Cobalt (Delos)

70.110.254.239:

Cobalt is the alter-ego of furry Artist Chris Sutor, a four-foot, grey furred teddybear whose trademark is a silver "headband" hoop with a five-pointed star on the front, and who habitually wears blue-colored clothing.

Cobalt's Species is given as Delos, as this is the name of his race, but to all intents and purposes he is a teddybear.

Character History: Much of Cobalt's history is shrouded in secrecy. The most that is known, is that Cobalt is supposed to be "The Last of the Delos" - a title which has turned out to be in question since the appearance of his evil twin, Talboc.

Much more isn't known, and Cobalt either doesn't know what happened, or simply isn't talking.

Current Home:
Cobalt lives in a three-story, futuristic "Skypad" which was manufactured by the FUTURO company. He shares this home with Twinkle the Foozle, a sometimes servant, sometimes lover, and sometimes comedic sidekick.

This three-story dwelling stands high in the sky, atop a pole, overlooking the capital city of the planet Iopa. It's interior decor seems to be a mix of 40's deco, 50's retro, 60's pop, and 70's plastic fantastic, including several [http://www.eero-aarnio.com/8/Objects/Ball_Chair.htm Ball] chairs.

Cobalt Online:

Cobalt was originally created as an alter-ego for Furry Artist Chris Sutor, on the old text-based internet dungeon FurryMuck. More recently, Cobalt has popped up on the 3D iternet system SecondLife.

On Secondlife, he goes by the name of Cobalt Neutra, as SecondLife requires you to select a last name from a list of choices, and does not allow single-name characters. Neutra was the name chosen from the list as it was also the name of a character in the mythos of 80's pop band DEVO.

Cobalt almost became Cobalt McCoy, in refrence to Doctor Who #7, Sylvester McCoy, but his first attempt to sign up to SecondLife was unsuccessful, and upon his second attempt, the list of provided names had changed.

The Neutra surname is unofficial, and outside of SecondLife, he is known only as Cobalt.

70.110.254.239: Stuff about Chris Sutor

Chris Sutor is a furry artist from the east coast of the United States, who has been in the fandom since 1989.

Furry History:
His first brush with furry fandom was at Balticon 23, thanks to a FURRY PARTY poster hung inside an elevator. He had gone to help set up computers, in the convention's computer room, and spied the poster while lugging equipment. At the party he purchased a large collection of comics, and furry art magazines, and became instantly addicted.

During the 90's, he contributed artwork to a number of small press 'zines, including Furversion, and Bestiary, and regularly attened furry parties held during Philcon, at the now demolished Adam's Mark Hotel. During this era, he also created and started playing his alter-ego, Cobalt, on the internet chat/game FurryMuck.

Current status:
Chris is engaged in the creation of comic books for Furnation Multimedia, including COBALT, a comic based on his alter-ego.

He also runs two yahoo groups:

1) Cobalt's Big Pit Of Stuff, where he publishes his newest art, political rants, and various random musings.

2) Club Foozle, which is a yahoo group dedicated to his "foozle" alien race.

Chris also plays his alter ego Cobalt on the 3d chat/game system Second Life. There he runs a car dealership, a dance club, and The Radio Theatre, which plays old time radio shows.
