71.121.1.75:

A Folf is a furry term for an anthropomorphic hybrid character with the genetic make up of a Fox and a Wolf. A folf can show physical characteristics of both a fox and a wolf, depending on which trait is more dominant. Another name for this hybrid, significantly less used, is a wox or wolf-fox; this is due to perhaps the way those terms sound when spoken.

See also
* Folf characters

species-stub

71.121.1.75:

'Pholph' is actually a derivative name I created, when people started using "Folf" more commonly. Its also where the domain name I use for hosting the Jack comic (www.pholph.com) came from. Its not "commonly known as", since I also 'created' the term... -Ryan (Since I don't recall having an account, I can't log in. Those who know me, know how to get ahold of me to confirm this is me.)
