His character is a male anthropomorphic Red Fox paladin. He always goes by his nickname on the Internet (due to proven disdain for his real name).

His character is based upon himself, but polished with no psychological disorders or disabilities.

He also has an all-rounder taste for music, be it crude 8-bit from the NES to Arrange versions (though he is not much fond of remixes and orchestrated remixes).
Cid SilverWing has earned a growing reputation in the fandom for being perpetually altruistic and supportive. His sense of morals and ethics have unfortunately made him a target for many trolls, griefers or otherwise folk with opinions conflicting severely with his ("heretics" as he calls them).

Nevertheless his unending and obsessive will to keep his friends ("comrades") going with nurturing words of love have proven to be helpful many times.

Fursona
His character is a male anthropomorphic Red Fox paladin. He always goes by his nickname on the Internet (due to proven disdain for his real name).

His character is based upon himself, but polished with no psychological disorders or disabilities. He drew heavy inspiration from the MMORPG World of Warcraft Paladin, Priest and Warrior classes, mixing the primary advantages of these three in-game classes into a godmodded character.

Although his character serves a deity, Cid is actually an atheist in real life and is an outspoken enemy of religions, primarily all forms of Christian and Islamic religions. He repeatedly makes radical statements about how all religions (principially excluding Buddhism) should be banned and constantly declares the aforementioned religions as heresy.

Real life
Cid grew up over the years with a very deep passion for games, be it electronic or board. On consoles he enjoys Action/Adventure, RPG, Platform, Fighting and Tactical Espionage Action games. On PC, he enjoys FPS, RTS and Tactical Espionage Action.

He also has an all-rounder taste for music, be it crude 8-bit from the NES to Arrange versions (though he is not much fond of remixes and orchestrated remixes).

Sexual interests
Cid, who is bisexual (with a repeatedly stated female preference), is also a huge fan of muscle growth media, in addition to hyper, to the point of exaggeration. He has coined the term "gawdmuzcle" ("godmuscle") which describes hyper muscles with infinite strength and invincibility.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is a popular television crime drama on CBS in the United States. The original series is set in Las Vegas, Nevada. Spinoff series called CSI: Miami and CSI: New York have debuted cater to those local markets.

Episode 5 of season 4, Fur and Loathing (first aired 30 October 2003), had characters Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows investigating the murder of a raccoon fursuiter and following the trail to a fictional furry convention called PafCon. The show portrayed furry conventions as being not much more than lectures and sex orgies, showcasing a private furpile during one scene. Gil Grissom, though, saw spiritual aspects to the fandom and even took interest to a speech and other information relating furry fandom to ancient spirituality.

Collaboration with Southern California Furries
In August of 2003, the producers of CSI approached Dark Fox (now known as Sabre Fox), who was then head of the SoCalFurs Yahoo! Group, inviting local furries to participate as extras in the already-scripted and in-progress episode "featuring" furry fandom. Dark Fox made an optimistic post to the mailing list, suggesting that furries might be able to finally contribute to portraying the fandom in accurate, positive light. Much discussion was taken up about the positive and negative consequences such an episode would bring to the furry fandom.

After compelling Dark Fox and Kiyo Fox to sign a non-disclosure agreement, the producers lent the two a copy of the draft script for review.. Dark Fox quickly singled out many errors and misconceptions (which he cited as being based on the MTV Sex2K furry episode). During a follow-up meeting with CSI's director, producer, set designer, and creative director, he pointed out these errors, describing and showing real photographs of furry conventions. Nonetheless, even after being shown the truth and correcting many of the crew's perspectives (including the creator of the show), the director gave Dark Fox the ultimatum that the show would continue as previously planned.

Yet another post described Dark Fox's frustration with the impending negative consequences that the CSI episode would have on the fandom's image, including the feeling of futility in dealing with the unmovable objectives of the director and producer. Moreover, he received many "weird" emails. While most seemed supportive, he cited his concerns with being blacklisted for his efforts. Fearing retribution, he posted a public comment on Flayrah, explaining his hardships.

The episode's convention scene was shot on September 15th of 2003. Though the morale of most local furs were greatly reduced, a handful were allowed to participate as extras. Others were held back at the studio gate reportedly due to payroll concerns. The real furs dressed in normal street clothes, wearing the occasional ears and tails; not one wore a fursuit. The resulting episode merely showed the real fans only for a few seconds in background shots before cutting to more prominently-shown paid actors in "fursuits", scritching each other en-mass in the lobby of the hotel.

Biography
Cid can be described as a kind-hearted vigilante, but describes himself as a "Lightsworn Crusader of Justice", basically meaning that he sees himself as different from the narcissistic crowds.

He grew up with video games over the years that passed, thus he has a very deep passion for games, be it electronic or board. He enjoys on consoles adventure, RPG, platform and "Beat-'em Up" genres. On the computer, he enjoys FPS, RTS and Tactical Espionage Action.

He also has an all-rounder taste for music, be it crude 8-bit from the NES to Arrange versions (though he is not much fond of remixes and orchestrated remixes).

He has earned himself a minor reputation in the fandom for being perpetually altruistic and supportive. His kind-hearted demeanors and sense of morales and ethics have unfortunately made him a target for many trolls and griefers (or "heretics" as he calls them). Nevertheless his unending will to keep his friends ("comrades") going with nurturing words of love have proven to be helpful many times.

Fursona
His character is a male anthropomorphic Red Fox paladin. He always goes by his nickname on the Internet.

His character is based upon himself, but polished with no psychological disorders or disabilities. He drew heavy inspiration from the MMORPG World of Warcraft Paladin, Priest and Warrior classes, mixing the primary advantages of these three in-game classes into a ridiculously overpowered knight he dubbed "the true Paladin." A more detailed profile of his character can be found at Fur Affinity.

Although his character serves a deity, Cid is actually an atheist in real life and is an outspoken enemy of religions, primarily all forms of Christian and Islamic religions.
