Fur Isle is a proposed convention that is planned to be held on the Isle of Wight, England, on October 31st - November 3rd 2014.<br />
<br />
The theme of the convention is "Halloween", as this fits in with the date of the event itself. There are plans to decorate the entire hotel like a haunted house. Three venues of varying sizes were being considered to host the event over December and January, dependent on the level of interest the convention gained over that time. The website went live on December 2, 2013. The website was still in need of further development, with pages reading 'currently under construction'. Most notably with no information on events, guests of honour, or a charity. The website was taken down for maintenance soon after, and remained down for re-designing, including arrangements to hire trained developers. In early October Kitutal posted "Been spending the day checking prices at the shortlisted venues". As of early December, updates are also posted to the convention's twitter and facebook accounts, and also the ukfur forum thread. By then, with the organisation of the convention settled on a small dedicated team, the venue had been determined, a theme chosen and elaborated on, a first year charity picked out, and a cute mascot designed.<br />

== Events and performances ==<br />
<br />
There are no planned events or performances as of yet. However, there are plans for talent show style auditions.cn<br />
<br />
== Staff ==<br />
<br />
There is no confirmation of any staff on this convention, aside from Kitutal himself.<br />
<br />
== Marketing issues ==<br />
<br />
During the early part of 2014, the FurIsle Con Fur Affinity page began leaving shouts on many UK users' pages, urging them to attend. This produced vastly negative reactions.cn<br />
