Anti-furries are a majority of the internet that find furry to be repulsive, especially any and all aspects having to do with furry sexuality. However, they tend to exhibit great interest in the sociology of the furry community.

In some cases, anti-furries may be previous members of the furry fandom who have become disgusted or disillusioned with furry. They may consider themselves anti-furry while still continuing to produce or consume media relating to anthropomorphics, using fursonas or participating in conventions or MUCKs. Conversely, they may not only cease any interest or association with furry fandom, but actively deny any previous involvement.

Many online communities have a strong anti-furry slant, such as Something Awful, Portal of Evil, and the Encyclopædia Dramatica, though possibly because they're searching for drama, and the stereotypical furry fan is easily annoyed. Crush! Yiff! Destroy! is an example of a site primarily catering to a general dislike of current furry fans and fandom.

Anti-furries are also commonly known as "mundanes", although this can also be used to refer to anyone who is not a member of the fandom.
