76.102.19.181: /* Real life */

Emerald Sage (also known as Anguna and Only-Sailor-X/only_sailor_x) is an artist whose real name is Summer C. Latimer. Summer is not exclusively a furry artist, but does her fair share of furry artwork.

Evolution
The first form of Emerald Sage started as a simple white tiger female with large, black wings, but has gone through a couple changes since. In the late 90's, she became a shapeshifter that could go between three different forms; One a human, the second an anthro form which she originally started as, and the third a quadruped version of her original fursona. Soon the fascination with shape-shifting faded and she settled back into a simple white tiger with wings again. In late 2006 she went through yet another transformation and finally settled on the half husky/half white tiger form that she currently is. She is only starting to introduce this new form and it can only be seen in Second Life currently.

Art style
Summer's art tends to lean more towards depictions of characters from her stories or rp's then it does any outside source. It ranges from cartoon to realism and has an even amount of human and furry pieces.

Real life
She adapted the fursona of Emerald Sage in mid 1990's. She considers herself more of a borderline fur and is rather opinionated about the furry fandom in some aspects. Summer is currently a double major in Vocal Performance and Art in California. She is a coloratura soprano who enjoys opera and musical theatre. She is a bit of a career student and enjoys meeting new people.

External links
*Emerald Sage's FA gallery
*Emerald Sage's DA gallery
*Emerald Sage's Epilogue gallery
*Emerald Sage's ArtSpots gallery
*Emerald Sage's VCL gallery
*Emerald Sage's LiveJournal
