena therian from Glasgow, Scotland. She is a fursuiter and an artist. She is a fiancée to Ravell, a wolf therian, and the pair of them decided to foray into the furry community for the first time in early 2005.

Korrok's fursuit is a Mightyena from Pokemon, not to be confused with Lacy's Mightyena. To date, Korrok's Mightyena has appeared at Furry Weekend Atlanta 2006, as well as so-called guerilla fursuiting around Glasgow city center.

Outside the furry fandom, she adores the work of Wikipedia:Adam Warren in particular, but also Wikipedia:Dungeons and Dragons illustrators Sam Wood, Wayne Reynolds and Todd Lockwood. Korrok's media of choice is Prismacolor pencil, and she distinctly avoids attempting digital art.

Korrok actively supports animal rights and will be happiest when hunting and vivisection become illegal worldwide. She is passionate about all animal welfare.
Published in 1991, it accompanies the similar books Hunter's Moon: A Story of Foxes, Midnight's Sun: A Story of Wolves and the lesser-known House of Tribes. The books follow the natural lives of their animal characters who speak, have their own cultures, societies and mysticisms.

In Frost Dancers we follow the life of the blue mountain hare Skelter as he is taken from his Scottish Highland home to the flat English countryside to be put in a hare coursing event. After escaping, Skelter must adapt to the landscape and the lifestyle of the field hare, and face an unknown danger.

What is known, however, is that he is a British fur from Scotland. He is a wolf, animator and writer. He is in his young twenties, and is fiercely protective and loyal to his friends. We believe that he became active within the fur community in the mid 90s. It is unknown when he became christian, but evidence indicates that it was fairly recently.

He has stated in the past that he would sell his left arm to see both David Bowie and The Cure in concert. He is an active member of the anime community, and we believe that he has a fondness for RPGs. He does not seem to have much interest in artwork, although some evidence indicates that he has tried his paw at it now and then.

He's expressed some interest in fursuiting, but so far has not actively involved himself in fursuitting communities. It is rumoured that he made attendance at Anthrocon 2005, and has stated his intention to make other conventions in the future. He is a known advocate for the eradication of drama from the fur community.

He does not drink tea.
He is believed to also be present on Second Life, Furcadia, and few other graphical MMO locations now and then, but these reports are uncertain. He is more frequently found on his livejournal and IM.

The darker side of Marsten is also shrouded in mystery. It is known that in April 2004 he was banned from attending meets organised by the group Scotbeasts Fur, Were and Otherkin Community as they thought he was potentially dangerous. He often talks of carrying weapons, and sources have stated that he once told a classmate he wanted to bring a gun into college to kill the tutors and students. Ex-boyfriends have ceased contact with him for stalking and threatening them. He travelled to London to meet a fur friend from the internet, supposedly to spend the weekend, but was told after 6 hours to "please go home" and said fur paid his fare away from him. He has harassed other furs for sex, going so far as to slip condoms into the bag of a boy who said he was not interested in sex. He has made a reputation for himself as someone who is "creepy" and to be avoided among those he's gotten close to. In his journal he has repeatedly mourned that parents bring their kids away from him, calling him a "bad man".

He does not seem to go out of his way to draw attention to his writing. The reason for this is unknown. Aside from this, sources of information on Marsten is few and far between.
