As a member of the Muushi forum myself, I can attest to the fact that its members do distribute paysite material, along with other copyrighted material, and are not banned or reprimanded for doing so. The information on this page, as far as I can tell, is accurate in describing content that is displayed illegally on Muushi. Muushi.net does not host any illegal or stolen software. Our goal at Muushi.net is to provide a place where the furry community can share information and ideals.

The following quote from below is erroneous:

Muushi.net does in fact have a DNP list, it is given to The Staff and is monitored to comply with DMCA protocol. The email above is the current email of the Administrator. Any illegal links or software should be reported using the sites report feature or an email to the admin at the address above will see that the matter is resolved as soon as possible. This is clearly outlined in the forum rules.

:P.S. Regardless of whether there is a private Do Not Post list, it all depends on whether anyone actually does report information. You could say there is such a list, but then there could be an implied feeling in Muushi that no one ever reports anything so that everyone gets to see everything. Both of you are members of the site. If the links are not reported they can not be removed. Linking me to the site does not constitute a formal request for removal. If you are an artist or know that the material in question is a violation of copyright infringement and wish it to be removed. The site has a readily available report feature and the Admin's Email address is public.

:So what you're saying is that, the only way to have something removed is either to have a member actually hit the report button or for the person whose images were stolen to go through all of those steps? So, even if a moderator knows that something is copyrighted, such as Hard Blush rips, they will not do anything to get rid of it unless it is reported by someone else?

It is not unreasonable for you to know that works like ''[[Furrlough]]'', ''[[Genus]]'', ''[[Associated Student Bodies]]'' and the contents of [[HardBlush]] are unlikely to be posted with the permission of the copyright holder. The site's position appears to be to tacitly encourage their posting until the copyright holder finds out and complains about it. The Media sections of the forum are not my area, and the Staff has limited resources. We rely on users to report problems to us if there is an issue. Muushi.net does not host any of its content, and as I said does not support the sharing of copyrighted material. If an artist wishes for his work to be added to the DNP list he must make a formal request through the site OR if he does not wish to do that he MUST follow the DMCA protocol. Once material is added to the DNP list the Staff takes appropriate measures to see that it is not posted. However, as I have mentioned earlier we have limited resources and at this time over 20,000 registered users.

In summary:

Users should use the report feature or email the Admin at his current email address:

If a topic is reported A member of the staff will personally see to the issue and resolve it in a timely fashion.

I can not comment another members actions, That is an issue to take up with the Administrator. It would be disrespectful and arrogant of me to speak on anothers behalf. I only comment on policy and rules. If you have a question about our policies I can answer them or I am readily available at the site, using the Private Message Feature. The topics reported have been deleted as I have said they would. If you wish for us to continually monitor for the reoccurrance of these topics please have the artist submit a request, either publicly in the forms or to the Administrators email which is listed above. Also if you notice any other topics that need to be brought to our attention please report them.

Please be aware that each report has to be verified and reviewed by a member of the Muushi Staff. Large quantities of reports take time to process.

As far As I know all reports have been reviewed and handled. I hope that by showing my cooperation with this matter I have proven our commitment to our fellow Furry Community members and artists. If you or another member of our forum notices anything else fitting this description report it immediately and it will be handled in a timely fashion. If we are unaware of a problem we can not fix it.
