Alflor Aalto is a furry writer who lives in Connecticut, U.S.A. His fursona is a North American river otter, something he'd decided upon long before joining the furry fandom or even being aware of its existence. Back then, Alflor was (as he still is) in love with the Redwall Series. It's thanks to those books that Alflor had gained both his fascination with anthropomorphism and his love for otters.<br />
<br />
Alflor joined the furry fandom in the Spring of 2010,<ref>Alflor Aalto's bio at the Furry Writers' Guild. He has since published several furry novels and written several others available both on SoFurry and Fur Affinity. He has written a number of short stories as well. Three of them are available online, and two will be available in the upcoming volumes of ROAR and FANG respectively.<br />

== The Looking War ==<br />
The Looking War is a short story by Alflor Aalto. It will be published in FANG Vol.5 and chronicles the the last assignment of a spy named Orrin, whose mate, Trivus, just happens to be hired for the purpose of bringing the spy to justice.<br />
<br />
This story is part of the Llyran Wars series and is the first chronologically.<br />
<br />
Unlike the main novels in the series, The Looking War does not feature an appearance by Prince Natier. Instead, it takes place at a time before the Prince returned from his journey to Septimine. The locations are the same, however, and a lot of the characters who would go on to appear in later novels and short stories are introduced, if briefly.<br />
