Kodi grew up in [[Wikipedia:Ottawa|Ottawa]] and [[Wikipedia:Vancouver|Vancouver]], Canada. Having a love of performing and entertaining, he began making costumes in 2000.

Kodi was a founder (and former [[chairman]]) of the annual [[furry]] gathering [[Howloween]], in Vancouver. At [[Howloween 2003]], Kodi was featured as a part of the CBC television program [[Culture Shock]], which explored the Furry sub-culture.

In 2004, Kodi was a founder of the [[Arend Studios]] group, but left in late 2006 to pursue other career aspirations in the [[Wikipedia:Toronto|Toronto]] area. In 2009 Kodi moved back to Vancouver after spending a year in [[Wikipedia:Chicago, Illinois|Chicago, Illinois]], U.S.A.

He has 3 regular characters that he performs in: Kodi (husky), King (german shepherd), and Havoc (werewolf). Kodi has been making fursuits for years now and currently takes commissions through "kodi made".

Cubist, Have you ever even considered the the situation might be a result of the "breakdown of diplomacy"? If neither side is willing to lower their sabre, at least part way, things will only continue the way they have been.

Removing his name would not necessarily have to be permanent - whether it remains off the article would be dependant upon Mozdoc's future conduct.

It seems that in this day and age, the only thing being polite and respectful gets a person is ignored, told to f - off, or hit. And THAT is what I believe is going on with Mozdoc - society has kind of taught him the bad habit that unless you are confrontational and ready to resort to force, people will not listen to you.

If we are going to judge Mozdoc on what society as a whole has drummed into him, then we need also judge ourselves.

:No, that is not the meaning of the term. He appears to believe that you do not actually support the same goals as the wiki, but are trying to subvert them by pretending that you do. For example, if giving people fair treatment was one of the goals of the wiki you might express concerns that Mozdoc is not getting fair treatment, thereby hoping to elicit sympathy from those who would otherwise have a neutral or negative opinion. The method Cubist used to do it is SO childish, it makes me wonder if I should just put him/her over me knee and spank him/her. :))

Mozdoc needs to learn to control his temper - I can sympathize with that. I also know how most of society can literally drive people like Mozdoc to such actions.

By only using punishment against him, we only further reinforce his behavior. That's not to say we should just give in and remove it to stop threats - just the opposite. HOWEVER, If it is removed, and you and the others make it CLEARLY known that
1 - it CAN be added in again should the threats resume.
2 - that it is being done for fairness sake.

I believe it will have a greater positive impact not only on the conflict but upon Mozdoc himself.

:As far as I know, the only person who has brought up the concept of you being the same person as Mozdoc is you. The assertions made by Cubist relate to the pursuit of similar goals while professing neutrality, not similar identity.

:I am unsure how much any of us can help Mozdoc. I've talked to him on several occasions and made no long-term progress. The whole reason the page is here in the first place is that counseling hasn't worked to stop the harassment of others in the fandom. As I understand it, its purpose isn't to coerce the subject into good behaviour (because punishment doesn't work), but to ameliorate the effects of his bad behaviour on others. :There's basically two options for the forum - either create [[Happy Feet]] and make the forum a subsection of that, or create [[Happy Feet Fan Forum]]. The normal thing to do is the latter - have a separate article for the forum. I would suggest tightening the language in the history section a little, though. It should concentrate on the facts, not subjective statements like "grew quickly" (how quickly?). The talk page should mention and link to the prior article.

:We tend not to do really huge articles about commercial works because Wikipedia does it better than us. We are not created to compete with them in their field of expertise - we would rather readers and editors went there instead. Therefore, what I would recommend is to make an article with an overview of the movie, but which concentrates ''specifically'' on the usage of Happy Feet within the furry fandom (which Wikipedia is not likely to cover), and then point people to [[Wikipedia:Happy Feet|Wikipedia's article]] in the "See also" section. Question: How come there is an article on [[centaur]]s but not one on [[mermaid]]s? Recently, I was going to write a article about mermaids and I saw the log about it being deleted because it's "not furry". I don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence here but, a centaur is "top half human, lower half horse" (you know what I mean) and a mermaid is "half woman half fish" I seriously don't see the problem...

Is it because there are [[foxtaur]]s, [[skunktaur]]s and [[chakat]]s, and one would be very hard pressed to find a picture of a furry mermaid? Or because if an article on the mermaid is allowed, it'll open the door for articles on the lamia (half woman half snake), medusa, the harpy and anansi (part man, part spider I think)?

