The furry community of Denmark has its central hub around the IRC channel #dkfurs on Furnet and the associated website and forum, DKFurs.

Most Danish furries seem to have friendly relations with the closest community to them, the UKFurs. They hang out in their chatrooms and visit them in real-life for furmeets. English is also spoken most often in the Danish IRC channel.

The number of active Danish furs fluctuates, but as of November 2009 the total number of members on the Danish furry forum is over 225.

Most real-life interaction between Danish furries are in the form of mini-meets - no conventions exist yet in the country, although Eufuria is proposed to occur in June 2010. The first Danish furry presence at a large furry convention happened in 2001 with EuroFurence 7, and in 2005 AnthroCon had its first Danish attendees.