One shared file repository is a good idea for saving server drive space. But motivation of anon users to register is lowered since no more extra feature of uploading files available. Ok, so be it. The second problem is russification of WikiFur namespace. ВикиФур: is counted like articles and may appear in Random articles. :Honestly, the disk space is not so important as the time. It takes work to translate a page. If you have to upload all of the images in it as well, that is more work. I would like to avoid that work for most images. People still need to register to use the image pool (but we would like to make it be just one registration for all WikiFur in the near future). If there is any interface text that needs to be changed on the pool wiki to help Russian contributors, I would be glad to do so. Images can still be uploaded locally by going directly to Special:Upload.

I just wanted to ask one thing: I think we all know that many people often just blank their own articles, either not knowing or not caring about exclusions. :A webring is not useful for a wiki article on a topic because it is basically a replacement for a set of links. These links should instead be placed in the article's external links section of the article if they are of sufficient relevance and contain useful information, and not linked at all if they are not.

:Webrings were great for finding relevant sites ten years ago. They're pretty much redundant with search, now. If you find one on here, you are welcome to replace it with specific links to useful websites on the ring. We're not interested in being part of any. If websites find us useful, they're welcome to link directly if they wish.

Lace is a healthy, athletic built, male black wolf. His [[fur]] is mostly black, however he has white fur that runs from the under his [[muzzle]], down the front of his neck and his body, down to his groin.

He has two grey stripes on each side of his cheek followed by black headfur that extends out like hair with blue highlights running through it. Lace has light blue eyes and wears a necklace with three shark teeth on it.

He is a [[fursuiter]] who has attended many [[convention]]s, a musician (percussionist), and a DJ ([http://www.earvelvet.com/ EarVelvet]). Thumper is a volunteer for a not-for-profit character performance association and works as an IT Manager in Portland, Oregon.

==Fursuits==

Thumper owns 3 [[fursuit]]s: "Thumper" the white [[rabbit]], "Bumper" the [[bear]], and "Geronimo" the [[gecko]].

"Thumper" has been through 4 different revisions. Thumper v1.0 first appeared at [[ConFurence 9|CF9]] in 1998. Thumper v2 has gone through 3 different versions of the head (made by both Kodi Pup and Frizbee Pup) and a few feet replacements, but the body and details have remained unchanged.

"Bumper" was made by [[Kodi (Canada)|Kodi Pup]]

"Geronimo" was the first mascot/cartoon style character made entirely by Thumper himself and appeared for the first time at [[Further Confusion 2006|FC2006]]. He returned for [[Further Confusion 2007|FC2007]] in a Tuxedo masquerading as "[[Gex]]" (the Eidos Interactive game character) in keeping with the Convention's "007" theme.

==Music==

Thumper is a percussionist with several years experience in high-school and middle school jazz bands and today enjoys occasionally getting together to play with his 'genre-less' garage band "Rusty Pipe".

Thumper was the center snare and a music writer for the Willamette High school Wolverines drum line for 4 years.

As a Ipod DJ, Thumper used his connections at a light and sound company to put on large stage shows; his first public show in 1992. He played mostly Pop and Top 40 for high schools and middle schools in the Eugene area (while a high-school student himself). He later specialized in house parties for fraternities and sororities around the University of Oregon. He 'retired' from doing public shows after moving to the Portland area for College in 1995. He came back in 2002 for Howl-o-ween and continues to play that event every year.

During high school he used an analog multi-track editing studio at his school to compose original songs and create many remixes of tunes, however all this material is thought to have been lost during his move in 1995 or is still on a shelf in the studio back in Eugene.

Today Thumper enjoys playing mixed shows of Top 40 Dance remixes, House and Retro for his public shows. He has done a few private Internet Techno/Trance/Dance shows but hasn't had an audience to play such a set live recently. He used primarily CD's but also .wavs from computer during the 90's but has switched to all digital since 2002 and presently uses Traktor Studio for live events.

Thumper found furry back in 1996 while playing a number of characters on [[The Lion King MUCK|TLK MUCK]]. He later was very active with a character called Thumpy on [[FurryMUCK]]. He presently has a character on [[Second Life]] called "Thumper Bunnyhug".

Thumper was the editor and web host for an online TLK Fan Webzine called ''[[The Pride Lands Online]]''.

==FurDir==

Thumper was the creator and programmer of the [http://furdir.thumper.net FurDir]. The FurDir was created in 1996 and released online in 1997 as the first searchable Furry Web Directory that was built with dynamic web code and all input and content controlled automatically by the users/members. Thumper was prompted to create the FurDir after failing for months to get listed on any of the other Furry Web Directories at the time which were all manually created and updated and frequently has long delays between updates or getting responses from the owners to get added or information changed.
